Post by Dustin Smith on Mar 3, 2013 9:47:58 GMT -7
The show opens from the Steel City, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. NWA President Dustin Smith is standing in the ring with a somber look on his face as he adjusts his tie before bring the mic to his lips.
Dustin: Last week's show ended in a horrific manner, to bring everyone up to speed, the main event was Jon Moxley going against El Generico. The match ended up not happening as TOXIC assaulted Generico...
...I think that when Bobby Fish came to the ring, he was doing so to help save Generico from further injury. We were very wrong...
Rami Sebei, otherwise known as El Generico, wasn't able to protect himself from the chairshot from Bobby Fish and had to be taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He suffered concussion, and when he's ready I will personally get him a flight back to his family so he can regain his health around his loved ones.
Due to contractual reasons I can't fire the son of a bitch who did this, but I can and will take him out of the 3 Rivers title match at Uncivil War! I hope that...
The NWA President is cut off as Bobby Fish skulks to the ring, climbing and getting nose to nose with the president as they exchange words. Smith doesn't back down from Fish clearly drivin on emotion as Fish finally looks to give up the argument turning to walk away. Dustin starts to lift the mic again to continue, but Fish would blindside the president with a jumping wheel kick that nearly takes Smith's head off as the NWA President drops to the mat like a rag doll!
Joey Styles: OH MY GOD! Bobby Fish nearly decapitated the president of the NWA! Good lord, he's not moving!
EMT's and staff members rush the ring, the EMTs ask people to step back as they try to get Smith to regain conciousness.
Joey Styles: Dustin isn't even a wrestler, Bobby Fish has a MMA background and is one of the toughest men in the NWA! Folks while the EMT's try to revive Dustin we're going to replay last weeks X title match between the debuting Chiva Kid and X division champion Austin Aries. Hopefully after the match we can give an update on Dustin's condition...
NWA IMPACT X TITLE MATCH REPLAY
Chiva Kid vs. Austin Aries(c)
Austin Aries was nearly rolling on the mat laughing as Chiva Kid made his Impact debut. The 5'8" 172lbs. challenger wearing a goat mask entered the ring getting in the face of Aries. Aries would pie face Chiva and look to ring announcer Tim Petty asking if this kid was for real. Chiva would take exception and come off the ropes with a disaster kick to the back of Aries head sending the X champion stumbling, Aries would tumble through the ropes to the floor stunned as Chiva Kid would come off the ropes hitting a tope suicida on Aries sending him into the security railing. The champ was in real trouble as he tried to make some seperation from Kid to get himself back on track. Aries would become vicious hitting Chiva with stiff chops lighting the challenger up Ric Flair style. Aries would score with the pendulum elbow for a near fall, looking a bit frustrated that Chiva kicked out. Austin would continue to dominate Kid before attempting the brainbuster but Chiva Kid was able to slide down the back of Aries and score with a Pele kick to the back of the champs head. Chiva looked to finish the match going up top but took to much time as he tried to hit a breath taking double moonsault, but Aries had rolled out of the way. Before Chiva could recover Aries was on him applying the last chancery forcing Chiva Kid to submit.
After the match we cut to Joey Styles and William Regal.
Joey Styles: During the replay, NWA President Dustin Smith was rushed to Allegheny General, he was able to regain conciousness but apartly had no idea of where he was. It's a horrifying situation that we will try to update you on as we find out more. Meanwhile Bobby Fish has been escorted out of the building.
SINGLES MATCH
Kyle O'Reilly vs. TaDarius Thomas
These two men were both making their debuts here in NWA Impact. O'Reilly is a former World Tag Team champion with fellow Impact star Adam Cole. TaDarius is as unorthodox as they come bringing the brazilian fighting style, capoeira into his arsenal. O'Reilly has a bit of a temper and Thomas's educated feet, were bringing him to a boiling point. Kyle was able to find an opening when Thomas flipped upside down trying to score with a kick but O'Reilly would make him crumple onto his shoulders with a vicious knee. O'Reilly would continue pressing the advantage as his former partner Adam Cole strolled down to the ring in his street clothes. Kyle would only glance over at Cole once before hitting a trio of butterfly suplexes that stunned Thomas long enough for O'reilly to apply the cloverleaf forcing Thomas to submit.
Kyle immediatly spun around after getting the victory, but Cole would only walk away as O'Reilly watched him leave, with his arm held up by the ref.[/i]
TAG TEAM MATCH
Pure Dynamite(Josh Daniels & John Walters) vs. TOXIC(Sterling James Keenan & Sami Callian)
Last week TOXIC ended up losing there match agaisnt Alex Colon and Bandido Jr, when they decided to "send a message" instead of trying to win the match like sportsmen. Pure Dynamite look great since coming back to NWA Impact, looking like they've got a renewed focus on becoming an elite tag team. Daniels and Walters have been teaming for awhile now, and used their cohesive teamwork to isolate SJK from getting to his partner. SJK was able to low blow Daniels when the ref got out of position, making the tag to Callihan. The team of TOXIC used dirty tactics to keep the ref ignorant of their heel tricks. Callihan was able to spike Walters with the headlock driver to pick up the victory.
Before anyone knew what was happening Ricky Reyes, Bandido Jr and Alex Colon were in the ring assaulting Callihan and SJK viciously with bandanas over their faces. Homicide who was in a hellish war last week with Brock Lesnar stayed on the outside, still injuried from being put through the ring at the Extreme League #1 (nwafantasyalliance.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=nwapu&action=display&thread=1422&page=1)
The faction of latinos knew that tonight Moxley, and his associates Steven Richards and Eli Cottonwood weren't at the show. This gave Homicide's stable a chance to get revenge for last week, sending a message back to TOXIC.
Homicide: Moxley, you and yo' bitches ain't nothin'. You think you've got a "Gang" motha f**** you don't know what a gang is, you messed up. You wanna f*** with us? We gonna f*** you up!
Callihan and SJK are down on the mat as this faction, this Latin America has returned the favor against TOXIC! What's going to happen when Jon Moxley finds out about this?
SINGLES MATCH
Prince Devitt vs. Paul London
Devitt still looked a bit tender, two weeks ago a deranged Chris Daniels assaulted him on his rampage for Suicide. The fact that London was still sour after losing his last match didn't help as London would target the injured ribs of Devitt. The Prince tried to stay in the fight but every breath he took sent waves of pain through his ribs. London would use bearhugs and ab stretches on Devitt, and even if Devitt could get to the ropes London held on forcing the ref to near DQs. Devitt had a brilliant spot of a comeback but London used a spear to put him down, a London Calling later and Paul would have his hand raised in victory.
TAG TEAM MATCH
Rockstars of Wrestling(Jimmy Rave & Jason Hades) w/ Lena Yada vs. The Impact All-Stars(Willie Mack & Famous B)
The Impact All-Stars a couple of hams, having soo much fun with the fans on their way to the ring. The smiles of Mack and B didn't last because the nasty and arrogant Rockstars weren't happy that the Briscoes were at ringside to add special guest commentary alongside Styles and Regal. The Rockstars knew that they had to focus on Famous B, because Willie Mack is big enough that if they let him get rolling they could very well lose the match. Rave and Hades were methodical as they picked apart B, who at one point made the tag to Mack, but Lena Yada had the ref distracted so he didn't see the tag, forcing Mack to go back to his corner. Famous B was in a lot of trouble but was able to hit a jumping clothesline on Rave, before taking a second hop and getting the tag to Willie Mack who threw clotheslines like it was going out of style! The crowd was hot for the All-Stars who took time to play to the crowd, which led to Hades chop blocking Mack, while Rave hit a flatliner giving the Rockstars the cheap win.
After the match the Rockstars got into a bit of a war of words with the Briscoes, but security stepped in before anything got out of hand.
SINGLES MATCH
"The Panama City Playboy" Adam Cole vs. CM Punk
This was tonights main event, and it was awesome. These two guys put on one hell of a match, getting the crowd to chant "This is Wrestling" as they traded holds showing off some nice chain spots. Punk really brought out the best in Cole in this match, which showcased a little of everything. Cole scored with a pescado to the outside on Punk, who would cut off Cole and whip him into the guard rail, following up with a few chops and kicks before sending Adam back into the ring. Punk would score from the top with the macho man tribute elbow for a very long two count. Punk would try argueing a three count with the ref but just cussed under his breath before trying something else to put his opponent away. Punk would nail the running knee in the corner following up with the bulldog, popping up and signalling for the G2S. Adam Cole was able to wiggle free and slide down the back of Punk trying for the straight jacket german suplex, but Punk would fight free, turn around and hit the welcome to chicago mother f***er! Punk wasn't done as he climbed onto the apron waiting for Cole to stand so he could score with a springboard clothesline thinking he's got the win this time. Cole was able to roll his shoulder off the mat and Punk was stunned. Adam Cole was able to fight Punk off to create some seperation, enough to snap off a superkick as Cole tried for the pin this time to only get a two count. It was Cole's turn to get frustrated as he got up and went to a nearby corner begging Punk to get up so he could superkick him again. Punk was able to duck at the last second cinching up Cole for the firemans carry before dumping him face first across his knee! Punk would grab both of Cole's legs rolling him onto his shoulders in a solid pin as the ref finally made the three count as CM Punk was declared the winner!
Punk stands in the ring smiling as he came away with a hard fought win tonight, Joey Styles thanks everyone for tuning in as the show fades out.
