NWA ATTITUDE PRESENTS
"MONDAY NIGHT WAR"
LOCATION: The Wolstein Center, Cleveland, OH
BROADCAST TEAM: Jim Ross & Mick Foley
EVENT DATE: January 28, 2013
Derrick Bateman was able to overcome the onslaught of "The Kentucky Crippler" BJ Whitmer in a vicious battle, using underhanded tactics and a hand full of tights to get the pinfall victory. Bateman looked relieved in the end, but not so much so once Whitmer began to enact his revenge. Whitmer attacked Bateman from behind, dumping him with a sickening Regal-Plex, which looked like it could have broken Bateman's neck, before locking on his deadly Peruvian Necktie chokehold.
Whitmer gets on the mic after the assault and says that he won't be tolerating the foul play that's running far too rampant in this shit territory, and win or lose, he is going to make sure he not only comes out on top... but that everyone remembers the name BJ Whitmer!
Our new commentator Jim Ross had this to say, "BJ Whitmer looks about as mean as a junkyard dog in there, and it's obvious he ain't takin' no crap from nobody!" Mick Foley, the new play-by-play man, added, "Whitmer has all of the training and physicality it takes to go far in this business, and he's been working hard for years honing his craft. Derrick Bateman took the low road and got the small victory tonight, but Whitmer is trying to start a war, maybe trying to save the integrity of the sport, and I support it."
Sheik Abdul Bashir & Trent Barreta worked well as a team tonight, as Barreta fell in line with the vicious nature of Bashir, letting him take the lead in their conquest to defeat Jimmy Yang & Kenny Omega, however, Yang and Omega had other plans. Omega would save Yang from falling prey to the Desert Storm from Bashir, yanking him off of the Sheik's shoulders and catching Bashir with a mighty Hadouken palm thrust to the chest to send him out of the ring. Barreta would leap from the ropes and try to execute a Swinging DDT, but Omega stopped him short and turned it into a Northern Lights Suplex, rolling through and then blasting Barreta to the face with a brutal knee to the face as he was in the seated position, which was enough to earn Omega the three count and his team the victory!
"The Black Suplex Machine" Tyson Tarver is an imposing force, but he met a very stiff challenge in a man called Ryback on this particular evening. Ryback would come in hard with shoulder thrusts in the corner early and work over Tarver's shoulder throughout with clubbing blows and joint holds, keeping the fans enthralled with the intensity in which he attacked. Tarver would fight back and show his power, overtaking Ryback a number of times with belly-to-belly suplexes to switch the momentum. The two would trade blows back and forth at about the ten minute point, each man having dealt the other a physical toll that was causing both to show wear and tear. In the end, Tarver would deliver a big Spinning Back Fist to wobble Ryback, before grabbing him into a Sambo Suplex and locking on a tight Arm Triangle Choke, a sort of Anaconda Vice, if you will. Ryback fought with all he had, but the referee had to call it as his eyes rolled into the back of his head. Both men shook hands afterwards, knowing they'd left everything in the ring tonight and the fans appreciated the effort.
"The Iron Man" Rob Conway w/ Jillian Beyor & "The Russian Hooligan" Alex Koslov would have their hands full tonight dealing with two prospects from the OMEGA training academy in Joey Mercury w/ Jamie Keyes & "The Punk Rock Pariah" Shannon Moore. Koslov had attacked Mercury on the previous show after suffering a loss, choking him with the Russian flag, and Mercury was out for revenge in a big way. In the end, Koslov and Conway would out smart their opponents, as Conway tossed Koslov a pair of brass knuckles while the referee as distracted by Beyor on the apron, allowing him to try and cave in Mercury's head with a mighty blow. Conway would then hold off Moore as Koslov locked on a Crossface. The referee would turn around and check Mercury, who was out cold, and call for the bell as the fans rained down boos in disgust of Conway and Koslov's antics.
"The Big Rig" Brodie Lee had stuck his nose into the business of "The American Psycho" Lance Archer last week, and this week these two decided to hold nothing back. They brawled all over the ring and ringside area, and right out onto the floor, causing the referee to have to throw this out as a double count out once he realized he could not regain control. Lee would manage to catch Archer a big Powerbomb onto a pile of chairs on the outside before security could completely break up the melee.
"The King of Controversy" Teddy Hart w/ Jenna Morasca has lived up to his name in his antics of late, trying to cripple Spanky in a spiteful grudge. Delirious took offense to his actions and did something about it, running him off last week, and now the two were set to do battle. Delirious would take the match to the mat in his unorthodox, yet highly skilled and effective fashion, making Hart really have to work. Hart, though, showed his own acumen, though after some eye poking and underhanded tactics, not to mention some show boating and jaw jacking with the fans, Hart was able to hit some of the flashier moves he is more known for and tried to get into the head of Delirious, which is a scary thought, to be honest. Delirious, though, would manage to escape from the impending Hart Destroyer that Teddy was trying to utilize to end the match, using an all out assault of blistering chops and kicks to unsettle him, before delivering his neck crushing and innovative Chemical Imbalance II to hold Hart's shoulders down for the pin fall!
Morasca would slide into the ring and get into Delirious' face, bad mouthing him with every expletive in the book, before Hart could regain composure and kick Delirious from behind in the nether regions! Jim Ross was going crazy on "THAT DAMN TEDDY HART! BAW GAWD! IT'S THE HART DESTROYER!" and that it was. Teddy flipped Delirious upside down and right on top of his head with his devastating finisher, once again getting the last word, but wait... Mick Foley points out, "From the crowd... oh, from the Heavens... it's Spanky!" And then Jim chimes in again, "SPANKY! SPANKY IN THE RING, AND HART'S LOOKING LIKE A SCALDED DOG NOW!" Spanky had dove into the ring with a springboard clothesline, then began wailing on Hart with relentless right hands. Hart had escaped, but Morasca was still in the ring, and Spanky grabbed her... "SLICED BREAD! SLICED BREAD! SPANKY HITS THE SLICED BREAD!" Mick goes on to point out, "Spanky there, throwing out the conventions of our society and doling out his own brand of justice as he delivers his fabled Sliced Bread #2 on... Jim, what would you call her?"
"THAT DAMN JEZEBEL GOT WHAT WAS COMING TO HER!"
And that was that, as the fans cheered on Spanky as Hart left in an outrage.
"The Main Event" Mark Jindrak w/ Caylee Turner has no doubt been the franchise of NWA Attitude thus far, and for good reason. He always puts on a show the fans want to see, and his athleticism is second to none in the sport. However, there is a man who has taken great exception to Jindrak gaining all of the accolades, and that man is most vicious of all the locker room, "The Violator" Chris Dickinson. Dickinson ran out of the ring before the bell as Jindrak was making his entrance and started this fight early, actually tossing down Caylee Turner in a disgusting display and taking to kicking and punching the larger Jindrak as much as he could before Jindrak could land one of his rock solid left hands to send him back a ways. Dickinson would manage to catch Jindrak with a knee and then send him head first into the ring steps before rolling "The Main Event" into the ring to officially get the match going. Dickinson was vocal and violent, suppressing Jindrak with ground and pound techniques, and then attempting to lift him and suplex him, but Jindrak was resilient, as we've seen in his last two showings. Jindrak kept fighting back, landing big blows and dropkicks before executing a massive Powerslam to get a two count. Dickinson would try to escape to the outside, but Jindrak took the air, flying to the outside and smashing Dickinson! Dickinson would go and get himself disqualified, however, using the ring bell to smashing Jindrak over the head!
Jim Ross: "DAMN THAT DICKINSON! JINDRAK'S WEARING THE CRIMSON MASK! HE'S BLEEDIN' LIKE A STUCK HOG!"
Dickinson then grabs a steel chair and begins to bash Jindrak into the ringside floor, as officials and security try to pull him away, but he fights them all off. Dickinson then grabs a microphone.
"Is this your hero? HUH!? Go ahead, praise him now in all of his bullshit glory! I've shown you what he's made of! You all can bow now... bow to something greater than yourselves! I make no reservations about who I am... I am the DEVIL! I am pure fucking evil, and I am here to rip your safety nets away... take away your idols, show your heroes for who they really are... the weak, pathetic cowards they truly are... and show you that only the strong survive! I am here to violate your hopes and dreams, and leave them a husk of what they used to be, because the world is a cold, hateful place... and in this world, I am God!"
Mick Foley: "That... was about as blasphemous as it gets. Chris Dickinson is a sick individual, and I dare say he needs to be stopped, though I'm not sure who in the locker room has the testicular fortitude to do so."
Jim Ross: "Well that don't even hardly say it, Mick... the man is disgusting, a DAMN MENACE! Pure, unadulterated evil... I've never seen anything like it! Good Lord almighty, help us all!"
The camera does a close up on Dickinson's sadistic face as they carry off Jindrak, and the show comes to an end.
