We get a cold opening with the President of NWA Lonestar, Gabe Sapolsky, appearing on video screen to the live audience. First, he says he will be in the arena tonight for Samoa Joe's official contract signing with Lonestar! However, before that, he has a major announcement. Sapolsky says that the Briscoe Brothers were right last week - since neither los Hijos del Toros nor the Bravado Brothers were victorious last week, neither team has been declared the sole number one contender to the NWA World Tag Team Championships. Instead, they both have! That's right, in two weeks at Summer Stampede, the Briscoes will defend their titles against los Hijos del Toros and the Bravado Brothers in a one fall, triple threat match! In a prelude to the title match at Summer Stampede, the next two weeks will see two separate triple threat singles matches featuring one member from each team!
Previously on NWA Championship Wrestling: Samoa Joe accepted Daisuke Sekimoto's challenge and announced his contract has been transferred to Lonestar, where he will sign a contract extension tonight ... In a match to determine the number one contenders to the NWA World Tag Team Championships, currently held by the Briscoe Brothers, neither los Hijos del Toros nor the Bravado Brothers were able to win due to the interference of the champions ... After a victory in a replacement match over Jigsaw, Jeff Hardy was attacked by Anthony Nese ... Shiima Xion and Tyler Breeze decided to clean up Lonestar by getting rid of all the ugly people, and set their first target on Silas Young, injuring him after a vicious assault ... Brooke Tessmacher made her Lonestar debut and immediately called out Velvet Sky for "inappropriate behavior," and Sky challenged her to a match tonight on NWA Championship Wrestling!

The camera pans the sold out Judson F. Williams Convention Center in El Paso as Jeremy Borash and former NWA World Heavyweight Champion Terry Funk welcome the audience to another edition of NWA Championship Wrestling! Borash and Funk go over the blockbuster announcement that will see both los Hijos del Toros and the Bravado Brothers get their chance at the Briscoe Brothers at Summer Stampede! Speaking of Summer Stampede, Borash starts, it was announced last week that Samoa Joe has accepted the challenge of Daisuke Sekimoto for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship at the event, but tonight, Joe officially signs his Lonestar contract! First, though, we get to our opening match of the night!
Someone's losing streak will end tonight as all three men in the opening contest are winless in their NWA Lonestar careers. A strong opener despite the lack of momentum for the three men with ACH and AR Fox doing everything in their power to pull out the victory and Dallas seemingly waiting on the sidelines, picking his spots on when to attack. ACH and Fox had enough and double teamed Dallas, but neither man could put him away. Fox clotheslined Dallas over the ropes and out of the ring and turned his attention on ACH. ACH squirms out of Fox's Krunch attempt, and hits the Big Bang Attack DDT! Fox is out and ACH goes for the cover, but Dallas slides in and breaks the count just before the referee's hand hits the mat for three! Dallas hits the Bo-Dog and pins "the Young Simba" at 8:15!
After Borash and Funk do a quick rundown on the match, Anthony Nese is shown walking backstage. Borash says he will explain his actions after the first commercial break of the evening!

Renee Young welcomes a well dressed Anthony Nese into the ring and she immediately questions him as to why he attacked Jeff Hardy last week. Nese says it was simple - he was undefeated in Lonestar and in the promotion's reshuffling in May, he was cut. He was finally resigned to a contract and what happens? He is put on the 'B' Show. Well, that all changed with his attack last week. Lonestar officials were running around with their head cut off and he seized the opportunity. Clearly he was right, since he's ...
Nese is cut off by "No More Words" by EndeverafteR blasting through the public address system as Jeff Hardy comes to the stage. Hardy tells Nese that if he was looking to make a name for himself he attacked the right man. Hardy says he was hoping to challenge Joe for the World Heavyweight Championship but since Joe is a little busy that night, sounds like Nese will be wrestling "the Charismatic Enigma" at Summer Stampede!
The crowd roars in approval and Nese smiles before accepting the challenge. Hardy ends the segment with a stern warning - "You're in the creatures house, and when you mess with the head creature, we make it a living nightmare for you!"

Jeremy Borash and Terry Funk welcome viewers back to the broadcast as Brooke Tessmacher makes her way out to the ring. During her entrance, a video is played that highlights her comments last week made towards her opponent tonight, Velvet Sky, and Sky's subsequent challenge to the match.
The bell has barely rung and Sky immediately tackles her opponent in the first women's contest in Lonestar history. Tessmacher eventually evens the contest out but Sky catches her with a side Russian leg sweep. Sky calls for the In Yo Face facebuster. Tessmacher makes a motion with her hands just before she is kicked in the gut and hit with the In Yo Face! Before she can make the cover, though, Sabin is attacked outside the ring by the American Wolves! Sky goes over to the side of the ring to yell at the Wolves as Alex Shelley, Sabin's tag team partner, runs down from the back to even the odds!
Inside the ring, Tessmacher makes it to her knees and rolls Sky up in a school boy for the surprise three count and victory at 6:15! Both of the Motor City Machine Guns are laying on the floor as an upset Sky goes to tend on her team. The Wolves step into the ring and Tessmacher grabs a microphone. She tells Sky that last week she said Chris Sabin wasn't a real man, so she brought in the Wolves to show her what one looks like! Sky screams that she will pay for this as we head to commercial break.

Borash and Funk welcome the viewers back to NWA Championship Wrestling as Borash gets a serious tone on his face. He goes over the vicious assault that Shiima Xion and Tyler Breeze laid on Silas Young last week. Borash notes that Young suffered fractured ribs and a concussion. He will be out of action indefinitely and wishes Young a speedy recovery. Borash then says that earlier today, Xion and Breeze were up to their antics again. He warns the viewers of the graphic nature we are about to see.
Earlier today, Xion and Breeze were backstage. Breeze had his arm wrapped around Xion's neck and held him tight. Both men put their best duck faces on as Breeze held out his mobile phone and took a selfie. Upon inspection, Xion asks, "What is that?" The camera backs up as Breeze begins to freak out. It turns out, a member of the production team inadvertently photo-bombed the picture! "Why did that ogre get in my picture?!" Breeze screams. The previously oblivious staff member hears the scream and looks up, only to be met with a Beauty Shot spinning wheel kick. Xion picks the larger man up and drills him with From Lust to Dust, a snapmare driver.
The man is unconscious as Breeze and Xion take another selfie. "That's better!" a delighted Breeze says.
A disgusted Borash immediately sends things over to ring announcer Bobby Cruise for the main event introductions!

We return from commercial break with Gabriel holding Nick in a headlock. Jackson is able to break the old and eventually Gabriel is knocked down with a back body drop. Both men make tags and Kidd is quick to knock Matt down with a dropkick. Nick is just getting to his feet when he is knocked down with a dropkick as well and he falls out of the ring. Gabriel goes over to the Jackson's corner and climbs on their turnbuckles, leaps off, and hits a diving cross body on Nick! In the ring, Kidd goes for the Dungeon Lock, but Matt breaks free. Kidd hits a stiff kick in the face, knocking Matt down, before heading to the top rope. Matt scrambles to his feet and pushes the ropes, causing Kidd to hit the top turnbuckle on his groin! Matt slams him down with a rope assisted DDT and pins him for the three count at 9:28.

The NWA World Heavyweight Champion Samoa Joe is welcomed to the ring by Renee Young, who will oversee tonight's official contract signing. Joe's contract was transferred from his former home territory, NWA California Pro Wrestling, two weeks ago and he will sign a contract extension with Lonestar here tonight. Also in attendance is Lonestar President Gabe Sapolsky, who is a close acquaintance of Joe's.
Sapolsky states that it is an honour to once again work with Samoa Joe and he presents a Lonestar contract to Joe. He notes that both parties have already gone over the documents and Sapolsky signs the contract. Joe says when he became NWA World Heavyweight Champion, he promised he would take on all challengers. Thus far, he has fulfilled his promise and he will continue to do so, which is why he came to Lonestar. Lonestar presents the biggest challenge of his reign in two weeks at Summer Stampede. He wants Lonestar to continue coming up with challenges and he signs the contract!
The Michael Schenker Group's "Into the Arena" blasts through the public address system as Joe's challenger for Summer Stampede, Daisuke Sekimoto comes into the arena! Sapolsky flees the ring and Joe rises from his chair as the two men go face to face! The men stare each other down for nearly a full minute when Sekimoto catches the champion with a head butt, knocking him on his back! Rather than get up and attack, Joe sits on the mat and smiles at Sekimoto, who remains motionless this whole time.
Borash tells the fans we are out of time and reminds them to check their local listings for NWA Championship Wrestling next week. As the camera fades into the NWA Lonestar logo, you see a trickle of blood flow from Joe's nose.
