CS:" Welcome to Fighting Spirit, I'm your host Chris Shore. On tonight show we will see the in ring debut Matt Hardy. The Southern Savior John Skylar will not be here tonight. The main event will The Black Boots Society will battle Speed Kills for the number 1 contender spot for The U.S. Tag Team Titles. Let's get to the ring for our first match."

*Match#1

Anthony Henry & Chase Brown & Brady Pierce defeat Joe Black & Todd Sexston & Brandon Parker via pinfall.

This is a showcase for six of the young stars of Mid Atlantic Wrestling. The team of Brown, Henry, Pierce looked real good in the win. The finish comes when Henry hits a double knee to the face of Parker.

*Match#2

Matt Hardy w/ Reby Sky defeats Lee Valiant via pinfall.

Hardy was all business tonight. Valiant was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Hardy wins the match with Twist of Faith for the win. After the match Hardy grabs the mic.

*MH" Last week Southern Death took out another one of my friends C.W. Anderson. I know your plan Skylar. In two weeks I will bring a friend in to watch my back."

*Chris Shore tells us that next week will be a special ladies edition of Fighting Spirit. When Nwa Mid Atlantic presents Queens Of Combat. The main event will be The Southern Sweetheart Chasity Taylor Vs Reby Sky.

*Match #3 Main Event

The Black Boots Society ( Biff Busik & Timothy Thatcher) & Speed Kills( Trevor Lee & Jaxson James) battle to a time limit draw.

This is a great match. BBS take control from the opening bell. They show why they are two of the best wrestlers in the Nwa. They double team James in their corner. Busik hits a sick German suplex on James for a near fall. He tags in Thatcher who hits two lifters . He goes for a third lifter, but James counters with a kick to the stomach . James tags in Lee, and the pace got faster. Lee hitting everybody with dropkcks and Knee lifts. All four men are in ring. Lee catches Busik with a spring board face plant. Thatcher hits Lee with a Sky high Lifter. Then James takes Thatcher head off with a running Lariat . Only to be German suplexed by Busik as the bell rang. T.V. ended with all four men on the ground.

I was just thinking about Anthony Henry, as I think he is one of the most underrated wrestlers I've ever seen. Very glad to see him pick up a win, even in a six man match. I love the move to do a women's exclusive show next week, and I hope it's something you do periodically. Busick and Thatcher is a great pairing, as I've been high on them for years and I've just recently become acquainted with Lee and James, but the match seemed like it would a great TV match and maybe one of the best you've put on so far.

Some good stuff here. Interested to see who Matt Hardy will be bringing in to watch his back. Leaving it open ended definitely gives the impression to the audience it would be Jeff Hardy so I would tread carefully with that as done improperly with somebody else, it would likely be a disappointment if not him. Not saying it will be by any means, just that the bar gets raised a bit by the natural association so it needs to be a scenario that would get a pop no matter who. Personally I would love to see Jeff at some point as a Hardyz vs Country Jacked series could greatly prolong the Hardy vs Skyler feud and bring it to another level. Maybe not yet though as Jeff somewhat overshadows Matt and this is still very much about Matt vs Skyler.

Nice main event with the draw. Interested to see what sort of follow up comes from that. Both teams need something big to make their title shot have a bit more impact and doing this first will certainly make a rematch's result have that.

Still have to say though, hoping for more going on with the rest of the talent. The 3 things with your focus are going great - Cedric Alexander, Hardy vs Skylar, and the U.S. Tag Team Title, but you could use another couple things if as you said in that other thread, you are running a big show in late October. And again, not even necessarily feuds, just something with attention attached to them, differentiation from the rest of the card. Big women's match, a guy on a undefeated push put in jeopardy, a contenders match for the next shot at the title, there are a ton of options.
