Today, following the announcement on NWA Maximum's latest show, it was confirmed that NWA Maximum will be the hosts of the next league wide PPV, NWA Summerslam. The event will take place on July 26th 2015 live in the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. It was also confirmed that all matches on this card, unless specified otherwise, will take place under NWA Maximum rules, meaning there will be no rules. It will be a night of anarchy featuring all the top stars of the NWA, with every NWA World Title being defended. Matches for this show will be announced below as and when they are confirmed. Adrian Neville vs "New Jersey's Own" Jay Lethal
NWA World Tag Team Title Match
The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) vs The Pistols ("Unbreakable" Michael Elgin and "The FN Machine" Brian Cage)
NWA North American Title Match
John Cena vs Chris Masters
NWA World Womens Title Match
Heidi Lovelace vs Sara Del Ray
NWA Memphis Southern Heavyweight Championship
Brock Lesner Vs Kofi Kingston
NWA Memphis Southern Tag Team Championships
The Outsiders Vs Hype Train
NWA Ohio Valley Grudge Match
Jamin Olivencia vs CM Punk
NWA Maximum Grudge Match
Samoa Joe vs Low-Ki
(Ideally I'd like to see 1-2 showcase matches from every NWA promoter on this show in addition to the title matches, but this is entirely optional. If/when you have a match you want adding to the card, drop me a PM to confirm the match just in case I don't pick up on it, then I'll add it to the show. To let you know in advance, I will want match writeups in no later than July 25th at midnight, if you know you are not going to be able to write your matches by this date then let me know in advance) |

Also, if someone could make an NWA Summerslam logo and add it to the top of the thread, I'd very much appreciate it (I have no skill for that sort of thing).

Well, I have some ideas of matches I could send for this match. I'll be building up some grudges to help fit the no rules atmosphere and utilize them to their best.

Should be interesting. Several of the title pictures are still pretty wide open to the point as of now, I don't even know if there's a viable contender to The Young Bucks anywhere, even a storyline in place. Several seem to be in the pipeline though where if kept strong, could produce results. Could end up a lot of matches so hopefully promoters get the latter end of 1-2 matches through the challengers or champions in title matches.

Just thought I would post the reminder of this conversation with several new people having arrived: nwafantasyalliance.proboards.com/thread/3027/league-challengers-voting-title-matchesOr in other words: AJ Styles can't defend the World Title against somebody from Lonestar unless a last resort Young Bucks can't defend the Tag Team Title against somebody from Lonestar unless a last resort Neville can't defend the Junior Title against somebody from Windy City unless a last resort Heidi Lovelace can't defend the Women's Title against somebody from Ohio Valley unless a last resort John Cena can't defend the North American Title against somebody from Windy City unless a last resort I can see instances where that will not be the case and matches will happen of promotion vs promotion, but it's purpose was more to push interpromotional stuff as a priority if possible, so just fair warning ahead of time. Specifically Lonestar as I'd imagine Dustin might have been otherwise unaware of that. |

Just wanted to add that once my iPPV is out on Friday, I will be sending around PM's to arrange matches for Summerslam as well as decide contenders for the title matches. So far I've only heard from jp and Joe regarding matches for the event so I'd like to try and at least gain some kind of idea as to what other matches will be held on the show. Ideally I'd like the card to be finalised early in July, to give the maximum time to build to the event and make it something special.

Instead of pm's maybe work it out in this thread?
It was pointed out to me when I ran Uncensored that in hindsight this would be a better way to keep everyone in the loop rather than the PM way.

Personally I prefer the PM method, but if anybody would prefer to discuss their match ideas in this thread, then they are free to and I will comment on those ideas.

Either / or. I mean for me, it was pretty easy to just PM about it, but I also didn't have much to say. 1 match for my guys, and then a match with the Women's champion against a yet to be determined challenger, ideally not supplied by me as well. Might be a good idea for the titles I guess, but anything beyond that seems unnecessary. Seems like the World Title match is set, everything else I have absolutely no idea about any plans, figured people would be working on that through PM though.
