(Cynthia Moreno interviews the newcomer Rico Sanchez.)
Cynthia - For those who don't know him, my guest was a star in Lucha Libre Extreme before it was merged with NWAMEX. He's been working various independent promotions in Mexico, Japan and Canada since then. Let me introduce Rico Sanchez! Welcome to NWAMEX, Rico!
Rico - Thanks! but in all truthfulness, this isn't actually my first time in NWAMEX.
Cynthia - Oh? Please explain.
Rico - Well, I was the masked wrestler Lucha Suave and was knocked out by Terrible during a NWAMEX show. I was released by Senor Lutteroth when he decided to release me and other recent graduates from the Mexico City training camp. I was a luchadore in Lucha Libre Extreme until it was bought out. I still wanted to beat Terrible in the ring. I faced him again in International Wrestling Revolution Group and was beaten by him again in a mask vs. hair match. I lost the match and my mask. Rather than don a different mask under a different identity, I decided to make the best out of the situation. After retraining for several months, I challenged Terrible in a third match that was hair vs. hair, I finally was able to beat him. He's one tough hombre.
Cynthia - Interesting story. Why would you want to cover a handsome face like yours?
Rico - (laughing) I met my wife Anna after a LLX show after I had lost by mask. I figured that being unmasked was one of the best things I had ever lost. I was able to make what I thought was an embarrassment into something beautiful.
Cynthia - I'd like to meet her some day.
Rico - Well, she's backstage. Come on out, Anna.
Anna - (walking to the set and sitting next to Rico and holding his hand) Thanks, hon. You know how I love being in the limelight.
Cynthia - Welcome to my show, Anna!
Anna - Thanks!
Cynthia - Please let us know exactly how you two met.
Anna - I'll be happy to. I was the lead singer for a band. I was given a front row seat for a LLX show and was amazed at how the luchadores and luchadoras keep the fans excited. It was my first lucha libre card that I had attended and I was eager to meet Rico Sanchez and the other wrestlers. We fell in love. When he lost his mask, he talked with me over a candle light dinner and said that he wanted to court me. I agreed and soon realized that the life of a luchadore was tough. He spent a lot of time away from our hometown of Monterrery. One time when LLX came to our city, Rico asked me to marry him. I said "yes" and soon afterwards we were married. We now have two wonderful twin daughters. We get to travel wherever Rico goes. It's been exciting for me to get the chance to see Rico perform in the ring. I'm learning the Lucha Libre is a beautiful art form that's an important part of Mexican culture.
Cynthia - That was a nice story. How old are your daughters now?
Anna - They're five months old now.
Cynthia - Well, it's been good having you both on my show.
Rico - Thanks! It's been good being here.
Cynthia - Best wishes to you and your future endeavors here in NWAMEX. When's your first match?
Rico - Sometime in November. I have the honor to team with Marco Corleone and Shocker in my debut match.
Cynthia - This is Cynthia Moreno signing off for "Living Legends of Lucah Libre". I hope see you all in October when we travel to Miami for NWA Fall Brawl and Detroit for Noche del Diablo!

(Cynthia Moreno, Marco Corleone and Octagon are present for Manami Toyota signing a full-time contract with NWAMEX. There are several reporters there taking pictures and filming the event.)
Cynthia Moreno - Welcome to NWAMEX, Toyota San!
Manami Toyota - You'll be my co-worker so there's no need for such formalities. Just call me "Manami".
(Several reporters are anxiously waiting for Manami Toyota to speak to the crowd.)
Manami - It's good to get such a warm welcome here in Mexico. I'll be happy to ask whatever questions you might have.
Reporter # 1 - Senora Toyota, How does this effect your match against Kana later this month?
Manami - Not really that much. Rather than facing her as a free agent, the match has effectively become an inter-promotional one.
Reporter #2 - Will you be involved in the "Noche del Diablo" IPPV?
Manami - Perhaps. I haven't been booked for a match on the card. We'll see what happens.
Reporter #3 - Will you join a faction in NWAMEX?
Manami - Not at this time. I'm just trying to get settled in before I consider joining a group.
Reporter #4 - If given a choice, who would you face in your first match?
Manami - Hmmm..There's so many talented luchadoras in NWAMEX but I'd have to go with Ayako Hamada for my debut match.
Reporter #5 - If you win the NWA World Women's title would you defend it in Mexico?
Manami - Well, it's an international title controlled by JPP so I'd defend it where ever the bookers decide. Well, if you'll excuse me, I need to get settled into my new home and find a good gym to workout in.
(As she leaves, the reporters follow her to he car, hoping to get a chance to ask more questions. Manami just smiles drives away.)

(Cynthia Moreno interviews Manami Toyota in a another episode of "Living Legends of Lucha Libre".)
Cynthia - it's a pleasure to have you back on my show, Minami!
Manami - That's "Toyota San" to you! I'm sure you are honored to have me back so soon. As well you should be! I'll answer your questions as long as they aren't really stupid!
Cynthia - Um..first of all, I was under the impression that you were going to have a full-time wrestling position here in Mexico.
Manami - I am full-time here as a booker and trainer. That keeps me pretty busy most of the time. Especially all those sorry excuses that try to get into the sport.
Cynthia - So, you aren't going wrestle in NWAMEX?
Manami - With all the drawing power I have, I'm going limit my matches to IPPVs and PPVs. The fans should consider it an honor just to see me put on a wrestling clinic in Mexico at all!
Cynthia - What are your feelings concerning your NWA World Women's Championship Match?
Manami - She's good but I'm better! What has she accomplished to get all the attention? Has she ever fought against thirty competitors who came into the ring one at a time? I've done that. I get sick of people telling me that Kana's got youth on her side! I've got a huge experience edge. The quality of opposition that I've faced over the years proves that I deserve to be the NWA World Women's Champion. The only reason the Championship at all is because I never bothered to challenge her until now.
Cynthia - Well, it will be an interesting match for sure.
Manami - Now that's the dumbest thing you've said during this interview! You know I'm going win!

(Cynthia Moreno interviews Rico Sanchez in Miami, Florida a few hours before NWA Fall Brawl PPV goes onn the air.)
Cynthia - Glad you have you back on my show. You said that you have an announcement to make. Is Anna pregnant again?
Rico - No, that would be way too soon. The twins aren't even a year old. I'd just like to announce the formation of a new force to be reckoned with. They are Los Jóvenes Halcones (*The Young Hawks*)!!
(Diamante, Mistico II, Ludark Shaitan and Sexi Lady walk onto the set.)
Cynthia - Wow! The four of you as a team?
Rico - Actually, there will be five of us. I have the honor to be the leader of these rookies.
Mistico II - It was an obvious choice since you are the most experienced of us all.
Rico - you were my pick to lead us but it's an unexpected honor to be chosen over you.
Mistico II - You don't need to be so modest. You're a golden gloves boxing champion and have been in the sport of lucha libre for 10 years now.
Rico - Well, I'm the only one of us who's lost their mask....
Diamante - It took the former Mexican Heavyweight Champion El Terrible to do it! You put up one hell of a fight!
Ludark - That's for sure!
Sexi - And Rey Bucanero had to help El Terrible to win!
Cynthia - I'm looking forward to seeing you all in action. When will you debut as a team?
Rico - The three of us guys and the two girls are making open challenges for the undercard of "Noche del Diablo" on October 30th. We'll face any three guys or two girls from anywhere in the NWA that want to face us.
Cynthia - Detroit would be a great place for your debut. If no one outside of Mexico accept your challenge, I'll book some teams to face you.
Rico - Thanks!

(Julia Sanchez shows up on Mexican TV to introduce herself.)
Julia - Hi! I'm Julia Sanchez! I'm considered to be the best singer/actress by my fans in Mexico. Now, that my older brother, Rico is a part of the NWAMEX roster, I'm bringing my talents here to help him in any way that I can and will manage Ludark Shaitan and Sexi Lady in their debut match against Natsuki*Taiyo y Syuri. Now before you think my presence at ringside is worthless, know that Rico is training me in lucha libre and I'm a fast learner! I already jhas the Ricoplex and Super Ricoplex downpat and I'm working on my own wrestling style. If you don't believe me, just try me! Natsuki*Taiyo y Syuri, if you don't heed my warning, you'll be the first victims of the Super Ricoplex! I'm not a singer trained in the wrestling. I'm a wrestler who can sing! But don't take my word for it. I'll let everyone judge for themselves when I have my wrestling debut in November. See you!

(Cynthia Moreno hosts a video segment with a Chinese man dressed in a robe.) Cynthia - Thanks for joining my show. Tonight, my special guest comes all the way to China. He's a Kung Fu master in San Da. His name is Shen Kuang Tai! Kwang Tai - Thanks for inviting me here. I'm not sure what I've done to deserve this kind of attention. Cynthia - Well, first of all, you're the first pure martial artist who has decided to try out to compete in NWAMEX. Shangheng - Well, actually I'm the second. Let me introduce a good friend of mine....Song Lin! (She walks onto the set and bows to Cynthia and Shangheng before she sits down.) Lin - It's a great honor to be here. Cynthia - So tell me, will you be tecnicos or rudos? Kwang Tai - Tecnicos. We would bring shame on our teachers and ancestors to cheat to win. Cynthia - Will you join one of the established groups? Kwang Tai- No, we have quite a bit of experience in fighting one on one. Perhaps someday we will join in a few trios matches but that's not for certain. Cynthia - Could you give us a demonstration your fighting style? Kwang Tai - Sure thing. (Both of the Chinese martial artists stand up and bow to each other. They attack and block each other's strikes. He takes her to the floor. She spins to get back on her feet. He follows suit and gets kicks directly in the head. They stop fighting and bow to each other again.) Cynthia - Wow! That's quite a display of your fighting ability. I look forward to seeing both of you in the ring. Kwang Tai- Thank you. We'll try not to disappoint you when we debut in November.

(Ayumi Kurihara appeared on "Living legends of Lucha Libre" by herself. The lights are dimmed and there is just a black background.)
"I have a special announcement for my fans. It's been great competing in JPP and for NWAMEX. I've had several five star matches and won the Mexican Women's Championship on multiple occasions. After consulting with my physican, I have decided that it's time for me to hang up my boots. I don't want to wind up like Sabu and even worse Dynamite Kid and not be able to stay active outside of the ring. The silver lining is that I'm engaged to be married! We haven't set a date yet. We were planning on formally announcing our engagement on an earlier date but he insisted that I let you know on my own. You will meet him in the future. That's if he ever getting over being shy in front of the camera. We've been friends for many years so it was a surprise that I had hoped would happen between us. Inn short, I'm retiring to get married and to avoid any crippling injuries. I wish Fabi Apache the best as she defends the Mexican Women's Championship."

(Cynthia Moreno stands on screen to make a special announcement.)
"I'm here in Mexico City in front of Arena Mexico located in downtown Mexico City. The rumors that have been going around are true. Rey Escorpion and Dragon Rojo Jr. have been stripped of the Mexican Tag Team Championship belts for failure to show up for a scheduled title defense. Last we knew, they were defending the California Pro Wrestling Tag Team Championship during several CPW events. They have become an international sensation. Talks have started between CPW and MEX to discuss the interpromotional ramifications of these events. Meanwhile an eight team tournament has been scheduled to fill the vacancy for the Mexican Tag Team Championship. The first round of this tournament will be aired live here in Arena Mexico on December 15th for our "Sin Piedad" IPPV. In addition to thses action packed matches, there will be a special exhibition match between Morphosis and Pegasso Xtreme before the IPPV goes on the air during a televised Lucha Libre MEX broadcast. I look forward to meeting you all then! There will be a special fan fest in the afternoon before the event. Come to meet your favorite wrestlers here! It's gonna be a barn burner!"

(Cynthia Moreno holds this week's episode of "Living Legends of Lucha Libre" with Rey Cometa, Silueta and Estrellita as her guests.)
Cynthia - I'm glad t have you three here tonight.
Cometa - The pleasures is all mine. I'm a thorn between two flowers!
Silueta - (laughing) You're a perfect gentleman. Why would any one call you a thorn?
Estrellita - (smiling) I guess you'll find out soon....
Silueta - Huh? What do you mean?
(Cometa gets a little box out of his jacket and goes down on one knee.)
Cometa - Silueta, would you make me the happiest man in the world and be my wife?
(Silueta starts crying.)
Silueta - You've been so good to me and little Rosa loves you so much but it's so soon.)
(An young girl comes out onto the stage and sits on Silueta's lap.)
Rosa - Mama. If you love him, let him marry you. He'd be a good daddy.
(Silueta cries more and leaves the stage.)
Cometa - That didn't go as well as I hoped. (He started to get up out of his chair. Estrellita takes his hand.)
Estrellita - Just let her have some time for think about it. I'll go and talk to her. Just stay here and go on with the interview.
(Cynthia Moreno wipes away a tear as Estrellita leaves the stage. Once she composes herself, )
Cynthia - Well, Cometa. That's something I'll let you deal with later. Let's change the subject, eh?
Cometa - Yeah. let's talk about my upcoming match with Daniel Bryan.
Cynthia - Yes, that's what we're here for. What are your feelings going into that match?
Cometa - Well, it's a bit overwhelming. Being granted a title shot for the Junior heavyweight Championship of the World is quite an honor. Win or lose, this will be a match that could really help my career take off!
Cynthia - You've been a dominant champion since winning the Mexican Light Heavyweight Championship.
Cometa - Thanks. I've got to be on the top of my game for this one. I'd like to raise the stakes on this one. Daniel Bryan, you are one of the best wrestlers in the world. Having the opportunity to face you is quite an honor. With both of us being strong competitors, I'd like us to have our match be fought in best of three falls fashion using traditional lucha libre rules. We'll be in contact later and we'll discuss the details and sign the contract officially. I'm sure we'll be able to reach an agreement. Well, Cynthia, I've got to go. Thanks for inviting me. (Cometa gets up and walks offstage as Cynthia follows him as the lights fade.)

(Cynthia Moreno interviews the unknown masked luchadore calling himself "WHO")
Cynthia Moreno - Tonight, we are live from Hong Kong. Last night, we interviewed Rey Cometa but weren't able to get a word with Silueta or Estrellita. Here is my special guest, WHO!
(WHO has a sketch pad and a marker in his hand. He writes all of his responses as Cynthia interviews him.)
WHO - Thanks for inviting me!
Cynthia - I've been wondering all day WHY you showed up at our hotel room last night.
WHO - WHY's my brother. WHO was there, not WHY! (rolling his eyes) WHO was there.
Cynthia - YOU were there!
WHO- No, WHO's sister YOU was at home.
Cynthia - (getting a bit annoyed) Ok, then WHY was WHO there?
WHO - No, WHY is WHO's brother. WHO was the only one there.
Cynthia - WHO wanted to do WHAT?
WHO - WHAT is WHO's cousin. WHO went there to steal a kiss from Marcela! DUH!!
Cynthia - I think Mima was right when she said you were a psychofan! You won't even bother talking when I invited to be on my show.
WHO - WHO said that WHO could even speak? WHO doesn't need vocal cords to steal a kiss.
Cynthia - So are you an actual luchadore or are you just dressing like one to steal kisses?
WHO - WHO said WHO stole more than one kiss? WHO just stole one. The rest were given to WHO for free. Why do you want to talk with WHO if you don't like WHO is?
Cynthia - WHO are you?
WHO - That's WHO's name. Don't wear WHO's name out!
Cynthia - WHY do you always speak in third person?
WHO- WHY's WHO's brother. WHY never speaks in third, just first.
Cynthia - (getting really annoyed) Get this Psycho off my show now!
(Some Security Guards come in and drag WHO away.)
WHO - Hey! Let go of WHO's arms! This is an infringement on WHO's freedom to speak freely.
Guard - Freedom of speech is becoming a thing of the past, buddy! You're in China now....
WHO - And THEY must be illiterate because WHO already told that YOU is WHO's sister!!!
(The guards take away his paper and marker and throw them in the trash as they leave.)
