Dean Hill, Gilbert Corsey, and Michael Titus welcome viewers to the show. They run down the lineup for tonight, putting emphasis on the 3 title matches that could see Timmy Danger and his men enter with everything and leave with nothing. Both Marcus Anthony and Smooth Johnny Spade will see action not once, but twice tonight. First, they will together defend the Southern Tag Team championship against former champions Mohammad Ali Vaez & Michael Hayes. Then, Spade will defend his TV Title against The Psychadelic Superstar Chris Silvio, and in the main event tonight, Anthony defends the Southern Heavyweight Title against former champion Jamin Olivencia. Also tonight, big grudge match as Rudy Switchblade battles Mike Mondo in a Chain on a Pole match. Right now though, we head to the ring for tonight's opener.
Match #1
Rockstar Ryan Howe defeats Rudo Raul Lamotta @ 4:53 via pinfall after the Chart Topper, a blockbuster DDT from the top rope. A continuation of their match from TV, Howe shows that he is ready to go in this return to Ohio Valley. Before the match, he pulls out the guitar playing gimmick, delivering a quick solo that gets the fans popping. Titus gets in a shot on a recent Ohio Valley area wrestler that had called himself a Rockstar, adding there is more to the name than just calling yourself 1.
Match #2
Eddie Freakin' Diamond defeats The Pope Elijah Burke via forfeit. As the match was about to start, Burke instead took the mic and declared that when he came back to the area, it was for real competition, not wastes of time like this. He is going to give Diamond a story to tell his grand children so that they can tell their grand children some day, and give Diamond a forfeit win over The Pope right here tonight. Diamond needless to say does not want it that way, but Pope refuses and says he will not wrestle until he gets the opportunity he deserves, specifically the opportunity that Jamin Olivencia was handed here tonight while he gets signed to this second rate garbage. Diamond obviously takes offense to this and shoves him, but Burke is unmoved by it. Until Diamond turns his back at least, at which point Burke jumps him and starts kicking him repeatedly. Burke then gives Diamond the DDE, a double high knee to the back into a sitout rear slam. Titus mockingly puts over Diamond as the winner, with Dean saying that there are ways to win and this is not a way any honorable wrestler wants to win.
Match #3
Shiloh Jonze & The French Stallion defeat Paredyse & Stephon J Baxter III @ 6:18 when Stallion pins Baxter after The French Connection, a running big boot to the face. Paredyse tried to break it up, but got tripped and pulled to the outside by Jonze. A successful debut here for the new Marauders, with Dean stressing that never in a million years would he peg an American to team with a French man, and what a slap in the face this is to our military men (keeping in mind this is the south lol). Titus calls the 2 of them the ultimate union and when there is nobody in America fitting of the task, you look abroad. That is how we have always done things with our allies. Gilbert takes a more focused on wrestling approach, saying that it might be difficult for any team here to stop these 2 once they get rolling.
Match #4
The Mobile Homers defeat Dylan Bostic & The Body Guy @ 5:48 in a Blindfold match, when McNaler pinned Bostic after a distraction from their manager Brittany Devore allowed him to briefly lift the Blindfold and hit the still blinded Bostic with a perfect spear. Some southern justice according to Dean for the Homers as they finally put away Bostic & The Body Guy, while Titus is less enthusiastic noting that they had to cheat to win. Dean defends it though because there was no cheating for McNaler when he was blinded an entire month thanks to throwing moonshine into his eyes. Gilbert puts over that between this win and the win just now by The New Marauders that the Tag Team Title picture is suddenly becoming very crowded for whichever team emerges as champions.
Match #5
Mohammad Ali Vaez & Michael Hayes defeat Southern Tag Team champions Marcus Anthony & Smooth Johnny Spade @ 11:24 when Hayes pinned Anthony after Spade "accidentally" superkicked his own partner, regaining the championship they lost a month earlier at the previous SNS in March. A huge upset pin for the 1 legged war veteran as he scores a pin on the seemingly unstoppable Anthony, although thanks in huge part to Spade hitting Anthony with the superkick when Vaez moves and Anthony turns at the wrong time. Dean wonders if that was even an accident as he thinks Spade had more than enough time to stop himself, feeling that it was maybe some payback for Anthony's clearly intentional Gamma Punch a couple weeks back. Timmy Danger is quick to blame the loss on Spade as Vaez & Hayes clear, celebrating outside with fans before going to the back. Danger starts poking Spade in the chest as the commentators wonder how long he will take this for. Finally Spade relents and backs down, seemingly admitting fault. Danger turns to gloat and then turns back into a superkick himself that knocks him into next week. The honeymoon is seemingly over as Spade has finally come to his senses, but Titus is quick to point out that both Anthony and Spade still have matches left tonight. Gilbert says that the odds were already against them, and now that they have lost once, what does that do for a man's confidence. Dean adds especially for Anthony since he was pinned. Titus has a fit on commentary before a fade away for the next match.
The Pastor of Disaster speaks!
... or so the next match was scheduled. Instead of the next match, out comes the Reverend Stuart Miles to organ music to address the fans at the Davis Arena, or as he calls them, the sinners. He tells everybody that as they indulge in this gluttonous overindulgence of pro wrestling tonight, they had all better remember to say their prayers tonight and make sure to be awake tomorrow so they can all attend their local services and beg for redemption. Most fans just boo this as Miles further adds that he is here to cleanse the Ohio Valley and make wrestlers like Jamin Olivencia and Chris Silvio enter into repentance for the lifestyle choices that they have made. Dean on commentary calls this crap and wants the Pastor out of the ring, while Titus can't wait for the cleanse to begin!
Match #6
Mike Mondo defeats Rudy Switchblade @ 10:05 via referee stoppage in a Chain on a Pole match. Despite the result, Switchblade was actually the first wrestler up the pole to retrieve the chain up there, but Mondo would pull a foreign object out of his tights. As Switchblade wrapped his hand to use it, he got surprised by Mondo and knocked out. The referee did not know what to make of this as Mondo put the foreign object back unseen, and then took the chain and started repeatedly beating on Switchblade with it, drawing blood. The referee called for a stoppage to the match, but that was not enough for Mondo, who seemed hell bent on taking Switchblade out all together. He then brought Switchblade to the ropes and wrapped the chain around his neck and began choking him out. Additional referees came out, and finally wrestlers as well, putting a stop to this vicious assault when Mondo had to release Switchblade to hit Elvis Pridemoore with the chain. But a string of The Mobile Homers, Stephon J Baxter III, and Paredyse is enough that Mondo does not want to face the forces and bails. Danny Davis is out and reprimanding Mondo, but the damage has been done here tonight.
Match #7
Women's champion Heidi Lovelace defeats Serena @ 6:53 via pinfall after catching Serena with the Shining Wizard. Heidi retains the Women's Title in a closely contested match to turn back the challenge of Serena, after the challenger misses a spear and ends up going shoulder first into the turnbuckle instead. This was a big win for the champion after months of Serena's attacks and cheap shots, and in some ways a victory for every woman in the back according to Dean. The real story here though was after the match when Nikki St. John came out and jumped Heidi. Serena got up and joined in on laying in the boots when from the back came Taeler Hendrix. Dean says that she must be the 1 that has gotten into the head of Serena here. She seems to conduct traffic out here before Trina comes out and Serena and Nikki leave. Gilbert asks them if they know what this means as Taeler stands with Nikki and Serena? The return of the Mean Girls, and not only that, but they have added to the ranks here with arguably 1 of the best women wrestlers in the entire world in Serena.
Match #8
TV champion Smooth Johnny Spade defeats The Psychadelic Superstar Chris Silvio @ 8:45 via pinfall after the superkick, retaining the TV Title. A fast paced match that sees Silvio nearly pickup the win with the story here being how much the earlier match took out of Spade, and how Spade functions without Timmy Danger in his corner after the superkick earlier. Silvio is nearly able to pick up the victory after the Superman Punch, but at the count of 2, Spade was able to get his foot onto the bottom rope and save himself and the championship. The action continued at a quick pace as Silvio readied for the punch a second time, but as Spade turned, he was able to quickly fire off a superkick as Silvio jumped towards him for the finisher. Spade covered and was able to pick up the 3 count to take the win. After what we saw earlier, Dean comments that this has to make Spade a favorite towards challenging the winner of the Southern Title match up next. Titus disagrees and thinks Spade will be lucky to even make it to the next Saturday Night Special after what he did earlier tonight. Gilbert comments that Spade certainly would seem to be on a roll here and agrees with Dean that with this win and having crossed Marcus Anthony and Timmy Danger, a showdown between them is inevitable.
Match #9
The Main Event
Southern champion Marcus Anthony defeats Jamin Olivencia @ 10:38 via pinfall after the Gamma Punch, and interference from The Pope Elijah Burke. Again, the story here is Anthony having already wrestled earlier tonight and what exactly that took out of him, combined with having to wrestle the match without manager Timmy Danger at his side thanks to the superkick earlier tonight from Smooth Johnny Spade. This match played out very much in the style of a Rocky final showdown with the bigger Anthony starting strong, but Olivencia managing to slowly start wearing him down. Conditioning seemed to be favoring Olivencia in the later stages here as he had Anthony on the ropes, eventually hitting him with the O Drop, the jumping DDT with a bodyscissors. As Jamin went to cover, The Pope Elijah Burke came out and got on the apron, serving to distract the referee. Olivencia got up and went over to turn the referee and go back to the cover. The referee went down to count, but Burke then stepped into the ring. Olivencia got up at the 2 sensing what was coming and fired off a couple punches before jumping up and laying out Burke with the O Drop as well to a big pop. As Olivencia turned back towards Anthony, he missed him having got up and was blasted with the Gamma Punch. Anthony covered and steals the win to retain his title here tonight. Titus seems elated on commentary at the victory, while Dean just rips into The Pope for his interference as having seemingly cost Jamin the title. Anthony stands and gets handed the title when his music stops and from the back comes Smooth Johnny Spade to a pop. He stands at the entrance and points up to Anthony and his title, then motioning to his own waist. He wants the title and now there is nothing standing in his way from getting the opportunity.
