But before any of that, the all too familiar beginnings of 'Ironman' by Black Sabbath kick off the show ...
Rob Conway speaks
2015 has seen a revitalized Ironman. Wins far outnumber the losses, a win in the Nightmare Rumble, and a win over both Marcus Anthony and Melvin Maximus last weekend.
Rob Conway: Thank you. No, I mean it. Thank each and every last 1 of you! It's because of all of you that I am where I am. I walked into OVW for the first time 18 years ago, and it's been a long journey of up's and down's. When 2015 began, I set out to do 1 thing and 1 thing only. I wanted to compete for the NWA World Heavyweight championship. I had a goal and I think everybody watching can agree that I've done everything I can to get there. But the time for talk is over. October 25, NWA Fall Brawl. Right here from Louisville, Kentucky, and I want it to be known right now, that I-
Before he can continue, music cuts him off that the fans instantly recognize. Jamin Olivencia! Somebody else that has been close to the World Title, having even competed for it a month and a half ago. He gets in the ring with a mic as they shake hands.
Jamin Olivencia: Look Rob, I'm not here to run down anything you've done. Nightmare Rumble, that was big man. Last week, you pinned Melvin Maximus, something nobody else in the back can stake a claim to having done. I think we can all agree that you deserve a chance at becoming the World champion. You do. But so do I. If hadn't have been for Jeff Jarrett back in Bowling Green, I'm 100% confident I would have the belt with me right now! You beat Melvin Maximus ... I beat CM Punk at Summerslam. Both big wins. And not to say what would've happened, but Nightmare Rumble, we all saw what happened. I got blasted with a guitar before I even got in the ring!
Rob Conway: I don't know what you're trying to get at here, but yeah. Ok. You've done some big things this year too. And you can bet that when I win that title, you'll be first in line for a shot. You won't have to beg and plead with me. I'll give you the opportunity that you deserve Jamin. But maybe beating Styles back in Bowling Green, maybe winning the Nightmare Rumble ... that's a lot of maybe's. I did win the Nightmare Rumble and I will beat AJ Styles!
Jamin Olivencia: Ha, yeah, sooooo we could do that. I step aside, you go for it. But, here's the thing. I, like you, am not a very patient man. I've waited a long, long time to get to this spot. The way I see it, Jamin Olivencia plays second fiddle to nobody! So it's me, and it's you. We both want that shot, we both deserve that shot. Before anybody, whether me or you, get a shot at Fall Brawl, how about me and you at the next Saturday Night Special?! If you're the best Rob, prove it against me in this ring.
Conway looks to the fans, giving a "yes! yes! yes!" chant. Conway looks back to Olivencia and seems reluctant, but maybe the fans get to him as he nods, shaking hands. The match is set as fans cheer. Conway vs Olivencia on September 5 at the next SNS. But before that, unexpected visitors here. Deonta Davis, Leon Shelly, The No Class Connection!?
Leon Shelly: Ok, ok, ok. I get it. You know, if this is about guys around here not getting an opportunity, what about us? The 2 of us have been looked over, week in, week out, ever since we got here! You 2 might have your sights on the Saturday Night Special, but what you say that tonight, the 2 of you step up and take on The No Class Connection? If you got the guts of course.
Rob Conway: I don't even know who the 2 of you are! The No Class ... Connection? Is that it? Ok. I can't recall ever seeing a match of yours, and that means I damn sure don't recall you 2 jokers winning any matches. But if you want your 15 minutes, yeah. I'll give it to you. I know a thing or 2 about tag team wrestling. There used to be a team called Lords of The Ring around here. Maybe you heard of them. Rob Conway, Nick Dinsmore. No Nick tonight, but uh, yeah. Multi time former OVW champion Jamin Olivencia, what do you say?
Jamin Olivencia: I say, let's do it!
And with that, not only is the SNS match official, but a tag team match also official for tonight. Olivencia vs Conway, but before that, they team up.

Match #1
Women's Title match
Mary Elizabeth Monroe (c) vs Crazy Mary Dobson
Women's champion Mary Elizabeth Monroe defeats Crazy Mary Dobson to retain the title @ 6:28 via tap out to The Rainbow Cross. Following up on her win over Taeler Hendrix at the Saturday Night Special, Monroe defends against the craziest woman in OVW. Dobson teases bringing the hardcore element into play as she lifts up the apron and takes out a trash can, but Monroe instead hits a sliding kick under the bottom rope to take her out. Moments later, Monroe had her tapping to the modified STF. Can anybody in OVW stop her or The Rainbow Cross?
Just then from the back came Hendrix & Seleziya Sparx. Hendrix slid in and tried to jump Monroe, but would get handled. Hendrix goes for the roundhouse kick, but Monroe ducks and spins Hendrix into The Rainbow Cross! Sparx though hits her from behind. She bends Monroe over and lifts her up, hitting the spinning powerbomb. Hendrix is up and yells for a mic before standing over the champion.
Taeler Hendrix: "I might be out of chances, but I know somebody who's not! Meet the woman that will beat you for that title and bring it back to The A List, Seleziya Sparx!"
And just like that, it seems Monroe may have finally met her match. The devastating Seleziya Sparx, possibly the next OVW Women's champion.

Ringside interview w/ James Thomas
Terry Boddie is joined by Moose. Boddie mentions the absence as Thomas says that he had a personal battle outside the ring he had to take care of. A battle bigger than anything that Ali Vaez and The Blacklist could understand. And that's why when he saw what happened with his good friend Mike Hayes, it inspired him to come back here and fight his fight. Vaez and The Blacklist didn't take out a good man because Hayes will be back. But he can't guarantee that there will be anything left of Vaez by the time Hayes does come back. This is personal.
Match #2
Ram Jam vs Mario Bokara
Mario Bokara defeats Ram Jam @ 0:36 via tap out to a standing inverted Fujiwara armbar. Out of nowhere comes 1 of the most impressive debuts in recent memory here in Ohio Valley. Bokara, billed as hailing from Croatia, absolutely destroys Jon Ramser. It takes mere seconds to take him down and transition to the submission hold. Ramser furiously taps out. Bokara might be a force to be reckoned with here in OVW.

Match #3
Chase Owens vs Corey Hollis
Chase Owens defeats Corey Hollis @ 5:49 via pinfall after The Roaring Elbow. After taking out the other half of Country Jacked at the Saturday Night Special, Owens looked to finish the job here tonight. The 2 went at it full throttle here with barely a moment of rest to spare. Owens gets several near falls with moves like the S.T.Owens and the second rope moonsault. Hollis gets in a Shining Wizard and a near tap with the Satellite Crossface. In the end though, it's Owens ducking an Enziguiri and spinning, connecting with the discus elbow when Hollis turns back to him. Another win for Owens as the commentators wonder if now maybe thanks to the Jeremiah Plunkett injury, he can finally turn his focus to becoming the next World Junior Heavyweight champion?

Ringside interview w/ Jeremiah Plunkett
Terry Boddie is joined by the now injured former East leader. Plunkett says that he hates to disappoint all his fans with this tragic injury. The chants of "Plunkett sucks" quickly change his tune as he says he's actually glad he's injured because it means not having to perform like a trained monkey for a bunch of southern morons, something Chase Owens clearly has no issue with. Neither member of Country Jacked could get the job done, but he knows somebody that can and they will be coming sooner than later to finish Owens for good.
Match #4
Jamin Olivencia & Rob Conway vs The No Class Connection
Jamin Olivencia & Rob Conway defeat The No Class Connection @ 5:07 when Olivencia pinned Deonta Davis after the Standing O. While Olivencia & Conway may have went in with the odds in their favor to dominate their winless opponents, The Connection actually got in some offense, maybe showing that a turn around is in store for them. No disagreements present between Olivencia & Conway despite their upcoming match, although post match Conway seemed to indicate that he could have finished off Davis too if given the chance.

Match #5
#1 Contenders Battle Royal
Filling up the ring are 20 names. The Body Guy, Dylan Bostic, Cliff Compton, Jade Dawson, Eddie Diamond, Bud Dwight, Jake Glasure, Ryan Howe, Shiloh Jonze, Raul Lamotta, Eric Locker, The Mexicutioner, Stuart Miles, Adam Page, Paredyse, Adam Revolver, Rump Thump, Randy Terrez, Ali Vaez, and Robbie Walker. Only 1 can challenge Elijah Burke. But first an update on Chris Silvio. He has been AWOL since the SNS, and combined with his last championship defense being over 30 days ago, the TV Title has been declared vacant! More on that in the weeks to come.
Order of elimination:
1 - Ali Vaez by Paredyse, with assistance from James Thomas distracting Vaez and then chasing him to the back.
2 - Jade Dawson by Ryan Howe
3 - Raul Lamotta by The Mexicutioner
4 - Adam Page by Dylan Bostic
5 - Bud Dwight by Jake Glasure
6 - Stuart Miles by Eddie Diamond
7 - Eddie Diamond by Jake Glasure
8 - Rump Thump by Eric Locker
9 - Randy Terrez by Cliff Compton
10 - Jake Glasure by The Mexicutioner
11 - The Mexicutioner by The Body Guy, with assistance from Big Jon
12 - Adam Revolver by Dylan Bostic
13 - Shiloh Jonze by Ryan Howe
14 - Ryan Howe by Eric Locker
15 - Dylan Bostic by The Body Guy, with assistance from Big Jon
16 - Eric Locker by Paredyse
17 - Robbie Walker by Cliff Compton
The 3 remaining see Compton & The Body Guy work together on Paredyse. With Big Jon at ringside, it is basically a 3 on 1. Big Jon attempts at 1 point to pull Paredyse out. Body Guy joins in, but in the process Paredyse headscissors him over the top rope and to the floor to eliminate him. Compton quickly tries to capitalize, but Paredyse fights him back. 1 of these 2 wrestlers will fight The Pope for the title! Paredyse starts getting the better of Compton, until Mr. 1859 reverses an Irish whip. He charges into the corner but Paredyse reverses leapfrogs with his hands on the ropes and hooks a headscissors on ... keister to the kisser! Compton takes the move and finally shoves Paredyse over the top, but he lands on the apron. Compton charges with a clothesline, but Paredyse ducks. Compton turns and takes a kick to the face. Paredyse runs to the corner and heads up top. Compton is dazed and turns to a diving cross body block! Compton catches him! He carries him back first to the ropes where both fall over the top and to the floor, but Compton grabs the top rope and his feet don't hit the floor! Compton wins!
Cliff Compton wins the battle royal @ 9:45, last eliminating Paredyse.
With that win, it will be Cliff Compton challenging Elijah Burke for the OVW Title on September 5 at the next Saturday Night Special. Add that to the already announced Jamin Olivencia vs Rob Conway match and the card is shaping up big in the early going. Join us next week for more OVW action. For Dean Hill, Gilbert Corsey saying so long until then.
Websclusive match #1
Tessa Blanchard defeats Deonna Purrazzo @ 5:13 via pinfall after a slingshot back suplex. Following up on her debut win at the SNS over Mandy Leon, Blanchard picks up another win here today. Beating Leon and Purrazzo are 1 thing though, and beating former OVW Women's champion Jessie Belle will be something else entirely when the time comes for them to go 1 on 1.
Websclusive match #2
James Thomas defeats Elvis Pridemoore @ 4:50 via pinfall after the Moose Kick, a running boot. Moose's first singles match is a showcase for him against the white rapper with the red cap. While he came up short at the SNS in a 6 man tag team match, Thomas will look for revenge and to settle the score against Ali Vaez should they end up across the ring from each other.
