by MadStepDad
proudly presents...
"NYR5" Prelims free on NESN!!!"More than a century of Boston sports has led to one undeniable conclusion: in celebrating the athletes and places we ultimately are celebrating Boston itself - its physical presence, its emotional bonds, its history. Just as the course of the Marathon snakes through a patch of the American past, so Boston sports have formed a chain connecting one generation to the next. The chain has its separate links. A curse here, a dynasty there. Class arrogance and racism linked to ethnic and racial pride and odd sort of democratic openess. Some bad, some good, some great. All memorable. Something for all seasons".- "The Rock The Curse and the Hub"
(A Random History of Boston Sports)
Edited by Randy Roberts (2005)LIVE from snowbound BOSTON MA!!Broadcasting live from Elysian Fields on another bday excursion. Touching down for one more miraculous run. This is New Years Revolution - Nacho Fight Night - Birthday - Rolling Rally - NBA All-Star Weekend - Valentines Day - Blizzard 2015 celebration!! The biggest single collective of amazing moments in recent history! I witnessed Kyrie Irving of the Cavs go off for 55 to mark another memorable NBA bday-themed moment for me. Deflate Gate. Philly fans overturning the Roman Reigns bandwagon and setting it on fire. Nick Diaz busting moves during his fight with Anderson Silva that were better than Katy Perry & Missy Eliott at halftime. Blizzard 2015 and cancelled Raws. Muthaphuckkin Superbowl 49 and the ensuing victory parade! Standing on snowbanks nearly 10 feet high with my fingers in the air, I can safely proclaim this as one of the most momorable birthday months ever!!! Let's fuck some shit up! TONIGHT! We take our annual march through memory lane in a haze of pure Mash-Up mania! The Montreal Mafia has taken over BCCW, attempting to bring their Northern policies to the American masses! But staunch resistance still exists! BCCW HW champion (and Godfather of the Montreal Mafia) Le Lion Yvon Robert will defend the biggest title in New England (like the AFC championship, or Eastern Conference title) against the man who literally "stole" the #1 contendership (like the Patriots), Eddie Guerrero! Then - the WORLD TITLE is on the line in our high-powered main event! Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin will be defending against MMA, TNA champion Bobby Lashley (2014), with the full weight of the Montreal Mafia behind the challenger! All that and much much more! The greatest fantasy-wrestling empire is in Mash-Up Wrestling! This is BCCW and we mean business!! Ringside Commentators - as always - are Gordon Solie & Matt Striker (enjoying a new renaissance of critical acclaim since his American commentary runs in Japan & Lucha Underground)Backstage Correspondent and post-fight Interviewer Renee Young** CUT TO COMMERCIAL ** __________________________________________________________________________N.O.D. (BCCW 6-Man Bout)New Old Day Militia (led by Faarooq) will not let Boston or Amerikkka forget her frequent injustices. Their statement victory tonight gives another platform to further their inflammatory rhetoric. Faarooq (Heavyweight Singles Superstar) leads the "New Old Day Militia" 6-Man Tag Team
(feat: D-Von Dudley / wicked Kofi Kingston / "The Unnatural" Butch Reed)** CUT TO COMMERCIAL ** __________________________________________________________________________Don Eagle (w/ Taeler Hendrix) def. BLKJeez (w/ April Hunter) vs. Paul London
(Flyweight Triple Threat)Domestic violence on full display. BLKOut are arguably the most controversial unit in fantasy-wrestling today with their sexist, violent behavior. BLKJeez himself (1st ever BCCW Flyweight champion) took Paul London's valet Wendi Richter *out* with some horrific male-on-woman violence that is *banned* on most messageboards. Almost as soon as the bout between Eagle & Jeez began, Paul London ran in to attack BLKJeez and make it a sponteneous 3-way dance! Meanwhile Native American Warchief Don Eagle continues his furious ascent with another strong showing in victory tonight (pinning a tweaked-knee Paul London with a flying tomahawk counter). But the friction between opposing valets April Hunter & Taeler Hendrix (including another crowd-pleasing, clothes-tearing CAAAAATFIIIIIGHT!!!) keeps the issue between Don Eagle & BLKJeez fresh in mind! Especially after BLKJeez *slaps* Taeler Hendrix in the face, before fleeing from the enraged Eagle and taunting him from afar! BLKJeez (from BCCW BLKOut) commits a cardinal fantasy-wrestling *SIN*! But anything goes in Mash-Up Wrestling!!** CUT TO COMMERCIAL ** __________________________________________________________________________Outro** Video Recap & Closing summary from the commentators, giving "NEW YEARS REVOLUTION 2015" one last hard-sell!! ** BCCW President Paul Bowser himself appears alongside Solie & Striker to further publicize his own return to on-screen action, and add more hype to the already RAGING anticipation of NYR5! Rocky Marciano is the Guest Enforcer for the Main Event and President Bowser guarantees a fair fight! (as opposed to the schmozz, non-ending or what is now known as the "Canadian Finish")!! Celebrate a medley of Boston sports moments, history & icons with BCCW! The realest izh in fantasy wrestling today! Buy the muthaphuckkin PPV!! ** FADE OUT **

Welcome to "NYR2015!" ** __________________________________________________________________________** BCCW Flyweight Championship ** ADAM COLE (2015) © vs. JUSHIN LIGER (1995) w/ versus The Mash-Up Wrestling formula isn't precise. It doesn't flow neatly to a metronome nor can it be measured by grams, ounces or kilos. Instead, it is beautifully off-key. Helter skelter rhymes past the margins-type stuff. Sometimes it doesn't fit neatly in a tiny compartment, it must be set free like smoke rising to the Heavens. That which we have never conceived will been seen again. This is a glimpse into the future. In BCCW, that future belongs to Adam Cole. ROH TV champion. PWG champion. "ROH Survival of the Fittest 2014" winner. ROH champion. Mash-Up AWA TV Champion. One of the *Top 10 Wrestlers in the World* circa 2014 as recognized by PWI magazine. Now - he is reigning & defending BCCW Flyweight champion. The usual theory applies to brand-new fantasy concoctions; that is matches that have never been caught on camera before. But sometimes the rules must be rewritten and laws of the universe broken. Such is the case tonight with Adam Cole. BCCW usually doesn't re-transmit a match you have seen in real life. But sometimes we must shine the spotlight on those rare "fantasy Dream Matches" that *actually happened*. On May 17th 2014 in the Hammerstein Ballroom in NY, Adam Cole defended his title against NJPW legend Jushin "Thunder" Liger at "War of the Worlds". A true fantasy Dream Match in progress. The Mash-Up twist comes by shaving 20 years of mileage off Liger's performance, and adding the sizzling aura of cougar Sable (2003) to Adam Cole's act. Blast off. In the end, Cole blocks a Liger Bomb (with help from a Sable distractions) - grabbed Liger by the mask - and blasted him with a superkick! With Liger in a daze, Cole locks in his deadly Figure-4 leglock! WHOOOOO! The crowd roars in unison, and begets another "WE WANT FLAIR!" chant from the fans who remember the much-hyped "Trilogy" stable in BCCW that was to feature Flair & Cole teaming together (but was ruined by outside politics when Flair went to AGPW instead). Liger taps out! No honor or respect from Adam Cole, who declines a handshake and lets Sable slink all over him while flaunting the Flyweight title! The FUTURE of the Flyweight Division is NOW! Winner (and *still* champion): ADAM COLE** CUT TO VIDEO RECAP **__________________________________________________________________________SHEAMUS (2012) vs. CACTUS JACK (1995) (Xtreme Rulez Bout) versus Sheamus won the Royal Rumble in 2012 and began a character reset that had him main-eventing once again. By... he was champion and battling Daniel Bryan in hardcore Falls Count Anywhere matches that raised welts and workrate to new levels. The Mash-Up twist comes when adding this experience & championship reputation to his original monster heel incarnation (circa 2009). By contrast, his BCCW-run has been similar. He is credited as being the 1st HW champion since the companies relaunch (with a title lineage going back to Danno O'Mahoney). Like his Celtic Warrior namesake, Sheamus has raised xtreme violence to another degree on his crusade to reclaim championship gold (by attacking lighter weight wrestlers & backstage personnel). But in the BCCW Arena, the Irish buzzsaw has run directly into a barbed-wire mandible claw! Cactus Jack comes live and direct from the gutters of Philadelphia bingo halls with a reputation for foreign ultraviolence still fresh in the mind (and on the body). His battles with Shane Douglas and Sandman in ECW run parallel to BCCW feuds with the likes of Bobby Lashley over championship hardware. Foleys future run as duped pawn of the corporation (circa 1998) was mirrored in his BCCW run opposite evil Commissioner MVP. Now everybody wants to know if the bully heel Sheamus will finally get his comeuppance against somebody his own *size* (if not in sheer bulk, at least in hardcore fighting spirit). Blood-smeared, Red Sox riot-level mayhem that engulfs ringside and the first few rows. Concrete bumps, weapon shots and table dives. Each man ups the ante on the other, until the body of Sheamus is reddened & pulverized like raw meat. His ribcage is covered with raised, red welts like Nick Diaz after his UFC 183 battle with Anderson Silva. Cactus Jack is in the "putting over" phase of his career here, as he looks to give Sheamus the rub of a lifetime - while making him work to earn it. Sheamus complies. After brutalizing his own body and that of his opponent, Sheamus finally Celtic Crosses Jack *over* the top rope *through* a barbed wire board! The pinfall comes painfully soon after. Winner: SHEAMUS** CUT TO INSANE VIDEO RECAP / ** Promo from John Cena **__________________________________________________________________________

** BCCW Television Title **STEVE "Crusher" CASEY (1942) ©
versus
KENNY KING (2012) versus Casey is a solid-steel Heavyweight grappler, who in BCCW cannon, is loosely patterned on the 1968 Harvard Heavyweight Eight (aka "Yankees who knew what was right"). His strong family values and incredible athletic displays have earned him the undying gratitude of Red Sox nation. If Ted Williams were a Heavyweight Wrestler, he would be Crusher Casey (without the weird media idiosyncrasies). If any modern-day parallel can be drawn to Crushers BCCW portrayal, it would be that of the Rock coming back to win the WWE title in 2013 and carrying it proudly into the biggest show of the year (BCCW presents "BiB5" coming in June!) Kenny King is the hothead workhorse of the "Money Power Respect" stable and puts in an admirable performance tonight. Full of swagger & cocky smoothness, Kenny King helps bring an angry fire out of Crusher Casey we may have never seen before. Crusher Casey goes Babe Ruth on the ball and helps knock Kenny King into the 21st century with a Irish Sledge / Brogue Kick combination for the win. As Crusher Casey, the golden child of the golden era tips his hat in victory, the Mash-Up universe knows - "Year of the Yaz" will never end in BCCW. Winner (and *still* champion): CRUSHER CASEY** CUT TO VIDEO RECAP ** / ** Renee Young interview with HW Champion The French Lion **__________________________________________________________________________** BCCW 6-Man Tag Team Titles **WYATT FAMILY (2014) © vs. THE RUSSIANS (1984) versus w/ Nice 30-year Mash-Up symmetry. The Russians (circa 1984) versus The Wyatts (circa 2014). In this timeline the Russians are a violent, nationalistic threat (as they are again 30 years later) who had a distinctive run with the World 6-Man Tag Team titles (both real-world NWA and Mash-Up BCCW). Ivan & Nikita are headed towards more championship glory in the near future. For now, they are striving to reclaim their BCCW 6-Man titles from the team that unseated them. The Mash-Up twist comes when substituting Kruscher for MMA Monster Kozlov (2008 - 2009ish) and adding the mouthpiece Lana (2015), who has helped put their act over the top and *keep* them there for a record 6-Man title run. High-powered. On the other end of the spectrum, stands the American-themed, hometown "heroes" the Wyatt Family. While fundamentally they have changed nothing in their violent, psychotic approach to matches, the fans have taken to them because of their opposition to the xtremely-despised Russians (who, thanks again in part to Lana, have nuclear heat). In 2014 the Wyatts were at the peak of their powers, winning tag team titles and achieving solo glory from Bray's individual conquests. His scintillating verbal exchanges opposite comrade Ivan & Lana have included cryptic references to hidden America and all she holds dear. With the Russians on the way down, and Wyatts on the way up, the result can be argued is preordained. But the violent, visual journey is what really matters. Both teams write a symphony of slugfest, decorated with Patriotic fervor. Another crucial miscalculation between Uncle & Nephew allows Bray Wyatt to snatch Nikita Koloff in his "Sister Abigail" finisher in the end. Victory has wrought, but does anybody see the horror yet of Bray Wyatt wrapping himself in the bloodstained glory of the red, white & blue?? Winners (and *still* champions): THE WYATT FAMILY** CUT TO RECAP, Commentator Summary ** / WORLD CHAMPION Stone Cold Steve Austin has arrived in the building! **__________________________________________________________________________

** BCCW Middleweight Championship **KEVIN OWENS (2016) © vs. FRANK SCARPA (1962) versus NHL Stanley Cups Finals 2011. The rivalry between Frank Scarpa & (the newly-rechristened) Kevin Owens NXT is adjacent to that of the Boston Bruins versus Montreal Canadians. "Boston Strongmen vs Montreal Mafia". Some say this is the greatest rivalry in NHL history, with both teams playing each other more times, in both regular season play and the playoffs combined, than any other two teams in NHL history. In BCCW cannon, Kevin Owens stormed onto the scene and *stole* the Middleweight championship - a crusade the Frank Scarpa-led Boston Strongman have vowed in return. The cross-border shots and interpromotional warfare (that came to a head during the "War on the East Coast" / "Vote or Die" showdown) continues tonight. NHL Stanley Cup Finals 2013. This match has shades of the "Richard Riot" and if quantified in hockey terms would consist of six fights, a goalie fight, and a total of 187 penalty minutes (this includes members from both stables getting involved in extracurricular activities at ringside). NHL Stanley Cup Finals 2011. NHL Stanley Cup Finals 2013. The elation and the devastation. Shades of both tonight after "KILL OWENS KILL!" runs through Frank Scarpa like it's NXT and Scarpa were a Beantown version of Sammi Zane - meets - Rugged Ronnie Garvin. The Montreal Mafia capo retains tonight in devastating fashion. Winner (and *still* champion): KEVIN FN OWENS** CUT TO RECAP & Commentator analysis ** / ** Eddie Guerrero promo **__________________________________________________________________________** BCCW Heavyweight Championship **YVON "le Lion" ROBERT © vs. EDDIE GUERRERO versus The heartbreak & the Curse. This is like an Eddie Guerrero "Best-Of" mixtape. Eddie is the rip-roaring fan favorite who likes to say "I lie, I cheat & I steal... but at least I'm honest about it!" Eddie burst into BCCW like a ball of Latino heat, consuming Alberto del Rio (circa 2013) and Macho King Randy Savage (1989ish) on his way up the Heavyweight ladder. He used timing and guile to *steal* a HW title shot against Yvon Robert that will be redeemed tonight. Eddie is the triumphant underdog - the 2001 Patriots or 2004 Red Sox. But he is about to oppose the Yankee/Canadians/Death Star-mother ship Yvon Robert and his Montreal Mafia. All bets are off. Yvon Robert was created in Canada, but he was made in Boston. His most historic runs were with the original AWA. He was known as the "French Canadian Lion" and made his mark with a dastardly hit on Danno O'Mahoney (the 1st credited Heavyweight Champion in BCCW cannon). Eventually the Lion was exiled back to Montreal, where he built his bloody dynasty on the back of 16 International HW titles and ran roughshod over the Industry with his "Montreal Mafia". Now - he's Back in Boston with the army he needed to take what he truly wants - total control of BCCW in the highly-lucrative Northeast corrider of Mash-Up Wrestling! "The French Lion" is Godfather of the outfit, with his consiglieure BCCW Commissioner MVP and they have an all-star roster of sold-out talent in their empire. The BCCW HW crown belongs to Le Lion and there it shall stay - by any means necessary. Both men are cool as a cucumber to start, but when Eddie starts mocking Le Lion, the BCCW HW champion reacts with anger! That leaves Le Lion susceptible to Guerrero‘s speed & instinct - succumbing to hip tosses, arm-drags & dropkicks! More hilarious pantomiming from Eddie as the fans roar their approval. Eventually Le Lion takes over after a lowblow, and buries Guerrero with rights, lefts, European uppercuts and hard chops. Front facelock and a huge standing suplex from Le Lion, but still only a 2 count. All around the wrestling map they go, with Guerrero countering a leg-scissor from Le Lion into a Texas Cloverleaf submission, and Yvon stopping an Eddie frogsplash attempt with two raised knees. In the end, it is the actual BCCW Heavyweight championship itself that comes into play. The French Lion introduces it as a potential weapon, only to find *himself* clonked with it when the ref is momentarily distracted! Eddie quickly tosses the offending belt over the top rope and flops to the mat alongside Le Lion! Double KO! Crowd murmurs turn to a roar when they realize Eddie’s plan! “Slowly”, Eddie crawls to cover Le Lion… and gets the longest 2-count of the night! Before the ref can slap “3!”, he is *pulled from the ring* ankle first by MW Champion (and Montreal Mafia capo) Kevin FN Owens! Big time boos for that! Kevin Owens argues with the ref at ringside, Eddie argues with *him* - and completely misses the belt being reintroduced by Le Lion until it’s too late. BAM! Violent belt-shot to the back of Eddie’s head by Le Lion! Kevin FN Owens thrusts the referee back in the ring just in time to see Le Lion get the cover! Boo! 1! 2! 3!! BOOOOO! Le Lion retains, with more than a little help from his friends! Montreal Mafia! Winner (and *still*) BCCW HW Champion: LE LION ** CUT TO RECAP, Commentator outrage ** __________________________________________________________________________

JOHN CENA (2015) vs. ANDRE the GIANT (1997) (Heavyweight Bout) versus Cena is a Mash-Up mix of John L. Sullivan & Rocky Marciano. In pro-wrestling terms, Cena is the 1986 Boston Celtics - aka "best to ever do it". So if anybody can drag a sustainable match out of the prehistoric carcass of Andre the Giant (circa 1987) it is Superman Cena himself. Globally, Andre is perhaps bigger than ever after a high-profile BCCW TV Title run that was aborted due to injury. The undisputed "Battle Royal" King secretly seethed during his recovery, before returning to action and cementing his new heel-turned alliance (revealing Andre as "The Boss" of the Montreal Mafia was the Mash-Up equivalent of showing up on Pipers Pit with Bobby Heenan in tow). John Cena (2014) is his WM3 mil ticket. To add further Mash-Up pizzazz, Montreal Mafia lackies "Dangerous" Danny Davis & Harvey Wippleman accompany Andre to ringside (like low-budget copies of J&J Security from Raw circa 2015). Plenty of exaggerated tests of strength, and elongated bear hugs give the fans time to engage in their dueling chants ("let's go Cena! / Cena sucks!!") It seems even still there are people who can't recognize greatness in its own time. In a nod to WM3, Cena is crushed on a failed bodyslam attempt early and fights defensively most of the match. Wippleman & Davis are constant annoyances at ringside. There are a few teases at the end, but ultimately Cena does *not* slam the Behemoth! Instead, Andre manhandles him for a majority of the match before Cena makes his Superman comeback. Just when it looks like Cena may be able to *hoist* him up on his shoulders (!!!), Andre grabs the referee in desperation and breaks the hold! Andre attacks the ref and uses his body as a projectile against Cena! Instant DQ! Big time boos for that, as Andre continues his after-match beatdown on Cena! Finally the annoying duo of Davis & Wippleman come into play as foils for Cena's courageous comeback! Andre bails for good, allowing Cena to ragdoll these two pipsqueaks and toss them over the top rope onto Andre like Hefty bags of trash! The night and "win" belong to Cena, but he is far from satisfied with this finish. By the way he and Andre wag fingers and trash talk each other after the encounter, fans know this rivalry will have another chapter. For better or for worse. Winner (by DQ): JOHN CENA** CUT TO MAIN EVENT VIDEO INTRO & HYPE PACKAGE **"Now comes the drinking, the shouting, and the laying of bets. Now the reminiscing about the good old days in New York when electoral campaigns were bare-knuckle affairs in the alleys, the stories retold about how a certain McCoy killed Chris Lilly in the ring, and how the bonfires burned along Park Row after Hyer defeated Sullivan. Between swigs of burning liquor, some recall how Morrissey left Heenan for dead; others remember the blow to the forehead with which McCool felled Jones, that left him vomiting as if his brain had been shaken from its moorings".
