Intermission
Shiima Xion vs. Tony Nese
This match proved competitive for the first several minutes before turning into quite the showcase of Tony Nese. Nese would control much of the match before hitting an impressive deadlift one-armed turnbuckle powerbomb and then a cradle belly to back piledriver. Nese would connect with a 450 splash to bring the match to an end.
Forever Hooligans vs. Young Bucks
The semifinal kept the fans on their toes with plenty of back and forth action and quick shifts in control. The plethora of tags incorporated into the match allowed for the pace to be sustainable and storytelling was top notch as everyone seemed to be selling the injuries occurred until the final bell rang. The Hooligans did a fantastic job of keeping the crowd involved with great corner work and selling like a crazy for every hot tag the Young Bucks made. The Bucks would hit every possible dive to the outside imaginable, bringing the fans to their feet several times, yet played the fools to a tee and they would find themselves outsmarted by the Hooligans just when victory seemed possible. The Forever Hooligans would shock the fans by connecting with the Contract Killer to score the unexpected victory.
Karl Anderson vs. Sami Callihan
Anderson and Callihan proved to be one of the biggest matches possible for NWA Lonestar and El Paso received a treat as a result. The crowd was split fairly evenly for the first several minutes before Callihan seemed to snap and began breaking every rule possible in an effort to seemingly injure Anderson more than score a victory. These two seemed to be able to toy with the fans as they swapped control and played to the crowd during rest holds. Callihan seemed to become convinced he could force Anderson to submit as he continuously sought to lock on the Stretch Muffler. Anderson found himself on the defensive after a culmination of several minutes in the hold. Callihan would hit several devastating lariats and hit a Headlock Driver, only to see Anderson roll his shoulder at the last possible moment. Anderson would make a fantastic comeback and hit a spinning spinebuster and finally the Gun Stun only to have Callihan return the favor of kicking out just before three. Both men would stand in the center of the ring and trade countless strikes until Anderson would connect with an elbow that drove Callihan into the ropes. Callihan would rebound back and hit a lariat, driving Anderson back to the ropes. This time Anderson rebounded with a big boot, allowing Callihan to duck and catch Anderson once more in the Stretch Muffler. Anderson would fight frantically but eventually the bell would ring to signify that the time limit had expired.
