One on One Match : Caprice Coleman -vs- Santino Morella
- Coleman was looking to once again get back into winning fashion, while Santino was looking to make an impact in CPW.
- Santino was all business, and had a rather different, more serious look than last we saw his carefree style. He was serious, stone faced and showed little empathy for Coleman.
- As the match progressed, Santino worked stiffer and stiffer, and finally leveled Coleman with a vicious elbow appeared to knock a tooth or two out of Coleman's mouth before locking on the Bridging cobra clutch!
Tag Team Match : Pure Dynamite -vs- Adam Pearce/Joe Hennig
- Cliff Compton, for some unknown reason was not at the show, so Joe Hennig stood in for him in this match.
- Both teams got a good amount of offence in, but in th end, it was Pure Dynamite who was able to squeek out a win when Henning and Pearce started bickering near the end.
- After the match, Pearch shoeved Henning. Henning shoeved Adam back and they got into a brawl wuntil security pulled them apart.
In Ring with Alberto Del Rio : The CPW Champion came out as the arena erupted into boos. He said that the NWA World Champion was scared.. scared to come back to CPW. He said that he had offered Punk first Class treatment, but he would rather go to the Great Lakes and wallow in the mud with the has been Raven. He said in the past Raven was good.. He had a great mind, but all the years all the kicks, drops and drugs have taken their toll. He said that come Capitol Combat, it would be Champion vs Champion. Man on Man! No interfearance! He siad that he is even willing to let The champion pick a stipulation for the match! He went on to say that he is willing to put the CPW championship on the line against ANYONE in the NWA! Del Rio left to boos as he stopped and flashed that smile to the fans in attendance.
One on One Match : Cody Rhodes -vs- Jim Powers
- Cody made his CPW debut and told the crowd that he is the son of a Plumber... That would make him a Junior Plumber. He said his family is rich in history... But he is here to live his own life and come out from the shadow of his father and brother. He said in the past he was 'Dashing' and 'Daring'... 'Dangerous' even. Now he is just Cody.. Not to be confused with 'Just Joe'. He is Cody Rhodes.. Nothing more, nothing less.
- Cody put on a good showing for his first match under a CPW contract, and his change of character seams to have hit big with the fans in California.
- In the end, Jim once again fell victim to being over matched.
One on One Challenge Match: Kofi Kingston -vs- Dolph Ziggler
- Kofi looked to continue his winning ways since winning the King of the Ring, while Dolph looked to upsage his partner who lost last week against Kofi.
- The match went back and forth, with each man nearly winning.
- In the end, Kofi hit the Trouble in Paradise for a two count, then hit a flying legdrop, much akin to the Alabama Jam, from the top rope for the win!
One on One Match : Chris Jericho -vs- The Miz
- This match was announced as a Number One Contender for the Television Championship just before the match was set to begin.
- Both men worked a very good match, each working off the other.
- In the end, Jericho went for the Lionsault and missed. The Miz hit the SKF to pick up the hard fought win.
One on One Match : Alex Riley -vs- Masato Tanaka
- Masato Tanaka came out and was brutal in the match! He used everything he could get his hands on that the ref didn't take away!
- Alex had a very, VERY breif bit of offence, but it was rally no use, as Masato Tanaka just brutalized Riley.
- Credit given to Riley, as he kept getting up, and never quit, but Masato Tanaka was just too much in this match, and after it was over, Tanaka took the mic cand said he wanted more! More blood, more flesh, more opponents!
NWA World Jr. Heavyweight Championship Match : Richie Steamboat -vs- Johnny Gargano
- Steamboat was given this opportunity, based on his recent outings, in CPW as well as HPW, and he looked at taking the title back to CPW in short order, while Gargano looked to keep the title with him.
- Both men moved fluidly in the ring with Gargano being the driving force in the match with his quick and sudden bursts of offence.
- In the end, it looked like Steamboat was mounting some offence and took a tumble to the outside when Carltio came out and hit the Backstabber that took its toll on Steamboat and made him easy pickings for Gargano and the the Hurts Donut!
Street Fight for the CPW Tag Team Championships : Money Inc. -vs- The Faces of Fear
- Both teams came out wearing street clothes for this fight. Roode and DiBiase brought out Kendo Sticks, while Joe and Henry came out with just thier tag titles.
- Both teams went at it, the champs did thier best at trying to wear down the challengers, while Money Inc., worked over the champs in trying to keep the champs off thier feet.
- Both teams took thier toll on the other, but in the ent, Rood got caught in a double avalanche that set up a ring shaking German suplex from Joe to end the match.
