Ladder Match for the CPW Television Championship
Rob Van Dam
-vs-
The Miz (c)
Result : Rob Van Dam defeated The Miz in 13:39 to win the CPW Television Championship.
= This match came from the last show that went down were both RVD and Miz claimed to be champion. While in the record books, Miz is the champion, RVD laid claim and Edge said that tonight, there would be a winner. Both men took the other seriously enough to want to hurt him. The match saw Miz use the ladder as skillfully as RVD did, and even attempt to put RVD through a ladder in a very dangerous manner. To RVD's credit, he was able to take everything that The Miz was able to dish out (top of the ladder Superplex, Ring to floor front face release suplex, ect) and managed to beat the determined champion up the ladder. Once at the top it was a race to see who would stay on top of the ladder, as both men started throwing lefts and rights at each other. In the end, it was RVD who, as Miz was attempting another high risk move was able to somehow shake off Miz, slam him into the top of the ladder, then grab the still hooked title belt and smack Miz with it! The Miz fell from the ladder, to the ring below, prompting the announcers to wonder if Miz had died on impact, as he didn't move until AFTER the match was over, prompting EMT's to be summoned.

Both men approached this match with caution, as they knew each other so well. Once the action started, it was a wrestling clinic. At some points in the match, it looked like they were reaching out for the tag, only to realized the man who he was trying to reach out for, was the man who had just dropped him like a sack of potatoes. Alberto Del Rio

= At first Kyle scoffed at being forced to come out to a place he felt was beneath him, and then to face a person he has already beaten, not only for pride, but for the NWA World Title. As Kyle started to head back up the ramp, Alberto Del Rio gave chase and brought him back to the ring. Del Rio was the aggressor in the match, and it showed that he had months and months of pent up frustration that he was unleashing on Matthews. As the match progressed, Kyle would bend and down right break the rules to get ahead. Near the end, it looked like Del Rio was about to claim victory, that is until Jack Swagger came out and used Matthews chair and cracked it across the head of Del Rio, as the ref was tending to the down and nearly out Mathews! As Del Rio lay in the mat, blood trickling from a cut, Kyle crawled over and put one arm across Del Rio as Swagger was screaming at him to get the cover, urging his partner to hurry up! After Matthews got the three count, Swagger entered the ring and targeted Del Rios injured shoulder. Vordell Walker rushed down and made the save, sending Swagger and Matthews from the ring. Walker told Del Rio that they may not like each other, but they had better start trusting each other! With Del Rio's past, he has only one person he can count on... Del Rio and Walker shook hands, as the fans looked on.

As the match neared the ending, the masked man who has been a thorn in the CPW Champions side made his presence felt, once again, as he antaginized Cody from ringside. What the mennace to the CPW Champion didn't know was that he was too close to the riong and Cody droped the NWA Champion witha Cross Rhodes, then reached out and grabed the top of the mask! As Cody was pulling the mask nearly off, the man blasted Cody with a roll of quartes, knocking him uncontious! The MAsked man pulled his mask back into place and pulled Rhodes out to the arena floor, just as the ref turned around from checking on Daniles.
