The Only Solution opens up to a quiet arena with the image of William "Paul Bearer" Moody on the titan tron. A twelve bell salute is played to honor his memory as the entire NWA South Beach roster comes out to pay their respects.
A video package highlighting the last few shows appears, and the pyro goes off inside a crowded UCF Convocation Center in Orlando, Florida. Steve McMichael and Matt Striker run down the card highlighted by the main event: the 2nd round of the NWA North American Title Tournament where Dolph Ziggler, fresh off his heart stopping win in the cage last week against Adam Cole, will face a very hungry Drew McIntyre.
Match Number 1: TJ Perkins vs. Damien Sandow
Both men are making their NWA South Beach debuts here as Perkins comes down first to a nice reaction. Perkins stands in the ring and starts to do a little dance as "Harlem Shake" starts playing. The song gets to "and do the..."
*SILENCE!*
Damien Sandow approaches the ring holding his mic like a wine glass.
Sandow: Enough of this foolishness! I was brought into this disgusting den of inequity to wrestle, not shake my body in a seizuric fashion while terrible techno music plays in the background. In a way, Mr. Perkins, you are perhaps the perfect person to face me this evening; for you embody these people absolutely. You all choose to gyrate grotesquely to music using props that would make Satan shake his head in shame instead of steadfastly pursuing betterment at the local library, college classes, or even by watching the nightly news. Seeing this display has made me physically ill and I am therefore not able to perform at peak efficiency. *crowd boos* Thank you for your obnoxious opinion. Is this any way to treat your Deity of Decency? I am the Vanquisher of the Vulgar, the Duke of Decorum, and your Intellectual Idol! *crowd boos harder* Please be quiet when I speak! *Crowd chants: "SHUT THE F*** UP!" repeatedly* That's it! I'm leaving! I will make my debut when you all have shown that you deserve it! It will be then that so help me God I will lead you on the path to enlightenment! You're Welcome!
Sandow leaves as Perkins stands in the ring wondering what just happened and the announce team wonders if Sandow will ever debut if those are his standards.
Match Number 2: Jessicka Havok vs. Mercedes Martinez (2 out of 3 falls match to crown the first ever NWA South Beach Women's champion)
Both women know each other so well from their battles around the world and it shows as neither woman can gain an early advantage. Mercedes manages to surprise Havok with a Bull Run and takes the first fall!
Mercedes up 1-0
Havok screams in rage as the crowd chants for Mercedes. Havok goes on the offensive and starts brutalizing Martinez earning several reprimands from the ref. Havok picks Martinez up....Demon Drop! Havok has tied up the match.
Bout tied 1-1
The ref separates the two combatants and makes sure Mercedes is okay. The two ladies lock up and Mercedes actually manages to take control of the match. Martinez with a snap suplex, picks up Havok and hits a german. Martinez is on a roll, points to the sky and hooks Havok....Three Amigas! As Martinez hits the german to complete the trio Allysin Kay and Sassy Stephanie come down! The Midwest Militia has invaded South Beach! Kay distracts the ref and Stephanie hits Kiss my Sass! Stephanie bails from the ring and the ref turns around in time to see Jessicka pick up Mercedes and hit the HavoKiller! The crowd boos as Havok covers to pick up the victory.
Winner: Jessicka Havok
Post match Havok and the other members of the Midwest Militia celebrate in the middle of the ring with Havok screaming "Who's going to take this from me?" repeatedly
Match Number 3: Kevin Steen and Super Dragon vs. NWA South Beach Champion "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels and Kazarian
As both teams enter the ring the announcer reminds everyone what will happen if Kazarian and Daniels lose noting that it's a lose-lose situation for Daniels. Both teams let it all hang out in this match as a shot at the South Beach title hangs in the balance. Kaz and Daniels start working better as a team, nearly getting the win on several occasions. Late in the match Steen receives a hot tag from Dragon and cleans house. JBL comes down trying to stop the match. The distraction ends up backfiring as Steen hits the F-Cinq for the three!
Winner: Appetite for Destruction
Post match Luke Gallows and the Dudleys come down with chairs and Gallows nails Super Dragon in the back. Steen goes over to check on his partner which allows the Dudleys and Daniels to ambush him. Daniels grabs a barbed wire 2x4 from under the ring as Devon chop blocks Steen's right knee. Ray takes his chair and repeatedly rams Steen's knee into it. Daniels starts raking the barbed wire across Steen's forehead. Daniels grabs his South Beach title as the camera in the back shows JBL blocking the locker room from going out and saving Kevin under the threat of termination. Back in the ring Bully has placed a figure four on Steen who is screaming through the blood cascading down his face. Daniels spits in Steen's face and grabs a mic....oh good lord who gave him a mic?
Daniels: *puts the belt in Steen's face* YOU SEE THIS STEEN? YOU'RE NEVER GETTING A SHOT AT MY BELT! YOU WILL NEVER BE AS GOOD AS ME! Let him go Ray. *Ray disengages the figure four* DO YOU SEE THIS SUICIDE? *wipes his left hand across a barely conscious Steen's face and holds it up to the crowd* THIS BLOOD IS ON YOUR HEAD YOU COWARDLY CUNT! COME OUT AND FACE ME LIKE A MAN!......DAMMIT SUICIDE WHERE ARE YOU! WHO ARE YOU? FUCK! Devon pick him up. *Daniels hits Angel's Wings on a chair* See you April 1st Kevin.....if you survive til then.
The Trinity and Gallows leave the ring allowing the medical crew to check on Steen and Dragon as Mongo and Striker are speechless.
Match Number 4: Rey Bucanero, El Terrible, Dragon Rojo Jr, y Ultimo Guerrero (w/Eiko, Atlantis y Tiger) vs. PAC, Amazing Red, James Storm and Matt Sydal (w/NWA South Beach Tag Team Champions The All Night Express)
Solid match between both eight guys trying to make names for themselves in the tag team division. Late in the match Ultimo Guerrero and James Storm are battling when PAC, Red and Sydal start battling Dragon, Bucanero and Terrible outside the ring. The ensuing distraction allows BROCK LESNAR to sneak in and hit an F5 on Guerrero! Storms goes over to Lesnar who says "this is not your fight". Storm looks down at Dragon, shrugs, and covers for the win.
Winners: Team South Beach
Backstage, trainers are checking on Steen's knee and head as Super Dragon watches, concerned.
Doctor: I'm sorry Kevin but your knee is going to take some time to heal and you've lost a lot of blood. You won't be facing anybody anytime soon.
Steen: *laughing* That's okay doc. I already had a backup plan in case those pussies tried to do anything to me after Dragon and I whupped their asses. *motions to the door* Come on in.
Suicide walks in!
Steen: Now Suicide, I can't just give you this title shot without a good reason; after all Dragon here deserves a shot at Christopher's bitch ass almost as much as I do, plus how do I know that you aren't secretly in JBL's pocket? I need a show of good faith Suicide, plain and simple. Go take out Gallows, Devon, or Bully. Go attack JBL. Do something to show me that I'm making the right decision here.
Suicide: I'll do better than that.
The camera is behind Suicide as he lifts the front of his mask.
Steen: *laughing* Buddy you got yourself a title shot. *looks at Super Dragon* I guess it really was the only solution huh?
Match Number 5: SJK and Sami Callahan vs. Ricky Reyes and Michael Elgin
Keenan and Callahan were the better team in this one having teamed for longer, but Reyes and Elgin were more than up to the task at hand. Late in the match everyone from TOXIC but Moxley and Fish comes out, letting Callahan roll up Reyes for a near fall. As Sami goes to finish of Ricky the rest of Latin America along with Roderick Strong run out to fight off TOXIC! The utter chaos at ringside allows Reyes to hit a brain buster for the win!
Winner: Ricky Reyes and Michael Elgin
