Alyson Hau - Please welcome the NEW NWA Women’s World Champion…. KANA!!!!!!!
Kana walks to the ring, proudly wearing the title belt. She takes time to shake hands and hug every fan who wants to. She eventually makes it into the ring as the fans are still giving her a standing ovation. She holds up the belt and walks around the ring showing it off. Alyson Hau hands her the ring mic.
Kana - Thank you!… Thank you all so much!… I couldn’t have done this without all your support. Since JPP joined the NWA and came to Hong Kong, you have supported me in my quest to become the NWA Women’s World Champion… and together, WE DID IT!!!
Other than all of you, the greatest fans in the NWA, there are some people I need to thank who helped me get to where I am today. My first trainers Yumiko Hotta and Mariko Yoshida; Yoshida san is the head trainer here in JPP and she still gives me advice every day. I’d also like to thank JPP’s assistant trainer Mizuki Endo. Endo san has taught me that I can be as tough as possible but unless I make a connection with you great fans, I won’t go anywhere.
I also want to thank every girl who has stepped out of a locker room and into a ring with me or against me. You have all made me better and I know you’ll all say that I’ve made you better.
Last, but far from least, I want to thank Nattie Neidhart. Nattie held this belt with class and dignity and defended it with honour and respect against every challenger she faced and never backed down from a challenge. Nattie, you have set the bar very high for me and I intend to live up to the example you have set. Whenever and wherever you want your rematch, I’ll be there to face you again!
Before I continue, I need to ask someone a question. Alyson, could you look at your copy of tonight’s show format and tell me what’s supposed to happen next.
Alyson Hau - It says Kana video promo… Kana talks for 5 minutes… challengers come out to confront Kana… Is that what you needed to know?
Kana - Great thanks. I knew I forgot something. OK, whoever wants to be a challenger, this is your cue to come out and confront the champ…. Not so fast Gail Kim, knowing how brave you are, you probably rescued some mountain climbers from Mt Everest last weekend and got frostbite all over and can’t walk. So you really shouldn’t be challenging me just yet, should you… Now if there’s anyone else who thinks they deserve a shot, come on out.
First to come out is NWA Mexican Women’s Champion Dark Angel. Dark Angel climbs into the ring to a good pop from the crowd. Kana nods and claps as Dark Angel blows kisses to the crowd. Kana pretends to catch one of the kisses and blushes. Dark Angel walks over to Kana and taps the title belt that is resting on Kana’s shoulder then motions that it will be on her waist.
As they are about to shake hands, Ramu Endo comes out to cheers from the fans. She gets in the ring and heads right over to Kana and Dark Angel. Ramu also points at Kana’s belt then motions it will be on her waist also.
Kana - Just who I expected. You didn’t have to say anything, both your actions said exactly what you want. I’d love to face you both and I’m sure I will at some point. But, as you both know, Nattie Neidhart gets her rematch first then we’ll see who the NWA board decides on for my next challenger. However, seeing as we’re all free for the rest of the night, let’s grab some seats and watch the show.
Sakura Candle is already in the ring as the show comes back from a commercial.
Alyson Hau - This is a JPP trial match scheduled for one fall. Already in the ring, from the House of Wax, Sakura Candle! Her opponent tonight, from Aomori, Japan, she is Act Yasukawa!!
Yasukawa slowly comes down the aisle in a long coat and with a patch over her right eye. She slowly climbs into the ring and walks around before leaning back in a corner, she takes a bottle out of a coat pocket and takes a chug before returning the bottle and handing the coat to a ring attendant.
The ref calls for the bell and Sakura cautiously comes to the middle of the ring. Act wipes her mouth with her hand and slowly approaches Sakura. Sakura is talking animatedly about Act taking a drink. Act sprays Sakura with whatever she had drank. Act explodes with a series of forearm chops on Sakura followed by a dropkick. Act lands a somersault senton on Sakura and rolls back to her feet to pose. Looking very confident, Act climbs to the middle turnbuckle. She comes off with a somersault senton but Sakura gets her knees up in time.
Sakura gets to her feet and begins working on Act’s back. Sakura uses a variety of stretches and slams to weaken Act’s back. Sakura whips Act into the corner and catches her for a belly-t-belly suplex. As soon as Sakura lifts her, Act counters into a front sleeper. Sakura tries to free herself. Act pulls Sakura to the mat and puts her in a body scissors. Sakura struggles a bit before tapping out.
Act Yasukawa forced Sakura Candle to submit to the Tortuga Trap
Act Yasukawa gets her coat back, takes out the bottle and has a swig of whatever’s in the bottle. She looks over and Sakura is still on the mat. Act walks over and locks on the Tortuga Trap again. Sakura is tapping again until her arm goes limp. Act releases the hold and pulls off Sakura’s mask, revealing her as Yumi Ohka. Act puts on her coat and calmly walks away holding Yumi’s mask.
Evie and Yuhi come to the ring as the ‘Enter the Dragon Theme’ plays. They get into the ring and do some warm up stretches. ‘Dancing Queen’ plays as Hikaru and Miyako come dancing down the aisle. They hop into the ring and continue to dance. The ref calls for the bell and The Dancing Queens continue to dance. Evie and Yuhi watch them and even begin to clap. Miyako and Hikaru are doing some pirouettes… *WHAM* they are caught with superkicks from Evie and Yuhi. Evie and Yuhi cover Hikaru and Miyako. The ref makes a double count.
Team Kick Out pinned The Dancing Queens with superkicks
New Territories Tiara
Taya comes out, wearing the Chiefs jersey she wore at Year of the Snake. Natsuki runs down the aisle and bounces into the ring (she must be part kangaroo). Makoto comes to the ring for her first defence of the New Territories Tiara. The bell rings and they meet in the middle of the ring. Natsuki is noticeable shorter between Makoto and Taya.
Natsuki starts throwing leg kicks and both Taya and Makoto. Makoto backs away but Taya just lets Natsuki continue kicking. When Natsuki slows down, Taya catches her with a big boot to the face. Taya goes for a pin but Makoto pushes Taya off. Makoto tries for a pin but Taya lifts her off. The match continues swinging back and forth; Natsuki using her speed, Taya her strength and Makoto her agility.
Taya and Makoto have sent Natsuki out of the ring. Taya whips Makoto into the corner and follows her in with a clothesline. Taya grabs Makoto in a full nelson and lifts her. Taya begins swinging Makoto. Natsuki climbs back into the ring and is hit by Makoto, sending her back through the ropes. Taya lets Makoto go and she flies into the corner. Taya pulls her out of the corner and covers her for the three count.
Taya Valkyrie pinned Makoto with a full nelson swing to become the New Territories Tiara champion
Lin and Syuri come to the ring and wait quietly while testing the ropes. Gail and Hiroyo come to the ring accompanied by Shae Guevara. Gail has no casts, no braces or no bandages on; she must’ve seen a miracle worker. Gail stays behind Hiroyo during the pre-match. Gail steps out to the apron and Hiroyo will start the match against Syuri.
The bell rings and they lock up. Hiroyo easily shoves Syuri to the mat. Syuri gets back up and locks up again. Hiroyo easily shoves her off again. When Syuri gets back up, Hiroyo catches her with a roaring elbow. Hiroyo is posing as Syuri crawls to her corner and tags in Lin. Lin comes in full of energy and hits Hiroyo with a series of dropkicks. When Hiroyo gets up again, Lin drops down in the splits and hits Hiroyo with a throat thrust. Hiroyo stumbles back and tags in Gail.
Lin is grinning as she motions for Gail to come in. Gail slowly steps through the ropes. She steps from side to side as Lin tries to corner her. Gail takes a confident step and holds up her hands for a lockup. They lockup and Lin uses her height to get the advantage. Gail is smiling as Lin is slowly pushing her down. Syuri comes behind with a staff and hits Lin over the head. Lin collapses to the mat. Syuri explodes in anger and begins pummelling Lin with the staff, hitting her back, legs, and arms. Syuri places the staff across Lin’s throat and pulls back, with a calm look on her face. When Lin passes out, Syuri lets go. Syuri gets up and walks off with a blank look on her face.
Gail smiles, rolls Lin over and covers her. The ref reluctantly makes the three count.
Gail Kim pinned Lin Bairon
Syuri stops halfway up the aisle and looks back at the ring. A slight crooked smile appears on her face.
JPP Unified Tag Team Championship
As good of a team as Chii and Lisa have been, they just haven’t been able to figure out the Blossom twins. Chii and Lisa managed a few brief flurries of offence but Hannah and Holly controlled most of the action. The Blossoms finish the match with a double Blossom Bomb on Chii
Hannah Blossom pinned Chii Tomiya after a Blossom Bomb
