Southern Heavyweight champion: Marcus Anthony
Southern Tag Team champions: Shiloh Jonze & The French Stallion
TV champion: Chris Silvio
Women's champion: Heidi Lovelace
Dean Hill, Gilbert Corsey, and Michael Titus welcome viewers to the show. A lot going on here in recent weeks with the Saturday Night Special mere hours away tonight, and here today on TV, all 3 wrestlers involved in the Southern Title match will be in action. After what we saw last week, the champion Marcus Anthony is here in non title action against Paredyse, The Pope Elijah Burke squares off with Big Rob Terry, and Jamin Olivencia takes on Mike Mondo. 3 big matches here on TV today, plus we will also have a mixed tag team match after what we saw last week with Rockstar Ryan Howe & Jessie Belle against Dylan Bostic & Ray Lynn, Chris Silvio & Mo Green to join on commentary for that. A big show as things kick off with tag team action ...
Match #1
The Mobile Homers defeat The Ghetto Boys - Nick Dumeyer & Elvis Pridemoore @ 4:58 when Revolver pinned Dumeyer after a side Russian legsweep. Big return for The Homers in their first appearance in a month, joined alongside manager Brittany Devore, following their appearance last week of coming to the aid of Mohammad Ali Vaez in the post match beatdown by The Marauders. It gets announced that the Tag Team Title match at the Special tonight will see The Mobile Homers challenge The Marauders and Gilbert wonders if we could see an appearance from Mohammad Ali Vaez there, or worse yet, Fabiano Rolento to try and take out The Homers as seems to be Bin Hamin's methods since returning. Titus praises Hamin and trying to take out the competition while Dean calls it cowardly and says to do it in the ring.

Match #2
Marcus Anthony defeats Paredyse @ 5:43 via submission to the Full Nelson. This was a non title match that saw Paredyse put up some offense, but ultimately fall to the Southern champion as so many have before him meaning no revenge for that attack last week. During the match, it gets announced that referee Josh Ashcraft has been suspended from today's broadcast while Danny Davis reviews his refereeing as of late, including some highly controversial calls in recent weeks, most notably last week with Anthony knocking out his opponent before the match even started and Ashcraft allowing it to go on as scheduled. Dean suggests that while Anthony has been dominant, tonight it is not 1, but 2 opponents and the combined effects of Jamin Olivencia and Elijah Burke may be too much for any man to handle, even Anthony.

Before the next match, The Ultimate Fighter Jay Bradley comes out with Mongo the Cut Man. After punching into Mongo's hands several times as a demonstration, Bradley tells the commentators that he will be at the Saturday Night Special, and to show he is fearless, he will take on ANYBODY at all in Ohio Valley. He reiterates that he is the Ultimate Fighter and nobody in pro wrestling or mixed martial arts will be able to stop him.
Match #3
The Pope Elijah Burke defeats Big Rob Terry @ 5:12 via countout. Terry was putting up a solid performance and seemingly on his way to victory, with the commentators talking about his staredown last week with Marcus Anthony and what a match that could be if it ends up happening given the size and strength of the 2. The action then spilled out to the floor where Burke managed to reverse Terry into the ringpost. Heading back in, referee Joe Wheeler turned his back as he reprimanded Burke for that, but in doing so missed The Body Guy come out and shove Terry from behind head first into the ringpost, an act brought on by Terry defeating him on TV in short order a few weeks ago. The referee then counted Terry out to give Burke a big win as he heads into challenging for the title, while Terry probably will be looking for revenge against The Body Guy once he comes to.
-- Third commercial break --
Match #4
Rockstar Ryan Howe & Jessie Belle defeat Dylan Bostic & Ray Lynn @ 5:39 when Howe made Bostic tap out to the Whammy Bar, his version of the Fujiwara Armbar. A big win for Howe as he heads into his chance at the TV Title against champion Chris Silvio at the SNS, who was seated at ringside providing guest commentary during the match alongside manager "Mo' Money" Mo Green. Silvio seemed anything but worried at the prospect of either man during the match, with much spent joking that Green could take either of the women. After the match Howe gestured over to Silvio, who stood up and held up his TV Title because until Howe beats him in the ring, all the talk means nothing. The 2 favorites will have fans divided when they square off.

Match #5
Jamin Olivencia defeats Mike Mondo @ 8:09 via DQ when Mondo used a steel chain wrapped around his fist. A hard fought and fast paced match comes to an unfortunate end with Olivencia in control of the action and Mondo down. Of note, The Pope Elijah Burke took a seat in the crowd to watch the action ahead of the title match. Mondo pulled a small chain out of his boot and wrapped it on his fist, blasting Olivencia with it when he went to grab him. Referee Chris Sharpe immediately called for the DQ as Mondo seemed to be not yet finished. Instead though Mondo went outside and went under the ring, pulling out a noose! Could he be about to use it on Olivencia?!? NO! Fans cheer as from the back comes Rudy Switchblade! He has not been seen since laying down the challenge to this match 5 weeks ago at the last SNS, has not competed in 9 weeks since Mondo injured him the month before that. Switchblade slides in the ring and awaits Mondo to come back in, but after stepping up to the apron, Mondo goes back to the floor. Booing begins as the fans want to see it now, but Gilbert notes they won't have to wait long with the match tonight at the Davis Arena. Mondo holds up the noose as Titus says the prophecy comes to fruition tonight and Switchblade's career will end! Dean interrupts as he points out Marcus Anthony having emerged from the entrance with Timmy Danger. Burke stands. It all happens tonight - Olivencia vs Burke vs Anthony in a 3 way dance for the Southern Title, and Switchblade vs Mondo in the Mexican Death Rope match! The Saturday Night Special, don't miss it!
