Usually when the show opens, it's Shaman reading the future events in his spiritual fire. This show however opens with Shaman at Black Ninja's bedside, using a blue liquid poltuce on the eyes of Ninja to draw the black mist from the champions eyes. While Black Ninja sleeps, Shaman works on grinding up a powder reading from the scroll titled, WHITE MIST.
After the opening credits roll, the announcers tell the viewer that the Independent Crown is to be vacated due to the fact that Black Ninja is extremely ill and will not be able to defend his crown for some time to come.
Talon is extremely young and this is his first match, even though Unknown hasn't secured a victory thus far in the Union he is still dangerous. Talon was able to dazzle and impress on lookers with his incredible speed, but Unknown was able to punish Talon for his irratic and unfocused flights. Unknown gave Talon a great lesson in pain as he twisted and tweaked the joints of Talon who spent a good bit of the match screaming in pain. Talon was able to get a gasp from the crowd after getting several rotations of a head scissors but Unknown was able to catch Talon with a slam before working his way into the octopus stretch teaching the young high flyer a painful lesson as he forced the submission! Unknown was excited to capture a win even if it came against a rookie!
Overdose came to the ring with a large scroll smiling as he spit a cloud of green mist in the air on his way to the ring. He's a master of the dark arts and the scroll looked ominous. Overdose would gloat over the fact that his black mist has ended the reign of the Ninja, and without the ebony warrior Overdose is free to unleash his evil arts on the Independent Union. Overdose reads from the scroll and the lights go out and after a few moments the ring posts bellow flames as KAMI makes his debut as the conjuration of Overdoses magic. The lights come back as Overdose grins wickedly admiring his work, but quickly frowns as another new face appears howling from the back.
Overdose slides from the ring directing KAMI to engage the ferocious Mongrel who uses his taped fingertips to scratch and claw. KAMI is a bit taken back by the fervor of Mongrel who continues to charge forward. Overdose looks extremely displeased with his monster who is having serious trouble, Mongrel took KAMI out of the ring with a huge clothesline and tried to follow up with a leap from the top rope. Overdose stepped in at this point spitting the green poison mist into the face of Mongrel making the hound recoil in pain. KAMI was able to control the match from that point, putting the dog down with a stiff kick to Mongrel who was on his knees blinded by the green mist.
The show fades from Overdose smiling a green grin to Dragon King sitting in the locker room with photographers blasting him with pictures as he looks at old photos. King's eyes are full of pain as he looks over the pictures of his childhood friend, now know as Jaguar and himself playing. The photo's are of both men looking to be around 5-7 years of age climbing trees and cook outs with both families mixed in the pictures in extremely outdated clothing. Dragon King makes one last heart felt plea to Jaguar that tonight's deathmatch doesn't have to happen. They could instead shake hands and bring back the friendship lost. The shot cuts to Jaguar who's watching in another locker room, tieing his boots as he stares hard at the screen a moment before going back to gearing up for war!
Apparently the color commentator caught up with Heretic and Scourge asking about their team name DoA. The team has a very lavish and reckless lifestyle, and after one of their parties it's no surprise if you find them the next morning Dead or Alive! Shaolin and Hannibal wore black gear tonight in honor of their friend and ally Black Ninja. Hannibal has really come out of his shell in Independent Union and has become an arrogant good guy, playing to the crowd and fighting "bad guys". Shaolin is the most serious wrestler in the match, occassionally getting annoyed with Hannibal's showboating. Heretic would direct his erratic and vicious ally, Scourge who dealt a lot of damage in this match, with Heretic coming in to continue to exploit any wounds that Scourge would inflict. Annie Maye was on the outside cheering on her team and didn't notice Black Widow sneak towards her until it was too late! Black Widow quickly lit up Annie with kicks, causing Hannibal to rush to her aide. Shaolin was in trouble in the ring as DoA tried to use numbers to get the advantage but Shaolin's poise kept him alive as he sent Scourge to the outside, facing off one on one with Heretic. Hannibal tried to break up the girls but was blindsided by Scourge on the outside as all hell broke loose. Black Heart would step out from behind the curtain to watch on as Shaolin was able to nail a praying powerbomb followed up by the straight jacket camel clutch to force Heretic to submit! Black Heart showed no emotion as he watched the ending of the match, before disappearing back behind the curtain.
The fans would bring the weapons for this match! That was until Jaguar walked out with a bottle of lighter fluid and announced that for this match to end, one of them would have to be put through a flaming table! Dragon King still looked hesitant in the opening of this match trying to just throw basic wrestling holds, no strikes. King tried to talk Jaguar out of the fight again but Jaguar would give King a hard shot to the chin. King staggered into the ropes and Jaguar continued to attack DK with knees and clubbing blows in the ropes. Jaguar would get a broom from a fan at ringside snapping it in half and using the sharp end to gouge and attack the midsection of DK. Jaguar used his tiger driver 98 finisher but instead of trying to get the table prepared, Jag would collect weapons from the crowd, tossing them in the ring making it look like a garbage dump. Dragon King finally started to fight back knowing that his life may depend on it, shocking Jaguar with chops and kicks, coming at Jag with a computer keyboard shattering it over his skull. The atmosphere changed as the Dragon King finally started to show why he is indeed a King. DK would roar "I DON'T WANT TO DO THIS!" before hitting a dragon suplex onto a chair, trying for the pin but the ref would remind DK that he has to put Jaguar through a flaming table! You could see that DK was conflicted, still not ready to go to that extreme. Dragon King instead put on a leg lock variation pleading with Jaguar to just end the match! Jaguar would scream in agony but reach out and grab a kendo stick beating it over the skull of Dragon King repeatedly until the stick was splintered to hell. Welts immediatly formed on the exposed flesh of DK where the stick made contact as Jaguar would bring the table and lighter fluid into the ring. Jaguar nailed another neck jarring Tiger Driver on DK, giving him time to light the table on fire! Jaguar looked at the flames in a bit of a blood lust trance, not realizing that Dragon King had gotten up with a chair, leaning against the ropes for support. Jaguar would turn into a chairshot from hell, Dragon with tears in his eyes would yell "I'M SORRY" before hitting a powerbomb on Jaguar through the table as ringside crew members would rush in to put Jaguar out. Dragon King would drop to his knees in physical and emotional exhaustion as EMT's would bring out a stretcher to take Jaguar away as DK would try to follow to make sure Jaguar was going to be ok.
Powder Keg is a dirty ugly and mean bastard who's always inflicted pain and has never suffered a loss in anything. He grew up in a trailer park in southern new jersey and had to fight and win for everything he's ever gotten. The Claw however is a masked man who seemingly feels no pain, no regret and never stops until he's beaten whoever stands against him to a bloody pulp. Powder Keg would come out with staff freaking out as he weilded a machete. The ropes of the ring were already replaced with loose hanging barbed wire, but Keg would go for the bungie cords holding the canvas, cutting them off. The crowd was stunned as Keg would pull the canvas and padding off the ring leaving just the plywood sheets. Keg would finally hand the machete over pulling out a bag of tacks laying it in his corner as he waited for Claw. The Claw would bring a board covered in steel rivet gusset plates! This match wouldn't be for the faint of heart as Powder Keg has been telling the media for weeks that he plans to finally defeat Claw and capture the deathmatch title or die trying. The way this match looked it could very well be the latter. The match was ultraviolent with every slam being amplified by the fact that the ring was without padding, with the softest part being the plywood atleast covering the metal beams under neath. The match looked bad for Powder Keg who would get slammed on the gusset plate, screaming in agony as the board stuck to his back. Claw would follow up painfully sandwiching Keg in the corner with the board still attached. Claw has yet to really show any pain in this company and it looked like tonight would be no different as Keg was already soaked in blood. Powder Keg had to dig down deep attacking Claw with everything, the sight of his own blood pushing him to another level as he planted Claw onto the board with a ring shaking belly to belly suplex! Keg would go for his bag of tacks spreading them around the ring, as they glistened in the lights. Powder Keg would muster up the strength to powerbomb Claw putting the deathmatch champion down onto tacks! Powder Keg thought he had a moment to breath but Claw would sit up his back littered with tacks. Powder Keg would belt out a battle cry as he lifted and drove Claw into and through the barbed wire "ropes" ripping them down as both men landed into a pile of light tubes on the outside! The smoke and glass was spectacular as the crowd was in stunned silence as both men layed in a heap of blood and glass. Powder Keg would try to powerbomb Claw back into the pile of broken glass but Claw would power out flipping Keg back into the ring, clubbing the chest of Keg as he hung almost lifeless off the edge of the ring. Claw is the thing of nightmares as even through all the punishment he's still coming, while Powder Keg is hanging in the match with everything he's got. Claw would climb into the ring looking to chokeslam Powder Keg back out of the ring into the pile of glass at ringside but Powder Keg would fight out knowing that he wouldn't survive the fall. Powder Keg would however hit a piledriver out of the ring into the glass and somehow was able to pin Claw long enough to finally capture the Deathmatch championship!
After the opening credits roll, the announcers tell the viewer that the Independent Crown is to be vacated due to the fact that Black Ninja is extremely ill and will not be able to defend his crown for some time to come.
