NWA Entertainment Raw 12/01/12[/u]
Welcome to this weeks edition of Raw, and tonight is a huge night, as we have chaos in the tag division, chaos between The Revolution and The Family that stretches far beyond the walls of NWA Entertainment, and we have a new Raw Heavyweight Champion in Damien Sandow, who defends against Christian right here tonight!
Tyson Kidd vs Sheamus "Fella
The debuting Kidd had a baptism of fire here, having to take on the massive "Fella" who is fresh off a loss in the final of the Raw Heavyweight Title Tournament. Kidd did manage to keep up with him, using his wrestling skill to keep Sheamus on the mat, but that only works for so long against a massive man like him, and he soon fought back with power and strikes. He shouted out that "its fella time", before delivering the Brogue Kick to get the 3 count.
Winner- Sheamus
The Revolution (Kyle O'Reilly and Richie Steamboat) w/"The Kentucky Gentleman" Chuck Taylor vs The Family (Bray Wyatt and "The Outlaw" Luke Gallows)
Richie Steamboat became the newest member of The Revolution after he rescued O'Reilly, Taylor and Appetite for Destruction from The Family and The Unholy Trinity at NWA South Beach's Winter Wasteland. And things were heated here as Wyatt was not in a good mood, he isolated Steamboat early and used that massive size and power of his to dominate, with Gallows adding to the misery with his own power. That was until Steamboat escaped and made the hot tag to O'Reilly, who cleaned house on Wyatt and Sandow with big kicks. O'Reilly then got Gallows in the Anklelock, until JBL leapt out of the crowd and distracted O'Reilly. This allowed Gallows to recover and hit the Twelth Step to win the match.
Winners- The Family
Taylor started beating on JBL on the outside, until the rest of The Unholy Trinity came out and attacked The Revolution in a vicious 5 on 3 assault. However, Appetite For Destruction leapt out of the crowd and made the save, running off the Family/Unholy Trinity coalition. Next week, we will see Kevin Steen team with Chuck Taylor to take on Christopher Daniels and Bray Wyatt in a tag team match, with all other member of their respective factions at ringside!
Raw Heavyweight Title Match
"The Intellectual Saviour of the Masses" Damien Sandow vs "Captain Charisma" Christian
Christian certainly provided a different kind of challenge for Sandow than he has faced so far on Raw, as unlike some of his other opponents Christian has the mat wrestling skill to not just keep up with Sandow, but better him. As a result, Sandow had to play this one a bit smarter, twisting the rules to his advantage when he could, which was difficult to do against such an experienced performer. Christian kept himself in it though, and were it not for a rope break, Christian would have won the match with the Killswitch. Sandow snuck in a low blow which the ref didn't see, and he followed it with the Terminus to retain his title.
Winner- Damien Sandow
NWA World Junior Heavyweight Title Match
"The Whole Shebang" Johnny Gargano vs "The Future" Chris Sabin
Gargano made another title defence here against a very solid wrestler in Sabin, who despite his awesome wrestling skill has never really reached his full potential as a singles wrestler yet despite numerous opportunities. He was more than a match for Gargano however, proving himself in a big way by taking the fight to the champ and matching him hold for hold, as well as in the air. it ended up coming down to who wanted it more, which proved to be Gargano in this case, as he hit the Hurts Donut to retain his title.
Winner- Johnny Gargano
Post match Gargano shook Sabin's hand and raised his arm, and left as Sabin recovered in the ring. Then however the lights went out, and the voice of Cibernetico was heard.
Cibernetico: NWA, I warned you last week that they were coming, the ones who understand my tortured soul, the ones who will poison you all and will dominate the NWA. We are TOXIC!
The lights come back on and Cibernetico is in the ring along with TOXIC. They utterly destroy Sabin in a 7 on 1 destruction, he doesn't stand a chance. Its all finished off when Moxley drops Sabin with the Moxicity. These guys are scary, and I don't think anyone on Raw can match them at the moment, what will they do now they are here?
NWA World Tag Team Title Match
The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe) vs LAX ("The Notorious 187" Homicide and "Supermex" Hernandez)
What a chaotic main event tag match, as these two teams utterly destroyed each other. The Briscoes took every risk they could, flying through the air and taking the fight to LAX. Hernandez had that power however, and was able to drop both Briscoes with ease, even if they didn't stay down for long. Homicide was The Briscoes target for much of this, being the smaller man, but even then it was difficult to match him in a fight, with things soon breaking down into anarchy. These four ended up brawling all around ringside, leading to the referee calling for a double disqualification.
Winners- Double DQ
The Briscoes and LAX continue to brawl post match, showing no regard for the rules, until officials run from the back to split them up. Even then its a struggle, as they keep breaking free, as wrestlers come out to help break this thing up. The show ends with both teams still trying to get each other, and a tag war is definitely breaking out here.
