Yeah, it was not so much that it is a 3 man team, just having it be comprised of 2 such gigantic stars.
I think sam's suggestion just further drives home what I was saying and makes the promotion actually centered around Michaels and Austin, which would really hurt things for me. If it were me and I were trying to get a role for both, I would have Michaels on color and Austin as a more special guest role like a commissioner or troubleshooter, where it occasionally supports the talent by having interaction and makes viewers know by his presence, this is important. As it is, the way you have it at least does keep the talent as the center of attention so while a criticism, it is still 1 of the better ways to use both with this sort of roster if the writer wants to.
