Just quick results here barring a few promos, as with Smackdown and Raw barely receiving any kind of feedback I didn't really feel up to doing my usual level of detail. Lacking a bit of motivation tbh, so may have to change things up a bit again.
NWA Entertainment Smackdown 16/01/12[/u]
Welcome to Smackdown. Tonight we have a huge tag team main event, as The Hybrid Athletes, Kyle Matthews and Jack Swagger, take on Drew McIntyre and Sean Waltman. Also tonight, Brock Lesnar faces Randy Orton 1 on 1, Johnny Gargano defend the World Junior Heavyweight Title against Tyler Black, plus much more.
At the beginning of the show, it was announced that the new commissioner of Smackdown will be Kevin Nash!
R-Truth def "The Party Starter" Curt Hawkins following the Little Jimmy.
Cibernetico made his way out to the ring in darkness, save for a green spotlight. He had this to say.
Cibernetico: You may be wondering why I'm here on Smackdown? Well, the truth is, I've had a change of plan. You see, TOXIC aren't what they are cracked up to be, they lack a born leader and they have no idea how to utilise my power. Thats why I have decided to poison the NWA my own way by forming my own group. You could call us degenerates, a flock, a revolution or whatever you want, but in the end we will poison the NWA.
Who will join Cibernetico's poisonous group?
"The Technical Messiah" Alex Shelley def "The Master of the Dark Hadou" Kenny Omega following the Shell Shock in a great little match between two great technicians.
Oscar Rubio (aka Rey Mysterio) def "The Canadian Bulldog" Harry Smith to end his losing streak when Cibernetico ran in and dropped Smith with a Garra Cibernetica, then threatened the referee to stop him calling for the bell. The ref reluctantly counted 3, and Rubio revealed that he was the 1st member of Cibernetico's "Poison". Uhaa Nation made the save, and challenged the duo to a tag team match next week on Smackdown!
"The Viper" Randy Orton and "The War Machine" Brock Lesnar fought to a no contest when they began to brawl around ringside, and the referee couldn't get things back under control. Officials eventually ran out to break things up.
"The Whole Shebang" Johnny Gargano def Tyler Black in an awesome match to retain his World Junior Heavyweight Title following the Hurts Donut
Kyle Matthews cut the following promo backstage before the main event.
Matthews: "I'd love to talk about tonight, but what is there to say, other than I've beaten both the guys I'm wrestling once, and I'll beat them again without even breaking a sweat. Instead, allow me to direct my comments towards one Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio, your time is up, and you still haven't answered my challenge, so now its time to take things into my own hands. Very soon Del Rio I'm going to be making a sudden impact on you and your title reign, you won't see it coming, and before you know it the most hybrid athlete in the NWA will be the most hybrid NWA World Heavyweight Champion of all time!
The Hybrid Athletes ("The All American American" Jack Swagger and "The Most Hybrid Athlete in the NWA" Kyle Matthews) def "The Chosen One" Drew McIntyre and Sean Waltman when Waltman accidentally spin kicked McIntyre in the face, allowing Matthews to drop him with a Slurpee Kick and pin him.
Afterwards McIntyre and Waltman argued, with McIntyre saying that Waltman did it on purpose and Waltman denying it. The two decided to make it up with a handshake, however out came Smackdown commissioner Kevin Nash. He said that next week Sean Waltman and Drew McIntyre would wrestle one on one, with the winner challenging Kyle Matthews for the Smackdown Heavyweight Title!
