SINGLES MATCH
Owen Phoenix vs. Austin Aries
Owen Phoenix vs. Austin Aries
This was the return of Austin Aries to a Dustin Smith promotion and he looked to be in top form as he took on a youngster from across the pond, Owen Phoenix. Aries had an arrogant smirk for the opening of the match getting the best of Phoenix with a few chain wrestling spots, poking fun with some paint brush action. Owen is young and doesn’t have as much experience as Aries but he’s got soo much heart. Aries would win another exchange and disrespectfully slap Owen across the face, but Owen would answer with forearm shots rocking Aries! Phoenix went on a run dropkicking and chopping away at Austin trying to mount offense but Aries would cut him off with a knee to the gut, following up with the brainbuster to pick up a win in his return.
SINGLES MATCH
“Die Hard” Eddie Edwards vs. “The Whole Foxin’ Show” AR Fox

Fox is so quick and innovative as he struck quickly trying to keep his distance from the shotgun striker, Eddie Edwards. Once Eddie got his hands on Fox however he made the speedster pay with vicious chops. Edwards tried for the Die Hard brainbuster but Fox would fight out of it, battling wildly to keep from being dropped on his head. AR Fox was able to pull out the win after hitting a springboard 450, Edwards looked a bit stunned at the finish but you could see the respect he had for Fox.
The NWA President makes an announcement from his office.
Dustin: I’m very pleased with the crop of talent that has been signed to NWA EMPIRE and I’d like to bring in a promotional championship to reward those who come in and lay it all on the line, for those who take things to the next level… That’s why I’m presenting the NWA EMPIRE X title!
Dustin pulls out the new championship sitting it on the desk facing the camera as it zooms in on the red X before fading into a commercial break.
SINGLES MATCH
“American Made” Derrick Bateman vs. “Buzzsaw” BJ Whitmer
“American Made” Derrick Bateman vs. “Buzzsaw” BJ Whitmer
The All American, Derrick Bateman didn’t look phased by his loss last week as he faced off against the Buzzsaw, who was looking to put down the patriotic characture. Bateman is deceptive with this persona as he’s a very talented athlete that draws his opponents in with his silliness only to unload with talent and heavy hands. Whitmer would try to fight back but Bateman would block his punches, hitting his own and following up with a body slam. Bateman would tear his shirt off before coming off the ropes with a leg drop of doom for a two count! Whitmer would get to his feet in a flash only to take another bodyslam from Bateman who would go to the top scoring with the macho man elbow drop for the victory!
Bateman would hop to his feet, jumping up and down excited by the victory. But Bateman would turn around into a violent spinebuster from Whitmer before the Buzzsaw would leave the ring pissed off.
TAG TEAM MATCH
The Briscoes(Mark & Jay) vs. LAX (Chavo & Hernandez)
The Briscoes(Mark & Jay) vs. LAX (Chavo & Hernandez)
Both of these teams came up short in their attempt at a shot on the Great American Bash card, but both teams are very competitive and didn’t let the loss phase them. Chavo and Mark started the match off with a lot of quick exchanges, the Briscoes were able to get in tags and take control until Hernandez got into the match taking down both Briscoes with his sheer size and power. The brothers from Sandy Fork, Delaware can communicate without words as they regrouped and teamed up on Hernandez taking the fight to the big man. The Briscoes would double clothesline Hernandez out of the ring and lucha rules must have kicked in because Chavo entered the ring and attacked both men! Chavo would score with the three amigos as Jay got pulled out of the ring by Hernandez. Chavo would “feel it” as he ascended the ropes crashing down on Mark with a frog splash to give LAX the victory in a great contest.
The Rock came out with a mic, always looking to talk some smack in the middle of the ring.
The Rock: Roman Reigns, The Rock hopes your watching tonight because The Rock wants you to see exactly what The Rock is going to do to you come the Great American Bash, when I whip your candy ass! Tonight The Rock plans on making an example out of “Monkey Crap” Willie Mack! And it’s been way to long but… FINALLY and The Rock means FINALLY THE ROCK HAS COME BACK…
SINGLES MATCH
“Milk Chocolate” Willie Mack vs. The Rock
“Milk Chocolate” Willie Mack vs. The Rock
Willie Mack was grinning over the fact that he was across the ring from a five time heavyweight champion, but The Rock would slap the smile off the face of Mack! This would start a good old fashion fist fight that Rock would win out, blocking and firing right hands at Mack sending him tumbling out of the ring giving Rock the chance to play to the fans. Willie Mack checked to see if his mouth was busted but got hit from behind by the Rock who looked great in his return to television. The match got back into the ring and from here Willie Mack was able to plant Rock with a samoan drop followed up by a standing moonsault! Willie Mack was in control shocking the Rock with his agility and power as “Milk Chocolate” almost pulled out the win with the Chocolate Thunderbomb that had Rock looking up at the lights for a near three count. The finish came out of nowhere as Mack tried for an irish whip but the Rock reversed and drove Mack to the mat with a Rock Bottom to pick up his debut win in EMPIRE!
TAG TEAM MATCH
John Cena & Randy Orton vs. Brock Lesnar & Corey Graves
John Cena & Randy Orton vs. Brock Lesnar & Corey Graves
This match was a pairing of volitale elements, Cena and Lesnar are feuding over the fact that they’ve screwed each other out of title matches. Orton and Graves have mutual enemies in TOXIC but Graves has a hard time trusting anyone. Graves didn’t seem to have to much a problem with Lesnar, probably because he’s not stupid enough to piss someone like Lesnar off for no reason. Graves and Cena were the guys who spent most of the match in the ring with Graves taking a beating from Cena but mostly from Orton who wanted to pay Graves back for the DDT last show. Orton was going to drive Graves head first into the mat with a suspension DDT but Lesnar would make the save by clotheslining Orton brutally before coming at him with MMA ground and pound making the ref rush in to try and save Orton only to get the ref to throw out the match!
John Cena tried to rush in to save Orton but Lesnar would hop up begging Cena to take a swing, the match is over and if Cena lays a hand on Lesnar at this point he’d get thrown out of the title match at Great American Bash! The tension broke as Graves and Orton attacked their opponents with Orton RKOing Lesnar as Graves plants Cena with a DDT! The rivalry between Cena and Lesnar blinded them to what was going on leaving Graves and Orton standing tall as the show cuts to black.
