The show started out with highlights from the previous day's show and ended with Scott Steiner's attack mid-match on Matt Hardy that led to the Hardy's losing the CPW Tag Title match. Scott came out and said that he did to Matt yesterday what he should have done to Matt months ago, and that was to kick in his freaking teeth! Scott went on to run Hardy down in verbal tirade, that at times went off course. As Scott was winding down, Masato Tanaka made his way to the ring and told Steiner in clear English that hew was going to kick his ass! Steiner backed down a bit, only then to jump Tanaka from behind as the fans booed as Steiner's cowardliness. Security pulled them apart as Tommy Dreamer said they would meet tonight! Tanaka said that Steiner's blood was on him (pointing to Dreamer), while Setiner tried to get out of the match

Prior to this match, Cody, came out with Trevor Murdoch. Cody said that tonight, he would defend his championship against a 'top-notch' opponent. He said that while he "wanted" to face Rhino, the CPW had not made the re-match official yet. He said that Trevor was here to ensure that Rhino was safe, should he come down to ringside, as he didn't want to jeopardize their huge re-match. Cody then called out his opponent .. Apparently, his opponent wasn't who he thought it was as Cody nearly pissed his pants when RVD's music hit and he came through the curtain!
