Dean Hill, Gilbert Corsey, and Michael Titus welcome viewers to the show. We are 1 week removed from possibly the biggest Saturday Night Special to date. Not only did we get the return of The Lords of the Ring Nick Dinsmore & Rob Conway, but an outstanding match between Jamin Olivencia and Elijah Burke that went 30 minutes and beyond. Titus interrupts saying that the biggest news of all is the new TV champion Dylan Bostic, and nobody will ever look down on him again after that. Dean sarcastically says please and with that in the rear view now, all roads ahead lead to Kentucky Kingdom on July 25 and the next Saturday Night Special on August 2 here at the Davis Arena. A lot going on, but what is this? ...
Jamin Olivencia interrupts the opening!
The music hits and out comes Jamin Olivencia to big cheers from the fans here in attendance. Fresh off his groundbreaking victory at the SNS in the Ironman match over The Pope Elijah Burke, we have Olivencia opening up the show and ready to address the fans. Olivencia first off wants to thank all the fans for their support, but above that, he wants to give a surprising thank you. That 1 goes to Elijah Burke himself for a great match! The fans give a "Pope, Pope, Pope" chant and Olivencia commends them for that. But moving forwards, Olivencia's thoughts are not with that Ironman match, they are with what he feels he deserves. And what he deserves is another opportunity at the Southern championship and Marcus Anthony! The fans seem to agree as they cheer that idea. Olivencia adds that he has yet to get a fair rematch at the title and now that this is all out of the way, he knows he is first in line ...
That comment brings out Rudy Switchblade, the man who was defeated by Anthony last Saturday at the SNS. Switchblade tells Olivencia to hold on 1 minute because if anybody deserves the next shot at Anthony, it is him. He, unlike Jamin, has beat Anthony in the ring before, and he would be the champion today had it not been for Timmy Danger's interference last week. Olivencia answers back that is a nice fairy tale but if we're going to discount the interference of Danger, he never would have even lost the title to begin with! So while he can relate to Switchblade, he just had his opportunity and the bottom line is that he failed at it. If anybody deserves the next shot at Anthony, it is him, end of story.
The fans boo because from the back comes Marcus Anthony and manager Timmy Danger. The manager is brash as ever as he says this is all well and good but the facts are that neither of them deserve an opportunity at Marcus Anthony. Jamin Olivencia had a 1 on 1 rematch at the April Saturday Night Special and he can thank Pope again for that because his interference cost him that match, so that's that. And as for Switchblade, he only beat Anthony in a tag team match and the champ proved last Saturday that 1 on 1 Switchblade is in too deep and just can't match up. So while all this talk is entertaining, it is pointless because neither of them deserve an opportunity but he has an idea. Since they both want to prove their case, how about right here on TV, it is Jamin Olivencia vs Rudy Switchblade. The fans like that as do the combatants. Danger tells them to show him & Anthony they deserve another chance, put up or shut up, and "maybe" they will "consider" a title shot to the winner. And just like that we have our main event, Olivencia vs Switchblade in what should go a long way towards deciding the next title opportunity at Anthony's Southern championship.

Back from break and out comes the new TV champion Dylan Bostic & the man that helped him win the title last Saturday. Bostic tells Gilbert that nobody thought he could do but he proved everybody wrong when he pinned Chris Silvio to become the new TV champion. Gilbert then asks about his new alliance with Roberto De Luna, but Bostic cuts him off and says that he realized his own wrongs. He had Ray Lynn in his corner, but he needed somebody to watch his back. Somebody with strength, somebody with power. Somebody like ... The Mexicutioner! And with The Mexicutioner in his corner, nobody will ever take this belt away from him, whether Silvio, Ryan Howe, nobody! He is the new face of Ohio Valley and he intends to keep it that way for a long time to come.
Match #1
Nick Dumeyer & Elvis Pridemoore defeat Aaron Sky & Robbie Walker @ 3:38 when Dumeyer pinned Sky after a reverse DDT. A chance for 2 of the bottom end teams to make some ground in the rankings quickly turns into a chance to vent for The Marauders over the previous weekend's Saturday Night Special as Shiloh Jonze, The French Stallion & Fabiano Rolento come out and attack all 4 wrestlers. After the 3 cleared the ring, Bin Hamin took the mic and said that Mohammad Ali Vaez had better watch his back every second of every day, and The Lords of The Ring have made the biggest mistake of their lives returning last Saturday. If they know what is good for themselves, they will stay gone because 2003 was a long time ago and despite the fluke result last Saturday fueled by American propaganda, Shiloh Jonze & The French Stallion are the Southern Tag Team champions now and they are the greatest tag team in the history of Ohio Valley! Dean says Hamin must be out of his mind to think that, but Gilbert notes we are scheduled to hear from Vaez later on tonight.
-- Second commercial break --
Match #2
Bud Dwight defeated Raul Lamotta @ 4:52 via pinfall with a school boy out of the corner after Dwight moves out of the way from a charging Lamotta. A successful TV singles debut here tonight for The Party Starter, but the bigger story emphasized on commentary is the upset loss for the veteran Rudo Raul Lamotta. As Dwight celebrates his victory, Lamotta is in disbelief that he has lost to the rookie. After the match he questions the referee and yes, he lost. He goes to commentary and asks, and Dean tells him yeah, you lost pal! Gilbert says the same while Titus is telling Lamotta not to worry about it. The fans get on his case as Lamotta can't seem to take it and heads to the back just losing it in this return for him to singles action on TV after a 2 month absence.
-- Third commercial break --
Before the next match, The Ultimate Fighter Jay Bradley is out with Mongo. Bradley immediately requests that he be reintroduced as the winner of the 2014 Nightmare Rumble Jay Bradley. Gilbert does so as Bradley starts putting down Jamin Olivencia & Rudy Switchblade for thinking they are the top contenders when it was him who won the 20 man Rumble last week on TV. He deserves the next shot at the title and everybody here knows it. Gilbert asks what about Cliff Compton and the match last Saturday that Bradley walked out on. Bradley says no that never happened. There was no contract for that match, and as far as Bradley is concerned, all he did at the Special was take out 6 wannabe talents and what happened with Compton was him trying to take advantage of his tired state. If Compton wants a match, come back and face him like a man, but he knows Compton is too much of a coward to ever do that. Gilbert says that indeed Compton is not here tonight so he can't answer the challenge, but that they do expect him back in the weeks to come so Bradley has not heard the last from him.
Match #3
Eddie Diamond defeats The Body Guy @ 5:27 via pinfall after a flying elbow smash from the top rope. A big win for EFD today on TV, but no time to celebrate because The Body Guard is in immediately after the win from his ringside position. He drives Diamond back into the corner, scoops him up and drops him with a front slam. After that he locks in a bear hug on Diamond before finally releasing the hold. Diamond is left laying with Body Guy now back up and acting like he won the match, but Dean says everybody here knows better than that crap. Titus says no, it's he who stands tall and the war is won by The Body Guy, just like at Kentucky Kingdom on July 25 when The Body Guard takes out Rob Terry in the Stretcher match. Dean says that he will believe that when he sees it.
-- Fourth commercial break --
Match #4
Heidi Lovelace & Jessie Belle defeat Taeler Hendrix & Ray Lynn @ 5:08 when Heidi pinned Lynn after a Shining Wizard. The big story here is during the match, the 2014 Miss OVW is announced and will start next week here on TV. This is a series of competitions that will go through a variety of different skills. During the later stages of the match, Taeler refused a tag from Ray as Heidi anxiously awaited her in the ring. After the match, Taeler stepped down from the apron as Heidi & Jessie celebrated the victory in the ring. She approached the commentary and told them that this match did not matter, she did not lose, and she was making sure to preserve herself for the start of the Miss OVW next week. She wants to make sure she is at her best and Heidi does not take a cheap shot on her to ruin her otherwise perfect face. Titus agrees that Taeler is a perfect 10 and Dean tells him to quit sucking up because he has seen the type of man Taeler goes for and the biggest problem for Titus is that the keyword there is "man". Titus says he is more of a man than half that locker room, to which Dean says is almost agreeable because about half the locker room is female.
-- Fifth commercial break --
Back from break and Mohammad Ali Vaez is out to talk with Gilbert. Vaez tells him and the fans that last week was exactly what Ohio Valley needed and a dose of what goes around, comes around for The Marauders. He saw what happened earlier with their attack, and they can do that all day long to guys like that, but guys like him will fight back, even if it is 3 on 1. Nick Dinsmore and Rob Conway will be here next week to talk about what their future here holds, but what his future holds is revenge against his 1 time tag team partner Fabiano Rolento and manager Bin Hamin. Together they were The Insurgency but he has long since seen the light. People like Rolento and especially Hamin need to be eliminated from OVW and he intends to be the 1 to do it.
Match #5
Jamin Olivencia and Rudy Switchblade fought to a no contest @ 10:46 when the Southern champion Marcus Anthony interfered, attacking both wrestlers. The main event made at the onset of the broadcast was a hotly contested match with several near falls. Switchblade blocks the O Drop and manages to instead sweep out Olivencia's legs. As he is readying to turn him for the Boston Crab, Anthony slid in and decked him with the Gamma Punch. As Olivencia got up, Anthony took him out with a clothesline and locked in the Crimson Omen full nelson. Anthony then locked in the hold on Switchblade and what was meant to be a top contenders match today has ended with both men laid out by the Southern champion. Timmy Danger gets in the ring and wastes little time gloating about this. He has a mic in hand and tells everybody here that the dominance of Anthony is unquestionable with nobody here able to stand up to him. He already beat Olivencia, he beat Switchblade, neither of them deserve another opportunity, and together they are leaving OVW and taking the title with them until there is a challenger here that can stand up to Anthony and give him the test that he deserves. Dean is in shock as the Southern champion has never walked out like this before and it would leave OVW without a champion, while Titus is in agreeance with Danger and that Anthony is far and away the best thing here. But before they can leave ...
Danny Davis is out! He says to wait just 1 minute here and Anthony & Danger stop and stay in the ring. They are not going anywhere because if they walk out that door right now, they can be damn sure that they are not taking that belt with them, and there are about 25 wrestlers in the back that can make sure of that if they have to! That gets some cheers as Danger just laughs. Who is going to stop them? Davis? Anthony smirks at that idea, but Davis has other plans. He surprisingly agrees with Danger right now. Neither Jamin Olivencia nor Rudy Switchblade deserve the next shot at Anthony and neither were going to get it anyway, as unimpressive as attacking 2 wrestlers after they have been out here for 10 minutes going at each other is. This match as some sort of pseudo #1 contender match was Danger's idea but it wasn't his. There was no need for it because there was already a new #1 contender. A man that has went through anybody and everybody put before him since his return, and if Danger wants somebody that can stop Anthony from leaving, he welcomes him to try getting by this man ...
Big Rob Terry! The Freak! He steps through the curtain to a big pop and Anthony nods at this, looking like a rabid dog eying their prey. The 2 biggest men in Ohio Valley, the 2 biggest physical threats, they are now locking eyes. Danger is less enthusiastic about the idea and tries backtracking. Fine, give Jamin Olivencia the next shot. Give it to Rudy Switchblade. Just not Rob Terry. But it is too late. August 2 at the next Saturday Night Special, former tag team partners as The Furions explode when Rob Terry challenges Marcus Anthony for the Southern Title. Big news to close the show, and big news for next week when Nick Dinsmore & Rob Conway, The Lords of The Ring, are here at the Davis Arena! Also the 2014 Miss OVW competition begins. Next week, don't miss it!
