The show opens in an arena that could hold maybe 2,000 on a great night here in Michigan, but these fans seem very dedicated and ready to watch some high impact wrestling. The owner of Pro-Wrestling STORM, JOSEPH ROTHER, steps out and welcomes the fans. He says that tonight isn't going to be about soap operas or any flashy gimmicks, but instead they've decided to dedicate this entire show to the pursuit of what will be the in-house highest championship one can compete for, the Pro-Wrestling STORM championship. He reveals a championship belt of silver plating with dark blue leather, and says that this is what each man will be battling their hearts out for tonight, but that each and every night, they will be battling to give you the best professional wrestling show between those ropes that you will find anywhere! Rother goes to say that the fans need to strap in and prepare for the oncoming STORM!
MATCH ONE
STORM TITLE TOURNAMENT
ONE-ON-ONE: 10 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
JAYSON DREAD

RESULTS: Killstreak defeated Jayson Dread by way of pinfall.
NOTES: Two relative unknowns took to the ring here as the big and powerful Dread took on the sleek and striking Killstreak. Killstreak would absolutely punish Dread throughout, withstanding some big blows early but taking to his legs and head with shoot kick after shoot kick after quick strike, making him pay for getting close each time he did. Dread would attempt to use some big power moves as opposed to brawling to get the job done, but Killstreak seemed to have an answer each time, reversing most of what looked to be Dread's most devastating moves, getting him off balance for another near lethal shot each time. Killstreak would set into motion the beginning of the end by flipping over a Powerbomb attempt and landing on his feet behind Dread, running off the ropes and sending a Double Knee Strike into his chest. Dread stumbles backwards, holding his chest in pain, before dropping to a knee. From there, Killstreak jumps and spins in the air, connecting with a huge Leaping Twisting Buzzsaw kick that sent Dread's lights out completely and that was the end of it. Killstreak impresses everyone here and gets the big win, advancing as what many may consider a dark horse contender in this tournament.

RESULTS: Jimmy Jacobs defeats Damian Hawthorne by choke-out.
NOTES: Both men came into this match very cautiously, Hawthorne knowing full well the dangerous reputation of Jacobs while Jacobs was experienced enough to know he shouldn't underestimate his younger opponent. Jacobs would eventually realize one of them had to make a bold move, and he did so, disrespecting Hawthorne with a big slap to the face, daring him to bring it on! This would not rattle Hawthorne, though, but instead it would ignite something within him, leading to a string of high impact offense, ending in a brain rattling Implant DDT that nearly got him the pinfall! Jacobs would resort to underhanded tactics to make his way back into this match, trying to keep his opponent grounded and just break his will, and hopefully cause him to submit, but Hawthorne wouldn't stay down. Hawthorne would come back with a big Wheel Kick, followed by a Swinging Bulldog off the ropes, thinking he might have it, but Jacobs would kick out! He would pick up Jacobs into a front facelock, thinking about maybe another big DDT, but Jacobs would spin out of it and leap, DDTing Hawthorne to the mat right into a Guillotine Choke! Hawthorne would refuse to submit though, forcing the referee to call it as his eyes rolled into the back of his head. Jacobs would advance, but not without a Hell of a fight he won't soon forget.

RESULTS: Christian Phoenix defeats Sonjay Dutt by way of pinfall.
NOTES: Dutt seemed very confident coming into this one, and the fans seemed to have his back. That all changed as Dutt would have a very hard time taking down Phoenix, and an even harder time out running him. Dutt relies on his speed, and when that fails he has solid technical skills, but Phoenix seemed to have an answer for everything Dutt had for him, and one of those answers was a reversal to the Sonjay Cutter into a Codebreaker, followed by a move Dutt has used to put away many opponents, the Corkscrew 450 Splash, and that did it. Christian Phoenix just made a name for himself defeating a very tough and traveled opponent to advance in this tournament while Sonjay was left trying to figure out how it all went so terribly wrong.

RESULTS: Drex Culver defeats Shane Spencer by way of pinfall.
NOTES: There seemed to be no love lost here, as each man came out of the gate talking smack to one another. Things began with a collar and elbow tie up that degenerated into a back and forth slapping match, eventually leading to Spencer kicking Culver in the head, and that pretty much set the tone for this match. There was a little bit of flying and a little bit of technical prowess, but this match was primarily a vicious and barbaric display by two men hungry for championship gold and not really caring if their opponent made it out of this contest alive. Culver was able to duck a Corkscrew Roundhouse Kick from Spencer, leaping and springboarding off the middle rope and flew off with a twist to catch Spencer with a snapping Reverse STO, and that was it! Culver would get the win as Spencer woke up, not really sure what happened but obviously he seemed very displeased when he figured it out.

RESULTS: TJ Perkins defeats Matt Sydal by way of pinfall.
NOTES: Sydal and Perkins know each other well by now, having teamed multiple times recently and this made for a great contest for these fans here tonight. Sydal and Perkins put on a very lucha influenced match, doing many quick spots and dives and feints to the outside, keeping the excitement up. Though it may have been more choreographed than some may have liked, and there wasn't a lot in the way of actual story or true intensity, nobody can deny the athletic abilities of these two stars, and it just so happened that Perkins came out on top in a match that could have easily went to either man. Perkins managed to end the match with a 520 Corkscrew Springboard Tornado DDT, getting a big pop from the crowd and a big advancement in this tournament.

RESULTS: Nick Reiner defeats BJ Whitmer by way of submission.
NOTES: Whitmer had the experience and striking edge, but it was clear these guys were a very even match and that maybe Reiner had more determination. Whitmer seemed to take this match as seriously as any other match, but Reiner, who has also gone by the name of "Thunder Horse" in Japan, just seemed to be unbreakable on this night. Whitmer couldn't seem to find the answer to keep Reiner's shoulders on the mat, and Reiner just seemed to grow stronger and more intense throughout. Whitmer would show his endurance, kicking out of both a Tombstone Piledriver and Dragon Suplex within a couple of short minutes from one another, but the damage to his neck had been done, and Reiner was able to tie up his legs and apply a facelock, locking him up in a Modified STF of sorts to finally break the Kentucky native's will, causing him to tap out and allowing Nick Reiner to earn the advance in the tournament.

RESULTS: Brian Kendrick defeats Matt Valencia by way of submission.
NOTES: Kendrick did not take this match very seriously at the start, stalling and trying to play mind games with his less experienced tattooed foe. Valencia, though, showed patience and then vengeance as he managed to eventually catch "Spanky" and punish him with big chops and straight kicks to the abdomen, eventually taking him to the outside and brawling with him there. Kendrick would regain an advantage on the floor by raking the eyes of his opponent and then executing a drop toe hold, sending Valencia throat first into the railing, causing a few fans to cringe. Back in the ring, Kendrick would try to hold Valencia down, but Matt would battle back, eventually hitting a Running Blockbuster and then heading up top. Kendrick would rise up to a seated position and Valencia would mock shoot him with two finger guns from the top before leaping off, trying to come down on top of Kendrick with a double knee smash to the chest known as Meteora, but Kendrick would manage to roll and avoid it. Kendrick would catch Valencia with an Enzuigiri, followed by a Rear Naked Choke with a body scissors on the mat! Kendrick's eyes are wide and his teeth are bared as Valencia has no choice by to tap out. Valencia showed a lot of heart and some decent skill, but Kendrick was just too much for the young gun on this night as he advances in the tournament.

RESULTS: Alex Shelley defeats Justin Gabriel by way of pinfall.
NOTES: Both of these men have a wide variety of skills and experience, and that made for a real treat for these fans. The match started as a high speed game of chess, as each man tried to one up the other and expose a weakness, but it was Shelley who was able to get the better of this, working over Gabriel's left leg mercilessly using his superior mat skills. Gabriel would show a lot of heart battling back and would eventually attempt to get a submission win, taking Shelley down and applying a Koji Clutch, but Shelley would manage to break free and, a couple of short minutes later, finished off the match after a quick succession of counters and reversals with the roll-up known as the Shelley Clutch to earn a three count and advance in the tournament. After this display, the former World Junior Heavyweight champion has to be seen as a favorite, as these Michigan fans give both men a great ovation.
