Don't worry everyone it's not what it looks like...but I got your attention didn't I? NWA South Beach will be having it's quarterly "go home" (get it?) show before Starrcade next Sunday, January 19th. Unlike most South Beach, "go home" shows, THIS one comes with a few loose ends to tie up. Advertised:
So tune in as NWA South Beach completes it's road to Starrcade on January 19th from the Pensacola Civic Center.
- Bully Ray has issued a challenge to five territories in the NWA to send one person each. Bully is probably the least liked person in South Beach history. What does Wrestling's Biggest Bully have planned; and if it's a tag match of some kind, who in South Beach would be dumb enough to trust him?
- Super Dragon, Samoa Joe and Harry Smith have been summoned to South Beach one last time before Starrcade. NWA North American Champion Dolph Ziggler and Tyler Black are denying any knowledge of this invitation, and the last time we saw Adam Cole he was in a hospital with his status for Starrcade unknown. What's going on and who will all be going into this Tables, Ladders and Chairs match? Who will London be calling to?
- CM Punk and Jay Lethal are on a not so respectful collision course that will come to a head at Wembley Stadium. The animosity is so bad that they have requested to be on separate flights to England for the show. Will "The Best in the World" and "The Black Machismo" have one last beach brawl before heading across the pond?
- New NWA South Beach Champion Chris Hero has extended an invitation to NWA Hybrid Pro Heavyweight Champion Sami Zayn in a friendly match since neither man has a match at Starrcade. Will the former generic luchadore accept the challenge?
- Finally we come to the end of an era in NWA South Beach as NWA World Heavyweight Champion "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels will be retiring following his match at Starrcade. He, however wants one final match in South Beach against one of his best friends in the wrestling business: "The World Warrior" Low Ki. If he can make it past Samoa Joe from Hybrid Pro in January 18th, we'll be having an NWA World Heavyweight Title match between two men that have been down the road for the better share of a decade. Considering what both men brought to the table when they faced off at Day Two of Rising from the Ashes back in April, we could be looking at an early front runner for Match of the Year. This one is sure to be a classic.
So tune in as NWA South Beach completes it's road to Starrcade on January 19th from the Pensacola Civic Center.
