Tommy Dreamer came out to start the show and wished everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a joyous New Year! He said tonight would be the beginning of a tournament featuring 8 tag teams in CPW, and thus 16 men.

It was to a single elimination tournament, with the first round being held tonight, and the remaining matches would be held tomorrow afternoon.

Also tonight, two former NWA World Champions would face off for a shot at the CPW Television Championship tomorrow night!

Right about then Matt Hardy came out and said that he had a challenge to issue to the Perfectionists. He said that he had listened to all the talk in the back about how Scott Steiner had beaten him down, and then 'kidnapped him'. It is true, Scott Steiner is one hell os a 'Son of a Bitch' and a worthless peace of crap! Scott did things to him that would make ANY man cry like a baby, but not Matt Hardy! He said he survived the torture! He survived the pain! He is a better man for it! He said that tonight, Scott Steiner would be in his corner as he and his partner took the CPW Tag Team Titles!

Dolph Ziggler and Joe Hennig came out and said Hardy is full of hot air and other 'stuff'. They accepted the challenge, then said it would be their HONOR to show the wrestling world why Hardy was not a 'Could have been', but a "never was"!

What a long read... lol but seriously there was a lot of nicely booked matches. The main event would be awesome although I'm not a fan of Steiner.

Yes a fun little show here, would love to see Styles/Jericho, that'd be an amazing match.
