Heavyweight champion: Jamin Olivencia
Tag Team champions: Raul Lamotta & The Mexicutioner
TV champion: Metal Master
Women's champion: Jessie Belle
An attack at the hands of The Blacklist at the Saturday Night Special, the champion of OVW is out and most likely will address the pairing right now as he looks to be in a foul mood. Olivencia calls Shiloh Jonze & The French Stallion nothing but vampires, trying to suck the life blood out of OVW. They failed inside War Games back at Rage In The Cage, but now this radicalized faction seems to have a new plan of attack. Fabiano Rolento, dead weight and gone. Doug Basham, failed leader and gone. Jonze & Stallion don't seem to want to quit though and rather have raised the stakes by not only targeting the champion, but then their actions last week took things a step further. They jumped Elijah Burke just like they did him, and not only that, but they stole his King of The Valley briefcase with the contract for a guaranteed shot at his title. While he has a target on him because he's the champion, specifically from Burke, he has a new found respect for him. See, he could have cashed in at the Saturday Night Special after that attack, but he chose not to. If Burke is going to beat him, it will be in the ring like a man and he respects that. After the 30 minute Ironman match they had back in July that blew the roof off this place, they share a mutual respect in this ring like few in the back. So it is with that that he wants to call Burke to the ring right now. Surprising turn of events.
And with that, out comes The Pope Elijah Burke. No briefcase. He has nothing after the attack last week. Burke gets in the ring, but Olivencia tells him that before he says anything, he has an offer for him. Last week Burke called him out. He wanted to cash in and fight for the title because he wanted to be the champion that CM Punk wants 1 on 1. Hey, if it were up to Olivencia, they'd have done it right then and there, but Burke knows as well as he does that as long as The Blacklist are lurking, they could fight to the bone and it won't matter because Jonze & Stallion will be there to ruin it every single time. So just like Burke didn't cash in and take advantage of his vulnerable state at the SNS, last week Olivencia returned the favor by coming to Burke's aid. And while they both might want Punk, they both know they need to eliminate The Blacklist first. So what he is proposing is that on Saturday December 6 at the next Saturday Night Special, Jamin Olivencia & Elijah Burke team, they take out The Blacklist once and for all, and then with that briefcase back in hand, they do this and fight like the warriors that they are. Olivencia extends a hand and it doesn't take Burke long to nod and accept the offer.
From the back comes Danny Davis. Unknown what this is about. Davis says that while it is good to see both of them on the same page, fighting for OVW, that match they just booked will not happen because The Blacklist are banned from the company. And for that matter, neither Jamin Olivencia NOR Elijah Burke vs CM Punk will ever happen because there is no way that he would send his champion into battle against a man that has vowed to walk out on his company ahead of time with the championship in hand should he win it. Olivencia starts to speak when Burke cuts him off and says he's got this. To Davis, this may be about what they did and he and his team avenged that at War Games. Doug Basham's gone and he damn sure knows better than to show his face around here. But Shiloh Jonze & The French Stallion, this isn't an OVW thing, this is an Elijah Burke thing and a Jamin Olivencia thing. They made it pretty damn personal last week for him when they took that briefcase, and as long as they're roaming around without consequence, they will do what they want, when they want. If they don't act now, what's next? They took the briefcase and they could take the OVW Title next! For the same reason Davis is reluctant to sign any match with Punk, these 2 can just as easily do without any match at all. And make no mistake about it, they will do it. Davis ponders this and reluctantly nods his head. 1 match. He is giving them 1 match to do this and at the SNS on December 6, they had better succeed. Get that briefcase back and do not let the OVW championship belt fall into their hands. Main event for December 6 is set, albeit not without reluctance.

Metal Master & Paredyse and Eric Locker & Dylan Bostic fought to a no contest @ 4:38 when The Bully Rob Terry emerged, attacking the wrestlers. This match served as a preview for next week's TV Title match when Locker will challenge Metal Master after winning the recent Future Talent Showcase Tournament, meanwhile Bostic is still out in a dress and Paredyse is there to enjoy every minute of it and make sure he does not win. As the match went on, out from the back came Terry, jumping in the ring and clotheslining Paredyse. Locker escaped to the floor, but Metal Master came from the top rope onto Terry, who caught him and drove a knee to the back as he dropped him. Bostic begged off and tried to play up the dress as if Terry would be hitting a woman or something, but he pulled Bostic in, bent him over, lifted him up and powerbombed him down to the mat. Terry then requests a mic and says that last week, he was embarrassed by a 1 legged freak. Big mistake because you do not embarrass Rob Terry! This week, these wrestlers paid the price of the bill that Michael Hayes wrote up, and next week when Hayes gets what is rightfully his title shot, he'd better make sure he has eyes in the back of his head. Let this be a warning because Terry vows that it was a fluke and he will get his revenge whether Hayes likes it or not.

The Skywalkers defeat Deonta Davis & Leon Shelly @ 5:14 when Sky pinned Shelly after a double superkick. The former champions pick up a rebound victory today after losing the title at the November 8 Saturday Night Special. The commentators ask Shelly when the rematch will be since The Skywalkers are owed it. She seems to have trouble staying in 1 place as the camera catches her on her knees yelling at The Skywalkers during the match, on all 4s like a cat trying to seduce Gilbert into saying that her team is the greatest tag team champions in history while Titus begs her to be next, but she does not say when the rematch will be. Instead, next week there will be an over the top rope battle royal and the final 2 wrestlers will get a chance against Rudo Lamotta & The Mexicutioner that same broadcast. Dean calls that a suspect decision rather than just facing The Skywalkers, pissing her off and getting her to yell in his face from only an inch away that they do not deserve a rematch, they will earn it. And if they are lucky, the 2 of them will survive and they will get their chance at not only the Tag Team Titles, but the real prize being her, suggesting some sort of strange sexual 3 way as a prize that has Titus requesting to be in the battle royal. Post match sees The Skywalkers motion over that they are coming for their belts.

Ryan Howe defeats Stuart Miles @ 5:43 via DQ when Miles smashed an acoustic guitar over the head of the Rockstar, Honky Tonk Man style. While Howe came out with his usual electric guitar, performing his own intro, The Pastor of Disaster came out with an acoustic guitar strapped around his shoulder saying he was here to spread the good word of the Lord. Forget this rock music because he has something better, breaking out an awful version of Kumbaya that has fans covering their ears. Finally the match starts and while the Saturday Night Special rematch seems to be going in the favor of Howe, eventually Miles pulls his stunt. As Howe goes for the Whammy Bar, his Fujiwara armbar, Miles escapes and rolls out. He fakes leaving and wanting no part of Howe, but it is just that, fake, as he then grabs his acoustic guitar when Howe turns his back to beg the referee not to count him out and end it like that, and slides in. Miles readies and when Howe turns, Miles blasts the guitar over his head. Howe goes down as Miles seems pretty impressed with himself. He laughs and says that the Lord has smiled down on Louisville on this day, hallelujah! This feud not nearly finished as another chapter gets written that will have Howe seeking revenge against The Pastor.

Taeler Hendrix defeats Hannah Blossom @ 4:52 via pinfall after a roundhouse kick to the head. As with last week's websclusive, the Mean Girls entourage was up to 4 with the addition of Seleziya Sparx. Dean felt this was getting ridiculous to have 3 people outside the ring, while Titus thought it was just jealousy that Taeler has 3 women following her around while Dean has none. Hannah was in control when outside the ring, Seleziya would attack her sister Holly and drive her into the ringpost. This distracted Hannah as Seleziya challenged her to come out and do something about it, allowing to Taeler to recover and surprise Hannah when she turned around with the kick to the head. Afterward Taeler made Scarlett Bordeaux hold the ropes so the others could enter and told her to stay on the floor where she belonged. Nikki St. John went to raise Taeler's arm in victory, but Taeler pulled it away and instead had Selezia raise her arm in victory. A lot of politicking in the Mean Girls as Dean feels this is all just a control thing and sooner or later, Scarlett and maybe even Nikki now will wise up to this immature high school type crap.

Best of 5 Series - Match #3
As the next match is about to get started, a parade of lumberjacks head out. Paredyse, big Melvin Maximus, The Skywalkers - Aaron Sky & Robbie Walker, Rump Thump, The Pastor of Disaster Stuart Miles, Tag Team champions Los Rudos - Raul Lamotta & The Mexicutioner joined by new manager Shelly Martinez, The Body Guy, Dapper Dan, and complete in a dress still grabbing his head from the effects of a Rob Terry powerbomb earlier, Dylan Bostic. Dean says he thought this was a lumberjack match, not a lumberjill match. Gilbert wonders who wears it better, Martinez or Bostic? Titus says that Bostic will eventually get the last laugh from all of this. The Ultimate Fighter Jay Bradley then heads out with Mongo & Elvis Pridemoore. The question is, can Rudy Switchblade compete after what happened last week? Bradley using powdered plaster of paris in the Taped Fist match so the tape hardened during the sweat of combat into a cast like material, intensifying every punch that much more, en route to a 2-0 lead in the Best of 5 series. A win today would be #3, enough for a clean sweep. Bradley takes the mic and says that the referee needs to just count Switchblade out now and give him the win via forfeit cause he ain't coming out. The ref starts a count, but Switchblade heads out, ready to compete! The fans cheer and while Switchblade may have his ribs taped, he will not go down without a fight first.VS |
Match #5
Rudy Switchblade defeats Jay Bradley in a Lumberjack match @ 8:06 via pinfall with a small package, taking match #3 in the Best of 5 Series giving Bradley a 2-1 lead. This was not so much a lumberjack match in the traditional sense given Bradley's choice was more about humiliation of Switchblade in front of the boys. It seemed to work early on, but Switchblade would not give up. Every time Switchblade got some offense going, Bradley was able to offer up a counter and reverse the momentum, focusing on the ribs he had worked over last week in the Taped Fist match. Bradley's arrogance would be his eventual undoing as Switchblade surprised him with a small package and was able to roll him up for the 3 count and the win. The fans popped as Bradley was in disbelief, quickly exiting the ring angered by what had happened. Bradley in the post match justified it as being alright because he is still up 2-1, which both Mongo & Elvis seemed to agree with.
Switchblade was given a mic as he said he was not going to wait until next week on TV, but instead tell everybody right now what match he's choosing. This was a lumberjack match about keeping them inside the ring and to Bradley about humiliation, well look who just got humiliated and lost in front of the locker room. Next week though on Thanksgiving Thunder, there will be no boundaries, nobody throwing them back in, because it will be a Falls Count Anywhere match. That means ringside, the locker room, even the parking lot, but most of all, amongst the fans, so if anybody wants a chance to see Bradley get his ass handed to him up close and personal, be at the Davis Arena for this. Bradley doesn't like it, but Switchblade says there is something else. With that, he exits the ring and Bradley runs with Mongo, but Elvis gets stopped by some lumberjacks. Switchblade throws Elvis back in. The man who turned his back on Switchblade will now get his. Mongo says they gotta save him, but Bradley says screw it and they just leave, abandoning Elvis a second time. Switchblade locks in the Boston Crab and has Elvis tapping to a big pop.
Next week's TV will be the special Thanksgiving Thunder edition of OVW TV. Big stacked lineup for the holiday weekend that you will not want to miss. Not only will we see match #4 in the Best of 5 Series with Rudy Switchblade vs Jay Bradley. Get this though, all 4 titles will be defended. Metal Master defends his TV Title against Eric Locker. Jessie Belle defends the Women's Title against Mary Elizabeth Monroe. Over the top rope Battle Royal where the last 2 men standing will come back later that same hour to team and challenge Raul Lamotta & The Mexicutioner for the Tag Team Title. And the big match. A journey could be completed next week as Michael Hayes gets an opportunity at Jamin Olivencia with the OVW Title on the line. So much going down, it might be cliche, but this is a can't miss edition of OVW TV. So much happening next week, don't miss it!
Websclusive match #1
Dapper Dan defeats Jon Ramser @ 4:15 via pinfall after a big German Suplex. While losing in the semi final of the Future Talent Showcase tournament, Dapper Dan rebounds today on TV with a win over the Ram Jam. The Fan Advocate Terry Boddie is on commentary for the match with Mr. Wrestling Nick Dinsmore and the 2 wonder if the Dapper one may have his sights set on revenge against Rump Thump. Dinsmore says that both wrestlers are ready to break through and are going to be hungry. He doesn't know who he would put his money on in a rematch, but given the performance today of Dapper Dan, he can't be overlooked by anybody going forward.VS |
Websclusive match #2
Melvin Maximus defeats J Best @ 4:39 via submission to the Bear Hug. While Best is a taller wrestler, it is still nothing compared to the size and strength of Maximus as few are. Unlike last week though, The Body Guy was out on commentary here with Boddie for this match. Boddie wondered if the dominance of Maximus has Body Guy regretting the treatment that caused Maximus to walk. Body Guy first clarifies that Melvin didn't walk, he was fired, the mic just didn't pick it up. Second, yeah ok, he's looked alright. But a couple of wins over Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum on the internet is not the same thing as the competition that The Body Guy gets in there with on actual TV. Once he gets some real competition, maybe then Boddie and all the fans will see Maximus for what he really is, a nothing loser!VS |
