Southern Heavyweight champion: Marcus Anthony
Southern Tag Team champions: Shiloh Jonze & The French Stallion
TV champion: Dylan Bostic
Women's champion: Jessie Belle
Dean Hill, Gilbert Corsey, and Michael Titus welcome viewers to the show. The Rage In The Cage and the iPPV debut is fast approaching. We know that Jamin Olivencia challenges Marcus Anthony for the Southern Title also inside a Steel Cage. Today on TV, Anthony speaks, and Olivencia is in action in the main event as he goes 1 on 1 with The Ultimate Fighter Jay Bradley. Dean says that is 1 of the biggest main events out here he can remember in months. Also today, the Women's Title to be decided when new champion Jessie Belle defends against former champion Heidi Lovelace. More qualifying matches for the King of The Valley multi man ladder match for a guaranteed shot at any championship here, any time. Last week Rob Terry, Paredyse, and Eddie Diamond all qualified. Today more names join that list. But right now ...
Doug Basham is out to start the show!
What is this crap?, Dean asks aloud. The Benedict Arnold of OVW, the self made Million Dollar Man is headed to the ring. Joining him are the still Southern Tag Team champions Shiloh Jonze & The French Stallion, fresh off stealing a win last week, as well as Fabiano Rolento with the black flag of anarchy that was laid across the prone body of Danny Davis at the last Saturday Night Special. The 4 are in the ring as Basham takes a mic. He starts off by saying that what the fans have seen is just the beginning of what is to come. Anarchy reigns in Ohio Valley because without Danny Davis, anybody that can take charge will be in charge, and he is that man. Nobody in the back dare question him because the same blood that flows through Davis flows through him. Almost 15 years ago, he started a Revolution in Ohio Valley as The Machine. At Rage In The Cage on October 11, it finally completes itself. Together with Jonze, Stallion & Rolento, they are The Blacklist, and if anybody gets in their way, they can add their name right to the top of it so that they can join his uncle laid up in a hospital bed somewhere. Right now though, he wants to call somebody from the back. He wants to invite to the ring, Cliff Compton?!
Mr. Media heads out and cautiously enters the ring as Basham tells him not to worry. They are not here to attack, they are here to talk business. Basham says he has heard Compton's words the last weeks. While he may think they have fallen on the deaf ears of Danny Davis & TPT, he has heard him loud and clear. If Compton wants an opportunity, look no further than The Blacklist. Money. Women. Titles. Compton can have it all if he accepts this offer. He can relate to what Compton is going through because years ago he faced the same fate. He was #1 here and Danny Davis just kept wanting to go with younger, give opportunities to the under dog. Screw that! Just like Basham was forced out, the same is happening now to Compton, but together they can do something about it. They can push their agenda, but Basham has his vision and it is Cliff Compton, Southern Heavyweight champion. Compton seems to be considering the offer and why not? It seems great on the surface. Before he can answer though ...
From the back comes the Director of Authority Trailer Park Trash. He tells Basham from the floor that was a great speech out here, even a nice catchy little name they have, but it will be more true than even he knows because once they get through with him, that is what he will be. Black listed and black balled from wrestling for good! Danny Davis might not be here, but he is. And those men in the back have more trust in him than they do Basham any day of the week. If they want a war, they are going to get it, and they are going to get it on Saturday, October 11 at Rage In The Cage. That cage is already going up for 1 match, might as well make it 2. Basham's got his group of merry little men, TPT's gonna gather a group of his own, and they are going to have themselves a match that could be called caged anarchy, but he likes to just call it the War Games! 5 on 5. And if Basham wins, TPT will step down as D.O.A., Basham takes over and he can do whatever he damn well pleases out here. But when TPT's team wins, The Blacklist must permanently disband because Basham can never set foot inside the Davis Arena again. Basham says he could just have them take out TPT right now and do whatever they want anyway, but what would be the fun in that? He accepts, they accept, and The Blacklist will meet Team OVW on October 11 inside the War Games.
TPT says that is great, but he is not finished because while he may or may not be D.O.A. after October 11, he definitely is the D.O.A. right now! Shiloh Jonze & The French Stallion have used highway robbery to keep those Southern Tag Team belts. He cannot strip them of the title but what he can do is make their lives a living hell. They have a match signed with Aaron Sky & Robbie Walker, and while they might have thought it was non title, it is now for the title and they deserve that chance after winning the 4 way at the SNS. This is a title match and every match they have going forward will be for the title until they lose them, or he loses the D.O.A. position, whichever comes first. And not only is Rolento to be barred from ringside, but he will add to that - Basham & Compton are both barred as well. And if any of them interfere, The Marauders will be instantly stripped of the belts. Basham just laughs, fine. Give these 2 wannabes, they 2 nobody's their shot, they will beat them with their eyes closed. But fair is fair. Ban Mohammad Ali Vaez, ban Rob Conway, ban Danny Davis, and ban himself! Basham does not trust TPT as everybody knows he is just the puppet of Danny Davis. TPT says fine, but not to go anywhere because the match is next! The Southern Tag Team Title are on the line and will be every match for The Marauders until they lose them and The Blacklist seems complete, but Dean points out there was technically no official answer from Compton, yes or no, as TPT came out before he could answer.

Aaron Sky & Robbie Walker defeat the Tag Team champions Shiloh Jonze & The French Stallion @ 5:53 when Sky pinned Jonze with a rollup thanks to the interference of a returning Michael Hayes! Sky & Walker are the new Tag Team champions?! A shocking upset begins the show as the months long reign of The Marauders comes to an end. The more experienced champions had the match in hand, even getting cocky by pulling up their opponents' shoulders before the 3 just to deliver more punishment feeling that they had the match in hand. Stallion went over and knocked Walker off the apron at which point the referee focused on getting him out of the ring. As this went on, from the crowd came somebody. Entering the ring, it was Hayes, the 1 legged Iraqi war vet. Last seen way back on May 17 on TV in an attack at the hands of The Marauders, Hayes was back today and with a vengeance. Jonze looked like he had seen a ghost as he turned and begged off. Stallion tried getting past the referee, but this just further drew the referee to try and get him out. Hayes lifted Shiloh up and hit him with the facebuster to the prosthetic leg. Sky covered as Hayes left the ring. Walker was over and grabbed Stallion to keep him from breaking up the count and new Tag Team champions are crowned! A shock maybe as the rookies Sky & Walker take the belts. Basham is out from the back with Rolento and is pissed at this!
-- Second commercial break --
Back from break and Davis Arena is still buzzing from the title change. TPT is out to talk with Gilbert, wanting to congratulate Sky & Walker, 2 deserving young men. Not only that, but hmmmm, Basham said no Vaez, no Conway, but he said nothing about this man, and welcomes back to OVW, Michael Hayes! The fans pop as Hayes comes out again and shakes hands with TPT. Hayes says that Basham & The Marauders tried to put him down and take him out many months ago, but he is back. Not only that but TPT says that Hayes is the first member of Team OVW for the War Games. While he may be just 1 man, he has more heart than all of The Blacklist combined. As for the rest of his team, in due time. Basham made a mistake showing all his cards already and everybody will have to wait until next week to find out the rest of Team OVW for the War Games.
Chris Silvio defeats Stuart Miles @ 5:28 via pinfall after The Rocket Punch. And if you are thinking didn't The Pastor of Disaster get a chance at qualifying last week? That he did. But he lobbied a complaint that he was in no condition to perform last week on TV after the I Quit match at the Saturday Night Special and got himself a second chance to qualify tonight. Unfortunately for him it was against The Psychedelic Superstar. Silvio took the match and becomes the 4th wrestler now to qualify for the Money In The Bank style ladder match for a guaranteed title shot, The King of The Valley match. He joins Rob Terry, Paredyse, and Eddie Diamond so far.
-- Third commercial break --
Before the next match, The Mean Girls are out to talk with Gilbert, Scarlett Bordeaux wearing her Miss OVW tiara. When they were last seen, problems between Nikki St. John & Scarlett cost Taeler Hendrix a #1 contenders match. Taeler says that is all in the past now. While it was mostly Scarlett having an attitude problem, not accepting that Taeler was the queen bee and trying to upstage her by winning Miss OVW, Scarlett has finally realized the flaws in her approach. She knows now that Taeler is #1, Nikki is #2, and Scarlett is #3. Gilbert asks why they are being ranked. Taeler & Nikki laugh as she answers that is spoken like a true #3 commentator. And 1 more thing, as Taeler takes the tiara from Scarlett and puts it on herself. That looks better, much better Nikki adds before giving Scarlett a dirty look, but takes it. All is apparently ... fine? Sure doesn't seem like it from Scarlett's perspective as the bullying continues.
Women's champion Jessie Belle defeats Heidi Lovelace to retain the title @ 6:08 via pinfall with a schoolgirl, thanks to a distraction from Tracy Smothers!? Daddy's back as he provides the distraction that allows for his daughter to retain the title when it seemed Lovelace was on the verge of regaining the belt. Smothers would show up at ringside, grabbing the Women's Title away from the desk. After the match, he handed it off to his daughter and raised her arm in victory, adding that a Smothers always wins in the end. Dean puts 2 and 2 together and says this must be who Jessie Belle was making reference to last week, the person who had got in her ear about not doing things for the fans. Titus says that if that is the case, then Tracy Smothers may be the smartest man in the building because they have the Women's Title right now, not Heidi Lovelace.
-- Fourth commercial break --
Before the next match, TV champion Dylan Bostic is out to join for commentary. He says that while he lost last week in the qualifier, today The Mexicutioner is going to win and then Bostic will be back in with that spot. The only person that is winning the King of The Valley is him, the Justin Bieber of Professional Wrestling. TV champion today, Southern champion tomorrow.
Ryan Howe defeats The Mexicutioner @ 5:46 via tap out to the Whammy Bar, his version of The Fujiwara Armbar. The Rockstar becomes the latest to qualify as despite Bostic's talk, The Mexicutioner cannot back it up 1 on 1 when the bell rings. During the match, it also get announced that next week here on TV, Bostic must defend the TV Title against the man that defeated him last week, Paredyse. Bostic seems taken back by that and gets overly confident. When asked about the masked Metal Master last week, Bostic says whatever. That is behind them, he defeated him already at the last Saturday Night Special. As this goes on, Howe manages to get the submission move onto The Mexicutioner out of nowhere and gets him tapping. Bostic cannot believe it. Take #2 fails and like Stuart Miles earlier, he is still on the outside looking in, and that is with only 1 spot in the match remaining. As it stands now, Rob Terry, Paredyse, Eddie Diamond, Chris Silvio, and now Ryan Howe have all qualified for the multi man ladder match. Who will get the 6th and final spot???
-- Fifth commercial break --
Back from break and the Southern champion Marcus Anthony is out with manager Timmy Danger to talk with Gilbert. Danger says that is a great day as Anthony is now 100% healed and ready to go against all comers. In fact next week he will be in action on TV to prove to all the Jamin Olivencias of the world that you do not mess with the big dawg in the yard. This man is the Southern champion and will continue to be long past The Rage In The Cage. What is the only thing worst than going eye to eye with a rabid dog? Locking yourself in a cage with 1 and that is exactly what Jamin is doing. Gilbert asks about the problems we saw in the lead up to the Rob Terry match between Danger & Anthony and if they are smoothed over. Danger says there were never any problems and it was typical media, making something out of nothing. Anthony is #1 and is going to stay that way.
Match #5
Jamin Olivencia defeats Jay Bradley @ 10:34 via pinfall after the O Drop, a jumping bodyscissors into a DDT. A competitive match and challenge for the #1 contender that sees The Ultimate Fighter give him a good fight. At 1 point he is even able to lock in the rear naked choke, but Olivencia is able to get to the ropes before tapping. Bradley hits the big Boomstick clothesline, but Olivencia instinctively throws a shoulder up just before the 3. He began making a comeback though, at which point Bradley went to the outside. After a consultation with Mongo, that was enough. Bradley had had enough for the day and it was time to hit the showers. Walking back looking to the ring, through the curtain steps Rudy Switchblade! Bradley unknowingly walks into him and turns to get the confrontation. The commentators remind everybody of Bradley's negative comments towards Switchblade last week. Bradley had no choice but to return to the ring. As he got in, Olivencia immediately caught him with the O Drop and finished him off. A big win for Jamin, and things between Switchblade and Bradley look to be just getting started.
Quick plug for next week - Marcus Anthony is in non title action, Paredyse challenges Dylan Bostic for the TV Title, and TPT will announce the rest of Team OVW for the War Games match at Rage In The Cage. All roads lead to iPPV and it is coming up fast. Next week, don't miss it!
