NWA Hybrid Pro TV 10/01/2013
Magnus D comes out alongside his Elite Security Force to begin the show.
Magnus: "I feel in a rather generous mood today wrestling fans. After all I've always been a man of the people, give 'em what they want that's what I always say. So tonight I will give you all a match that I know you want to see. Yes, it will be a six man tag team match as The Texus take on the most elite band of security anyone has ever assembled, The Elite Security Force!"
The fans are pleased with this decision, what a matchup that will be.
"Of course with the way my security force demolished Mr London last week, its practically a handicap match. And by handicap match I mean The Texus are handicapped by having him on their side. Its a shame Daniel Bryan didn't see the light and refuse to forgive Paul London for his actions in The Prophecy, because if he had kicked him to the kerb it might be him facing Christopher Daniels at Starrcade."
Before Magnus can say any more The Texus make their way down to the ring.
London: "You failed to mention Magnus that your security force failed, they couldn't take me out and I'm still here, still standing and still chasing my dream. And they aren't going to stop me. I'm sick of this crap, I have a World Heavyweight Title match in a few weeks time, the only shot I may ever get, what have I got to stop this damn thing?"
Magnus: "Before I address that point Mr London, let me make one thing perfectly: my security force did exactly what I told them to last week. See I had a last minute change of plan: rather than take you out completely, I want to drag this pretence out that you might actually make it to Starrcade for a bit longer. Now Paul, you ask me what you've got to do, well if you and The Texus manage to win tonight I might just tell you. But be careful what you wish for, you might just get it!"
Magnus and his security leave as we have an intriguing situation developing here. What is Magnus D's offer to London? Will we find out? I guess we only will if The Texus can defeat The Elite Security Force here tonight.
John Cena vs Vordell Walker
This one never got started, and for one hell of a weird reason. Walker was in the ring ready as we saw John Cena on the titantron walking towards the entrance, getting a considerable pop in the process. But instead of heading out, Cena just keep on walking straight to the parking lot, gets in his car and leaves. The fans and everyone else is confused as the referee starts counting, and Vordell Walker wins via countout. OK then.
Winner- Vordell Walker by countout
Sami Zayn then comes out. He offers Vordell Walker a shot at the Hybrid Pro Heavyweight Title as compensation for John Cena not being bothered to compete. Walker accepts and we have an impromptu title match!
NWA Hybrid Pro Heavyweight Title Match
Sami Zayn vs Vordell Walker
An unexpected yet very fun matchup here, Walker has already proven in the past that he is just as capable in the air as he is on the mat, and showed some of that aerial prowess here against Zayn. Yet the obvious strategy for Walker was to make this a mat based matchup to counteract Zayn's spectacular high flying ability, which he indeed tried to do by working on Zayn's arm (to setup for the Juji-Gatame). Zayn is on a roll however, and it was difficult for Walker to keep up with him on the day, which eventually led to Zayn retaining his title after a Springboard Tornado DDT.
Winner- Sami Zayn
Walker and Zayn shook hands post match, but you have to wonder if Cena will retaliate next week. Why did he just walk out rather than fight Walker?
Samoa Joe is backstage with Lenny Leonard.
Leonard: Samoa Joe, your recent challenge for the NWA World Heavyweight Title was accepted by Christopher Daniels. When do you plan on chasing in your title shot.
Joe: Well if Christopher Daniels were here tonight, I would face him one on one right here, right now. But the NWA World champ has a busy schedule, so he couldn't make it tonight. However next week sounds about as good a time as any for Samoa Joe to once again become the NWA World Heavyweight Champion.
Leonard: Very good Joe. Now Adam Cole also had some words for you via a video promo on the South Beach website, do you have a response?
Joe: Adam Cole, you say that your going to press charges against Samoa Joe. Well I hope you have a damn good lawyer, because I have two means of ensuring justice is served. They are called my left and right fists, and they always ensure I get the verdict I want! If you are as injured as you say you are Adam and your not just scared of fighting Samoa Joe, then surely you'll be far too injured to compete in the North American Title match at Starrcade, which is a damn shame as I was going to take great pleasure in kicking your ass. Whether or not you man up Adam, there is one thing about this match that I can say for certain: I am Samoa Joe, I am pro wrestling and I will be your next NWA North American Champion!
Before our next match, The Young Bucks join the commentary team. The winner of this matchup faces them for the Tag Team Titles next week on Hybrid Pro TV.

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) vs The Hybrid Athletes (Kyle Matthews and Jack Swagger)
The Hybrid Athletes have made no secret of their desire to obtain tag team gold, and if they could defeat The Usos then they would have a shot at the Hybrid Pro Tag Team Titles. However The Usos are fuming after the way The Young Bucks retained their titles at Revolution vs Pistols and want another shot, and used that anger and determination to full effect to take the fight to The Hybrid Athletes. Matthews and Swagger are mega talented however, they were able to slow down the pace of the match and ground The Usos, outwrestling them, with The Usos relying on double team moves for the most part. Matthews would manage to lock the Hidaka Lock on Jey while Swagger dropped Jimmy with the Doctor Bomb, leading to a victory via submission for The Hybrid Athletes.
Winners- The Hybrid Athletes
The Young Bucks leave the commentary table, and offer handshakes to The Hybrid Athletes, who laugh in the faces of their opponents for next week. The Young Bucks shrug and then attack The Usos! They are looking to finish off what they started last week. BUT MATTHEWS AND SWAGGER MAKE THE SAVE! Swagger drops Matt with a Doctor Bomb as Matthews nails Nick with a Slurpee Kick in the corner. The crowd aren't sure what to make of this as The Young Bucks leave. The Hybrid Athletes then respond to a handshake offer by The Usos with a double flick of the bird before they themselves leave. This is confusing, I guess it just means that The Hybrid Athletes wanted to get one over The Young Bucks ahead of their title match next week.
The Revolution make their way to the ring with Johnny Gargano having something to say. Drew Gulak is notably missing.
Gargano: The death of one of the two biggest factions in the NWA is drawing ever closer, but something is still troubling me. Now my man Jimmy Jacobs definitely crossed a line last week with his post match assault on Samuray Del Sol, but so did Sami Callihan with what he did to Drew Gulak, who is still recovering from his injuries. Thats why I have another proposal for you Matt Taven, if you'd be so kind as to bring your Pistols out here.
Matt Taven and The Pistols oblige, albeit they only go as far as the ramp. Samuray Del Sol is notably missing from their lineup.
Taven: I'm here, whats the proposal?
Gargano: While our faction can definitely settle our differences at Starrcade, I don't feel that these new issues can be resolved so easily. Thats why I propose that next week on Hybrid Pro TV, when both of our injured members have had time to recover, we have a No DQ tag team matchup: Samuray Del Sol and Sami Callihan of The Pistols vs Jimmy Jacobs and Drew Gulak of my Revolution. This will in turn allow our more violent members settle their differences so that the score can well and truly be settled at Starrcade.
Taven: I accept, after what Jimmy Jacobs did to Samuray Del Sol the very least he and Sami Callihan can do is return the favour. When its all said and done, The Revolution will be minus 2 members when Sami and Samuray are finished with them!
The Pistols leave, as Taven is a man of few words this week it seems. Gargano and The Revolution pose for the fans before they depart, and what a tag match we have next week!
The Elite Security Force (Cibernetico, Chris Masters and Luke Gallows) vs The Texus (Paul London, Daniel Bryan and Brian Kendrick)
A big main event, and with a big stipulation: if The Texus win then London will learn how he can gain the blessing of Magnus D to face Christopher Daniels at Starrcade. The Texus were considerably outsized by their opponents, with The Elite Security Force using this to their full advantage by overpowering them. Indeed The Texus had to take to the air to stay in the matchup, in addition to using their ring smarts to take advantage of any opportunity that came their way. Kendrick was isolated from his corner for a large portion of this match, then made a hot tag to Bryan and London who cleaned house with some fine double team moves, which they followed up with some dives to the outside that took out the entire security force. The match broke down and we were left with London and Cibernetico in the ring as per last week, with Cibernetico looking to break London both physically and mentally. He went for the Garra Cibernetica, but London reverses to a rollup, 1-2-3, LONDON WINS IT!
Winners- The Texus
Cibernetico tries to attack London post match, but the rest of The Texus are in and he back down. Magnus D then comes out onto the ramp.
Magnus: "Well done Mr London, it appears you have more fight left in you than I expected. No matter, because what I have planned for you next week will bring an end to this thing one way or another. You want to know what you need to do to earn my blessing? Its very simple Paul, all you need to do is win 1 little matchup. However, this isn't any ordinary matchup, because your not just facing one opponent. Nor are you facing two. No Paul, you will be fighting 3 men in a gauntlet match, my Elite Security Force! "
Paul London looks more than a little worried by that, that could be a near impossible matchup for him to win.
"Win that matchup Paul, and I swear on Bob Backlund that both me and my security guards will play no part in your title match at Starrcade. But lose, and you must give up your title match to the winner of a very special matchup that will also be taking place on Hybrid Pro TV next week: BETWEEN DANIEL BRYAN AND BRIAN KENDRICK!"
Magnus and his security leave laughing away to themselves as The Texus eye each other warily. Can London trust his two best friends not to turn on him with a potential main event title match at Starrcade on the line? Or will The Texus hold firm to this final threat and see London finally secure his dream match with Christopher Daniels for the World Heavyweight Title? We will find out next week on Hybrid Pro TV, see you then folks!
