*Real World: This is gonna be a quick show everyone, mainly just a go home show before GAB. I would have put more effort into this show but I got some news two days ago. After fighting for a year and not really knowing where to go or what to do, I am pleased to announce that the US Air Force decided to upgrade my discharge to a full Honorable which will allow me to claim my GI Bill and go to school full time!*
A quick rundown of Beach Brawl, highlighting that brutal barbed wire steel cage match between Bully Ray and NWA World Heavyweight Champion Kyle Matthews, plays before the opening pyro goes off and Matt Striker along with NWA South Beach Owner Howard E. Schilling welcome everyone to South Beach's go-home show before the Great American Bash next Sunday. We go to the ring where Jon Moxley is standing with a mic in hand, surrounded by TOXIC.
Moxley: Justice....what is it really? You all ponder your meaningless lives and when something bad happens to you you ask "Where's the justice?" without thinking that maybe you deserved what happened to you. I know that I am supposed to be out here promoting my NWA World Heavyweight title match with Kyle Matthews and Chris Dickinson but I can't help but notice that a lot of people are complaining about how things are run in the NWA. There's talk of tournaments to decide number one contenders for every title and here's the thing: that's fine....but it doesn't guarantee the title does it? What you marks in the crowd and those of you watching it home don't realize is that every major decision in the NWA isn't made by the pissant owners like this idiot *gestures at Howard* sitting at the announce table, it's made by a committee. So you see; you could win a billion number one contenders tournaments and if the committee decides that they don't want you as champion, you won't be anything more than a transitional territorial champion. Kyle Matthews, always one step ahead of everything, blowing up every bridge you cross; you want to ban anyone from challenging for your title if you beat them? You want to kill the NWA? YOU CAN'T KILL TOXIC! Seven days champ, and you will be brought to justice.
Moxley and TOXIC go to leave when "This Fire Burns" hits and out comes the former NWA World Champ CM Punk with the Straight Edge Nation! The SEN gets in the ring as the crowd chants "Welcome Back" at CM Punk, who has a microphone of his own.
Punk: Jon you've been out here a while talking about injustice here in the NWA, and the only injustice I can see right now is that we've had to listen to your droning voice on and on for about 5...maybe 10 minutes. *Moxley has to be held back by Jacobs and Jackson* Now a lot of you have probably been wondering why I haven't been on South Beach TV for a while, and other than my Blackhawks winning the Stanley Cup a few days ago, I decided that it would be in the best interests of everyone involved if I took a backseat and give the keys to Jay Lethal here *pats Jay on the shoulder* and Jay I'm proud to say you haven't let me down. You've gone from beating me with a dragon suplex in front of 1500 people to a spot on the card of a signature NWA event. Well done kid. Now the way I see it; you little emo friend and you need a tuneup for the Bash next week, and being the gracious guys we are, Jay and I are willing to take up the fight. Whaddaya say?
Moxley confers with TOXIC and says "You're on" after a few moments, it looks like we have our main event for the evening. Before we go to commercial we get a vignette for the Bash.
*commercial break*
Back from commercial and we're ready for our first match.
Match Number 1: TJ Perkins vs. Damien Sandow
This match barely gets underway when Bully Ray, Devon and Kazarian hit the ring and destroy everything in sight.
Result: No Contest
Bully has a mic after the three men ride the ring of TJ Perkins and Damien Sandow
Bully: YOU AWL WITNESSED THE BIGGEST TRAVESTY IN THE HISTORY OF THE NWA LAST SUNDAY. I. NEVER. TAPPED. OUT TO THE HIDAKA LOCK. FOAH THOSE OF YOU BITCHES THAT SAY I SHOULDA LAWST BECAUSE I PUT THAT LITTLE (bleep!) THROUGH A TABLE, LET ME REMIND YOU THAT HIS LITTLE SEX SLAVE SWAGGAH PUT THAT TABLE THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE! I WANT ANOTHER SHOT AT YOU YOU LITTLE (BLEEP) STAIN!
The crowd waits in anticipation when Kevin Steen comes out flanked by Super Dragon and South Beach Champion Low Ki!
Steen: Buh-buh-buh-bubba Ray Dudley please do us all a favor and shut up for longer than it takes for you to inhale the buffet at the local Golden Corral. I have had to listen to you scream and (bleep!) and moan about how you deserve this and that for the past three long months and haven't been able to do a thing about it. The thing is though, now I can. So take your balls out of Devon's mouth and face me like a man. Get a ref down here alright!
Match Number 2: Bully Ray vs. Kevin Steen
This match was, to quote a Hall of Fame commentator, Bowling Shoe Ugly. There was no ring psychology involved in this match, these boys just straight up brawled. Eventually the action spilled out into the crowd with both men just throwing bombs at each other. Eventually the ref had to count both men out.
Result: Double Countout
As Steen and Ray battle up the ramp into the back the announce team wonders when things will finally give between Kevin Steen and Bully Ray. These two men have had it out for each other since South Beach opened, what's it going to take?
*commercial*
Back from commercial and the World Tag Team Champions are standing in the back.
Cole: Seven days left until we show everyone why we are the NWA World Tag Team Champions. We're taking on three teams that have no idea what they're in store for, although one team seems to think that they're above us.
O'Reilly: Shocker, you made fun of us for calling you over the hill when your partner is even older than you. Here's the thing though; your partner, the illustrious Jushin "Thunder" Liger, accomplished more in his first five years than you have in your entire 21 year career. You see Shocker; you're not a future star like Adam and myself, you're not even a has been...you're a never should have been.
Cole: Shocker, listen carefully: we're going to hurt you next Sunday. We're going to clean your clock, sp(BLEEP!) and span. The future is now.
The announce team then runs down the final card for next Sunday's Great American Bash Supershow
Howard: First off Matt we have a battle of who is the stronger storm in the women's division as Lluvia from NWA Mexico squares off with Rain from NWA Ring Warriors
Matt: Ladies and gentlemen we have two very accomplished ladies meeting over who truly deserves to be called Rain. Whoever wins this match could possibly have an inside shot at becoming the number 1 contender to the NWA Women's Champion.
Howard: Next up is the final match in a best of five series for the vacant CPW Heavyweight Title as Cody Rhodes faces off with Rob Van Dam in a Street Fight with Shawn Michaels as the special guest referee.
Matt: Some call Cody Rhodes the future of this business and while he is an excellent in ring technician he'll be leaving his comfort zone as he faces the unorthodox RVD in Van Dam's element. Throw in the addition of the legendary HBK as a special referee and this one could be a phenomenal bout. Either way, CPW gets a new heavyweight champion on Sunday
Howard: Our next match was made official this past Friday at NWA Southwest's Summer Star Wars iPPV as the Texas Heavyweight Title will be up for grabs in no-rope barbed wire match between the champion "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan and Vance Archer.
Matt: After prevailing in a brutal Texas Death Match at Summer Star Wars The Blueprint will have to face the man who he beat for the title just a few days ago. This one will not be for the faint of heart folks, and I can't wait for it.
Howard: Next up is a four way elimination tag team match featuring eight of the best women the NWA has to offer as Awesome Kong and South Beach Women's Champion Jessicka Havok square off with JPP's Dancing Queens Hikaru Shida & Miyako Matsumoto, Hailey Hatred and Ring Warriors Women's Champion Sara Del Ray, and Marcela & Silueta from NWA Mexico
Matt: Desperate times make for some strange bedfellows as two of these teams can't stand the members of their own team. Meanwhile JPP and NWA Mexico feature the strongest women's divisions in the NWA and their teams actually like one another. This one should be a treat to watch.
Howard: Next up we have a match for the second best prize in South Beach as South Beach TV Champion Jimmy Jacobs faces off with Jay Lethal in Falls Count Anywhere
Matt: I gotta hand it to you Howard, you have done a good job keeping these two men as far apart as possible since their phenomenal match at RFTA. These men cannot stand each other, and in Boston next sunday they will finally get that opportunity. Will it be the new focused Jay Lethal or the Deranged Disciple Jimmy Jacobs? They can go anywhere and do anything they want to each other. Boston might not be big enough to hold these guys.
Howard: Next up it's a battle of TV Champions as Brian Cage from NWA Hybrid Pro squares off against The Notorious 187 from NWA Ring Warriors Homicide.
Matt: There's a reason Homicide has his name, he's likely to kill anyone he comes in the ring with if he has sufficient provocation. I don't know what The FN Machine and leader of The Pistols did, but it's going to take a lot more than a dog catcher to put this rottweiler down on Sunday.
Howard: Next we have a family feud that has gone to desperate measures as The Rock takes on his cousin Roman Reigns.
Matt: Its gonna be a Samoan slaughter as the most electrifying man in sports entertainment takes on his cousin who played on the defensive line at Georgia Tech. Rocky maybe strong but can he survive the former Yellow Jacket's sting?
Howard: Our next bout is for the North American Tag Titles as The Faces of Fear take on The Pistols from Hybrid Pro.
Matt: The Faces of Fear have been dominant since becoming the inaugural NA Tag Team Champions at the LLI supershow in March, but The Pistols have taken over NWA Hybrid Pro with a vengeance. The irresistible forces meet some immovable objects with the second richest tag prizes in the NWA up for grabs.
Howard: The North American Title is on the line as "The Reflection of Perfection" and NWA North American Champion Dolph Ziggler takes on The War Machine Brock Lesnar and John Cena from NWA Empire in a triple threat match
Matt: Two bulls have been at war in NWA Empire and both men have their sights set on the NWA North American Champion. Brock and John hate each other but will either man be able to put everything aside long enough to walk out of the TD Garden with the title?
Howard: Now we have the first of our quadruple main event as the NWA World Tag Team Titles will be on the line as the champs Future Shock take on Shocker and the legendary Jushin Thunder Liger from NWA Mexico, the new Rockstars of Wrestling Jimmy Rave and John Morrison from NWA Empire, along with Bo Dallas and Joe Hennig, Team 3G from CPW.
Matt: After the comments made just a few minutes ago by the champs you know that Shocker and Liger will be out looking to prove something on Sunday. In Team 3G you have two young multi-generational studs looking to make their mark on tag team wrestling. In Jimmy Rave and John Morrison you have some of the most unique offense in the NWA. Remember, the champs don't have to be involved in the pinfall, so everyone is going to need eyes in the back of their head.
Howard: Our next main event is for the NWA Women's title as the Women's Champion Kana from NWA JPP squares off against Ayumi Kurihara from NWA Mexico
Matt: Kana has been one of the best Women's champions in recent memory, valiantly fighting off every challenge, but she is facing a very game and determined challenger in the person of Ayumi Kurihara who outlasted 7 other women at the end of May to win the inaugural Queen's Cup. Kana will have a very tough challenge on her hands. The fact that we have THREE women's matches on this card speaks to how deep the talent pool is in women's wrestling right now. The future is definitely bright.
Howard: Our next main event is a Crossfire Cage Match for the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Title as five of the highest flyers in the NWA will meet with the second biggest prize in the industry at stake as Sami Zayn from NWA Hybrid Pro will meet PAC from NWA South Beach, Ring Warriors No Limits Champion Tyler Black, "The Phenomenal One" AJ Styles from CPW and the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson.
Matt: This one is going to be a high intensity thrill ride from start to finish. I can't say anything more about this match. I am pumped.
Howard: Finally we have a battle of good versus evil versus varying shades of gray as the NWA World Heavyweight Championship is on the line. The champion Kyle Matthews takes on Ring Warriors Champion Chris Dickinson and Jon Moxley
Matt: This is what it is all about. Matthews has kept a stranglehold on the belt, taking out everyone that has come his way while surrounded by his Prophecy. Chris Dickinson started out as the menace of the NWA but has become a ray of hope for all those that wish to see the champ's reign of tyranny end. The wild card here is Jon Moxley. He just lost the Ring Warriors title to Dickinson a few weeks ago and decided to deliver that shocking promo earlier in the show. What is going on inside the mind of that man? Throw in the former NWA World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio being added as special guest referee and nothing about the outcome of this match is certain.
Both announcers tell everyone to tune into The Great American Bash live on iPPV next Sunday before sending it down to the ring for our main event of the evening.
Main Event: CM Punk and Jay Lethal vs Jon Moxley and South Beach TV Champion Jimmy Jacobs
Both teams brought their respective factions down to the ring for this match for safety. These men know each other so well and it showed as everyone seemed to have a counter for everything their opponent threw at them. In the end, Moxley would hit a Boma Ye on CM Punk after slipping out of a GTS to pick up the victory and the momentum headed into The Bash.
Winners: Jon Moxley and Jimmy Jacobs
Post match TOXIC lifts Moxley on their shoulders as he motions the belt around his waist. Tune into The Great American Bash this coming Sunday live on iPPV. Goodnight everybody!
