OPENING ROUND
Hiroyo and Alissa are making history as this is the first ever professional wrestling match ever in Bhutan. They have appeared on a few wrestling shows together in the past but have never faced each other in the ring. They go nose to nose before the bell. The ref sends them back to their corners and calls for the bell.
They go nose to nose again and both begin talking at each other. Hiroyo breaks up the debate with a headbutt. The headbutt did more to upset Alissa than to hurt her and the fight was on. They threw everything at each other, not holding back a bit. The only thing that slowed down these prime athletes was the altitude. They slowed down but kept battling close to the 15 minute time limit. Alissa ducked a roaring elbow from Hiroyo and caught her with a Kudo Driver. Alissa made the cover and got the three count.
Alissa Flash pinned Hiroyo Matsumoto with a Kudo Driver at 14:45
Syuri comes to the ring alone. She is wearing new camouflage print tights with the Irish flag on one leg and 1916 on the other leg. She had planned to pass out some pamphlets but they were confiscated at the airport after being declared seditious. Princesa Sujei, fastened in a straitjacket, is lead to the ring by her psychiatrist. The fans are shocked, some even cry when they see Sujei. The psychiatrist gets Sujei out of her straitjacket and the ref calls for the bell.
Syuri jumps Sujei from behind as soon as the bell rings. Syuri assaults Sujei with an array of kicks. Despite her furious attack, Syuri still has the same placid expression on her face as she continues her assault. Sujei turns it around by grabbing Syuri’s tights and yanking her into the turnbuckle face first. Sujei takes advantage of the opening and shows off her lucha libre repertoire. This is the top match in the opening round as the JPP Openweight Champion and the NWA Mexican Women’s Champion meet for the first time. Ramu and Ayumi are both near the top of the contenders list for the Women’s World Title. Which one of these great wrestlers wants to move to the very top of that list? They are both holding their belts up as they stare face to face. The ref takes the belts from them and calls for the bell.
They circle around before cautiously locking up. Right from the beginning, both are wrestling a defensive match. Neither goes for a big move or anything high risk because they both know that the first mistake could cost the match. This isn’t the first time that Jessicka and LuFisto have crossed paths in the ring. In their meetings, there has yet to be a decisive winner. Will this show provide that decisive win? They are forehead to forehead and talking trash to each other. The referee tries to separate them and get them to their corners but they ignore the ref.
Unlike the previous match, this match is a war right off the bell. There is no subtlety to what they are doing. LuFisto and Jessicka throw everything at each other as fast and hard as they can. The ref has to physically force them to break when the brawl gets in the ropes. The brawl gets more and more intense with the ref showing lots of leniency. They get into the ropes again and are exchanging chokes, chops, punches, kicks. The ref tries to get between them but they both punch the ref and continue brawling.
Security come into the ring to separate Jessicka and LuFisto but they can barely hold back these hellions. Officials come to the ring and calm down the situation by forcing them to leave separately.
This match has been ruled a double disqualification at 7:49
Jessicka Havok and LuFisto are both eliminated from the tournament
