So again just quick results here, this show is mainly to setup for the big match next week that will decide what is happening with the World Heavyweight Title match at Summerslam. I will get back to writing full show soon but I just haven't had the time or focus to do so lately.
NWA Maximum: Maximum Impact 26/06/2015
The NWA World Heavyweight Champion "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles makes his way out to the ring to begin our show, looking furious. Last week his title belt was stolen by Personal Demons.
Styles: "Personal Demons, Jeff Hardy, you have something that belong to me, the NWA World Heavyweight Title belt. You stole that title belt from me and its plain to see why you did it, because you want to blackmail me into putting the title on the line against you. Well I'm not going to do it, I'm not giving in to you and your games. Every day that you carry around that stolen title you tarnish its legacy, why in the hell would I put the title on the line and risk you taking it permanently, the damage you would do as champion would undo all the work that me, Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels and all the other great champions of this alliance have put in to making that belt mean something special. What I am going to do however it take my property back from you by force and continue to raise its prestige, and go down as the greatest NWA World Champion in history!"
Personal Demons appears on the titantron with the NWA World Heavyweight Title around his shoulder.
Demons: "Such an impassioned speech AJ, its almost as if you have a personality beyond indy spot monkey number 2000, who would have thought it? You can talk all you want about taking this belt back AJ but as long as I hold on to this you are powerless, a champion in name and name alone. Let me ask you a question champ: why are you so scared to put your title on the line against me? Don't you think you can win?"
Styles: "I know I can win Jeff, but that doesn't mean I'm going to take the risk of this belt falling into the wrong hands if you decide to play the numbers game with your buddy The Reject. I think the question that needs to be answered here AJ is why are you so scared to fight me in a non-title match?"
Demons: "I'm not scared to fight you non-title AJ, but whats the point of that? What benefit do I gain from fighting you in a non-title match? None whatsoever. And much as I don't care for any of these fans they miss out on an NWA World Title match at one of the biggest PPV's of the year. I knew this would be your reaction though, even minus your belt you aren't any less determined to do things your way, so that's why I've come up with a compromise if you are up for the challenge? I will give you your title belt back next week, but only if next week you compete in a special ladder match against an opponent of my choice. Above the ring will be our contract for the match at Summerslam. If you win this match, then you will get your wish and we will fight non-title, but if you lose then you will be forced to put your World Heavyweight Title on the line against me. What do you say champ?"
Styles: "OK Jeff, I'll fight your mystery opponent, because I know that no matter who you throw at me and no matter what kind of bullshit you try, I'm going to win. I will get my belt back and I will defeat you!"
Demons: "Big words champ, but I should probably warn you that it isn't any old ordinary opponent that you are going to face. In fact the man you are fighting is a former World Heavyweight Champion himself, a man who is a close personal friend of mine and has helped me in my quests versus Chris Jericho and Matt Hardy. That man is....BROCK LESNAR!"
The titantron cuts off as AJ Styles doesn't know what to make of this development. He will be facing an opponent next week in Brock Lesnar who will be possibly one of the biggest challenges he has faced in his entire career. But with victories over bigger opponents like Samoa Joe and Abyss for example in his past he is completely capable of defying the odds, so will he be able to do so against "The Baddest Man on the Planet?" Or will AJ be forced to put his belt on the line at Summerslam and risk the NWA falling into the hands of Personal Demons?
Devon Storm def Danny Demanto in a pretty one sided win for Storm, his first in NWA Maximum, hitting the Eye of the Storm for 3.
Brian Cage w/The Pistols def Bandido Jr in a basic showcase match for Cage, who pinned his opponent after Weapon X
Paul London def Sonjay Dutt in another great matchup and performance for London, as he hat the London Calling to win in a little under 5 minutes.
Randy Orton makes his way to the ring, his TV Title in hand and accompanied to the ring by his lawyer David Otunga, plus two security guards. Orton takes the mic.
Orton: "Karl Anderson, last week you crossed the line, you tried to permanently cripple me in my own home. I intend to sue you for every penny you've got, as my lawyer will tell you. "
David Otunga now takes the mic.
Otunga: "Mr Anderson, you are guilty of assault on multiple counts of my client Mr Randall Keith Orton, of breaking and entering his home to carry out said assault, and causing physical and mental trauma. You will be punished to the full extend of the law, and I have also put in place an immediate restraining order so that you can cause my client no further harm."
Before Randy Orton can continue, Karl Anderson heads out onto the ramp with a mic in hands as well as a piece of paper.
Anderson: "You might have your little legal man there Randy Orton and your court order, but you are forgetting one thing, that this is NWA Maximum. There are no rules here and we don't do things by the legal book, that's why I have this piece of paper signed by Steve Blackman himself. It says and I quote "When any member of the NWA Maximum roster is inside the NWA Maximum arena, they are bound by the rules of the promotion and the National Wrestling Alliance". In other words Randy, so long as you stand in that ring or in this building you are fair game. So how about we settle this right now!"
Anderson heads for the ring as Orton realises there is little he can do to stop Anderson from continuing his pursuit. He gets in the ring AND THE TWO BODYGUARDS ATTACK! They start stomping away on Anderson as Orton and Otunga leave as fast as they can. The guards try a whip into the ropes and Double Clothesline, but Anderson ducks underneath and takes out both with his own Double Clothesline. He grabs the first guard, GUN STUN! He then grabs the second guard and point at Orton who is backing up the ramp quickly with Otunga. GUN STUN! Orton rushes backstage and gets into his car, driving off as Anderson laughs to himself and poses for the fans. It looks like Randy Orton will soon have to give Karl Anderson that final match to settle the score once and for all!
Dean Ambrose came out and issued an open challenge to "any New Jersey loser" to face him for his Heavyweight Title. The challenge was answered by Ace Darling, and the two had a fun match with Darling getting a few close near fall on the champ. But Ambrose would win it with the Dirty Deeds to retain his belt.
Jay Lethal w/Samoa Joe def Homicide w/Low-Ki via pinfall after a Diving Elbow Drop. Low-Ki had attempted to stop Lethal from hitting the move, but Joe attacked and the two started brawling on the outside while lethal finished the match off. An intense 4 way brawl broke out that had to once again be broken up as the rivalry between these two teams intensifies further.
In our main event, Azrieal and Dan Maff def Johnny Gargano and Chuck Taylor in a wild tag team match when Pinkie Sanchez made his return to New Jersey, running in and attacking Gargano and Taylor with a chair before hitting Taylor with a Burning Snicklefritz, as Azrieal pins him for the 3 count. They attempt a 3 on 2 beatdown on Taylor and Gargano post match, but Kyle Matthews runs in for the save as a 6 man tag team match is signed for next week.
