The pyro goes off inside a sold out Miami Beach Convention Center as Matt Striker, Bill DeMott and Steve McMichael welcome everyone to the debut of the newest territory in the National Wrestling Alliance: NWA South Beach. The music of the self-professed "WRESTLING GOD" hits, as JBL makes his way to the ring to address the crowd.
JBL: Welcome everyone to NWA South Beach, where unlike your precious Miami Heat, we will deliver a strong show from start to finish. *points to LeBron James, Dwayne Wade and Erik Spoelstra sitting in the front row who stand up* You guys have won one title, call me when you've won 7 and are considered a God in your sport, now sit down and shut the hell up unless you're going to something about it. Now that that's over, the NWA has announced it's latest supershow on November 30th: Fall Brawl. As the General Manager of this company, *crowd boos mercilessly* you were expecting someone as weak as that parasite Eric Bischoff?, I was angered to see that NOBODY from this territory has a match on that card. I talked to the NWA Board of Directors earlier today asking them why nobody from the only promotion run by a God was on it and they told me that nobody on this roster deserved an opportunity. They needed to see something spectacular from someone, ANYONE before they even considered putting NWA South Beach on their card.
Matt Sydal and Mike Sydal walk out to the ring and ask for a match to prove themselves worthy of a spot on the card saying that nobody in the NWA can match the excitement and aerial agility that they can bring to the squared circle.
JBL: *laughs* You kids have got to be kidding me! *Points to Matt* You can't stay off the injury list, and *Points to Mike* who the hell are you? I don't even know you! You kids have got rocks for brains, but you got spunk. If you can win this match, I'll talk to the Board of Directors about putting you vanilla midgets on the card. *addressing the crowd* Tonight we'll be having the first round of an 8-man, single elimination tournament to decide the first ever NWA: South Beach Heavyweight Champion.
*Kenny King and "Ruthless" Rhett Titus, The All Night Express, hit the ring from the crowd and start beating down the Sydal brothers!*
JBL: By the way you idiots, your match starts now.
Match Number 1: Matt and Mike Sydal vs. The All Night Express.
The referee finally restores order as Matt and Kenny start off the match. Kenny continues to beat down Matt, continuously taunting Matt and showboating to the crowd. As Kenny tags in Rhett, the referee checks in on an obviously disoriented Matt Sydal. Matt tells the ref to continue the match, and somehow manages a dropkick to the knee of Titus. Matt tags into Mike and the younger Sydal starts going off on the ruthless one with a flurry of kicks and finishes with a clothesline over the top rope. King checks on his partner as the Sydals hit stereo suicide dives and the crowd erupts. Kenny tags back in and goes back and forth with Mike in the middle of the ring with Mike getting the upper hand. Mike with a snap suplex in his corner and tags in Matt. Matt goes up to the top for a shooting star press but King catches him! Kenny King looks at Mike, smiles, and walks to the middle of the ring and hits The Royal Flush! Rhett Titus pulls Mike down from the apron and hits the Muff Driver! King pins Matt and it's all over.
Winners: The All-Night Express
After the match Kenny King grabs a mic and puts himself and Titus over as not only the best team in NWA South Beach, but in the entire National Wrestling Alliance, and to prove it; they are issuing an open challenge to ANY tag team in the NWA for a match at Fall Brawl. They leave the ring to a chorus of boos as the announcers put over how dangerous this young team could be to the Rockstars of Wrestling.
Match Number Two Bully Ray vs Super Dragon
The announcers begin the match by informing everyone that this is the first quarterfinal match in the NWA: South Beach Heavyweight Title Tournament. After a fairly decent match Bully hits Super Dragon with a Bully Bomb for a hard fought win.
Winner: Bully Ray
Bully puts himself over after the match and says that he will be the first ever NWA South Beach champion and there's nobody in this arena, whether its those pipsqueaks the Sydals or that gigantic pussy of an ostrich Chris Bosh *the camera cuts to Bosh sitting ringside crying as his teammates try to look like they don't know him*, that can stop him. Bully walks to the back soaking up boos while the commentary team voice their disgust at Bully's language.
Match Number Three Christopher Daniels vs. Michael Elgin
This is the second match in the NWA SB title tournament. Nicely paced match with Elgin coming close on several occasions. Christopher Daniels gets the victory after Roderick Strong fails in an attempt to interfere and runs off with Elgin in hot pursuit, getting himself counted out in the process.
Winner: Christopher Daniels
Low Ki comes out next saying that he came to NWA South Beach looking to fight people that had a Warrior's spirit and fought with honor. He says that his match is next in the South Beach Title tournament, but unlike the other participants, he was not informed of who he would be facing tonight. He says that while the GM conducts business without honor, he will fight anyone that the false god puts before him and will do so with honor. Albert, in his Tensai gimmick, comes out and yells in the World Warrior's face before pie facing him. A random referee hits the ring and the match begins.
Match Number Three Low Ki vs Albert Tensai-san.
The match starts off and both men trade punches and kicks. Low Ki manages to get the former hip-hop hippo into a corner and lights up his chest with knife-edge chops. The once and future prince counters and puts Ki in a corner and starts with open hand slaps to the chest until Ki ties him up until Generic Referee number 2 breaks up the tie up in the corner. Both men go back at it brawling to the outside before making it back in at the count of nine. Ki tries for the Krush Kombo but the roundhouse gets blocked and turned into a sitout power bomb for a two count. Tensai continues pressing his advantage and with open palm thrusts and a huge power slam for another two count. Tensai starts choking the former Kaval against the middle ropes and breaks at a count of four. Albert signals for the Baldo Bomb and connects, covers but lifts Ki's head up at 2 and a half. He mouths "Not yet", and drags Low Ki's limp body to the nearest ropes and goes up to the top! Tensai signals taunts the crowd, but Low Ki hits the ropes in desperation and Albert gets caught. Low Ki slowly climbs to the top rope and hits Warrior's Wrath! Albert is dazed as he falls out of the ropes and Low Ki covers him for the pinfall.
Winner: Low Ki
Backstage Bully Ray is seen on the phone telling someone that as long as his plan is followed then everything will be fine.
JBL comes out and says that the following contest will be the final quarterfinal match in the NWA SB Heavyweight title tournament, the finals of which will take place at Christmas Chaos on December 23rd at the American Airlines Arena, and will be a Lumberjack Match. After the match the four winners will need to meet in the ring for a commandment handed down from the (wrestling) God himself. As Ultramantis Black and Kevin Steen make their way to the ring, the announce team wonders what kind of announcement will be made that includes the winners of all four quarterfinal matches.
Match Number Five UltraMantis Black vs. Kevin Steen
Every member of the NWA roster surrounds the ring and the Sydals look angrily at the All Night Express who just flash cocky smiles back. This was a standard paint-by-numbers lumberjack match. Kevin Steen shifts his weight and counters the Praying Mantis bomb into the F-Cinq for the win.
Winner: Kevin Steen
After the match Low Ki and Christopher Daniels enter the ring to congratulate Steen on his victory while Bully looks on with a weirdly smug smile on his face. JBL comes out to the stage looking very impressed.
JBL: *applauding* Very good gentlemen very good. That's the kind of competition I expect to see every week out of this roster. You four are the best talent that NWA South Beach has to offer. I called the NWA Board of Directors before the main event and issued an open challenge to them: The my four semi-finalists against one member each from California Pro, Windy City, East Coast and Hybrid Pro. In order to prepare you for War Games, the main event of our next event will be the four of you taking on each other in a four way elimination match. On the 30th of November at Fall Brawl, we will march into Philadelphia, go to war, and take what is rightfully ours: CONTROL OF THE NWA!
The iPPV goes off with Bully Ray smirking and the announcers putting over the colossal decision by JBL on South Beach's first night.
