The show started out with fireworks and the announcers running down the card, and going over the latest happenings in CPW and around the NWA. All of a sudden, Masata Tanaka comes out and says that again, he is looking to fight.... fight in the NWA. His quest for the holey grail.. the NWA title... To bring back to Japan.. to RSW! He said he has beaten Jim Powers and Caprice Coleman! He wants more! He says that he will not leave until is challenge is accepted!
After a few moments, out steps Santino Carelli, and says that the 'old' santino would have played games.. joked around about his English.. asked for some Shushi... But now, he is all business! Tanaka wants a fight? Tanaka gets a fight!
Challenge Match
Santino Carelli | -VS- | Masato Tanaka |
Masato Tanaka was the bigger of the two, but Santino Carelli was a bit quicker. The two traded lefts and rights until Tanaka kit Carelli with an elbow shot to the face that sent Santio to the mat. Tanaka then went on the attack. Tanaka showed the same vigor that he had in his ECW days, looking for blood. Santino was able to eventually avoid Tanaka and get a few breaths of air. As Tanaka came around Santino poked Tanaka in the eye, momentarily blinding the Japanese star.
Santino went on the attack, using his Judo skills and his MMA background. This worked for a few minutes, but eventually, Tanaka was able to fight his way back into the match and after another round of trading blows he was able to hit the Roaring Elbow and pin the dazed Carelli for the win.
Result : Masato Tanaka pinned Santino Carelli with the Roaring Elbow in 08:01.
After the match, Tanaka again took the house mic and said that while Santino was a step up from previous encounters, he still wanted more... he demanded more! At that point he took a chair from under the ring and busted Santino open with it! He took some blood and marked and 'X' on his own chest! Tanaka said he had the blood of CPW on his chest... And was waiting for the next man to step into the ring and try to stop him!

CPW Television Championship Match
Special Referee
Special Referee
Challenger The Miz | -VS- | Champion Ken Anderson |
AJ came out first, wearing his referee shirt, The Miz came out next, followed by the Champ, Ken Anderson. Both the challenger and champion warned Styles about double crossing them. AJ took the mic and told them both he was there to count the pin fall or register the submission. He could careless what they did to each other, but he hoped the beat the living tar out of one another... as HE was the next in line for a title shot at the winner! With that AJ ordered the match to start, and he rolled out to ringside and took a seat. The Miz looked on perplexed, only to have Anderson blind side his challenger.
Anderson and Miz went back and forth for a few minutes, punching and kicking each other, and trading throws and suplexes. Styles finally got into the match when Anderson went for a cover around the 5 minute mark, and got a 2 count. Anderson felt that AJ counted too slow and got in his face. As the two argued, Miz tried a roll up, but AJ used the same count (1.......2..... kick out). AJ and the Miz got into verbal debate as well over the count. AJ stunned The Miz with a solid slap to the face! The Miz then went after Anderson, and went for pin after pin, getting the same result... a 2 count.
As the match neared the 7 minute mark, Anderson was back in control and was looking to try and end the match. Anderson had Miz down and hurt, but decided to antagonize Styles. Grudge Tag Team Match
Carlito & Caprice Coleman | -VS- | Richie Steamboat & American Kickboxer II |
This was another very good back and forth match. Carlito and Coleman worked together well, while Steamboat and AK2 were a bit off balanced, but still a formidable team.
Coleman was still a bit banged up from his encounter with Tanaka earlier in the week, but still managed to pout in a good amount of time for his team. Carlito was wicked evil in this match. He used the tag rope and the ring ropes to his advantage while the ref had his back to him and an opponent in the corner.
Steamboat and AK2 mounted their comeback late in the match, and it was caped off with a huge double team on the injured Coleman, when Steamboat tagged in AK2 then nailed Coleman with a chop from the top rope. Steamboat then risked himself as he took out Carlito with a suicide move over the top rope onto his opponent to the arena floor. AK2 followed up the attack with a Springboard Headbutt onto the groggy Coleman for the win!
Result : Richie Steamboat and American Kickboxer II defeated Carlito and Caprice Coleman when American Kickboxer 2 pinned Caprice Coleman with the Sprinboard Headbutt in 09:00.

Inter-Promotional Tag Team Grudge Match
Windy City Pro Wrestling's The Hooligan Squad | -VS- | California Pro Wrestling's The Faces of Fear |
This was one hell of a grudge match. With the Squad having gotten one over on the Faces in recent weeks. The FoF did travel to WCPW and took care of The Nexus in short order, so they were familiar with what to expect.
Both teams went at it before the opening bell, and at times picked up the ref to move him out of the way, to continue on with he physical onslaught!
Stone as the smallest man in the match, so naturally, the FoF targeted him, in an attempt to give them the advantage in the match.
As the match went on, both teams were able to gain control, and it looked like the Faces of Fear were gaining the momentum, Rockstar Spud came out and distracted Samoa Joe on the ring apron. Just as Joe got to Spud, Spud jumped down, evading Joe and his fury. As Joe turned around to return to the match, Dave Mastiff leveled him with the Discus Lariat! Mastiff rolled up Joe for the three count!
Result : The Hooligan Squad (Dave Mastiff and Martin Stone) defeated The Faces of Fear (Mark Henry and Samoa Joe) when Dave Mastiff pinned Samoa Joe with the Discus Lariat in 12:26 after Rockstar Spud distracted Mark Henry.

Prior to the match, we see the recent happenings between Del Rio and Punk. We see the Great American Bash where Punk retains his NWA Title and then the challenges from Del Rio in the form of snippets from his various interviews and finally the tag team match this past week with The Miz and ADR taking on Punk and Cottonwood, with Del Rio getting the win, only to eat another HUGE gore from the newly signed Rhino!
Just before the introductions got underway, Rhino was interviewed, and he said that one way or another, HE would be CPW champion by the end of the year.... and then the NWA Champion soon after that! Win or lose, BOTH men would feel his wrath soon enough!
Street Fight for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship
CPW Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio | -VS- | NWA World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk |
CPW Champion, Alberto Del Rio, came out with his ribs taped up from his recent goring from Rhino. ADR kept looking over his shoulder as he made his way to the ring. Punk came out next, followed by Richards.
As this match started out, Punk, naturally went after the injured ribs of ADR. Del Rio did his best to try and protect himself, but it hart to do that and keep a focused attack on the NWA Champion.
This match went back and forth, with both men focusing on particular body parts (Punk the injured ribs and Del Rio, working over the shoulder area of Punk.)
Late in the match, Richards tried to get involved, but Del Rio ended up with the iPad and used it on Steven, thus neutralizing him, only to get hit by a flying lariat from the champion!
As Punk stood gloating, Rhino rushed the ring and slid in. Punk looked on a bit shocked, as Rhino and Punk circled each other. All of a sudden, Rhino extended his hand to the NWA World Champion! Punk smiled and shook it! They embraced!! Then Rhino went to the corner and waited as Punk picked up the dazed Del Rio and held him up in the center of the ring. Rhino gored Del Rio!! Punk was loving it! He took the mic and said that while there were a generation apart, they were brothers... brothers in an army that would not die! They were destined to rule the NWA, not Del Rio!
Punk picked up Del Rio again and held him for Rhino to gore him again. Punk held up Del Rio, who was in serious trouble. As Rhino came in for the Gore, Del Rio moved and it was the NWA Champion who felt the full brunt of the move!! Rhino looked on in shock, then in a notion that he was in it for himself, he left the ring!
Del Rio crawled over and draped one arm over the crumpled body of CM Punk as the referee and crowed counted: 1.......2.......3!!!!
Result : Alberto Del Rio pined CM Punk in 18:51 to win the NWA World Heavyweight Title after Rhino interfered against CM Punk and Alberto Del Rio.
