Dean Hill | Gilbert Corsey | Michael Titus |
Dean Hill: With the Saturday Night Special closing in and the big match with Mike Mondo challenging Marcus Anthony for the Southern championship, this is NWA Ohio Valley. I'm Dean Hill alongside the anchorman Gilbert Corsey, and the Rocky Mountain mouth Michael Titus. Gentlemen, tonight. Big action with Marcus Anthony here and set to do battle with Timmy Danger's 1 time associate in Eddie Diamond.
Gilbert Corsey: That's right Dean. At 1 time, Timmy Danger serving as the hype man for EFD himself, but then a few months back, stabbing him in the back. I don't know if I like EFD's chances against the beast, but you have to give him heart for trying.
Michael Titus: Haha, heart doesn't win wrestling matches though. What does is intelligence, what does is brawn. Tonight could be the last time that we ever see Eddie Diamond, and I for 1, won't shed a tear if that's the case.
Dean Hill: Also tonight, 4 of our femme fatales in action with a spot in the Women's Title match at the Saturday Night Special at stake. Plus last week, we saw Dylan Bostic upset Mohammad Ali Vaez. THis week, it's the half of the tag teams when Michael Hayes battles Evan Markopoulos in singles action.
Gilbert Corsey: And that's not all Dean. A match I'm looking forward to. The Marauders, they opened their mouths last week, or more specifically Shiloh Jonze did. Paredyse got back up though, and tonight, they have to deal with him and Rudy Switchblade in tag team action.
Dean Hill: Right now though, let's send it up to the ring for our opening contest.

Stephon J Baxter III | Elvis Pridemoore |
Match #1
Rematch time kicks off the show as they 2 wrestlers did battle 2 weeks ago on TV, only for The Body Guy to come out during the match. Stephon J Baxter III won, but Elvis Pridemoore demanded a rematch. Things look better for Elvis early on when the Steve Urkel like Stephon extends a hand for a clean match, allowing Elvis to cheap shot him. He would work over Stephon early as the commentators used this time to talk about last week's finish, with Johnny Spade accidentally superkicking his own manager Timmy Danger in the match with Mike Mondo. Gilbert questions if it was even an accident, but Titus says of course it was and that they are just trying to create problems between Spade and the OVW champion Marcus Anthony. Meanwhile in the match, Stephon makes a comeback and as with 2 weeks ago, catches Elvis with the Rumper Stumper (aka Iceman King Parsons' "Butt Butt") and picks up the 3 count for the win. They might be closer to the bottom of the rankings here, but after that win, it is clear who the better of these 2 is.

Michael Hayes | w/ Mohammad Ali Vaez | Evan Markopoulos | w/ Dylan Bostic |
Match #2
The action continues with singles action in a match setup last week. While these 2 tag teams are set to do battle for the Southern Tag Team Title at the upcoming Saturday Night Special, last week "The Slimy Jerks" as Dean Hill likes to call them, went over the line when they removed the prosthetic leg of Hayes so that Bostic could sneak out the upset. Before this match can even begin, both Vaez and Bostic get ordered to the back! Dean instantly commends that decision while Titus thinks it is uncalled for. Bostic initially refuses, but a brawl with Vaez sends him running and we have a clear ringside. Hayes initially controls the match, but Markopoulos is able to duck a clothesline and dropkick out the real leg of Hayes to take him off his feet. Markopoulos locks in a single leg boston crab, but Hayes gets to the ropes for a break. Ever the cheapshots, Markopoulos goes to remove the artificial leg of Hayes much to the dismay of Dean and Gilbert, but Titus thinks if he can't handle it, he shouldn't be in the ring. Markopoulos has the artificial limb and looks to use it as a weapon, bringing it up, but the referee grabs it away behind his back. Markopoulos turns to question the referee, leaving himself open to a schoolboy from Hayes. The referee goes down and counts with Hayes picking up the win! Markopoulos can't believe it as Hayes gets outside and puts the artificial limb back on. The 2 teams split the singles series at 1 a piece, the tie breaker coming on February 1 for the title.

Rudy Switchblade | Paredyse | Shiloh Jonze | Joe Coleman |
Match #3
This is a tag team match setup over the last couple weeks. 2 weeks ago, Paredyse was attacked by Shiloh Jonze after successfully defending his TV Title against Joe Coleman. Last week, Jonze berated Paredyse as not being fit for The Marauders where they enact a "don't ask, don't tell" policy in true military fashion, which Paredyse flaunts every week. After another beat down, Rudy Switchblade offered himself up to be his partner for this tag team match tonight. Paredyse is his usual flamboyant self early on, angering Jonze. He gets further angered when Paredyse manages to control him early on. Switchblade comes in and takes care of Coleman, although a tag out to Paredyse and Jonze would pull down the top rope as Paredyse went in, sending him crashing to the mats below. The Marauders take control as Titus says that they are teaching him a lesson in respect tonight. The other 2 commentators are less enthused by that, feeling Paredyse, like everybody else should be free to live as he chooses. Paredyse eventually catches Jone with an enziguiri. Coleman tags in, as does Switchblade, and he immediately starts going to work on Coleman. A frog splash comes with Jonze ready to break it up, but Paredyse running in to get in his way. Switchblade pins Coleman for the win and Jonze is upset, but he will have his chance 1 on 1 at the Saturday Night Special on February 1 with the TV Title on the line. Paredyse meanwhile claps and jumps around while Switchblade takes the win a little more seriously.

Johnny Spade | Eddie Diamond |
Backstage, Johnny Spade is talking on a cell phone when Eddie Diamond approaches him. Diamond interrupts with Spade asking what the hell he wants? Diamond questions whether Spade hit the superkick on manager Timmy Danger on purpose last week, saying he knows above anybody else first hand what being managed by Danger can do to a wrestler. Spade denies the accusation and says Diamond had better just watch himself later on against Marcus Anthony in the main event. Diamond says that Spade may not be able to get a title shot at Anthony as long as they are both under Danger's watch, but if Mike Mondo wins the title at the Saturday Night Special, Spade would be free to go after the belt. He leaves as Spade tries to get back to the conversation, but his mind is elsewhere now and tells them he will call them back, with Diamond maybe having planted something into Spade's mind.
Ted McNaler | Adam Revolver | Brittany DeVore | The Body Guy |
Meanwhile, elsewhere backstage, The Mobile Homers are grouped up with Ted McNaler still having his eyes wrapped up. He asks how much longer he will have to be like this with the other 2 unsure. Just then The Body Guy walks up to them with a shake weight in hand and tells Brittany Devore that now that McNaler's blind, he could never truly appreciate her beauty like he could every night and asks her if she wants to spend 1 night with The Body Guy. McNaler gets upset, and ends up accidentally punching a locker door and hurting his hand as Revolver calms him, while Brittany handles it and tells Body Guy that she would sooner be blind than have to look at him another second. The 3 leave with The Body Guy having delusions, saying to himself "She wants me. They all do, haha."
Jessie Godderz | Mo Green |
The camera again moves to focus in on Mr. Pectacular Jessie Godderz posing before a mirror, admiring himself. Just then Mo Green comes up and greets the "chucklehead", which annoys Godderz. Green says that after weeks of speculation, next week on OVW TV, the cornerstone of Mo Money Associates will be brought out and he wants Godderz there in the ring to witness it first hand. Godderz tells him that he has far better things to do than that, like continue looking at perfection, and goes back to posing. Green says he will be in action at the Saturday Night Special on February 1, and Godderz may be interested because he is the opponent on the contract. Green leaves as Godderz just shakes his head and ignores it, going back to hitting a double bicep pose and nodding to himself in agreement at what he sees.

Heidi Lovelace | Jessie Belle | Scarlett Bordeaux | Nikki St. John |
Guest referee
Ray Lynn |
Match #4
The winner of this "Femme Fatales 4 way" will move on to the Saturday Night Special on February 1 to take on former champion Trina with the vacant Women's Title at stake. As with last week, Ray Lynn is again referee, and Titus hopes that she figures out how to do a better job this time around. The end of the match sees Jessie Belle hit the Southern Justice (Gory Bomb) on Nikki St. John and cover with Ray Lynn checking on Heidi Lovelace. Scarlett Bordeaux comes over and kicks Jessie and rolls her out of the ring and tries to steal the pin, but Ray Lynn seems more interested in the fact that Jessie is outside wondering how she got there. Scarlett gets frustrated and gets up and shoves her and goes back down for the cover, but no count again as she continues focusing on wondering why Jessie's outside. Titus is yelling on commentary "who cares?!?" as the other 2 say she means well and is just trying to get help. Scarlett looks up and yells for her to count, but does not see Heidi coming and hitting the Shining Wizard. She covers and this gets counted with a win. It is now Trina vs Heidi Lovelace at the Saturday Night Special for the Women's Title, and Scarlett's frustration with Ray Lynn from last week continues.

Eddie Diamond | Marcus Anthony | w/ Timmy Danger |
Match #5
A tremendous size mismatch highlights tonight's main event. The Southern champion Marcus Anthony is an absolute beast as he prepares for Mike Mondo, a pretty big size mismatch in itself, at Saturday Night Special. Dean says that what Mondo or Eddie Diamond lack in size, they make up for in heart. Titus says that heart has never won a wrestling match though, size and speed do. Gilbert agrees but points out Mondo is a former Southern champion here, so he can hold his own. As for Diamond in this match, he gets some credit as he evades Anthony early on, but this only seems to make him more upset. Eventually Diamond starts landing blows as the crowd gets behind him, but Anthony grabs him and just tosses him down like a rag doll. Danger is enjoying this as Anthony dominates Diamond. He eventually hits the Gamma Punch and covers, but before the 3, lifts Diamond up. Dean and Gilbert call this unnecessary, but Titus says until the match ends, everything is legal! Anthony picks Diamond up and locks in the Full Nelson, the referee calling for the bell. Anthony initially refuses to release the hold, prompting Dean and Gilbert to cry foul as enough is enough, but Titus just shouts to break him in half! Finally Anthony breaks the hold when from the back ...
Mike Mondo |
It's Mike Mondo! Mondo comes out and does his unique ring entrance of climbing in and back down the ropes. Anthony charges in the corner, but Mondo moves. He starts landing shoulderblocks to the midsection of Anthony and starts looking to take him down. A clothesline rocks Anthony, but he does not go down. A second has Anthony struggling to keep his balance. Fans cheer as Mondo gets set for a third, and possibly final. He hits the ropes, but when he turns back, he gets blasted by a superkick! Johnny Spade has hit the ring and surprises Mondo. Spade gestures for the crowd as Danger celebrates this. Anthony recovers and picks up Mondo, locking in the Full Nelson. Mondo is out as the Saturday Night Special is potentially forecast here with Anthony left standing tall at the end of this broadcast, although Dean notes it was Spade's superkick that saved Anthony and he won't be in the match on February 1. All seems well in the Danger camp though, for now.
