The show opens with a video montage of the highlights of last nights tournament matches, before the show cuts to PM Nigel McGuinness talking about how exciting last night was. Nigel would run down the fact that the 8 winners from last night would eventually come down to 2 with the winner of it all being crowned the champion tonight! Nigel wished everyone luck tonight as the tournament continued!
BLOCK A FINAL
Adrian "Lionheart" McCallum vs. Magnus
Adrian "Lionheart" McCallum vs. Magnus
Magnus has a very mean streak, he's a guy who will do whatever it takes to get what he wants and that boded very badly for Lionheart. The crowd roared with disapproval when Magnus gouged the eyes of McCallum getting the ref to threaten Magnus with a DQ if it happened again. Magnus was in the driver seat using his size and impressive speed to control how the match paced. Adrian was able to come out of no where with a big time spear taking Magnus out of the air when he attempted a leap frog attempt. Lionheart was able to make a come back with the momentum shift in his favor as Magnus looked dazed and confused. Lionheart would score with a rock bottom looking for a frog splash to finish Magnus off, but Magnus would roll out of the way at the last second letting McCallum crash and burn. Magnus tried his best to keep McCallum down trying to finish the match off with a Mag Daddy Driver but McCallum would slip free and hit another Rock bottom, before climbing to the top hitting the frog splash this time to pick up the extremely hard fought victory.
BLOCK B FINAL
"East End Tough Man" Sha Samuels vs. "The Future of UK Wrestling" Drew McIntyre
"East End Tough Man" Sha Samuels vs. "The Future of UK Wrestling" Drew McIntyre
The ref was pretty hard on McIntyre due to how Drew won last nights match with a low blow, so he was under a microscope in this one allowing for Samuels to really get the advantage. Samuels still had the support of the crowd behind him as he peppered Drew with right hands that would leave welts across the chest of the self proclaimed Future of UK Wrestling! The dynamic of the match changed when Alex Shane walked down to ringside pulling up a chair and getting a first hand look at the match. It didn't seem as though either man knew what to make of Shane's presence so the match continued with both men keeping an eye out for the unexpected. Samuels looked to put the match away lifting up McIntyre in a fireman's carry but Alex Shane would stand up and distract the ref allowing McIntyre to slip free blasting Samuels in the back of the head with a brutal elbow before spiking him with the Future Shock DDT for the victory.
After the match McIntyre would look on puzzled as Shane would simply walk away.
BLOCK C FINAL
Dave Mastiff vs. "The Football Hooligan" Danny Burch
Dave Mastiff vs. "The Football Hooligan" Danny Burch
Burch was in for the fight of his life as he faced off against Dave Mastiff, who is arguably the most intimidating man in NWA UK. Burch would throw everything at Mastiff who would constantly punish Burch after each flurry of offense, making this look like a very one sided contest. Burch tried to slide out of the ring to catch a breath but Mastiff followed him out trying to keep the advantage. Burch would take off running and sliding back into the ring trying to keep his distance, luring Mastiff into a trap hitting the London Bridge on Dave as he tried climbing back into the ring. This was the first time in the match that Burch looked to have a chance in hell of coming away with this one, and he continued to press that advantage trying to keep the massive Mastiff from getting back to his feet. Dave is a powerhouse however and was able to shove Burch away enough to get back to his feet, where he tried for a lariat but Burch would counter with an arm bar pulling back for dear life really wrenching the old in the middle of the ring eventually forcing Mastiff to tap out! Burch was able to pull off an absolute stunning victory and you could tell that even he was in disbelief.
BLOCK D FINAL
Wade Barrett vs. "The Boss" Johnny Moss
Wade Barrett vs. "The Boss" Johnny Moss
The former bare knuckle boxer on loan from NWA South Beach went one on one against the former King of UK wrestling, Johnny Moss. This is a revival but Moss has to remember his time before wearing the crown, beating Kincaide for the honor in the past. This tournament in his mind belongs to him, and it gave him so much confidence in a fight with someone as dominating as Barrett. Barrett's hands put welts on opponents, and Moss is no different as Wade looked to beat Moss as well as take the crown back to South Beach. Barrett tried for Wasteland a bit to early and Moss was all over him with a sleeper hold hanging on to the near 7 footer, but Barrett would sandwich Moss in the corner over and over finally getting "The Boss" to break the hold. Barrett looked scary and could you imagine if the first king of the revived NWA UK would immediately take the crown to a place like Florida, USA? Moss may be a bad guy but this London crowd was behind him in this case and he was eventually able to hit a huge german suplex on Barrett to pick up the win. The crowd tried to cheer on Moss but he would only flip them off as he made his way to the back.
NWA UK CROWN SEMI-FINAL BOUT
Adrian "Lionheart" McCallum vs. "The Future of UK Wrestling" Drew McIntyre
Adrian "Lionheart" McCallum vs. "The Future of UK Wrestling" Drew McIntyre
Lionheart looked to be still suffering from his battle in the opening contest with Magnus favoring his ribs as he went against an odds on favorite in McIntyre. Drew was all over the ribs of McCallum trying to take advantage of the injury forcing Adrian to protect himself and try to hang on in this match. Alex Shane would come out again pulling up a chair again watching the match, which left McCallum watching to see if Shane would be a factor like he was earlier in the night when Drew went over on Sha Samuels. These two Scots put on a great match for the London crowd, and even though Lionheart is a Scot the London crowd were behind him as they taunted McIntyre, it didn't make a ton of sense but it's wrestling after all. McIntyre was able to score with the FutureShock DDT but somehow Lionheart was able to get his shoulder off the mat and stay in the match. McCallum looked worn out but he was still fighting and eventually nailed a spear on McIntyre getting up and rallying the crowd as he sized Drew up for a rock bottom. Alex Shane would make his move to save what looks like his new client but after an exchange between McIntyre and McCallum behind the refs back, Adrian would whip Drew into Shane knocking him off the apron. Drew would walk into a Rock Bottom from McCallum who would ascend to the top and score with the frog splash to make it to the finals.
NWA UK CROWN SEMI-FINAL BOUT
"The Football Hooligan" Danny Burch vs. "The Boss" Johnny Moss
Burch was still feeding off the excitement of pulling off the huge victory over Dave Mastiff to make it to the semi-finals, while Moss came into this match still welted up badly from his fight with Barrett. Moss may have gotten the fans support in his D Block final but now that the crown is safe he's back to being the douche bag the fans love to hate. These two men are as tough as they come and embody what UK toughness is all about. The wrestling was solid and the brawling was brutal, Moss would complain to the ref on occasion about being the former wearer of the crown but the ref reminded him that this is a new era. Burch would get the crowd chanting and singing something that is unique and awesome that you can only find in UK wrestling. Moss was able to hit a german suplex but Burch was able to kick out dazed but still in the match as he tried to make a comeback but Moss was all over him hitting another german suplex for another near fall. "The Football Hooligan" would spit in the face of Moss and start throwing wild punches trying to rally and build up momentum but Moss would cut him off and almost used a running powerslam, Burch would slip free and dropkick Moss in the back sending him to the apron. Danny would wear down Moss and work his way into spiking Moss with a London Bridge suspension DDT but Moss would somehow kick out! Moss would have to use a third german suplex to finally put Burch down and advance to face McCallum for the UK crown!
NWA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE BOUT
The Leaders of the New School(Zack Sabre Jr. & Marty Scurll) vs. The Rockstars of Wrestling(c)(Jimmy Rave & John Morrison)
The Leaders of the New School(Zack Sabre Jr. & Marty Scurll) vs. The Rockstars of Wrestling(c)(Jimmy Rave & John Morrison)
The crowd would pop for the challengers, the New School are a couple of young good looking guys who have so much talent. The London fans tried to make lots of noise to get in the heads of the Rockstars of Wrestling, hoping that the UK team can wrestle the World Tag Titles from the Americans. The New School started off on fire but the tag champions are recognized as the best in the world for a reason and soon cut Zack Jr. off from his corner as they imposed their will with quick tags. Sabre Jr. used a superkick to make separation and attempt at a tag to Marty but was quickly pulled back into the wrong part of town where the Rockstars continued to beat on the fan favorite getting the crowd worked up. Zack was able to hit a jumping enziguri on Rave and this time was able to make the hot tag to Scurll! Marty was in the drivers seat as he fought off the tag champs by himself before Morrison would level him with a roundhouse kick! The match broke down with both teams fighting in the ring, complete anarchy reigning as the ref tried so hard to restore order. The ref tried to organize things but the Rockstars took advantage with Morrison hitting another roundhouse kick and Rave planting Scurll with a pedigree, when the ref came around all he could do is count to three as the Rockstars retained.
NWA UK CROWN BOUT
Adrian "Lionheart" McCallum vs. "The Boss" Johnny Moss
This match had so much big fight atmosphere as both men have toppled some of the best in UK wrestling to make it to this point. McCallums ribs were taped heavily as he came into this match ready to give everything to be crowned the king of UK wrestling. Moss didn't look much better welted up with the early stages of bruising on his body. The opening was a slow build with both men trying to conserve what energy they had left as well as find out just how weak each others weakness actually are. Moss went to work on the ribs of McCallum pretty early on trying to pull the wrapping off even using it to try to choke the life out of Lionheart with the ref almost DQing him. Moss would get in the refs face daring him to end a match this prestigious like that. That was the end of trying to keep order in this match, this one had to see a winner at all costs. McCallum had to pull himself up with the ropes hanging onto Moss just to throw punches as he kept close to "The Boss" showing just why he's called Lionheart! Moss was able to hit a german suplex on McCallum a move he's put away many opponents with but McCallum was able to get his shoulder off the mat and keep himself in the match. Moss stalked McCallum feeling victory within his grasp but instead got nearly torn in half by a spear from Adrian who got a two count and evened the playing field. McCallum would pull himself up again egging on Moss to get up as he attempted a Rock Bottom but Moss would fight out and eventually spin McCallum up and over trying for a tombstone but McCallum would wiggle free and end up spiking Moss with a tombstone! The ref's hand came to 2.999 but Moss was able to kick out looking like he was seeing stars but he still had the where with all to get his shoulder off the canvas. Moss used his iron grip to apply another waist lock looking to german suplex the Lionheart but McCallum was able to wrap his leg around Moss's protecting himself, using elbows to daze Moss. Adrian used a desperation Rock Bottom and it left both men laying in the ring exhausted and the ref almost got to the double DQ and even he didn't want that to happen. Moss and McCallum were both up at the same time and they exchanged hands in the middle of the ring with the crowd cheering and chanting wildly with every hand McCallum threw and booing and screaming at every hand that Moss would return with! Moss got the advantage whipping McCallum off the ropes but McCallum would come back in with a big time spear in the middle of the ring that would be the finish to the match as Lionheart would become the King of NWA UK!
The crowd was electric as the Throne was brought out to the top of the ramp, looking something a kin to the Game of Thrones style Throne. "Lord" William Regal would stand by the Throne while NWA President Dustin Smith would hold the pillow with the NWA UK Crown glimmering on top of it. Security would help McCallum up the ramp, but Lionheart would shrug them off wanting to make the rest of the walk on his own as he plops down exhausted onto the throne. After some words from PM Nigel McGuinness, William Regal would present the crown placing it upon the brow of McCallum. The show would end with the new King seated in his throne with the London crowd cheering wildly for the new champion!
