Triple Threat Match
Charlie Haas vs James Storm vs Mason Andrews
This was a solid debut for both Andrews and Storm, both looking very good in this one, while Haas also impressed as he always did, showing the skills that made him a former NWA UK Heavyweight Champion. The match was largely wrestled on the mat, yet they kept a good pace to it to, it never got dull at any point and got the crowd into the show. The finish saw Haas go for a German Suplex, only to get tossed to the outside by Storm, then Storm caught Andrews going for a Cross Body. He got him into position and dropped him with the Eight Second Ride, which was enough to keep him on the canvas for a 3 count.
Winner- James Storm
Tryout Series
The Jung Dragons (Jimmy Yang and Kaz Hayashi) vs 3 Count (Shane Helms and Shannon Moore)
Helms and Moore are not currently signed, and this was a great opportunity for them to face a team that they know all too well from the past in The Jung Dragons. Helms and Moore gave their all and looked very good in this one, going toe to toe with the former Hybrid Pro Tag Team Champions in a match that was very fast paced and wowed the fans. It was not to be their night however, as following a Yang Time by Yang on Moore The Jung Dragons were victorious.
Winners- The Jung Dragons
The United Nations (Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, Wade Barrett, Paul Burchill and Harry Smith) vs The Group (Damien Sandow, John Morrison, Michael Shane, Harris Rotunda and Bo Rotunda)
A really heated ten man tag team match here between two faction who do not like each other one bit after all we saw happen on the Special 2 weeks ago. A few notable matchups seemed to be the real focus of the match, with Sheamus and Morrison fighting for much of it, The Rotundas battling with Barrett and McIntyre and Burchill and Smith with Sandow and Shane. As the match broke down into a fight, the key moment in the match saw Bo Rotunda accidentally hit his tag team partner and brother Harris with a Spear, before taking a Brogue Kick from Sheamus. Sheamus covered Bo and that was enough to secure himself the victory.
Winners- The United Nations
The Untied Nations briefly celebrated as The Group recovered, and Sandow did not look at all happy with Bo, and gets on the microphone. He however talks about a different subject.
Sandow: Now for the uneducated masses in the audience this evening, allow me to explain what is about to happen. With time, every group needs to evolve in order to not just survive, but to thrive, and The Group is no different. That is why I have taken the bold decision to sign a new professional wrestler to my faction. He is a man of unquestionable talent, who has been ignored by the National Wrestling Alliance for too long. Indeed he is a man capable of dominating any promotion he performs in. Uneducated fools, let me welcome the newest member of The Group, James Storm!
Storm makes his way to the ring, and as much as The Group are not the most popular faction in the NWA, nobody can deny that this signing is a very good one, Storm is a top drawer athelete. He shakes hands with Sandow and the rest, though notably ignores Bo Rotunda.
Sandow: However for every evolution we make, we need to cast off something of our old selves, otherwise we become too bloated and we lose our focus. That is why it is time for us to remove some deadweight to make room for my new signing, and tonight's match has made my choice ridiculously simple. Gentlemen, if you will.
The entire Group surrounds Bo Rotunda, and I think anyone with a pulse knows whats about to happen. Before it can though, Harris runs in front of him and begs the others to reconsider, not wanting to see his brother hurt. They stop and back off briefly, as Harris offers his brother a hug. They hug, AND HARRIS KICKS HIM IN THE BALLS! He doesn't let him drop to the canvas, instead holding him in position and kissing his forehead, before dropping him with a Reverse STO! The rest of The Group applaud as Harris has a crazed look of delight on his face from what he just did to his own brother, I can't believe he would do something like that to his own family! The Group pose and celebrate, raising Harris's hand as Bo lies knocked out on the canvas.
Newgen (Pinkie Sanchez, Rich Swann, Kota Ibushi and Kyle Matthews) w/Mason Andrews vs The Antichrists (Cibernetico, Shinsuke Nakamura, Jeff Hardy and La Sombra)
This was as chaotic a match as we expected, utter anarchy at times as these two teams picked up right from where they left off at the end of the special a few weeks ago with a major brawl. The referee struggled to keep control of this, as Matthews pushed as hard as he could to get his hands on Cibernetico and Nakamura, but had to contend with Hardy and Sombra for most of this. Newgen did have one significant advantage though, that being Mason Andrews at ringside, with his involvement The Antichrists for the most part had to taste some of their own medicine with the numbers game. Things however were to take a dramatic twist that was way bigger than any of us could have possibly imagined. As the match began to break down again, a masked man leapt out of the crowd, and smashed Andrews in the back of the head with a black bag of some kind, completely knocking him out. He gets in the ring and does the exact same thing to Matthews, and the ref calls for the bell.
Winners- Newgen by DQ
The referee pays the price for calling for the bell by taking the bag to the face, knocking him out. The Antichrists are laying a beating on the rest of Newgen and utterly destroying them as this masked man unzips the bag, to reveal THE EAST COAST HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE, IT CAN'T BE! The masked man unzips his masks and takes off. ITS JON MOXLEY, JON MOXLEY HAS JOINED THE ANTICHRISTS! The East Coast Heavyweight Champion has stunned the world by joining, and there is absolutely no denying that he is exactly the sort of wrestler who would join this deplorable faction.
Shinsuke Nakamura grabs the trash can from ringside, the trash can that contains Cibernetico's Hybrid Pro Heavyweight Title, as Cibernetico gets the microphone.
Cibernetico: You see Newgen, I'm always one step ahead. While you go and hire some indy reject to join your group of never will be's, The Antichrists have hired a man of amazing talent, a man who brings The Antichrists so very much knowledge and power, which we can use to help bring about the downfall of this very industry. And now he is about to help us complete another stage of our plan, that being the disvaluing of another organisations championship belt. Jon, if you'd like to do the honours.
Moxley holds up the East Coast Heavyweight belt, spits on it, and TOSSES IT IN THE GARBAGE! Nakamura lifts up and holds the trashcan as it its some kind of holy relic as the fans are beginning to reach near riot levels of angry at this point.
Cibernetico: And this my friends is only the beginning, my digital era becomes closer and closer to a reality every single day. We now have a presence in 3 promotions, we've made Hybrid Pro our little base of operations, we dominate all that oppose us in LXX to the extent they had to suspend us from their little Rumble match, and now we control the title belt of one of the most powerful organisations in the entire NWA. Before you know it, this entire dinosaur of an alliance will die out, and the Digital Era will begin!
The Antichrists raise their hands as the lights go out and they are basked in a huge green spotlight, as the fans boo and the show comes to an end.
