SEGMENT
The opening segment sees Jimmy Jacobs make his way out to the ring escorted by BJ Whitmer and PAUL HEYMAN! New play-by-play man Joey Styles says that it would appear that Jacobs has made a deal with the devil himself, while Steve Corino says that Heyman has been a man who's stood beside many champions, and even was instrumental in making both of their careers, so Styles should show some respect! The fans here give Paul E. a great reaction, but soon turn as he talks about Jacobs, whom the fans aren't so big on.
Heyman goes on to say that he saw a true champion's heart in Jacobs as he persevered and made it to the finals of the STORM title tournament, and decided a man like him, with the right kind of guidance and cultivating, could become a World champion in this sport. He ruled this territory once before as a former Great Lakes champion, before going down to South Beach and becoming the most dominant and feared Television champion of all time, and then went up to New Jersey and dominated that territory with a fury like few have ever seen. A man like Jimmy Jacobs, though, he makes enemies, and he makes them fast, and that's why Heyman helped find him a little back up in a man who he also sees championship potential in, a man by the name of BJ Whitmer. BJ has been on the cusp of breaking out time and time again, and, Heyman informs the fans, that breakout time is now.
Jacobs takes the microphone and says that Joseph Rother needs to just step out right now and recognize who the best in this company is, who the face of this company is, and just hand over that STORM championship belt before he has to hurt anybody else. He says with Heyman and Whitmer by his side, there is no one and nothing that can stop him!
Joseph Rother steps out and says that's not going to happen, and Jacobs will be facing the winner of tonight's main event between Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin at the first ever iPPV Pro-Wrestling STORM has ever presented entitled "Shockwave"! The fans go nuts, as the main event is very exciting and the impending iPPV is also going to be a big one. Rother goes on to say that he does like the looks of this new alliance of Jacobs and Whitmer, as they wouldn't be in this company if he didn't know their talent level and skill sets. He says tonight, though, they'd better worry about their match, because in that very ring, they are going to take on the high flying, hard hitting duo of Justin Gabriel and Matt Sydal!
And with that, Rother leaves as Jacobs, Heyman, and Whitmer all begin to strategize with a sort of angst and anger about them, and Styles and Corino continue to speculate about what might go down tonight.
FOUR-WAY MATCH
Amazing Red vs. Christian Phoenix vs. Sonjay Dutt vs. TJ Perkins
Amazing Red manages to pick up what might be considered an upset here tonight as he pins Sonjay Dutt after a Springboard Code Red. Dutt looked like he had the win in hand after delivering a big Moonstomp to Phoenix, a man who he has been looking to extract revenge on for knocking him out of the STORM title tournament, but that wasn't to be. Red manage to hop up on the apron at an opportune time after some brawling on the outside with Perkins and caught Dutt as he tried to recover and make the pin attempt, flying and catching him with his Sunset Powerbomb variation for the three count.
SEGMENT
"The F'N Machine" Brian Cage makes his way out to the ring and he has a mic in hand. He says he dominated the former Hybrid Pro Wrestling in New Jersey as one of the key members of the Pistols faction for months, winning championship after championship and trying to stake his claim to the World Heavyweight title. He says his destiny hasn't changed, and tonight, he's going to show why he will never be stopped, and never say die!
This leads none other than John Cena to make his way from the back. John says he admires Cage's work ethic, Hell, his whole body of work, as the guy has racked up huge win after huge win, and nobody can take that away from him. Tonight, though, Cena says he has himself something to prove, something about himself and his own fighting spirit, and his own ability to survive in that ring, and he wants to do so against the best. Cena says Cage might be the best damn wrestler on this roster right now, pound for pound, but tonight, it's not about the past, it's about right now, and Cena says that right now is his time.
SINGLES MATCH
Brian Cage vs. John Cena
In what was an absolutely fantastic and frenzied back and forth match between two very stellar athletes, John Cena would manage to pick up the win over the much favored Brian Cage after breaking out of the Weapon X and rolling him up with a Crucifix Hold for the three. The fans gave these guys a great ovation, after each man traded many hard hits and near falls, taking to the skies a few times and showing their guts as they gave each other their best shot. Cena would try to put away the match time and time again with submissions, initially locking on his STF a couple of times to try and break Cage, and then at one point reversing the Weapon X into a Crippler Crossface, but Cage had no intentions of submitting and showed his strength to drag himself to the ropes each time. Cage would try to end Cena with Lariats and a huge Flying Elbow, as well as his patented finisher, but nothing seemed to be able to stop Cena on this night. He really seemed to be the hungrier of the two, and his craftiness and desire paid off huge dividends in the end.
SEGMENT
Brian Cage's former tag team partner Michael Elgin would make his way out to the ring with a mic this time, and said tonight he's scheduled to face another wrestler from his homeland of Ontario, Canada. He says tonight, he's going to prove he's the best Canadian wrestler on the planet, and then from here, he's going to prove he's just the best damn wrestler in the world. Tyson Dux makes his way out and he seems to have a difference of opinion.
SINGLES MATCH
Michael Elgin vs. Tyson Dux
Dux showed a great competency of the mat tonight, as he would work over Elgin very well early, but Elgin was just too much for him. Elgin would end up actually losing the match by way of disqualification, as he powerbombed Dux repeatedly onto steel chairs, almost making these fans sick in this twisted display of brutality. This would lead Nick Reiner out, who hails from Toronto, to the ring holding his own steel chair, and he catches Elgin to the back a couple of times to run him off. Elgin looks absolutely furious, but Reiner is not about to back down for anything, telling him to bring it as these fans cheer him on!
NO-DISQUALIFICATION TAG TEAM MATCH
Allysin Kay & LuFisto vs. Jessicka Havok & Mickie Knuckles
These four ladies put on the most hardcore match this promotion has seen, as they all left this match bloody and bruised, and these fans gained a whole new respect for women's wrestling. Allysin Kay would manage to pick up the hard earned victory tonight, as the Detroit native delivered a Saito Suplex onto a chair to Havok to put her down for the three count. The level of brawling here would make the fans cringe, and they were almost thankful to see it over, but gave these ladies a great ovation for their efforts tonight.
SEGMENT
Johnny Curtis would make his way out to the ring strutting and dancing with his valet Summer Rae. Curtis would grab a mic and say that he is the smoothest operator in this company, and claimed there is no woman alive who could deny his charms, and no man who could overcome his swag. This lead Psychosocial out to the ring, who didn't seem to have much interest in either of those things.
SINGLES MATCH
Johnny Curtis w/ Summer Rae vs. Psychosocial
Curtis would start off pretty fiery, knocking the bigger opponent off his feet after a series of fists and a dropkick, sending him to the ropes where Summer Rae would assault him. Psychosocial would catch Curtis coming in the corner though and deliver a T-Bone Suplex into the buckles that probably sent whatever swag was inside of Curtis out the back door into his tights. Psychosocial would attempt to deliver his Social Disorder to Curtis, but Curtis would slip off his shoulders and attempt a School Boy for a two count. Curtis would deliver a DDT and then head up top, looking maybe for his Flying Legdrop, but Psychosocial would run and leap, catching him with an Enzuigiri to crotch him and wow the fans with his athleticism. From there, Psychosocial would fold him up in the corner and pull him out, delivering what could be described as a Vertical Drop Muscle Buster, as he sent Curtis skull first to the mat with double leg hook Fisherman's Buster he calls the Cell Therapy, and that earned him the three count tonight. Curtis wasn't dancing to the back, but you know he hasn't been humbled in the least.
SINGLES MATCH
Brian Kendrick vs. Homicide
Brian Kendrick took a tough loss to Jimmy Jacobs at the last show, and he seemed a bit unhinged and unfocused on this night. Homicide, on the other hand, seemed more driven and focused than we've seen him in some time and was able to control the pace of the contest very well. Kendrick would let the fans get to him and his lack of momentum in the contest really get him down, and this all allowed Homicide openings to do a lot of damage. Homicide would manage to reverse a Sliced Bread #2 attempt, which Kendrick tried to save with a Rear Naked Choke, but Homicide even reversed that, elbowing him to the back of the head and then delivering his Cop Killa to get the huge win! Kendrick looked very sore afterwards, while Homicide got a much needed big time win.
TAG TEAM MATCH
BJ Whitmer & Jimmy Jacobs w/ Paul Heyman vs. Justin Gabriel & Matt Sydal
Gabriel and Sydal have such deep and varied arsenals, and it was tough for Whitmer and Jacobs to control the pace because of this. That being said, with the added distraction of Heyman on the outside and their own various skills, they were still able to control things, and did so to great success. Whitmer and Jacobs would go on to hit a move they call the All Seeing Eye, which is a Front Powerslam/Ace Crusher combo to get the win, and there's no denying these two are effective. Jacobs mimes a championship belt around his waist in celebration, and it's hard to deny the possibility he could be walking out of Shockwave with just that if he keeps this up.
NON-TITLE TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
AJ Lee vs. Naomi Knight vs. Sara Del Rey
Sara Del Rey attacked both of these ladies two shows ago, frustrated and making her claim to the World Women's title. What we had here was a pretty high spirited back and forth contest, though the timing did seem to be a bit off as the styles somewhat clashed from time to time throughout the contest. The match would ultimately come to an end when Alissa Flash made her way out and stomped Del Rey as she attempted to get a pinfall over Naomi Knight with a Piledriver. Flash would then pick up Del Rey and deliver an Air Raid Crash as AJ Lee dipped out clutching her title belt.
Flash gets on the mic and says for years she has been denied her shot, and now she sees an amateur like Knight getting attention and a bitch like Del Rey just stepping over everybody and trying to stake a claim. She says if that's how it is, then damn it, she's going to do the same until she gets what is hers! AJ looks pretty concerned as she makes her way through the curtain, feeling the walls closing in around her now.

Crazy Mark Briscoe makes his way out to the ring with a microphone in hand and complains that after his last match he thought he sent a message, but apparently not because he ain't booked! He says he is the best tag team wrestler of all time, and he carried his brother, the best sibling tag team ever, to championship gold time and time again, and while his brother has always been selfish, he's the one who deserves the glory! He deserves the titles, and he deserves to be known as the best! He's the best brawler, the best high flier, and the toughest son of a bitch to ever put on the boots, and he dares anybody to say somethin' different!
This leads none other than Jeff Hardy to make his way out to the stage, getting a big pop! Hardy says that Mark made some pretty good jokes up there about being the best tag team wrestler of all time and being the greatest high flier and risk taker, but he says he's looking for a fight and to make his name here in Michigan, and this looks like the perfect opportunity to get extreme! Jeff slides in and these two start exchanging fists as the bell sounds.
SINGLES MATCH
Jeff Hardy vs. Mark Briscoe
This match ends in a no contest after Jay Briscoe made his way out and ran off Mark Briscoe, who took to choking Hardy with one of the fan's belts after knocking down the referee. The match had basically been a no disqualification match, and these two put on a pretty good risk taking brawl, as they jumped off the top, the apron, and the guard rail, and really didn't use any real wrestling moves throughout. Briscoe felt he was being shown up though by the "Charismatic Enigma," and decided it was time to put a stop to it, knocking out the referee after mule kicking Hardy and then ripping the belt right off of one of the fan's pants and choking Hardy with it. Jay would lay into Mark and whip him with the belt a few times before Mark ran off, fuming and irate about the whole situation as Jay looked very upset and disappointed.
STORM TITLE TOURNAMENT
SINGLES MATCH
Alex Shelley vs. Chris Sabin
Chris Sabin would manage to control a good bit of this contest by going cheap and using underhanded tactics. He and Shelley would start off fast and competitive, but Sabin turned the tides with an eye rake, followed by multiple knees in the corner and a foot choke, obviously deciding he'd had enough playing around and just wanted to hurt Shelley and ultimately get the match over with. Shelley seemed to be rallying back, catching Sabin with a big Superkick as he flew into the corner after him at one point, and then taking him down into the Shelley Clutch, but Sabin kicked out! This lead Jimmy Jacobs and BJ Whitmer to the ring, and the fans nearly went into a riot as they stomped both men into the mat as Paul Heyman directed traffic!
Jacobs would get on the mic and say that since neither man won, Rother needs to do what he told him to do, and give him his belt!
Joseph Rother would make his way out and say that because of this, Jacobs is still going to be in the main event at Shockwave, the championship will still be on the line, but now he has to face BOTH Shelley and Sabin! And Heyman and Whitmer are barred from ringside, period! Joey Styles applauds this decision at ringside while Corino derides it, calling it a criminal abuse of power as the show comes to an end.
