Since I have not received the results from Remi for the other matches, I'm just going to give some results for the NWA World title tournament. The results are as follows: ROUND 1Sheamus (NWA Midwest) vs. Christopher Daniels (CPW)-- Chris Daniels is the current Television champion of CPW, taking on a man who has looked very dominant and stood out amongst a stellar pack in NWA Midwest. Sheamus found out that size isn't everything, as the more experienced and very versatile "Fallen Angel" was able to keep him at bay and get his share of near falls. Both men being former World Heavyweight champions, the fans really had no idea who would come out on top, and it was a massive Brogue Kick after a failed Best Moonsault Ever that earned Sheamus his advancement in this monumental tournament. Austin Aries w/ Jade Chung (EPW) vs. John Phoenix (NWA Southwest)-- This is a battle between former World Junior Heavyweight champion, the self-proclaimed "Greatest Man That Ever Lived," Austin Aries, and the current NWA Texas Heavyweight champion, John Phoenix. Not much is known about Phoenix. No footage could be found on him, and the only way we could confirm that he is an actual person is that his name was mentioned in David Young's Wikipedia page, where it said John Phoenix suffered a loss to the legendary "Messiah of the Spinebuster." Besides those excellent credentials, I know only from Tom's simulations that he knows how to do a 450 Splash, which is also a trademark move for Austin Aries. So, both men, in a show of pride, who attempt to nail this finisher throughout the contest. Aries would eventually score with the Brainbuster, then execute the 450, to get the pinfall and advance. Daniel Puder (Windy City) vs. Steve Corino w/ The Old School(EVOLVE)-- Long-time reigning Windy City champion and Mixed Martial Arts trained Daniel Puder took on "The King of Old School" himself, in a match that saw a stark clash in styles. Corino would use various heel tactics to stay ahead, also utilizing help from the Old School, to try and keep the advantage over his more physically imposing opponent. Corino is a long time veteran of Japan, however, cutting his teeth with the late, great Shinya Hashimoto, so he is no stranger to hard hits, and Puder made sure he took plenty of them. Corino would take advantage of an outside distraction, nailing Puder with a Superkick, only getting a two count. He could hit a Sliding Lariat near after, but also earned a two. Corino looked frustrated and called for the end, looking for a Northern Lights Bomb, but Puder would slide over and manage to take him down into a deadly Kimura Submission! Corino, with help from Ace Archer, got his boot on the ropes. Puder would argue with the referee and Archer, before getting school-boy'd as Corino put his feet on the ropes, earning Corino the advancement! Puder looked like he was about to blow a gasket after the match, actually locking the referee's counting arm into a Cross Armbar for making the pinfall. Sure, he was robbed, but that's a little uncalled for. Nobody ever said Puder was a nice guy. Adam Pearce (NWA 3 Rivers) vs. Rhino (NWA Midwest)-- Things didn't look too good for Adam Pearce, staring down the barrel of the "Man Beast" Rhino, who has earned that nickname by amassing a large and impressive body count, having been in many gruesome contests in his career. Adam Pearce is a very old school guy, and tried to avoid letting Rhino get any momentum, but that's almost impossible when you're in there with "The War Machine." "Scrap Daddy," however, would try to cut out Rhino's legs, before working over his neck, which are two areas in which Rhino has had issues in the past, and Pearce shows why it pays to do your homework in big match situations, like this. Rhino would battle his way back, and even catch Pearce with a Gore, but Pearce managed to get his foot on the bottom rope just in time to break the count. Pearce would pull out a pair of brass knuckles, nailing Rhino in the jaw with them, after Rhino shoved the referee out of his face, leading to Pearce pinning Rhino and heading to Round 2. Round 2Sheamus vs. Austin Aries w/ Jade Chung-- Sheamus manages to overcome the pointed assault of Aries, and deliver the Irish Curse to get the pinfall, heading into the finals. Steve Corino w/ The Old School vs. Adam Pearce-- Daniel Puder would come out and storm on The Old School, causing a big distraction, which lead to Pearce rolling up Corino with a school boy, holding the tights and giving Corino a taste of his own medicine. Round 3Sheamus vs. Adam Pearce-- Pearce was not able to utilize any of tricks in this particular match, Sheamus being one step ahead and actually taking the brass knuckles away from him after a ref bump, delivering ten punches with them in the corner, much to the fan's pleasure. Pearce was bleeding buckets by the end, probably suffering some brain damage after all of those brass knuckles shots, but for every bit of stupidity inherent in him, there was about ten more bits of courage and toughness shining through; his nickname of "Scrap Iron" was well earned here, and you had to give him a little respect, even though he is a low down, dirty scoundrel. Pearce would manage to fight his way back, wearing the crimson mask, head butting the gargantuan Irishman, as well as hitting him with rights and lefts, followed by some bionic elbows. Pearce ran off of the ropes, only to catch a boot from Sheamus, which spun him, and lead to the Brogue Kick, sending blood and other liquids soaring through the air in a nasty, final blast to end what was a very heated war for the vacant World Heavyweight championship. Sheamus, holding up his World Heavyweight title belt, something he hasn't held since his month long reign in 2010. Pearce was looking rough in the end, being helped to the back momentarily, before shoving away paramedics and walking back under his own power, probably planning his next move at that very moment.

Excellent show, this tournament was a ton of fun, and I'm of course very pleased that my guy Sheamus managed to come out on top. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the results from the show

NO DISQUALIFICATION MATCH Luke Gallows vs. “The New Horror” Sami Callihan
This brutal feud began when Luke Gallows helped Mike Elgin beat Sami Callihan in the NWA 3RW Television title tournament. Now it’s become personal between the two men, this wasn’t a wrestling match as much as it was a knockdown, drag out fight. Luke Gallows size helped him dictate the pace of this match as he punished the New Horror with a brutal yet simple offense, pushing the limits of the rope break five counts a few times. Callihan was able to fight back with his speed, striking quickly and getting out of harm’s way. Gallows ended up getting cut down to size as the unorthodox Callihan used the electricity from the crowd to fuel his attack. Gallows almost got pinned thanks to a sliding lariat by Callihan, but Gallows was able to press toss Callihan off of him after a long two count. Gallows tried to put away Callihan but Sami was able to fight free from the hangman’s gory neckbreaker, coming back with a huge headlock driver onto a steel chair to put away Gallows for the three count.
Magnus wants Cody to retain the belt after interference from the Miz. Or it could have been with the Miz, I was sure Samoa Joe answered the open challenge. If you need a write up, talk to him.
And for the EVOLVE match, you know my style, since you are writing it, I would like you to do the write up to fit your style of writing. I would like The Old School to win after Flair hits Quackenbush with a set of knucks on the outside. Just play up the heelish tactics and tease Archer and Steen hitting another spiked Package Piledriver on Jigsaw, but let Mike make the save. If you need a write up from me, I'd be happy to do one.

The tournament was good. I especially liked Puder's match and Sheamus should make a good champion! Gallows and Callihan was a decent match too but what happened to the rest of it? It's a bit disappointing for Starrcade!

Inter-promotional Tag Team Match
Pure Dynamite (3Rivers) defeated Money Incorporated (CPW) by pinfall when Josh Daniels pined Robert Roode after Alberto Del Rio botched an attempted interference. Post match the three men from CPW attacked the 3Rivers stars until security pulled them off.
