The show opens with "The Voice of East Coast" Joey Styles along with his broadcast partner "Lord" William Regal. We're two weeks away from Declaration of War! But tonight we've got a great show with the main event having iPPV implications as Jon Moxley and the Rockstars of Wrestling face off against SJK and the Briscoes! But first our opening contest...
SINGLES MATCH
El Generico def. BLK JEEZ
El Generico def. BLK JEEZ
These two high flyers come from very different backgrounds, BLK JEEZ came out in street clothes while Generico came out in his traditional lucha gear. The opening had a lot of holds but quickly became a speed battle with BLK JEEZ snapping off head scissor takedowns over and over until Generico countered with a sloppy but brutal looking powerbomb! JEEZ tried to pull himself up in the corner and ended up taking a huge mafia kick from Generico who followed up with a double pumphandle orange crush bomb, for a long two count! BLK JEEZ came fighting back hitting a running kick to the face/chest of a seated Generico trying to take his head off before coming off the second turnbuckle with a twisting leg drop for a two count. Generico was able to throw his shoulder off the mat and keep himself in the match, BLK JEEZ tried to go for the top rope double stomp but Generico was able to roll out of the way and after some jocking for position he was able to snap off the BRAINBUSTAAA! getting the three count victory!
NWA President Dustin Smith is in the ring after the break with a microphone in hand.
Dustin Smith: Last week I had business to attend to, and after I left Austin Aries and World champion CM Punk had a bit of an arguement. I just want to go on record and say that win or lose Austin Aries will stay with in the NWA. He's a very talented young man and I won't let him put his job on the line like that. But if Aries doesn't win at Declaration of War, then as long as CM Punk holds the title he will never get a title shot!
TAG TEAM MATCH
The N.W.A. (M-Dogg 20 & Jack Evans) def. The DDR(Shockwave & BxB Hulk)
The N.W.A. (M-Dogg 20 & Jack Evans) def. The DDR(Shockwave & BxB Hulk)
The New Wrestling Attitude team of M-Dogg 20 and Jack Evans are two incredibly talented high flyers who haven't really gained any traction in singles careers but have formed up to hopefully make a better stab at the tag team division. They've become a bit jaded and didn't take kindly to the dancing and theatrics of the DDR. The N.W.A. were very innovative with their offense using the ropes to springboard a lot. Shockwave and Hulk put on a great fight but speed kills and M-Dogg 20 and Jack Evans have a firm control over speed using it to perfection with Evans nailing a 630 senton on Hulk for the win as M-Dogg 20 nailed a space man plancha to the outside sandwiching Shockwave against the security rail.
SINGLES MATCH
AJ Lee def. Eve Torres
AJ Lee def. Eve Torres
It's hard to consider it but Eve was playing the power game in this match, using basic holds but cranking down on them to put AJ in a lot of pain as the smaller AJ looked to be in a lot of trouble. Eve wrestled a sound game keeping control of AJ for a lot of match, but eventually AJ was able to throw some leg kicks and forearms breaking out of a tight arm wrench from Eve coming up with a huge dropkick! The crowd got behind AJ who tried to go to the top rope, but Eve was able to crotch her and tried to superplex AJ! Lee was able to fight off Eve sending her crashing to the mat before coming off the top with a huge splash for a two count! AJ looked shocked as Eve was able to roll her shoulder off the mat, but AJ wasn't going to let it stop her momentum as she snapped off the shining wizard finally putting Eve away!
The current NWA East Coast X division champion, Paul London comes to the ring smiling as he decided to address his match at Declaration of War.
Paul London: Sami, sami, SAMI, sAMI... Sami the fact that you're in the double title match at Declaration of War is a joke. You haven't beaten anyone of note and suddenly you're in a match with the two best Jr's in the NWA today? Sami I've seen the pictures of you when you started and there was nothing junior about you big boy...
The reminder of Callihan's weight issue draws the challenger out for a fight as both London and Callihan brawl in the ring. This brings out the NWA World Junior champion, Johnny Gargano! Gargano isn't a guy who's afraid to mix it up in a fight and all three men are fighting in the middle of the ring! The crowd is mixed as out of no where, "The Embassy's favorite son" Brandon Bonham makes his presence known as he comes down to the ring on a scissor lift?!?! All three men in the ring are to busy fighting as Bonham raises the bucket he's standing in and as everyone in the ring realizes what's going on it's to late as Bonham comes crashing down on everyone in the ring with a Bonton bomb from off the scissor lift!
Joey Styles: OH MY GOD!
The "Holy Shit" chants rain down as the ring looks like the after math of a car wreck! Prince Nana steps out from behind the curtain with UHAA Nation.
Prince Nana: If Callihan can put himself into the double title match, than so can Bonham!
This draws out the NWA President Dustin Smith.
Dustin Smith: Last week I allowed Callihan to join the double title match, which may have been a lapse in my judgement. This isn't going to be a huge fray of everyone trying to get into the title match. So I'm going to pull Callihan from the match! I'm going to make a number one contenders match at Declaration of War, between Callihan and Bonham with the winner getting a shot at the winner of the double title match at our next iPPV, Last Man Standing!
SINGLES MATCH
"The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson def. MASADA
"The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson def. MASADA
Danielson looked to be in a bit of pain still from his crazy bout with Spanky in Great Lakes, and has been on the losing end of a few matches in a row, and tonight he had to face off against a deathmatch machine in MASADA who is a very capable grappler. MASADA used a smash mouth, fight approach in the beginning of this match targetting the injuries inflicted by Spanky. Even going as far as jamming his thumb into the injuried ribs of Dragon during a abdominal stretch, before out of desperation Danielson took MASADA over with a huge hip toss, diving on his opponent peppering him with elbows to the head trying to keep in close but MASADA was able to scurry away and head to the outside to save himself from too much damage. Dragon tried for a suicide dive through the ropes but MASADA hung him out to dry ribs first across the security rail, on the outside it was a playground for MASADA who continued to target the ribs of AmDrag stomping away before hitting a low variation of the Yakuza kick, kicking Danielson in the ribs hard! MASADA rolled an injuried Danielson in the ring and tried applying a border city stretch but AmDrag was able to get his foot on the ropes saving himself as he eventually started to fight back, blocking shots from MASADA and scoring with strikes of his own! "YOU'RE GONNA GET YOUR FUCKIN' HEAD KICKED IN!" chants started as Danielson went wild with kicks that put immediate welts all over the body of MASADA who was absolutely rocked with the barrage from Danielson! One swift kick to the temple of MASADA sent him to the mat like a sack of stones as Danielson went for a mount dropping MMA style elbows, busting MASADA open over his eye as the ref had to call the match!
After the match MASADA was outraged that the ref called the match and nearly killed the poor ref with a brutal regalplex. Before spitting on Danielson and demanding a free fight at Declaration of War, a match that's more on par with MASADA's deathmatch style. Danielson excepts as he walks up the ramp.
TAG TEAM MATCH
The Batiri(Kodama & Obariyon) w/ Steve Corino def. The Young Buck$ (Matt & Nick Jackson)
The Batiri(Kodama & Obariyon) w/ Steve Corino def. The Young Buck$ (Matt & Nick Jackson)
The Batiri look a lot more focused since "The King of Old School" Steve Corino has taken them under his wing. The Young Buck$ looked so impressive in this match trying to make it to the top tier of the tag team world for a shot at the Rockstars of Wrestling. The Batiri tried throwing some kicks and things to keep in the match but were failing as Corino barked out orders from ringside in disgust, but convienently Kodama caught the ref with a kick to the head that put him out, as Corino hopped into the ring spiking Matt Jackson with a vicious backdrop driver as Obariyon spewed green mist into the eyes of Nick Jackson sending him to the outside as he tried to wipe the poison from his eyes. Corino slid out of the ring waking the ref so he could make the three count to give the Batiri the win.
SINGLES MATCH
"The Greatest Man that ever Lived" Austin Aries def. "The Scumbag Outlaw" Danny Havoc
"The Greatest Man that ever Lived" Austin Aries def. "The Scumbag Outlaw" Danny Havoc
CM Punk joins Joey Styles and William Regal on commentary for this match, somehow Punk has convinced the Scumbag Outlaw to do his dirty work tonight against Austin Aries who has come back to East Coast rising to the top tier quickly. Havoc was as always rude to fans stealing a few chairs from the crowd throwing them into the ring. This wasn't a free fight but Havoc always treats it like it is. Austin Aries tried to wrestle with Havoc but the Scumbag Outlaw would thumb the eyes of Aries and stomp on his feet, anything really to just punish Austin and keep the fight in his realm. Punk would just verbally berate Aries talking him down as anything more than a joke contender. Havoc tried to blast Aries with a chair but the ref would yank it out of Havoc's hands the confusion gave Aries the opportunity to plant Havoc headfirst onto another chair with a brainbuster giving the greatest man that ever lived the victory!
Aries didn't have a chance to celebrate as Punk slid into the ring slapping on the anaconda vice, forcing Aries to tap out but Punk would continue to wrench on the hold as the psychotic Havoc would spit and shoot snot rockets on Aries as he slowly passed out from the pain of the vice. Punk would sit in the ring smirking as the show went to a break. When the show returned it recapped the brutal assault by Punk.
SIX MAN TAG MATCH
Jon Moxley & The Rockstars of Wrestling(Jimmy Rave & Jason Hades) w/ Lena Yada def. Sterling James Keenan & The Briscoes (Mark & Jay Briscoe)
Jon Moxley & The Rockstars of Wrestling(Jimmy Rave & Jason Hades) w/ Lena Yada def. Sterling James Keenan & The Briscoes (Mark & Jay Briscoe)
It was a battle between contenders and champions in a taste of what we'll see at Declaration of War! Moxley wasn't happy at all with being teamed with the uber arrogant Rockstars of Wrestling. The Rockstars were able to cut the ring off trapping Sterling James Keenan in their corner allowing for Moxley to occassionally get a free shot on his opponent at the iPPV. SJK was able to break free from the Rockstars tagging both Briscoes who turned the tide of the match with Mark using his redneck kung fu while Jay blistered with jabs on both Rockstars! Jay and SJK were able to take Moxley and Hades out of the ring leaving Mark to hit the crab walk senton on Rave for a long two count! Rave rolled out of the ring helping Hades and Moxley fight on the outside but Mark followed by hitting a frog splash to the outside wiping out everyone! The match broke down at that point and the ref had no chance of restoring order! Moxley with the help of Rave was able to tie up SJK in the ropes and Moxley nailed him with a huge Boma Ye rocking his iPPV opponent! Blood trickled out of the mouth of SJK as he took another Boma Ye as he was still trapped in the ropes! The Briscoes tried to save SJK but the Rockstars would keep them from saving SJK! The ref took a boma ye to save SJK from what would have been the third and potentially career ending Boma Ye to the skull of SJK as the match was called due to knock out as security and ring crew members rushed to pull SJK to safety as Moxley smirked in the ring getting a microphone.
Jon Moxley: This is what I do to people who try to take what I have, I hurt people that try to take things that belong to me. I took the NWA East Coast title from Rhino, and I threw the belt right where it belongs and that's in the trash. Keenan tonight I knocked you out and you're lucky that someone stepped in because I could have taken away your career just like that. You're new here and you've come into this promotion with a lot of hype, but that's all you are is hype. I'm taking over the world, I've already taken over NWA East Coast and it's just a matter of time before I take over the entire NWA. Keenan if that ref didn't step in the way tonight you'd be stretchered out of here, you better hope to god that someone saves you at Declaration of War because I will show no mercy, I'm going to put you in your place.
