Before we go to the arena a video plays as a bunch of highlights from the seventy-five year history of the NWA plays while several wrestlers give their thoughts.
Dusty Rhodes: I wath there from the beginning bebe. We wrestled for twenny-fi dollas in podunk towns all ovah te country jutht to make a dollah if you weeell. Kahl Matthewths...he wants to destroy awl that. Ah cant belee that thith could eeend tonight.
Hulk Hogan: You know something brother, I wandered throughout the deserts for forty days and forty nights; competing in Yapapai Indian Strap Matches and feeling my largest pythons in the world failing me dude. I left InVinceable's care man, and I struggled to find a home; but then the NWA and all their NWAites accepted me and my Hulkamaniacs man and we began a whole new world order of wrestling brother. If this is the end man, I don't know what will happen dude.
Sting: Extreme Championship Wrestling, The World Wrestling Federation, World Championship Wrestling. The three biggest wrestling companies fell under the weight of greed. The National Wrestling Alliance rose above them all. The NWA has been home to the best wrestling talent in the world for longer than most of our current fans have been alive, striving to hold its richest prize: The NWA World Heavyweight Championship. The list of men who have held that belt reads as a Who's Who of Hall of Famers and guys that could soon be there. Harley Race, Ric Flair, The Funks, Lou Thesz, Dusty Rhodes and Rick Steamboat. Those guys all fought for something. We have a champion now that wants to destroy what those guys built. Other than Starrcade, I can't think of a better place to decide whether their sacrifices were in vain. Fall Brawl, the home of the War Games. If we're going out....we're going out with a bang.
The pyro goes off inside a sold out American Airlines arena in Miami Florida as your announce team of the legendary Jim Ross and Tony Schiavone welcome everyone to what could be the final NWA show ever: Fall Brawl. The camera pans around the arena as we get set for our first match, which will feature talent from NWA Mexico.
*Before the competitors are introduced, Rey Cometa walks to the ring carrying the Light Heavyweight Championship belt. The fans are cheering him as he does so.*
Rey Cometa: Volador Jr. was offered a title shot but he refused saying the belt is beneath him now. I'm inviting Laredo Kid to join this #1 contender's match pending the approval of the three competitors scheduled for it.
(Aero Star, El Hijo Del Fantasma and Guerrero Maya Jr. walk to the match and shake Rey Cometa's hand as they do. The four of them are talking with each other before they enter the ring. Rey Cometa motions for Laredo Kid to come to the ring.)
Rey Cometa: Come on out, Laredo Kid! The other three have decided to let you in on the action! May the best man win!
*Rey Cometa climbs out of the ring and sits next to Cynthia Moreno and Rush who will be providing the spanish commentary for the matches tonight. Laredo Kid runs to the ring with the approval of the crowd.*
Cynthia: Thanks for joining us!
Cometa: It's gonna be a great match!
Rush: We got the best seats in the house for it!
*Cometa high fives his friends who are sitting on either side of him*
Rush: I'm looking forward to our IPPV in Detroit. Kevin and Ray are gonna love the front row seats!
Cynthia: Not as much as you guys will enjoy who we picked as your dates.
Cometa: Now you really have me curious....
Rush:No time for that now. Let's get this match started!
Match Number One: Aero Star vs. El Hijo del Fantasma vs. Guerrero Maya Jr. vs. Laredo Kid (Number One Contenders Match for the NWA Mexico Light Heavyweight Championship)
The whistle is blown. Areo Star squares off against El Hijo Del Fantasma as Guerrero Maya Jr. and Laredo Kid lock up. After several minutes with no one gaining a clear advantage it ends up looking like a tornado tag team match with Aero Star and Laredo Kid teaming up against El Hijo Del Fantasma. The action is so fast that the commentators have trouble calling the match. Eventually the superior teamwork of Areo Star and Laredo Kid give them a decisive advantage. Miss communication between their opponents leads to a collision between Fantasma and Maya. Aero Star and Laredo kid both go for covers at the same time. Both El Hijo Fantasma and Guerrero Maya both kick out at the last second. Areo Star gets up and dropkicks Laredo Kid. He goes for the cover on his ally. Fantasma and Maya jump on top of Aero Star in a dog pile. Laredo Kid is under the pile so he gets counted out. The referees award the match to Aero Star. The quartet of tecnicos get up and high five each other as the fans show their approval with thunderous applause.
Winner: Aero Star
Cometa: Wow! What a match!
Cynthia: Despite the intensity of this match, all four luchadores are showing their good sportmanship by applauding each other for putting on a great match!
Aero Star celebrates as the announcers plug the card for the rest of the night. We go back to the locker room where the Straight Edge Nation is gathered and CM Punk is standing in the middle. Punk talks about ending TOXIC's reign of terror once and for all. After they leave Jay Lethal tells Punk that he really appreciates Punk mentoring him over the last few months and regardless of whether they win or lose tonight he would like to face Punk on November 5th. Punk agrees, they shake hands and Lethal leaves. As the door closes the camera catches Punk with a strange look in his eye. We get a video package for highlighting the vicious longstanding feud that has led to our next match.
Match Number Two: LuFisto vs. Mercedes Martinez (Shipping Container Match)
Two police cars pull out of the basement garage of the American Airlines Arena and travel across the bridge to Dodge Island. They travel past the cruise terminal and turn into the container terminal. They drive down separate rows of containers and meet at the far end on either side of an open container. The referee is already waiting. LuFisto and Mercedes get out of the cop cars and approach the open container. The ref reminds them of the one rule, lock your opponent in the container. A ship horn sounds and the match is on. Mercedes and LuFisto charge at each other. They meet each other with big right hands. They are nose to nose, exchanging haymakers. They move into the container, still exchanging punches. Mercedes kicks LuFisto, sending her into the wall. Mercedes charges at LuFisto but LuFisto steps aside and Mercedes crashes into the wall. LuFisto grabs Mercedes’ hair and slams her head into the wall a couple times then scrapes it back and forth. Mercedes’ forehead is opened up. LuFisto heads out of the container. She gets one door closed. As she is closing the other door, Mercedes kicks it, sending LuFisto flying backwards onto the ground. Mercedes rushes over and mounts LuFisto. She grabs LuFisto’s hair and slams it on the ground a few times. Mercedes gets up and kicks LuFisto several times. Mercedes tries to drag LuFisto into the container but LuFisto kicks at Mercedes. LuFisto gets to her feet and launches herself at Mercedes. They tumble on the ground, scratching and clawing each other. LuFisto rakes Mercedes’ eyes.
LuFisto gets up and heads over to a forklift. She climbs in and manages to start it. She drives it right at Mercedes. The forks hit the container, missing Mercedes. Mercedes climbs up on the forklift and gets into the cab in LuFisto’s lap. They start beating on each other. LuFisto yanks a knob off of one of the control levers and hits Mercedes in the head; Mercedes falls back and her foot is caught in the steering wheel. LuFisto blasts her in the head a couple more times. LuFisto backs the forklift, trying to steer it into the container. Mercedes falls off. LuFisto tries to run her over but Mercedes barely rolls out of the way. Mercedes climbs back onto the forklift and the brawl continues. While they are brawling, the forklift continues rolling forward and into the container. The forklift bounces off one wall, then the other before crashing into the far end. Mercedes falls off to the floor. LuFisto pull off one of the other knobs and jumps down on Mercedes. They are struggling with each other while wedged in the small space between the forklift and the wall of the container. During the struggle, LuFisto drops the knob. Mercedes manages to pick up the knob and use it to pummel LuFisto. LuFisto’s forehead is busted open and she is almost knocked unconscious. Mercedes gets up and heads for the door of the container. As soon as she steps one foot out, the door flies in and sends her reeling back into the container. AJ Lee comes into the container with a large wrench. AJ attacks Mercedes with the wrench until she’s unconscious. AJ goes to the far end and helps LuFisto to her feet. AJ helps LuFisto out of the container. AJ slams the door shut and LuFisto locks it.
Winner: LuFisto
After the match the shipping container is loaded onto a ship and the ship sails away into the night. LuFisto and AJ celebrate The Japanese Hardcore Anime's arguably hardest fought victory in a long time and you have to wonder if this feud is FINALLY over.
Before we head back into the arena we get a beautiful view around the wondrous city of Miami before a video highlighting the almost year long feud between TOXIC and the Straight Edge Nation plays.
Match Number Three: The Straight Edge Nation vs. TOXIC
"This Fire Burns" hits as The Straight Edge Nation comes out to a huge ovation from this capacity crowd. They get on one end of the double rings and huddle together as TOXIC, led by Jon Moxley, comes out to a rousing chorus of boos. Both teams know the stakes and neither is willing to give an inch. The bell rings and Roderick Strong will be starting it out for the SEN while Davey Richards will be TOXIC's first representative. Both men pace their rings trying to goad their opponent into making the first move and Roderick eventually does and predictably gets caught between the ropes by Davey who starts beating down on him with lefts and rights. Davey brings Roddy into his ring and starts laying in with kicks to the midsection before dragging him to his corner and tagging out to Ezekiel Jackson. Zeke laughs as he steps in the ring and stands Strong up only to lay a massive open hand slap to his chest that echoes throughout the arena. Jackson allows Strong to get up and dares him to try and hit a back breaker. Strong runs at him trying a shoulder block and bounces off the Guyanese Goliath like he was a brick wall. Jackson dares him to try it again and when Strong obliges he catches Roddy and bearhugs him. The Straight Edge Nation starts to get the crowd behind them and get Roddy back in the match. Strong is struggling and manages to connect with a shot to the head, and another, and a third when Jackson decides to turn the bearhug into a belly to belly suplex! Strong's back bends and buckles with the impact. Jackson points at Uhaa Nation across the ring and laughs as he picks Roddy up for a torture rack! Strong is almost bent in half as Jackson is grinning like a Cheshire cat. The SEN moves to get in the ring to break it up but Zeke shouts that if they do he'll break Strong in half. Punk and Lethal look at each other then tell Uhaa and Elgin to stand down. Roderick Strong taps out and he's the first elimination
Roderick Strong Eliminated. TOXIC up 5-4
Michael Elgin looks to get in the ring to avenge his partner's elimination but Jackson actually walks over to the SEN's side of the ring and pokes Uhaa Nation in the chest and says "I want him". Uhaa is more than happy to oblige and The One Man Nation enters the ring and immediately starts going to work on The Guyanese Goliath. Nation is a quick and agile competitor whose speed and skill in the ring is masked by his size. Jackson kept trying to get to his ring and create some distance and eventually did.....for about four seconds as Uhaa would hit the ropes and fly from his ring into the next with a devastating flying shoulder block. Uhaa sends Jackson into the ropes but follows him in and clotheslines big Zeke over the top and to the floor as the crowd roars its approval. Nation sees Jackson stumbling on the outside and hits the ropes and lands a BEAUTIFUL suicide dive that catches Jackson full force and sends him into the barricade. Nation gets a gleam in his eye as the referee's count hits three and decides to pick Jackson up HIGH in the air and hits a gorilla press slam! Ref: FIVE! Nation then rolls Jackson over and hits a standing moonsault followed by a standing shooting star! It's the Uhaa Combination! Nation goes to get back in the ring...but the ref rings the bell! Uhaa couldn't get back in time! Uhaa and Jackson are BOTH ELIMINATED!
Ezekiel Jackson and Uhaa Nation eliminated. TOXIC up 4-3
Michael Elgin gets in the ring and races over to TOXIC's side before they can decide who's going in next and knocks everyone off the apron! He truly is the Canadian Crazy Horse! Lethal and Punk race around the ring and start laying in to any member of TOXIC they can reach as thed crowd is electric and the ref calls for more refs to restore order.
Rocky Romero eliminated. TOXIC AND the SEN are tied 3-3
Moxley immediately gets in the ring as Elgin is trying to get up and hits the Boma Ye! Moxley covers! ONE!.....TWO.....THREE! Elgin is eliminated!
Michael Elgin eliminated. TOXIC up 3-2
Moxley immediately tags out to Davey Richards as Lethal and Punk confer on their side of the ring. Lethal eventually tells Punk that he has got this and the youngest member of the South Beach roster steps in facing steep odds.
Davey Richards eliminated. TOXIC and SEN are tied 2-2
Jacobs immediately comes into the ring and wails upon his long time adversary. Lethal and Jacobs go back and forth seemingly knowing what the other will do before they do it. Jacobs manages to wear down Lethal enough that he thinks that the end is near and signals for The Contra Code. Jacobs manages to get up the ropes but gets hit with a knee to the face! Punk kneed Jacobs in the face! Lethal turns the Contra Code into a dragon suplex while Punk blind tags in and hits a diving elbow drop before transitioning into the Anaconda Vise! Jacobs is in the middle of the ring and is struggling like a rat trying to get out of a trap but he taps! Jacobs taps! Only one left!
Jimmy Jacobs eliminated. SEN up 2-1
Jon Moxley is the last remaining member of TOXIC; he is someone who is very cerebral in his actions and always seems to be four steps ahead of his competition and he will have to be in order to survive. Punk and Moxley are in the center of the SEN's ring and both men are trading forearms, punches and kicks. Back and forth these men are battling, trading holds and counters so fast that the announcers can't call the match quick enough. Moxley hits a dropkick to Punk's knee and manages to hit the Boma Ye! ONE!.....TWO!.....AND A KICK OUT! PUNK KICKED OUT! Punk is dazed but manages to send Moxley into the corner with Lethal and sets for the running knee! IT CONNECTS! LETHAL BLIND TAGS IN AS PUNK HITS THE BULLDOG! Punk goes for the cover but the ref waves it off! Punk gets told that there was a tag made as Lethal comes down with a flying elbow straight to the heart of Moxley! Lethal covers! ONE! TWO! THREE! Lethal and Punk did it! Lethal and Punk did it!
Winner (and Sole Survivors): Jay Lethal and CM Punk
After the match Lethal celebrates with the crowd who are roaring. Lethal goes over to Punk and shakes his hand before posing on the turnbuckles as Punk has a weird look on his face. The announcers transition to a preview for the next episode of NWA Hybrid Pro TV before our next match
Match Number Four: Samuray Del Sol & Tony Nese (c) vs. Niebla Roja & Rey Escorpion (NWA North American Tag Title Match)
This rivalry started several weeks ago when Roja and Escorpion challenged the champions to a non-title match in Mexico under 2-3 falls rules, a match that the challengers won, earning a title match in the process. This in a way was a proving ground matchup for Del Sol and Nese, they are two of the less focused upon members of The Pistols, and they wanted to show that they can compete on the big stage. It was a solid match for the titles, with Del Sol and Roja having some fun back and forth high flying exchanges, while Escorpion and Nese battled on the mat exchanging holds and counter holds. A spanner was thrown into the works again as the ref took a bump in the corner, and Brian Cage decided to run out once again and try and cost The Pistols the titles. He nailed Weapon X on both Nese and Del Sol while the Mexico duo were on the canvas, before Matt Taven ran out and chased Cage off. Escorpion went for the cover on Nese, 1-2-NO! He tries covering Del Sol instead, 1-2-NO, THE CHAMPIONS SURVIVE! Escorpion calls for the Aguijón Mortal, his Package Piledriver finishing move. He gets Nese up but Nese holds his ground and backdrops out of it. He then takes Escorpion down with a Reverse Piledriver while Del Sol lays out Roja with a Samuray Kick. The two go up top for SYNCHRONISED 450 SPLASHES! 1-2-3, The Pistols retain, but only just!
Winners (and STILL NWA North American Tag Team Champions): Samuray del Sol and Tony Nese!
After the match the champions celebrate their victory while the crowd wonders if it was by luck or by skill. The tag team of Niebla Roja and Rey Escorpion have a legitimate claim to a rematch after they took the champs to their limit.
We go to the back where Kyle Matthews is talking to his Prophecy saying that after tonight, the NWA will be dead and they will hold all of its riches hostage. All they need to do is have faith.
Before our next match NWA South Beach Owner Howard E. Schilling steps on stage and offers an apology to the actual Cibernetico who is wrestling on the independent circuit.

Ultimo Guerrero: It's just like I've always said, never send a woman to do man's job! Atlantis! I've got some business to settle with you! This promotion isn't big enough for the two of us! I challenge you to a mascara contra mascara match! The loser has to retire! If you don't accept, everyone will know that you're a coward! If you accept, I'll have the great pleasure of ripping your mask off and send you into retirement. What do you have to say!
*Atlantis walks to the ring with a cordless mic.*
Atlantis: You're on! I'm no coward and it would take more than just you to put me into retirement. I've seen a lot of action over the years. Win or lose, I'll go into retirement; but as God as my witness I'm going to do it wearing my mask!
*The fans cheer in approval as the referees help Ayako Hamada up and walk her to the backstage are. The fans start chanting "Hamada San" in respect of her accomplishments over the years and in this match.*
Before our next match a video package plays highlighting the stakes for our next matchup between DA Baldies and the second most dominant faction in wrestling today, The Pistols.
Match Number Six: DA Baldies (Antonio Cesaro, Giant Bernard, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson) vs. The Pistols (Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, Sami Callihan, Tommaso Ciampa) (No DQ 8 man tag match where the losing team must split up)
This feud began pretty much as soon as Anderson formed Da Baldies, they have targeted The Pistols who they feel are nothing more than "pretty boys" who can't match them in a fight, as they have tried to prove by beating the hell out of them on an almost weekly basis with kendo sticks. Tonight however The Pistols had a point to prove, especially knowing that if they lost they were done as a group, they took the fight to Da Baldies, especially Callihan who want to show that he's the most hardcore wrestler in the sport today. Every weapon you could think of was used here, from your basic chair and the signature kendo sticks of Da Baldies to barbed wire and thumbtacks. Gallows took a lot of big bumps it has to be said, getting tossed into thumbtacks and cracked over the head twice with vicious steel chair shot, while Callihan not only took some vicious moves, he dished them out to, from getting tossed into barbed wire to putting Anderson through a table. Things took a turn for the worse when Brian Cage ran out, grabbing Matt Taven and putting him through a table with Weapon X, he wants to kill The Pistols and send a massive message to Matt Taven! Anderson goes for the cover, 1-2-NO! Cage is furious that wasn't it, as Samuray Del Sol and Tony Nese run out and brawl with Cage all the way backstage to ensure he doesn't get involved again. The carnage came to a conclusion when the match ended up with just Callihan and Anderson left standing, and Callihan pulled out a barbed wire 2x4. But to step things up even further, HE SET IT ON FIRE! He smacks Anderson over the head with the on fire 2x4 and them repeatedly to him on the mat. Callihan grabs some barbed wire, and tries to choke out Anderson with it, this is getting really hard to watch now! Anderson gives up, THE PISTOLS WIN AND DA BALDIES ARE DONE!
Winners: The Pistols
The Pistols celebrate their win and they can barely stand after the hellacious onslaught from a very game faction of chrome-domed men. We get a brief look into the best women's wrestling on the planet over in NWA Joshi Puro Pride before our next match.
Match Number Seven: Lolita (c) (NWAMEX) vs. Act Yasukawa (JPP) vs Zeuxis (NWAMEX) vs Yoshiko (JPP) (Fatal Four-Way Match for the New Territories Tiara)
The challengers all get mixed reactions from the crowd as they come out to the ring. Lolita gets a good pop from male fans and jeers from female fans. Alyson Hau from JPP does the ring introductions. The ref calls for the bell. Yoshiko attacks Act while Zeuxis attacks Lolita. For several minutes there’s a lucha match on one side of the ring and a strong style match on the other side. Zeuxis tries to pin Lolita but Act and Yoshiko both break it up. The match becomes a four-way brawl. It eventually melds into Lolita and Act against Yoshiko and Zeuxis. Like every three-way or four-way match, teamwork lasts until someone tries for a pin attempt. Lolita tries to pin Zeuxis but Act rushes over to break it up. Act and Lolita are now fighting. Yoshiko spots Zeuxis still on the mat. Yoshiko climbs to the top turnbuckle and comes off with a diving senton. Yoshiko covers Zeuxis and gets the three count.
Winner (AND NEW Holder of the New Territories Tiara): Yoshiko!
Yoshiko celebrates her new crown as the crowd politely applauds.
Before our next match we get a nice little vignette highlighting the great women's wrestling in NWA Mexico.
*Ayumi and Marcela walk to the ring with smiles on their faces. The Mexican Women's Champion is given the ring mic.*
Ayumi: In my oipinion, Ayako Hamada deserves a title shot for the Mexican Tag Team Championship. Being a woman, she won't be given the chance to. She's proven herself to be an awesome competitor against Ultimo Guerrero's and his lackeys so in agreement with Fabi Apache, the winner of our championship match will give Hamada San a title shot for the Mexican Women's Championship!
*The fans cheer as Ayumi hands the mic to the ring official. Most of the fans don't pay much attention to Mima Shimoda and Hiroka. Mimi demands that she be given the mic.*
Mima: Ayumi, you're getting a bit ahead of yourself, eh? You have to get past Hiroka and I if you're going to even be healthy enough to defend your title even once. Ayako's not likely to be in good enough shape to fight anyone after the beating that Ultimo Guerrero put on her!
*The fans start booing Mima Shimoda as she throws the ring mic to the ringside area.*
Match Number Eight: Ayumi Kurihara & Marcela vs. Mima Shimoda & Hiroka
First Fall:
Ayumi and Marcela charge at Mima taking her to the mat. Ayumi straddles Mima and starts beating her in the face. Hiroka runs to help her mentor only to get dropkicked by Marcela on the way. The whistle is blown to officially start the match. Hirok rolls out of the ring and is pursued by Marcela. Hiroka takes a chair and throws it at Marcela. When Marcela tries to protect herself by catching it, Hiroka does a dropkick making the chair hit her opponent in the face! Mima leaves the ring trying to catch her breath but is chased by Ayumi Kurihara. Hiroka rolls Marcela into the ring and rolls her up for the pin 1..2..3!! Marcela seems to be out cold! The ring attendants help her out of the ring. The referees are conferring as to what to do. One of them goes over to Ayumim Kurihara to tell her they have decided call the match a no contest. Ayumi shakes her head and insists to fight the rest of the match on her own.
Hiroka beat Marcela by pinfall after the Jap Daminator!
Second Fall:
Ayumi is getting wore down by the combined efforts of the rudas. The fans are cheering her to keep going despite the odds against her. Mima Shimoda and Hiroka are stomping on Ayumi Kuriahara who is trying to block the attacks with her forearms. Fabi Apache runs to the ring and does a baseball slide as she enters. Mima Shimoda falls to the mat. Ayumi Kurihara gets up and does a beautiful kick to Hiroka's head! She goes down and Ayumi locks on a pinfall attempt wchich scores her a pin to end the second fall. The fans are cheering wildly. Taya Valkyrie and Mari Apache run to the ring and drag Fabi Apache to the ringside floor.
Ayumi Kurihara beat Hiroka
Third Fall:
As Taya and Mari continue their assault on Fabi Apache, Mima Shimoda takes advantage of the weakened state of her opponent. Ayako Hamada runs towards the ring with a bandage around her head. She carries a crutch with her and uses it to beat Mari Apache and Taya Valkyrie! Ayumi Kurihara is getting double teamed in the ring by Mimka Shimoda and Hiroka! The rudas each grab a leg of Ayaumi Kurihara and lock her legs while using their arms for extra leverage. Ayumi Kurihara has no choice but to give up!
Mima Shimoda beat Ayumi Kurihara
Winners: Mima Shimoda & Hiroka
*Mima Shimoda is given the ring mic.*
Mima: Do you see what I mean now, Ayumi? It took four of you to come even close to beating Hiroka and I!!
*The fans boo Mima Shimoda and her allies as they leave the ringside area to the backstage area.*
Rush: I've got to see the DVD of this show. This match was so lightning fast paced that I'll need to watch it in slow motion to know what exactly happened.
Cynthia: It's too hard to pick the highlights out for this one! Too many highspots to count! Wait a minute! Here comes the NWAMEX Luchadores promoter, Perro Aguayo Jr. !
Rush: I wonder what that druggie is up to now!
Perro Agauyo Jr.: *clears throat* I'm here to announce the lineup for the Noche del Diablo IPPV live from Detroit, Michigan! Let's take a look at the schedule *gestures to the titan tron*
"Noche del Diablo" IPPV at Joe Louis Arena, Detroit, Michigan: October 30, 2013:
1. Mexican Women's Tag Team Championship Match:
Estrellita y Silueta (C) contra Mima Shimoda y Hiroka
2. Mexican Tag Team Championship Match:
Ultimo Guerrero y Volador Jr. y La Sombra y Ayako Hamada
3. Mexican Women's Championship Match:
Ayumi Kurihara (C) contra Fabi Apache
4. Mexican Light Heavyweight Championship Match:
Rey Cometa (C) contra Areo Star
Perro Aguayo Jr.: The third matchup on the card might look like a typo but Dragon Rojo Jr. is so pathetic that he doesn't deserve a title rematch. The current champs, La Sombra and Volador jr. have decided not to team with each other anymore. Ultimo Guerrero has decided to team with Volador Jr. against La Sombra and a partner of his choice. After seeing how well Ayako Hamada did in the cibernetico match, he's decided that he wants her as his partner. In the spirit of gender equality and all that jazz, we decided to honor his choice of partner for this match. We at NWAMEX take no responsibility for any injuries that Ayako Hamada will most likely endure in this match. Thank you for your time. I hope you all enjoy the rest of the show.
Perro Aguayo Jr. leaves the ring as the crowd murmurs at the explosiveness of this card.
Schiavone: Strong words from Senor Aguayo. JR, you're chomping at the bit here. What's on your mind?
Ross: That Perro Aguayo is a low down sexist son of a bitch if he thinks he can insult one of the greatest female wrestlers in the NWA like that. "Injuries she will likely incur in that match"...was he watching the cibernetico match earlier in the show? She eliminated two male wrestlers and if it wasn't for that slime ball Ultimo Guerrero's dirty tactics she would have won the whole darn thing! I doubt that Mr. Perro wants to admit that because he sure took off like a scalded dog. Good riddance.
Schiavone is speechless and sends it to the back where Joseph Park is standing by with the participants in War Games and the number one contender to the NWA World Heavyweight Championship: "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels. Daniels states that no matter what happens he has led a full and happy career. He has confidence in everyone in this room and that the NWA will never die, regardless of the result tonight.
Our next match is all about respect. As the ring crew sets up a non-roofed steel cage around one of the rings, brilliantly done video package shows the struggle that Sami Zayn has had trying to overcome the "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce. They will meet inside a Steel Cage next.
Match Number Nine: "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce vs. Sami Zayn (Steel Cage Match: If Pearce wins, Zayn goes bald. If Zayn wins, Pearce will admit that Sami's style of wrestling has a place in this business)
These two have battled for months, with Pearce believing that Zayn's style of wrestling has no place in the sport, while Zayn wants to stand up for the new generation of wrestling talent who wrestle the exciting style he brings to the table. It was a bloody and brutal cage match between the two, with an intense brawl breaking out from the second they stepped into the cage. After an early flurry by Zayn, Pearce took full control and brutalised Zayn with punches, busting him wide open, and tossing him into the cage repeatedly. An out of nowhere DDT from Zayn saved him from the Piledriver, and gave him time to fight back, getting the crowd more and more behind him with every blow. Zayn made it to the top of the cage, but Pearce was getting up, so Zayn decided to make sure Pearce stayed down. HE NAILS A TORNADO DDT FROM THE TOP OF THE CAGE! Pearce is out, and Zayn climbs up and out of the cage to win the match, keeping his hair in the process!
Winner: Sami Zayn!
As per the match stipulation, Adam Pearce takes the mic.
Pearce:Sami Zayn, you beat me fair and square, and while it pains me to say it I have no choice. The style of wrestling that you and so many other young stars wrestle has a place in the sport. You proved that tonight, and I respect you Sami Zayn.
The two exchange a handshake showing that the bad blood between them is now over. What a feud this has been, and congratulations to Sami on overcoming the odds.
Before our next match, we get a well done vignette highlighting the great reign of our NWA Women's World Champion.
Match Number Ten: NWA Women's World Champion Kana vs. Manami Toyota (NWA Women's World Title is on the line)
This is a battle of the greatest now versus the greatest ever. Kana has been a very dominant champion since winning the title at Year of the Snake in February. Manami Toyota has faced every great female wrestler in the last 25 yrs and she has beat them all. Kana challenged Manami for this match to prove to herself that she truly is the best there is. Kana comes out first, looking calm and very focused. She climbs into the ring and walks around, pointing her katana out at the crowd. She waits patiently in her corner. Everyone gets to their feet as Manami walks down the ramp to the ring. She steps into the ring, keeping her eyes on Kana. They meet in the middle of the ring, staring at each other as the official introductions are made and pictures taken. They go back to their corners and the ref calls for the bell. They circle around slowly before locking up. Kana kicks Manami in the leg. Manami returns the kick. Kana tries for a spinning back fist but Manami catches her with a drop toe hold. Manami uses her decades of skills to keep Kana on the mat. Kana eventually grabs the rope and rolls out to the floor.
Kana uses every second of the referee’s count and rolls back in. She rolls back out before Manami can do anything. Manami smiles and holds the ropes open for Kana. Kana cautiously climbs onto the ring apron. She fakes stepping through the ropes and kicks Manami in the head. Kana dives through the ropes onto Manami. The ref makes the count …1 …2 Manami kicks out.
Kana stomps on Manami several times. Some of the fans begin booing. Kana lets Manami start to get up before driving her back down with a hip attack. Kana lets Manami start to get up again before hitting her with another hip attack. Manami tries to get up again and is met with a roundhouse kick from Kana. Kana locks Manami in a STF. Manami struggles and manages to grab the bottom rope. The ref tells Kana to break the hold; Kana doesn’t release. The ref counts …1 …2 …3 …4 Kana releases the hold. As Manami is pulling herself up, Kana charges in for a hip attack. Manami drops down, pulling the ropes open; Kana tumbles through to the floor. Manami rolls out to the apron, and stands up. Manami springboards off the middle rope and hits Kana with a moonsault. Manami gets up and climbs back to the apron. When Kana gets up, Manami hits her with a missile dropkick. Manami grabs Kana and rolls her into the ring.
Kana tries to roll out the other side but Manami catches her. Manami pulls Kana into the middle of the ring and catches her in a cradle. Manami rolls Kana over and over and over about six times. Manami gets up. Kana is a bit dizzy as she tries to gets up. Manami scoops up Kana and drives her to the mat with a brainbuster. Manami hooks Kana and gets the three count.
Winner (AND NEW NWA Women's World Champion): MANAMI TOYOTA!
The crowd explodes in applause as Manami is presented with the NWA World Women’s Title belt. Kana looks on in shock before getting to her feet and offering her hand to Manami. They shake hands and Kana leaves the ring. As Manami continues celebrating, all the other women in the NWA come out and line the entrance ramp. Manami walks up the ramp as all the women on the ramp bow in respect.
Before our next match the cage lowers around both rings. It's time for the WAR GAMES! Before the match begins Dave Penzer announces that both teams will remain in the back and send people out in five minute intervals after the first coin flip at the five minute mark of the match.
Match Number Eleven: The Prophecy (Paul London, D'Angelo Dinero, Jack Swagger, "The Angel of Death" Azrieal, and Dan Maff) vs. The Soothsayers (NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan, Johnny Gargano, Samoa Joe, "The Eater of Worlds" Bray Wyatt, and Tyler Black)
Samoa Joe would come out first for Gargano's group while Jack Swagger starts it out for The Prophecy and it looks like both teams are sending their workhorses in to begin this match. The bell rings and these phenomenal athletes go at it toe to toe in the ring closest to the entry way. Joe tries to go with the striking that he is known for but Swagger came back going for the knee and ankle area. At the three and a half minute mark we go to the back where a team of officials is trying to separate both factions Gargano and Dinero are the closest to the ref holding the coin. Gargano calls heads......and it lands on tails! The Prophecy is going to get that all important man advantage when the five minute mark gets here. Back to the ring and Joe realizes he's going to be susceptible to the numbers game soon so he starts going more aggressively after The Real American and lets Swagger taste the steel for the first time. The crowd counts down from ten and when it hits zero The Angel of Death Azrieal comes running from the back. JR calls Azrieal "quick as a hiccup" and he proves it by lighting up Joe and proving a bit too fast for Joe who is hobbling a bit thanks to Jack Swagger's offense. The Prophecy works well together and has Joe down so they play to the crowd a bit, realizing that this match won't end until all ten men enter the match. The clock winds down to zero and the World Junior Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan comes flying out as the crowd screams "YES" at the top of their lungs. Bryan enters the war zone and takes Azrieal out with a BEAUTIFUL cross body. Joe begins to fend off Swagger and both members of The Prophecy soon find themselves on their knees. Joe and Bryan look at each other, nod and start laying in with kicks to their respective opponents while the crowd chants "YES!" with every one of them. Azrieal and Swagger are getting worn out by the kicks when the clock hits zero and Dan Maff comes out to give The Prophecy the man advantage again. Maff comes in like a bull in a china shop and starts hitting everything and everyone in sight. Ross and Schiavone do their best to call what's going on but with five men in the ring it starts to get a little dicey. Swagger manages to land a gutwrench suplex on Bryan that takes him from one ring to the other. Maff's burst of energy is proving to be exactly what The Prophecy needed as the clock counts back from ten. The clock hits zero as Maff sends Bryan crashing into the cage when the lights go out! On the jumbotron a lantern flickers to life and Bray Wyatt is behind it saying "I'm here". "Broken Out in Love" plays as the unorthodox and slightly creepy Bray Wyatt makes his entrance, lantern in hand. The lights come back on and Wyatt is in the ring holding the lantern! Maff rushes him and Wyatt breaks the lantern over his skull! The crowd chants "HOLY S**T!" as Maff writhes around in pain and Wyatt laughs maniacally.
The announcers mention that not even Gargano knew who had Wyatt's allegiance and I guess we know now as Maff has been busted open. JR reminds the fans that this match is not for the weak of heart as Swagger charges Wyatt from behind but Wyatt gets an elbow up. Wyatt tries to send Swagger into the corner but its reversed and Wyatt goes crashing chest first into the turnbuckles. Swagger goes to charge in but Wyatt hangs backward with a sick smile on his face and the distraction allows Bryan to hit a springboard dropkick! He leads the crowd in a "YES!" chant as Wyatt is crawling upside down like a spider over to Swagger. He picks Swagger up and hits Sister Abigail! The clock hits zero as the fourth entrant for The Prophecy comes out, and it's the only man in the entire NWA that might be crazier than Bray Wyatt: Paul London. London has bees on his knees, his face is painted like a dolphin, he has dragons wings drawn on the back of his fat suit, and is wearing multicolored hair underneath a straw hat! He has somehow managed to make fun of every one of his opponents in this match.....and JR rightly says that London truly is goofier than a pet coon. London is definitely the wild card in this match and he goes straight after Daniel Bryan once he enters the war zone. Azrieal is teaming with Swagger who has gotten back to his feet on the barely revived Samoa Joe. Chaos reigns as the five minutes seem to fly by. Bray Wyatt gets busted open after getting sent into the ropes and getting blasted in the face by a piece of his broken latern by Dan Maff. Bray is bleeding like a sieve and he seems to be laughing about it. The crowd chants "You Sick F***" at Wyatt. The five minute period ends and Tyler Black hits the ring looking to provide a spark for his team and comes in like the proverbial house afire; Stunning (and possibly killing) Azrieal with Avada Kedavra and connecting with a Paroxysm on London before getting run over by Jack Swagger. Joe is bleeding, Swagger is bleeding, about the only person who hasn't spilled their DNA on the canvas is London and god only knows what would happen to that mixed bag of nuts if that happened. The Prophecy and Soothsayers are evenly matched and most of the guys are moving slowly. The five minute period ends and the final member of The Prophecy, D'Angelo Dinero, comes in carrying a steel chair and goes right after Samoa Joe before getting taken out by a HUGE missile dropkick from The American Dragon. Dinero sends Daniel into the ropes but gets turned around and introduced to Sister Abigail! She's a mean jezzebell isnt she? Daniel Bryan comes off the top turnbuckle.....Diving Headbutt! The crowd begins it's fifth "YES!" chant of the night as Daniel signals for the Yes Lock but gets stopped by an over the head belly to belly suplex from the former academic and athletic all american oklahoman. Maff goes to work on Joe, Azrieal concentrates on Black and the rest of The Prophecy picks their spots while Dinero cashes in on his leadership privileges and directs traffic.
The crowd counts down from ten and Johnny Gargano absolutely flies to the the ring to help his team. He takes Dinero by surprise.....HURTS DONUT! He hit the Hurts Donut as Howard Finkel states that the match beyond has begun. Gargano goes after Swagger who is struggling with Bray Wyatt and manages to buy Wyatt some time. Johnny's prescence has managed to breath new life into his team as they rally behind the crowd. Gargano hits Hurts Donut on Dan Maff as Daniel Bryan has Azrieal locked in Cattle Mutilation! This could be the end of the match! "Faithless" plays! What the hell is going on? "The Panama City Playboy" Adam Cole and his firey-haired floozy Eva Marie have come down! They're not supposed to be involved in this match! Tyler Black had London in a front chancery until the music started playing but now he's at the cage barking and yelping at Cole who has a smirk on his face. Black is so preoccupied with his foe that he doesn't see Dinero lower his knee pads.....DDE INTO THE CAGE! BY GOD THAT KILLED HIM! London reaches into his fat suit.....and pulls out hand cuffs! WHO KEEPS GIVING THIS CRAZY BASTARD ACCESS TO HAND CUFFS? He breaks up Cattle Mutilation and hand cuffs the junior heavyweight champ to the bottom rope of the farthest ring from Black and gets blindsided by Bray Wyatt who tries for Sister Abigail but gets clocked by Swagger, given a gutwrench power bomb, and handcuffed to the cage in the same ring as Daniel Bryan. This process repeats itself fairly easily on Joe who has been knocked cold for some time. All that's left is Gargano and Black. Dinero offers the men a chance to surrender but they don't. All five members of The Prophecy swarm Gargano and lay into him. Gargano fights back almost with almost superhuman ability but can't hold on. Every time Black tries to assist he gets beaten back by the muscle of Maff and Swagger. Eventually Gargano is cuffed to the ropes in the same ring as Black. The Prophecy circles Black like a pack of deranged hyenas. Adam Cole stands and laughs openly at what is transpiring in the ring. London leaves for a moment and places the unused chair in front of a corner as Dinero grabs a mic. In a scene eerily reminiscient of Fall Brawl '97, London takes Black to the turnbuckle in front of the chair and hooks him on top of it. Dinero says that Black will meet his maker if The Soothsayers won't quit. By god what does he mean? Gargano looks into Dinero's remorseless eyes and eventually surrenders. Dinero smirks, slaps Gargano and tells London to go through with it....LONDON HITS GOD'S LAST GIFT FROM THE TOP ROPE ON THE CHAIR! HE KILLED HIM! I SWEAR AS GOD AS MY WITNESS PAUL LONDON BROKE TYLER BLACK'S NECK DAMN NEAR IN HALF!
Winners: The Prophecy
The Prophecy has won War Games with a HUGE assist from Adam Cole. Cole and Eva Marie back up the ramp as Adam shouts at Gargano "I told you so!" EMTs flock to Tyler Black's side and try to stabilize him as Gargano glares at Adam Cole with a vengeful gleam in his eye. What will become of The Prophecy and will Adam Cole's day of reckoning come in ten days inside the confines of the Elimination Chamber?
As the crowd settles down, Jim Ross and Tony Schiavone thank everyone in Miami for hosting this show before taking back the serious tone and sending us to a video package that does a phenomenal job of showcasing this six month long feud between champion and challenger: The Anti-Christ vs. The Fallen Angel, with the fate of the National Wrestling Alliance at stake.
Before the main event; NWA President Dustin Smith, dressed in a five thousand dollar Armani suit, comes down to the ring. The announce team offers him a headset and he politely declines, choosing instead to stand near the barricade away from the announce table and bell man to watch what could be the final match in the illustrious history of the NWA.
The legendary Michael Buffer is in the ring to be our special guest ring announcer for the final match of the evening. "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels comes down first to a delirious crowd response. Main Event: "The Anti-Christ" Kyle Matthews (c) vs. "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels (Submission or Surrender Match for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship)
Daniels and Matthews circle each other for a bit before Daniels stops and holds out his hand looking for a code of honor of sorts. Matthews walks up to him and shakes his hand before saying "Prepare to die. Old Man." and slaps him across the face! Matthews then starts firing on Daniels like a man possessed with rights and lefts backing Daniels into a corner and unloading with a series of vicious knife-edge chops that echo throughout the arena. Matthews turns away after about five chops and shouts "THIS IS YOUR HERO!" before going back on the offensive with a forearm but Daniels blocks and puts Matthews into the corner and starts serving up plates of chops of his own to the delight of the crowd. Suddenly the crowd starts cheering and pointing to the entrance. The camera pans to the stage and Chris Dickinson from NWA Titans comes out! Action momentarily stops as Matthews stares at his long time adversary who doesn't go any farther than the bottom of the ramp, asks a production guy for a chair, and sits down to watch. Action resumes and the competitors fight back with a renewed vigor now that it seems they have an even bigger audience. Matthews starts to work on the arm with punches, kicks and variations on armbreakers. Daniels fires back with strikes of his own to the body trying to weaken the core of his opponent. As Daniels tries for the first submission hold of the match The Pistols from Hybrid Pro and led by Matt Taven come out. Daniels locks in a Camel Clutch but Matthews is laughing hysterically. He screams "is that all you got?" before standing up and falling back, breaking the hold. Matthews turns to the entrance way, and asks Matt Taven if he thinks he could do a better job before turning into a stiff right from Daniels. Daniels sends Matthews into the ropes and telegraphs a back body drop. Matthews stops and laughs before kicking Daniels in the face and hitting a suplex. Matthews goes out of the ring and holds looks under it, finding a table and a few chairs. As this is going on The Group and The Prophecy both come down, keeping a respectful distance from one another. Matthews throws the chairs in the ring, sets the table up on the outside and slides back into the ring where Daniels has gotten up and meets him with a scoop slam. Matthews gets back up and is sent back down with a series of clotheslines and finally a delayed vertical suplex and grabs the arm a bit. Daniels gets back up, brings Matthews over to the ropes and hooks him....what's he going to try? Daniels looks like he's going to try to front suplex the champ over the top rope through the table! Daniels tries to pick him up but the champ, sensing danger blocks. Daniels tries again but Matthews manages to block again so Daniels turns it into a ddt! The Fallen Angel goes to the top and points to the sky looking for a flying elbow and takes off but Matthews manages to grab one of the chairs he brought in earlier and hit Daniels! There's a sick crack at the impact of flesh, bone and steel as the NWA Mexico roster, led by it's champion , comes out to watch the match. Matthews thinks about signaling for the Hidaka Lock but chooses to pick a writhing Daniels up and put him in the corner. Matthews goes over and grabs a chair and puts it over his adversary's head and signals for the Slurpee Kick.....IT CONNECTS! HOLY SHIT!
Matthews takes Daniels, who is now bleeding from the impact of the chair, and says "Time to die old man"....before locking in the Hidaka Lock on that injured arm! Daniels is screaming in pain as the crowd is screaming itself hoarse for it's hero. Matthews is screaming "TAP OR I'LL BREAK IT OFF!" at Daniels repeatedly as Christopher desperately tries to make the ropes but the ref doesn't break the hold! THERE'S NO DQ! NO ROPE BREAKS! COULD THIS BE THE END? The entire South Beach locker room, led by Low Ki, now comes out as Daniels is maneuvering under the bottom rope. How is this going to help? Daniels slips out of the ring and manages to catch Matthews' throat on the bottom rope! Daniels is standing as he chokes the life out of Matthews who refuses to break the hold! Matthews is purple! Daniels is screaming in pain! The ref is checking Daniels for submission or surrender when the Hidaka Lock breaks! Matthews has been choked out by the bottom rope! The crowd is trying to channel it's collective energy into Daniels who is trying to shake some feeling into his arm. While both competitors are recovering Cody Rhodes leads the entire CPW roster out to the entrance way and Kana starts to lead JPP's roster out. Daniels pulls Matthews out and signals for Last Rites on the floor but Matthews counters into a swinging neckbreaker! The world champ groggily gets to his feet and drags his foe to his feet before rolling him in the ring. Matthews sets Daniels up on the top turnbuckle near the table and says he's going to super plex Daniels through the table! Daniels gets hooked but blocks and starts fighting for all he's worth. Daniels manages to stun Matthews and looks at the table before holding his hands in front of him in prayer....what in God's name is he thinking about doing? Daniels hooks both of the champs arms and jumps off the top rope......ANGEL'S WINGS THROUGH THE TABLE! ANGEL'S WINGS THROUGH THE TABLE! SON OF A BITCH! Daniels just sent the world champ straight to hell! The crowd is screaming "HOLY SHIT" at the top of their lungs as both men are motionless on the floor. The NWA Titans and Hybrid Pro rosters come out to the stage as the ref is checking to see whether either man is conscious. Kyle stirs and he's got a laceration across his forehead from the table. Daniels is moving around slowly and eventually both men roll in the ring, both faces wearing the crimson mask. Champion and Challenger struggle to their feet as the crowd starts chanting "THIS IS AWESOME!" repeatedly. They start trading bombs right in the middle of the ring with the crowd chanting "BOO" and "YAY" depending on who is throwing the punch. These men are clawing at one another to keep each other up and it's clear that they are leaving it all on the line. Matthews pushes off and lands a right with everything that he can muster. Daniels tries to answer back but Matthews looks like he ducks although he might have been trying to get his bearings. Either way Daniels misses and Matthews grabs Daniels around the waist and tries for a german suplex, but Daniels flips out! Christopher spins Kyle around...Reverse STO! That's nice but where does he go from here? Daniels smiles and locks in the Koji Clutch! DANIELS HAS THE CHAMP TRAPPED IN THE KOJI CLUTCH IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING! THE ANTI-CHRIST IS STRUGGLING! WILL HE TAP? WILL HE TAP? The crowd is delirious screaming for Kyle to tap. Both men look ready to pass out! Kyle is clawing.....AND HE TAPS! HE TAPS! KYLE MATTHEWS HAS TAPPED!
Winner and NEW NWA World Heavyweight Champion: "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels
Daniels did it! Daniels did it! Christopher Daniels' half year oddyssey to redemption is complete and it comes via making one of the best NWA World Heavyweight Champions in recent memory tap out! The crowd has lost their mind as the ring starts filling with people. Nick Patrick hands the NWA World Heavyweight Championship to Christopher Daniels who is sobbing in the middle of the ring. Fall Brawl goes off the air with stars from all around the NWA shaking the new champion's hand and embracing him. Thank you to everyone who helped make this super show possible and Good Night from Miami!
