Match for the vacant CPW Tag Team Titles
LAX (Anarquia and Hernandez) defeated Money Inc. (Ted DiBiase and Robert Roode) when Anarquia pinned Roode with the Reverse Neckbreaker in 20:48 to win the CPW Tag Team Titles.
Pre-match, Money Inc. showed clips from last week and then at the 3Rivers show. They said it was a conspiracy to commit. Commit an act of terrorism. LAX was here causing problems that they had no business being in. LAX were thugs. They said that they were going to call Immigrations and the Boarder Patrol to come round up LAX... About that time LAX made their way to the ring and told Money Inc that they could take their mics and shove them up their as.. Money in attacked LAX before they could get the last bit out. This match went back and forth, with both teams showing little regard for the rules. LAX, was the fan's favorite, but their recent run In's with Money Inc. brought out their bad side. In the end it was Pure Dynamite on the Jumbo-Tron distracting Money Inc that lead to LAX picking up the win and the gold!
In Ring Interview
Kofi Kingston came out to the ring wearing a pair of jeans and a tee-shirt, looking pretty happy, although a bit concerned. He said that he had taken the last week to think over what his partner... his friend Evan had told him last week. He called out Evan Borne. Evan came out in a two thousand dollar Armani Collezioni Giorgio Model Suit and Louis Vuitton Evasion costing $1,200! Evan asked Kofi what conclusion he had come to? Kofi said that he wanted to stay friends. He wanted to stay partners.. (Evan smugly smiled). But not it it meant being a stuck up, superficial ego manic! Evan was beside himself at these comments! Evan took the mic and told Kofi that while someone once said "Every man has his price", he doesn't think that Kofi has a price. Kofi shook his head in agreement. Evan said that while he wanted this relationship to continue... to bloom and blossom, he just doesn't see it happening. He was about to tell Kofi that he was dropping him as his partner, but Kofi took the mic and said "Great! Then we are done?" Evan took the mic and said no... YOU are done! and Evan backed out of the ring. Kofi turned to leave and turned square into the face of ABYSS!!!! Abyss hammered Kofi and threw him into the corner, then came crashing in!! Abyss finished him off with the Black Hole Slam and Evan stood at ringside smiling and clapping. Abyss stood over the decimated Kofi Kingston, as the arena lights started turning red and orange.
One on One Match
Alex Riley pinned Sin Cara after a power bomb in 16:27.
This match was ground work versus air power. Riley worked a very good ground attack on Sin Cara who was on the top rope for a good portion of the match. Both men moved very quick in and out of the ring. In the end, Sin Cara went for a hurricanrana, but Riley was able to counter it and turn it into a Power Bomb for the win.
One on One Match
Matt Morgan pinned CM Punk with the Carbon Footprint in 19:59.
This match was set up by the new 'Enforcer' in California Pro, Tommy Dreamer. He said all over the world, and in every state, the fans have been asking him, when will it be Punk taking on Morgan? Well tonight it was Punk taking on Morgan. It went back and forth. Morgan was too big for the GTS, so Punk focused on setting up for the Anaconda Vice, and nearly had it locked on. In the end, Morgans height is what proved to be the difference maker, as Punk was charging in, Morgan side stepped up and over, with Punk crashing into the corner, then eating a boot full of Morgan. After the match, both men shook hands.
Match for the vacant CPW Television Title
Christopher Daniels pinned Christian with the Best Moonsault Ever in 28:39 to win the CPW Television Title.
This match went back and forth. Both men hit their finishers on at least 3 seperate occasions, trying to put the other one away. Both men were about as equal in a title match as there could have been. In the end, it was Abyss planting Christian with a Black Hole Slam on the arena floor that led to Daniels winning the championship, although he didn't see Abyss attacking Christian.
Tag Team Match
The Miz and Val Venis defeated Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle when Val Venis pinned Kurt Angle after a bulldog in 20:08.
The Miz and Venis were still fuming over being ordered to take part in this match. They felt that they were above being to when and where to wrestle unless it fit their needs. As they waited in the ring, Samoa Joe was introduced and he sprinted to the ring. Miz and Venis, rather than bailing from the ring attacked Joe like rottweilers on a pot-roast. They tore into the suplexing machine, as if to save their skin. And then, just like that, the lights go out. A 'GONG' can be heard and there, standing in the light, is not the Undertaker.... But as "Proud to be an American" plays stands Kurt Angle! The momentary distraction was enough to get Joe enough time to level The Miz and Venis with a thunderous double clothesline! Angle joined the match and it went back and forth, back and froth. The fans were happy to see Angle, of only to see him and Joe throw Miz and Venis around the ring. In the end, Mix was able to get Joe outside the ring, and while he was on the apron, he snapped Angle across the top rope, allowing Val to hit a huge Bulldog for the win.
