Drew Cordeiro is our announcer tonight, and he steps into the ring as all of the wrestlers surround him at ringside, the wrestlers and the staff being the only other human beings in the building tonight. Drew explains to the audience what is going on here, as this is far from traditional professional wrestling.
Drew Cordeiro:
I'd like to first of all thank all of the wrestlers here tonight who have agreed to participate in this sort of experiment, as we try to forge forward and present wrestling as it is, and that is an art form. All of you watching this from home, know that these men right here, they are the most passionate group of individuals you will find in the sport of professional wrestling, and the goal here is to present the absolute best wrestling these men can offer... not for the money or the fame, but because they love what they do and they want to prove themselves and their contemporaries that they are among the best in the world at their craft. We hope this will be a platform to launch careers, but also help wrestlers learn and grow.
"LET US WRESTLE!" chant begins, and Drew waves his hand downward, smiling.
Drew Cordeiro:
Alright, alright, we have an awesome line-up, so... up first, Arik and Dan. Let's see what you've got. You all have your copies of the card, so if you're up after them, you can start getting ready over in the back there.
"The Anarchist" Arik Cannon vs. Dan Maff
Both of these men like to utilize the Burning Hammer to finish their matches, but it never even came to that, as what we saw here was a very vicious strong style encounter, consisting of many, many chops. Both men come in at 5'07", which is short, but Maff is about 260 lbs., giving him a big time weight advantage and he was able to use it to his advantage. The burning spirit just seem to be flowing in these guys, as they just wouldn't back down, fighting and chopping one another into the crowd, making for a compelling brawl. Maff would try to use a series of Lariats to finish this, hitting one, then another, but on the third, Cannon would slip under and hook his arms, taking him over with a Backslide and using that weight against him, as he held his shoulders down for the flash three count!
Drew Cordeiro:
Oh man! Maff looked like he had that in the bag, but Cannon sneaks in through the back door and he couldn't be happier! Both men took a beating, but now Cannon sports a very satisfied smirk as Maff kicks and punches the ropes and buckles, oh, and he's even threatening the referee! Show some class, Maff!
Dan Maff:
How about I stick my boot up your ass, you fat fuck? And Cannon, smile all you want now, I got you... I got you, motherfucker.
From the back of the gym comes Drake Younger, followed by Bobby Beverly. Younger points to his opponents tonight.
Drake Younger:
Listen, boys, I've been in this business a lot of years. I've had my ass kicked in more countries than I have fingers on both my hands, and yet I'm still here. I've kicked a lot of ass in the process, though, don't get me wrong, and that's what I'm here to say tonight. I'm here to say that I'm ready to take full advantage of this, and I'm warning you, I'm warning you guys, I just met you, Dustin, and Shane Hollister, I've known you a couple years... I'm gonna hurt you if you come in here. You guys aren't gettin' paid jackshit, and you want to risk your careers right now? I mean, I'm telling that any one of you, I'm a killer in this ring. My family, they eat cause Drake Younger is a blood thirsty motherfucker, and I'm taking home a pound of flesh with me tonight, so... because I like you guys, I genuinely do, please, walk away. Grab your little bags over there and live to make $25 somewhere else... I already got paid, I can leave right now and they can suck a dick, I don't want to hurt a couple of kids who are paying to be here. Just walk away.
Rayz and Hollister smile at each other and nod, and act like they are coming into the ring to shake Younger's hand.
Dustin Rayz:
Man, thanks, I was really worried about tonight...
Rayz pulls Younger into a clothesline!
Dustin Rayz:
... and me makin' your wife a WIDOW, YOU PIECE OF SHIT! YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT'S ABOUT TO HAPPEN TO YOU!
And so the match begins.
Bobby Beverly & "The Golden Boy" Drake Younger vs. "Bionic" Dustin Rayz & Shane Hollister
Rayz goes apeshit on Younger, trying pull his face apart with his nails and blasting him with elbows on the mat, harassing him the entire time. Hollister and Beverly are having a very spirited fight on the outside, showing their agility and punishing one another with some kicks and flips. Beverly gets Hollister back in the ring, slingshotting in and dropping an elbow on him. Rayz tries to go after Beverly, but Beverly ducks under and swings him around, nailing a Complete Shot, followed by a Shining Cutter! The referee counts, but only a two. Rayz and Hollister manage to take advantage from here, frequently tagging and keeping on a quick assault, Hollister nailing two big dives to the outside, prompting the other wrestlers to chant "MORE SPOTS! MORE SPOTS!" Younger would then dive through the ropes after nailing Rayz with a Backdrop Driver, getting a cheer from the fans. Younger would go on to hit a sickening Cradle Tombstone Piledriver on Hollister on the outside, putting him out for a good while. Beverly and Younger proceed to beat the Hell out of Dustin Rayz, making him bleed in the process, but Rayz just wouldn't stop rolling his shoulder and fighting back. Something would click in Beverly after Rayz kicked out of an Emerald Flowsion. Rayz would try to pick himself up in the corner, but Beverly would just start VIOLENTLY stomping him in the corner, repeatedly, trying to cave in his skull! Finally, the referee would manage to separate him from Rayz, but it looked like the damage was done. Beverly would pull him out, thinking it was over, but in flew Hollister with a Springboard Dropkick to Younger! Hollister would then kick Beverly off of Rayz, grabbing him and nailing a German Suplex! Hollister would hurry and run up the buckles, flying off with a Sidewinder Kick to Younger, taking him down to all fours, before dropkicking Beverly out of the ring! Younger would get up and try attack Hollister, would to get caught with a quick Enzuigiri, followed by a bridging Tiger Suplex! What a flurry by Hollister, which gets the other wrestlers at ringside on their feet, some coming up and slapping the mat, as the referee counts to three!
Drew Cordeiro:
Shane Hollister steps up big time! Beverly brutalized Rayz there, and it looked to be over, but man, Hollister cleaned house like nobody's business, and got the three count! What a showing from the Iowa native tonight, especially after taking that Tombstone on the floor!
ACH vs. "The Elite Athlete" Anthony Nese vs. Quiet Storm vs. "The All Around Best" Xavier
This match deteriorated into an all out brawl early, as everyone involved ended up fighting around the outside area early on, brawling with a purpose. Xavier and Storm go at it, while ACH and Nese brawl on the other side. ACH was able to do a back flip off the turnbuckle after a Nese whip, nailing a Back Elbow to Nese afterward to get a big pop from the other wrestlers. Back in the ring, ACH would nail a Dragon Suplex, only getting a two count as Storm broke it up. Quiet Storm would hit a Full Nelson into a DDT, then headed up top, only to get caught by Xavier with a Running Jumping Roundhouse Kick, followed by a Superplex! Nese would catch Xavier with a Thrust Kick, sending him flying back into the buckles, followed by a huge Running Knee Attack! ACH goes on to catch Nese with a Swinging Headscissors, followed by a Drop Toe Hold to hang him up on the middle rope. ACH runs, crotch smashing the back of Nese' head and sending him flying back, but ACH grabs the top rope as he flies through and skims the cat, pulling himself up and over before hitting a Quebrada! Absolutely amazing stuff! He only gets a two, as Xavier breaks it up, pulling ACH into a Half Nelson Suplex! After more intense back and forth action, Nese tries to catch ACH in the corner with a Running High Kick, but ACH dodges it, hanging Nese' leg up in the ropes. ACH pulls him backwards, locking on a Reverse Headlock and hooking the leg, pulling him back and spinning him with a sort of Swinging Inverted Fisherman's Buster, which he is able to hang onto and get the very hard earned three count!
Drew Cordeiro:
ACH with a huge victory there! The other wrestlers are all going wild, as that was a very impressive showing. Tough match for everyone, a really great display.
Curt Hawkins & Matt Justice vs. "The Voice of Reason" Eric Ryan & Rickey Shane Page
Hawkins and Justice had an overall size advantage here, though the former Christian Faith, Rickey Shane Page, is 6'04" and 260 lbs., and can move like the most agile of small men. Hawkins and Justice started off very good early, working over the smaller Ryan, but Ryan would use his speed to avoid an Avalanche Splash from Justice and make the tag to Page, who flies off the top with a Senton Bomb attack, followed by a Corkscrew Roundhouse Kick on Hawkins to turn the tide! From there, Ryan and Page do Front Flip Suicide Dives in stereo, getting a big reaction from the ringside wrestlers! "PAGE! PAGE! PAGE!" chants can be heard, as these guys are all just super impressed by the way this bigger athlete moves. To end the match, Ryan comes off the top to drive a Double Stomp into the back of Justice's head, followed by a Springboard Senton Backsplash from Page, which earns them the three count!
Drew Cordeiro:
Ryan and Page, against all odds, showed their amazing talents here tonight and picked up the pinfall victory! The versatility of these two can not be overstated! Hawkins and Justice made for a very good team, but they just didn't have anything to answer the all out assault of Ryan and Page tonight.
Philly's Most Wanted: "Killadel's Finest" BLK Jeez & "The Cambodian Axe Murderer" Joker vs. "The War King" Eddie Kingston & "The Dark City Soldier" Jon Davis
This was a vicious, brutal fight that, once again, spilled out early, and saw these guys assaulting each other with chairs and ring steps, trying to absolutely massacre one another. Jeez and Joker would bite and claw their opponents like rabid animals, trying to get any kind of advantage they could. Kingston would lead his team to victory though, as the big Jon Davis was able to hang in there and not give up. Kingston was able to win a strong style brawl in the middle of the ring with Joker, who felt he had something big to prove, the wrestlers chanting, "FUCK HIM UP, KINGSTON!" Kingston would kick Joker straight in the face, before delivering the Backfist to the Future, knocking Joker out cold as the bigger and stronger Davis held the most diminutive wreslter in the match, Jeez, down on the outside.
Drew Cordeiro:
What a collision there! Joker may have a concussion after that fist crashed into his skull! These guys left nothing in the ring, bringing it all tonight, and Kingston and Davis survive the onslaught of Philly's Most Wanted!
Facade & Jason Gory vs. Irish Airborne: Dave & Jake Crist
This was just an amazing tag team match, which did have some blown spots, but overall, these guys were trying to tear it down. Facade and Gory were playing up the heel portion early, choking and taunting their opponents, but the Crist's showed they could get nasty, lowblowing their opponents in a couple of occasions and dealing it right back. Irish Airborne were the better tandem in many ways, as they had a good amount of tag team offense, while Facade and Gory were very effective in diving from the ring and using lucha libre to keep the Irish a little off kilter. Gory would get sent out of the ring by a Spear from Jake Crist, followed by a Spike Tombstone Piledriver to Facade, which Jake hit the Tombstone as Dave flew off the top with a Double Stomp to the buttocks of Facade, which was enough to earn the three count and make a few of the wrestlers jump up in excitement on the outside!
Drew Cordeiro:
Irish Airborne crushes Facade there to end a back and forth battle! These guys brought the high energy, high octane action, and the Irish came out on top tonight!
"The Death Machine" Chris Dickinson vs. "The Untamed" Jaka
Dickinson is a very odd individual in his mannerisms and style, but Jaka is perhaps even more unorthodox. These two grew up together in Long Island, traveling the roads together for years and learning the ropes together. This match was very personal, as Dickinson has become a star and is all attitude, while Jaka shows his heart throughout, and verbalizes that he should be a star too. It's hard to argue against that, as both men exchange many holds and reversals, Jaka showing his formidable skills. Jaka also has a very hard head and uses it to headbutt Dickinson multiple different ways, the most effective being a Rolling Thunder Headbutt which had the wrestlers on the outside clapping and cheering for him. Dickinson would lock Jaka into the Stretch Plum after a violent barrage and a Uranage Suplex, but Jaka manages to break free after getting to the ropes. Jaka nails a Uranage Slam to sort of pay Dickinson a receipt later on, before heading up top and hitting a Superfly Splash! This gets him a two count. Jaka is able to kick out of a devastating Brainbuster from Dickinson, surprising everyone. Dickinson attempts the Brain Eater, but Jaka escapes, nailing a big Enzuiigir before locking on the Jaws of the Jaguar (Double Wrist-Clutch Leg Choke), which Dickinson is trapped in and doesn't have an answer for. The referee sees him fading, and has to call it! Jaka with a huge win!
Drew Cordeiro:
Oh my God! Jaka overcomes his childhood friend and greatest rival, Chris Dickinson, in an amazing encounter here! Dickinson just could not overcome that chokehold! Dickinson is coming to here, and he's back to his feet. Dickinson offers the handshake... .... and Jaka accepts! What a classy showing here!
AR Fox vs. Samuray Del Sol
This was truly a battle of agility that had everybody around the ring watching intently. These two are among the most touted young stars on the indie circuit today, and it was easy to see why, as they traded hold after hold, counter after counter, and would just strike and fly with such skill and grace that you couldn't help but be drawn in. Samuray Del Sol would manage to hold on and block the Lo-Mein Pain (Jumping Sit-Out Spanish Fly) and nail a DragonRana, but only got a two count! He would be hit with the Fox Cutter and survive, blocking a Krytonite Krunch and nailing a Phoenix Plex (Bridging Package Powerbomb) for a huge three count!
Drew Cordeiro:
Samuray Del Sol took Fox down with his crazy Package Powerbomb variation in a match where it could have gone either way! Amazing showing from both men, but Del Sol just seemed to be one step ahead of Fox throughout and it got him the major victory.
Aeroform: Flip Kendrick & Louis Lyndon vs. Batiri: Kodama & Obariyon vs. Up In Smoke: Cheech & Cloudy vs. Young Buck$: "Mr. Instant Replay" Matt Jackson & "Slick" Nick Jackson
The Young Buck$ were on fire here tonight, as were Aeroform and Up In Smoke. The Batiri were able to provide pretty good targets for their opponents, with Kodama and Obariyon each able to get in a high impact move or two. Cheech and Cloudy were able to eliminate The Batiri after nailing Koama with the Partly Cloudy with a Chance of Cheech (Tiger feint kick by Cloudy with a Running Dropkick from Cheech) to knock them out of the picture. Up In Smoke were they eliminated after Flip Kendrick pinned Cheech after a 630 Backflip Legdrop, which was kind of botched but served its purpose, not without some of the wrestlers yelling out comments about it. The Jacksons were able to finish things up after Nick nailed a Superkick on Kendrick, followed by a Dropkick to Lyndon/Standing Moonsault to Kendrick from Matt. Lyndon flew out of the ring, leading Matt to run and hit a Suicide Dive through the ropes onto him, sending him into the seats where the wrestlers are sitting. Nick goes on hit a Quebrada on Kendrick before pulling him over to the turnbuckles. Nick then hits a Moonsault from the middle turnbuckle, which Matt was already up top and he hits a big time 450 Splash, and that's it! It's all over! The wrestlers are all going crazy, as these guys are just so smooth, it's really remarkable.
Drew Cordeiro:
Ladies and gentlemen, the Young Buck$ show why they are one of the best tag teams in the world, right there. Aeroform looked good throughout, but the Jackson brothers are just too smooth and too experienced to be stopped here tonight.
"The Exiled Archangel" Azrieal vs. "The Strong Style Thug" B-Boy vs. Trent Barreta
This match started out pretty slow, as these guys all wanted to feel each other out and make a great impression. Azrieal and Barreta would join forces against B-Boy early, beating him in the buckles and sending him to the outside. Azrieal was then able to turn the tables on Barreta, attacking him from behind and choking him viciously, before pounding him into the mat with rapid fire right hands. The wrestlers are booing him as he taunts them, telling them to bring it on! Barreta battles back with right hands and a big Calf Kick, followed by a Springboard Back Elbow, which got him a two count. B-Boy made his way back into this with wicked chops and low kicks, nailing a Belly to Belly Suplex to send Barreta to the outside, before nailing a Dropkick through the ropes to the outside! Azrieal dives through the ropes onto B-Boy, blasting him with fists as they hit the ground, showing his tenacity and will to win. Barreta would be manage to nail a Double Springboard DDT on his opponents to turn things around for him, getting a huge pop from the wrestlers! He then went up top and hit a Front Missile Dropkick on B-Boy, sending him off to the outside to catch his breath. Barreta grabs Azrieal, trying to hit a Swinging DDT off the ropes, but Azrieal hits a Northern Lights Suplex, rolling it into a Cross Armbar! Barreta gets to the ropes, breaking it. Azrieal gets a near fall after a Diamond Dust, but B-Boy breaks it up. B-Boy is able to get the win after a violent display, sending Barreta out of the ring with a Running Knee Attack as he was leaning against the bottom rope, followed by a series of brutal Curb Stomps, pulling Azrieal's hair and stomping him three times. Azrieal would kick out of this pin attempt, but wouldn't be able to survive the following Shining Wizard, which was enough to get B-Boy the huge win!
Drew Cordeiro:
B-Boy shows his affinity for brutality, trying to cave in the face of "The Exiled Archangel" there and making a big impact of the wrestlers all around! Barreta tried to hang in there, making a big impression, as well, but neither he nor Azrieal had what it took tonight to overcome the will and rage of the "Strong Style Thug!" Thank you all for purchasing this show, we hope you enjoyed and will join us again soon!
