Alyson Hau - Welcome to JPP This Week for the week of August 1st. I'm your host Alyson Hauand my co-host this week is Hikaru Shida.

Hikaru Shida - Great to be here again Alyson. Keiko was supposed to be here this week but she was feeling under the weather this morning and went to see the doctor. Hope you feel better Keiko.

Alyson Hau - We are coming off the greatest women's wrestling show I've ever seen. JPP's Summer Supershow was jam packed with the best wrestlers and the best matches our sport can offer. Let's have a look at what happened.

A five minute highlight package plays showing clips from all the matches. highlighting the tag title change, the implosion of the Punk Rockers and Nattie Neidhart's rumble win.

Hikaru Shida - It was amazing to be there for the show and to play my very small part. I only wish I could have been in action, but that will happen soon enough.

Alyson Hau - The atmosphere was unlike anything I've experienced; beyond a music festival or awards show. A lot of the talk on the internet about the show centers around one event, the implosion of the Punk Rockers. Everyone is wondering why Natsuki*Taiyo attacked Chii Tomiya after their succesful Sky High Tag Team title defence. I managed to get a short interview with Natsuki when she came backstage afterwards.

Alyson Hau - Natsuki... Natsuki!.... Why did you attack your own partner, your friend?
Natsuki*Taiyo - I'll give you two reasons why. One (middle finger up) She went soft on me after she won that money in Macau. Two (holds up another middle finger) she's been hanging around with losers like Ramu and Riho and that disco dork Miyako

Hikaru Shida - Chii has always been a cool girl. Like all of us, her tastes and outlook on life have changed as she's grown up.

Alyson Hau - So true. Change is an integral part of growing up. Just like we change as we grow up, so do companies. JPP made some changes on the weekend. management made the decision to make some personel changes and released Hiren, Toshie Uematsu and Fang Tiaorong. With their departures, three new faces were brought into the fold: young kickboxing phenom Yuhi, local girl Lisa Cheng and the unknown factor Taya Valkyrie.

Hikaru Shida - There has also been big change for two valuable members of our staff. On saturday, our doctor Takeshi Misawa and our nurse Yumi Tokiwa flew off to Las Vegas to get married. Some of us even watched the ceremony online.

Alyson Hau - I'm so happy for both of them. I'd love to visit Las Vegas sometime myself.

Alyson Hau - Welcome to JPP This Week for the week of Aug. 8th. Joining me as co-host again this week is Hikaru Shida and I'm your host Alyson Hau.

Hikaru Shida - Great to be back here. I'd love to keep doing this even after my shoulder is healed up and I'm back in action.

Alyson Hau - Action is what we saw last friday on the first episode of Athena Pro after our Summer Supershow. Three new members of the JPP family made their debuts last friday. Let's have a look at what went down.

Alyson Hau - What was that move that Lisa Cheng did to win the match? I've never seen anything like it before. What is it called?

Hikaru Shida - Lisa calls that movie The Eiger Sanction after an old movie about mountain climbing. Several luchadores in Mexico use it where it is called the Spanish Fly. Lisa may be the first girl to use it.

Alyson Hau - I don't know what would hurt more, that move from Lisa or some of those kicks that Yuji landed on Yuzuki Aikawa.

Hikaru Shida - Definately Yuhi's kicks. On saturday morning when Yuzuki came down for breakfast, she was limping and had a couple of nasty bruises on her legs

Earlier this week, Chii Tomiya and Ramu Endo went down to Sydney Australia to do some interviews to promote the debut of Athena Pro. They sent us a short video



Ramu Endo - Hello everyone! Ramu Endo here with Chii Tomiya. We got here to Sydney this afternoon and we've already done one interview on Fox Sports. Some of our new friends from Fox have brought us here to this great restaurant by the infamous Sydney Opera House. We have a few radio interviews to do tomorrow then we fly off to do some more business. We'll see you back in Hong Kong on friday. G'day mates!

Alyson Hau - They are so lucky to be down there. I spent some time in Sydney a few years ago and loved it. Maybe we could see JPP do a show there sometime.

Alyson Hau - Good afternoon everyone! Welcome to JPP This Week for the week of August 15th. I'm your host Alyson Hau and back in the co-host's seat is Keiko Mariko. Good to have you back Keiko.

Keiko Mariko - Great to be back doing something productive. I was on doctor ordered bed rest for a couple weeks. Everything is fine now and I'm back on my feet.

Alyson Hau - That's great to hear. Let's get down to business and have a look at what went down last friday on Athena Pro.

Keiko Mariko - When I was getting ready for today's show, I had a look through the JPP record book and found that Lisa Chen's victory last friday is the shortest match in JPP history by several minutes. She is developing quite the reputation for herself very quickly.

Alyson Hau - Lisa is an amazing athlete. Whatever she chooses to do she does until she is the best at it. I would have said it wouldn't be long until she won a title, but she did that in her debut match. I don't think many athletes can say they won a title in their first match, game or race. Speaking of Lisa, it's time for a word from our sponsors with a commercial starring Lisa.



Alyson Hau - Welcome back to JPP This Week. In the main event of last friday's Athena Pro, Kana was facing Tess LaCoyle. Kana was close to forcing Tess to submit when Gail Kim ran into the ring. But it wasn't Kana that Gail attacked, she attacked her own teammate Tess LaCoyle. That action unfortunately gave Tess the disqualification victory and enraged Kana. Why would Gail do that?

Keiko Mariko - My husband, who manages JPP's social media, mentioned that there has been hundreds of Facebook posts and tweets asking why or speculating why Gail attacked Tess. In my opinion, the answer is quite simple. It had nothing to do with Tess, it could have been anyone. Gail Kim wanted to make sure that Kana didn't win. Task accomplished. I don't like how she did it, but it worked.

Alyson Hau - I'm sure Kana will have a response to Gail's action, good or bad, this friday when they meet in the main event. here's how friday's card is shaping up.

Alyson Hau - That looks like another great Athena Pro. On August 31st, JPP will present our very first outdoor show. JPP has teamed up with South China Athletic Association to present Red Cross Night at the SCAA Stadium on Caroline Hill. Tickets for the show will only be $25 or $15 for students. All the proceeds from ticket sales, souvenirs and concessions will be donated to the Hong Kong Red Cross. The main event for that show will be a match for the NWA Women's World Title as Gail Kim defends against Queen of Legends winner Nattie Neidhart.

Keiko Mariko - My favorite part of being back here on JPP This Week is getting to come up with Keiko's Kwiz. Last week's question was "What Sydneysider took part in the Queen of Legends Series and what Sydneysider starred as Wolverine in the X-Men movies?" The answers were Madison Eagles and Hugh Jackman. This week's question is about our friends at SCAA. How many first division football league titles have SCAA won and how many Senior Challenge Shields have they won? First correct answers on our Facebook page wins two tickets to this friday's Athena Pro.

Alyson Hau - Good afternoon everyone and welcome to JPP This Week for the week of August 22. I'm your host Alyson Hau and my co-host this week is the glowing Keiko Mariko.

Keiko Mariko - That's a compliment I can accept. Good afternoon everyone. We have a great show for you today. let's kick it off with a look at what happpened last friday on Athena Pro.

A video package of last friday's Athena Pro plays. The Smash Girls beat the Shirai Sisters. Ramu Endo pinned Hiroyo Matsumoto. Apple Miyuki and Cherry beat Miyako Matsumoto and Yuzuki Aikawa. Chii Tomiya, Lisa Cheng and Riho beat Natsuki*Taiyo and the Martinez Sisters in what turned out to be a handicap match. Victoria pinned Tomoka Nakagawa in non-title action. In the main event, Ayumi Kurihara and Kana capitalized on Tess LaCoyle attacking Gail Kim to regain the Tag Team Titles.

Alyson Hau - Tess got her revenge for Gail attacking her the previous week and cost Gail and Lin Bairon the tag titles. But what really intrigued me was the Martinez sisters taking a break during their match to eat cupcakes. I recognize the box they came in, those are the best cupcakes in Hong Kong. They must have fans who really like them. I also wonder if they know that those cupcakes are far from fat free or sugar free.

Keiko Mariko - From what the other girls have been saying, someone has been sending them cupcakes at every tv and house show for the past few weeks. I wish I had a fan like that, I could eat a whole box all by myself.

Alyson Hau - I'm sure you..... ummm let's take a break for a word from our sponsors

We had several fans with the correct answers of 40 first division titles and 30 Senior Shields. This week's quiz is about the recently completed Summer Olympics in London. Alyson Hau - Cherry has been quite dominant as the junior champion. The Martinez sisters received more cupcakes from their unknown fan but didn't get to enjoy them. Those matches that Commissioner Konno could be very interesting. Do you know who will be facing Basara?

Keiko Mariko - There are so many girls it could be. There's lots of veterans and newcomers who would love to come to JPP. Most of the girls have a different idea about who it could be. It could be a veteran like Mayumi Ozaki or a newcomer like Yoko Bito. We'll all find out when Basara finds out on friday night.

Alyson Hau - While we all think about who Basara's opponent will be, let's take a break with a word from a sponsor.



Alyson Hau - As we announced on last week's show, several of JPP's stars appeared at Ocean Park on monday. It was a great day for everyone involved. The fans loved getting closer to their favorite wrestlers and the girls got to thank our fans. Chii Tomiya was absolutely soaked after riding on the raging River with various fans for over an hour. Lisa Cheng was more brave to ride in the front seat of the Hair Raiser rollercoaster with fans several times. Nothing seems to bother her.

Keiko Mariko - She'll have another new experience this friday when she takes part in her first battle royal. Here's what friday's card looks like.

Keiko Mariko - You know what time it is now? It's time for Keiko's Kwiz. Last week's quiz was "How many world records were set during the London Olympics and who was Hong Kong's only medal winner?" Alyson Hau - Good afternoon everyone and welcome to JPP This Week for the first week of September. Back in the co-host seat again is Keiko Mariko.

Keiko Mariko - And what a week it was. After last friday's special Red Cross show at SCAA Stadium our Facebook page exploded with comments. Twitter was also flooded with comments like setup, double cross, masked woman. Let's have a look at what everyone is buzzing about.

Io Shirai winning the battle royal, Basara losing her JPP contract and Sakura Candle winning hers, Christina Von Eerie injuring Victoria's knee but unable to win the JPP Singles Title, the Martinez sisters' fans showing up and distracting them with cupcakes again, Hiroyo Matsumoto's faction getting the win over the Kimono Dears, and the NWA Women's World Title match with multiple interference leading to Nattie Neidhart getting the win.

Alyson Hau - WOW! What a show! It looks like everyone involved had some plan in place to make sure she won the title. Only Nattie Neidhart's plan worked out. Do you know who that masked woman was? Is she a friend of Nattie?

Keiko Mariko - I've known Nattie for a few years. She has never needed or asked for someone's help to win any match and last friday wouldn't be the first time. I have no idea who she could be or why she interfered. Maybe she has a gripe with Gail Kim that we don't know about. Hopefully we'll get some answers this friday.

Alyson Hau - The JPP Singles Title may be in question after last friday. Victoria needed help getting out of the ring. My sources tell me that she couldn't even walk the next morning and had to be wheeled through the airport in a wheelchair. We haven't been able to get any update on her condition yet. After all that, let's take a break with a word from a sponsor.



Alyson Hau - That looks like a very interesting movie. Did you ever run away to see a boy when you were young?

Keiko Mariko - I tried once when I was 6 or 7. But I never got to his home because I couldn't cross a street unless my mom or dad helb my hand. I ended up playing in the park for an hour. Back to wrestling, let's have a look at what's scheduled for this friday's Athena Pro.

Keiko Mariko - She's been working out and going through extensive physical therapy to get back into ring shape. We'll see how it's all worked out when she gets in the ring on friday.

Alyson Hau - The main event could be very interesting, friends who are both champions fighting to become the #1 contender for the JPP Singles Title.

Keiko Mariko - It's that time again! Time for Keiko's Kwiz. last week's questions were "Sean Penn starred in Fast Times at what school? Grease took place at which high school?" lots of movie fans knew that the answers were Ridgemont High and Rydell High. This week's question is about our new NWA Women's World Champion. Nattie Neidhart is related to two other wrestlers in the NWA. Who are they?

Keiko Mariko - Always great to be here Alyson. Last friday's episode of Athena Pro provided us with some interesting fallout from the recent NWA Women's World Title match. Let's have a look at what went down.

Alyson Hau - Hmmmm We still have no idea who the masked woman was and now we have a new mystery. How did Kana and Ayumi find out about Gail Kim's plans? Did someone leak the information? Or is there a spy in Gail Kim's camp?

Keiko Mariko - Sometimes, when you need some information, you have to be a bit sneeky. Kana and Ayumi are both smart girls, I'm sure they know how to get info if they want it. The part of their counterplan is how they're playing the mind games now.

Alyson Hau - That wasn't the only big happening last friday. Cherry pinned Arisa Nakajima to become the #1 contender to, what is now called, the JPP Openweight Title. Cherry will get her title match against Victoria on Sept 21st. We'll be right back after this word from our sponsors.



Keiko Mariko - I'm sure everyone has noticed that the Martinez sisters have two fans who have been sending or giving them cupcakes at every show for the past month or so. Earlier this week, I went to the little shop that bakes those delicious cupcakes to find out anything about those girls. I was talking to the girl at the counter and asked if she knew who the girls were. As we were talking, the two girls walked in. When they saw me, they turned and ran. By the time I got outside, they were long gone. The mystery remains, who are the cupcake girls?

Keiko Mariko - It's time again for Keiko's Kwiz. Last week's question was "Nattie Neidhart is related to two other wrestlers in the NWA. Who are they?" A few people knew the answer was Harry Smith and Teddy Hart, Nattie's cousins. This week's question is about another popular competitor. Everyone knows that Riho is the youngest member of the JPP roster. This week's Keiko's Kwiz is, who is the youngest winner of a Best Actor or Best Actress award at the Hong Kong Film Awards?
