This title is available to any wrestler in the NCW. The NCW X Division Championship must be defended at least once a month on NCW programming against opponents appointed by The NCW Championship Committee. If a champion fails to defend the title or is deemed unworthy or unable to hold it, the title will be taken and a new champion will be appointed. The X Division Championship does not have to be defended at every event as the champion's status will help determine number one contendership for The NWA World Heavyweight Title.
