Oh My God! Welcome to another edition of NWA East Coast, and tonight we've got an action packed card! NWA Fall Brawl is at the end of the month, but tonight we've got a match featuring El Generico and Brandon Bonham with the winner getting a shot at the NWA World Junior title at Fall Brawl! Also the Briscoes who have a shot at the World Tag Team titles at Fall Brawl will face the white hot team of Gangnam Style tonight! But first...
The NWA East Coast champion, Jon Moxley interupts the intro from Joey Styles as he climbs into the ring followed by Sami Callihan and Sterling James Keenan.
Jon Moxley: Last week I made a deal was made, NWA President Dustin Smith came to me, he was upset that the NWA East Coast title is still festering at the bottom of a trash can. He was upset that I've disrespected the championship through my entire reign. So he cut a deal with the devil himself, me! I'm vacating the NWA East Coast championship for a shot at the NWA World Heavyweight title at Fall Brawl! I'm gladly going to take the championship, Rio your a joke! You're such a disappointment you can't even live up to your fathers name that's why you dropped the mask Dos Caras Jr! You're playboy life style is a farce, you're living off the money that your father earned with blood, sweat and tears! You're a spoiled brat, your reign is going to end quickly when I take what belongs to me, because I'm taking over the world! So if your smart, you should get out of my way!
This match featured two exciting young talents who put on a great opening contest to get the fans pumped. Zack Sabre Jr tried a couple times for the Sabre Driver but could never get it as Lethal was able to nail the Lethal Injection for the win. Winner: Jay Lethal
Austin Aries comes to the ring looking ready for war.
Austin Aries: I agreed to a match stipulation awhile back that ended up with me not getting a shot at Punk as long as he was NWA World Champion, WELL it looks like Punk isn't the champion anymore and now I want to make his life even more miserable than it already is, so tonight I want a match with Punk! If Dustin doesn't wanna give me that match I will hunt down Punk and make it even worse!
This brings out NWA President, Dustin Smith who doesn't look happy.
Dustin Smith: Fine, you want a match with Punk tonight? You got it! Tonight I'm going to make things interesting. We already have Chris Hero vs. Jon Moxley why not make it a little more interesting by making the main event Austin Aries and Chris Hero versus Jon Moxley and CM Punk!
Chance had to constantly look over his shoulder as he went one on one with Keenan. Keenan came into the promotion as a seeming hero but was quickly corrupted. Chance tried his best to get the win in this match but Callihan's taunting and constant climbing onto the apron made sure that Prophet couldn't get completely rolling as SJK was eventually able to hit the MK Ultra for the victory. Winner: Sterling James Keenan
These two teams are young and hungry but haven't really made many waves towards a championship contension. Tonight SoCal Speed would show that they want a shot at the Rockstars of Wrestling as they controlled the tempo of the match capping it off with a 450 splash from TJ Perkins. Winner: SoCal Speed
Both of these men were making their debuts here tonight and didn't hold anything back. Although Richards was an absolute animal throwing vicious kicks and using his Strong Style to put Iron through hell. Gregory had flashes of offense but Richards was ruthless in his attack, until a hard kick to Iron's bad arm would send him to the canvas screaming in pain. Richards would try to check on Iron but it was a trap as Iron would roll up Richards for a quick three count. Winner: Gregory Iron
Richards was stunned that he got tricked, as he looked pissed rolling out of the ring and cussing himself as Greg Iron got on the mic.
Greg Iron: Don't cheer for me, I don't want your pity applause. Just like with Davey he took me lightly, he thought my CP was a handicap but he was sadly mistaken. If you think I'm weak in anyway you'll find out the same. I'm not someone who's easily beaten and I plan on becoming the future NWA World Junior champion!
The boys from Sandy Fork, Delaware weren't impressed by the dance moves and antics of Gangnam Style. The match saw Gangnam Style more than hold their own as they faced off against the team that would face the Rockstars of Wrestling at Fall Brawl. Knowing that if they could come away with a win tonight they'd surely get a shot at the tag team titles instead. Shockwave almost got the win with the static shock leg drop but wasn't able to get the job done and the brothers came together to hit a doomsday device on him instead giving the Briscoes another victory on their way to the titles. Winner: The Briscoes
London looked to have lost a step since losing the East Coast X title, and Danielson is so talented that he was able to take advantage of every misstep. London still came off arrogant everytime that he got the best of Danielson but ended up infuriating the American Dragon who ended up throwing MMA elbows destroying London to the point that the ref had to call for the bell! Winner: Bryan Danielson
One of these two men would go on and face Johnny Gargano for the NWA World Junior/NWA East Coast X titles. Prince Nana tried directing traffic from the outside with Bonham not listening as he did his things his way against the fan favorite El Generico. The ref eventually got bumped and UHAA Nation got involved with a chair wanting to take Generico's head off, but Bonham stepped in the way and eventually spin kicked the chair into the face of UHAA Nation! Prince Nana was beside himself as the ref finally came around and after that the match continued for a few moments with Generico hitting the brainbuster for the victory! Winner: El Generico
After the match Generico would pay back the favor by pulling Bonham out of harms way as the awakened beast UHAA Nation came around wanting to kill Bonham for his betrayal!
There was so much bad blood in this match as Punk and Moxley were finally getting what they've been running from, a fight against Aries and Hero respectively. The ref had a very hard time keeping order and things really got scary as Punk's crew of Eli Cottonwood and Steven Richards came to ringside along with Moxley's pals in Callihan and Keenan making the match look more of a lumberjack match. Aries kept his eyes on ringside as Hero used his rage and skill to take the fight to the two former champions of NWA East Coast. The members of ringside eventually sensing their leaders were in trouble swarmed the ring like hornets as Aries and Hero would throw everying at the horde sending bodies crashing to the outside but eventually Punk would throw a roundhouse kick to Hero putting him on his ass as Moxley followed up with a Boma Ye! Aries tried to keep fighting the impossible odds but ended up getting pinned in the corner as Punk got a microphone smirking arrogantly even though it's taking three men to hold Aries down.
CM Punk: If you think for one second that losing the NWA World Heavyweight championship has made me any less dangerous then you're sadly mistaken! I am the best in the world and if you're trying to make a name for yourself at my expense then you're in for a serious reality check because no one and I mean NO ONE uses CM Punk as a stepping stone!
