Mistico vs. Alex Colon

This was a fast paced opener with two great X division athletes, Colon gaved the masked marvel a run for his money. Colon is hard hitting, and nearly came away with the win after hitting a double stomp off the top rope but somehow Mistico was able to kick out. Mistico looked to be in a world of trouble with Colon making a very impressive debut but Mistico was able to transition into La Mistica in the middle of the ring cranking on the arm of Colon forcing him to submit.
Mike Tenay: Tonight’s main event was going to be John Cena versus The Rock but… well let’s just take a look at the video…
The show cuts to John Cena prior to the show walking through the parking lot with his duffel bag slung over his shoulder. Kurt Angle ambushes Cena from off screen blasting him with a huge clothesline before whipping him into a nearby car, suplexing Cena onto the hood of the car before choking him! Security had to pull Angle off of Cena before even more damage could be done.
Mike Tenay: Due to that beating at the hands of Kurt Angle, John Cena had to be taken to Allegheny general. NWA EMPIRE owner Dustin Smith has changed the main event to The Rock versus Brock Lesnar!
SINGLES MATCH
“American Made” Derrick Bateman vs. The Almighty Sheik

Sheik came out with a rolled up rug, unraveling it in the middle to pray to his gods before the match. “American Made” Derrick Bateman would come out to the ring waving old glory, with the Pennsylvania crowd cheering him on. Bateman was all over the Sheik in the beginning of the match showing off his American fighting spirit keeping the crowd hot, but Sheik was able to cut off Bateman firing off with headbutts and chops. Sheik has a very old school style, he likes to grind out wins, punishing his opponent. Bateman tried to “Hulk up” but Sheik would gouge his eyes, slamming Bateman to the mat with a belly to belly suplex following up with the camel clutch to put the young patriot away.
TAG TEAM MATCH
The All-Stars(Willie Mack & Famous B) vs. TMDK(Shane Haste & Mikey Nicholls)

Famous B made his return to EMPIRE, while the team from down under TMDK looked to make an impact tonight. The All-Stars are a crowd favorite, looking great in their return using quick tags to dominate the match. TMDK didn’t come all this way to be beaten in their debut, Haste would actually bite at the face of Famous B to get away from him to tag in the high flying Nicholls. Mikey would match the speed of B and thanks to the dirty tactic of his partner he was able to control the match. TMDK would keep Famous B as far away from the massive Willie Mack as possible. “Aussie Strong Style” Shane Haste would blast the chest of B with rapid fire kicks before tagging out to Nicholls again who would almost get the win after hitting a leaping enziguri. Famous B had to do something, and he had to do it fast, hitting a beautiful dropkick on Nicholls before tagging out to Willie Mack who would come in and clean house! Willie Mack would hit a standing shooting star press on Mikey only to get it broken up by Haste. Mack would go after Haste only to have Nicholls roll him up, putting his feet on the ropes for leverage to steal the win.
SINGLES MATCH
“The Greatest Man that Ever Lived” Austin Aries vs. ”BuzzSaw” BJ Whitmer
“The Greatest Man that Ever Lived” Austin Aries vs. ”BuzzSaw” BJ Whitmer
Austin Aries has been on a roll since coming to NWA EMPIRE, but BJ Whitmer has become quite a force in EMPIRE so this match was one to watch. Aries had some great speed but Whitmer would cut him off with a brutal belly to back suplex crumpling Aries who tried to catch his breath on the outside only to have Whitmer hit him with a suicide dive! Whitmer would show off his own aglity by hitting a leaping hurrincanrana off the apron onto Aries whipping him back to the safety mat at ringside. Whitmer continued to show his dominance on Aries hitting him with right hands so hard that Whitmer had to shake the pain out of his fist. Whitmer didn’t want the count out victory he’d drag Aries back in the ring and try for the pinfall but only got a two count! Aries looked dazed as Whitmer tried for the Peruvian necktie but Aries has great ring awareness getting his foot on the rope to break the hold. Whitmer looked for the exploder 98 but Aries would fight free and started to mount a comeback hitting a dropkick following up with the pendulum elbow drop, getting to the top rope. Whitmer would run up the ropes attacking Aries but Austin would cling for dear life to the rope, Aries was able to counter with a flip powerbomb off the top for a near fall. Whitmer was able to connect with a huge mafia kick looking for the adrenaline spike but Aries would slide down the back and plant Whitmer with a brainbuster to pick up the victory.
SINGLES MATCH
“The Viper” Randy Orton vs. Corey Graves
“The Viper” Randy Orton vs. Corey Graves
Orton was originally brought in to help rid EMPIRE of TOXIC, teaming with former TOXIC member Corey Graves to do so. Graves would turn his back on Orton hitting him with a huge DDT that would cement a rivalry, Orton still had that DDT fresh on his mind even after WEEKS! Orton and Graves would throw hands at each other as soon as the bell rang, Graves would throw a knee that looked kinda low, following up with clubbing shots to the back of Orton. Graves is an opportunist and wanted to show the world that after years of being apart of teams, that he could take on the best the NWA had to offer on his own. Orton was able to come back after hitting a beautiful scoop powerslam following up with stomps to the joints of Graves. Orton would drop down, punching the mat to signal for the RKO! Orton would strike but Graves would drop back down to avoid the finisher. Graves would try for the DDT but Orton would counter with a spinebuster that almost got him the win. Corey tried to get up with the help of the ropes but Orton would cut him back down and use the rope assisted DDT to spike Graves, dropping back down to signal for the RKO again. This time Orton would connect with the cutter, rolling up Graves for the pinfall.
SINGLES MATCH
The Rock vs. Brock Lesnar
The Rock vs. Brock Lesnar
The Rock could concentrate on this match with Roman Reigns not being in the building tonight, while Lesnar had to keep Angle in the back of his mind after seeing what he did to Cena before the show. The match started out with a slow build, big match atmosphere with Rock getting the better of Lesnar, telling him to “Just bring it!” Lesnar went for a huge clothesline but Rock would duck and drop him with a belly to back suplex before mounting him, peppering Lesnar with right hands. Brock was a bit stunned but was able to come back with an overhead belly to belly suplex before clamping on a waist lock trying to squeeze the life out of Rock. “Rocky” chants filled the building as Rock tried fighting back hitting Lesnar with back elbows before picking his leg, following up by putting Lesnar in the sharpshooter. Lesnar was able to power out tossing Rock with another belly to belly suplex, picking him up and slamming him with a waist lock. Lesnar tried for the pin but only got a two count, immediately trying to put Rock in a horse collar submission but Rock would kick him away. The Rock would kip up and start firing away with right hands on Lesnar whipping him off the ropes for a huge spinebuster! The crowd was hot as Rock tossed away the elbow pad going for the people’s elbow but Lesnar would spring to life with a huge lariat sending the Rock spinning in the air. Lesnar made the cut throat motion before lifting Rock for the F5 but Rock would slide out and hit the Rock Bottom, three seconds later and The Rock came away with the main event win.
The show ends with The Rock standing on the second rope holding his fist up in victory as the show cut to black.
