NWA Extreme TV 15/03/2013[/u]
Welcome to NWA Extreme TV, the most extreme show in the NWA. The Extreme League is 3 weeks away, and things are heating up on the way to deciding who gets those 8 coveted spots in that tournament.
Proving Grounds
"The New Age Punisher" B-Boy vs Louis Lyndon
B-Boy got a big ovation from the fans, he is held in high regard in these parts in a similar fashion to his former tag partner Homicide. B-Boy starts fast with some big forearms, taking Lyndon to the mat, which he follows up with a knee to the face for a 2 count. B-Boy tosses Lyndon to the outside, then dives through the ropes with a big Suicide Dive! Lyndon is tosses back in, and here comes the SHINING WIZARD! 1-2-3! B-Boy makes a big impact in a debut win, which earns him a spot on the NWA Extreme Roster
Winner- B-Boy
Proving Grounds
ACH vs Samuray Del Sol
Lockup and an exchange of wristlocks, with some fast paced escapes from both men. Del Sol then charges and gets a Headscissors, followed by some Armdrags, but ACH manages to fire back with the same. After dual Dropkicks the two stand off, both evenly matched and wowing the fans in attendance. The two lock up again and ACH grabs a Headlock, before Del Sol throws him off the ropes. ACH charges but Del Sol leaps over him, but takes him down with another Armdrag followed by some big kicks to send ACH outside. Del Sol springboards up onto the ropes, HURRICANRANA ON THE OUTSIDE! The fans chant "holy shit" as Del Sol goes straight to work, picking up ACH and throwing him back inside. But ACH kicks him in the face and charges the ropes, TOPE! Both men are majorly impressing here as ACH throws Del Sol back in and heads to the 2nd rope. BEST 450 EVER MISSES! Del Sol is up and ready, DEL SOL DRIVER! 1-2-3. Samuray Del Sol wins, but I don't think either man deserved to lose here.
Winner- Samuray Del Sol
The fans chant "please come back" at ACH as well as Del Sol, indicating that both could be on the Extreme roster sooner rather than later.
Dan Maff and Xavier vs Jack Swagger and Drew McIntyre
Maff and Xavier have reformed their team from many years ago, and here they took on two men who are very much on the rise in Swagger and McIntyre, who have followed similar paths and have a lot of respect for each other. The power men of the team Maff and Swagger locked up to start this off, and Maff made an instant impact on Swagger's face with punches from a wristlock. Maff then dropped Swagger with a vicious Half Nelson Suplex that had the fans on their feet! Swagger tags McIntyre as Maff tags Xavier, and the two exchange some holds and counter holds, with McIntyre coming out on top thanks to his size advantage. Xavier answers this with a punch to the balls of McIntyre, and that brings Swagger and Maff in who have a real slugfest that goes outside the ring. McIntyre drops Xavier with the Future Shock, BUT HERE COMS BJ WHITMER! Whitmer attacks McIntyre and lays him out with the Exploder! Xavier covers McIntyre, 1-2-3, big upset here!
Winners- Dan Maff and Xavier
Post match Swagger and McIntyre take a brutal beating from Maff, Xavier and Whitmer, with Whitmer laying out McIntyre with an Exploder on a chair! MAFF NAILS SWAGGER WITH A BURNING HAMMER THROUGH A TABLE! The three men raise their hands with a very familiar sign, and we all know what this means. The Prophecy is back!
Jimmy Yang vs "The Real Showstopper" Michael Shane w/Brodie Lee
Shane is accompanied by his new "business partner" Brodie Lee, a partnership that definitely bares some similarities with his cousin's partnership with Diesel. Shane complains of a hair pull before the bell even rings, and goes outside to confer with Lee as the fans boo what they perceive as time wasting. Yang answer with a Body Press over the ropes onto both Shane and Lee! Yang throws Shane back in and heads up top, hitting a big Iconoclasm which gets a near fall. Yang climbs up top and signals for the Yang Time, but Lee is up and grabs Yang by the throat. CHOKESLAM THROUGH THE ANNOUNCERS TABLE! The fans chant "Holy Shit" as Lee pick up Yang's lifeless body and tosses it back in the ring. Shane then heads up top and hits the Elbow Drop, and thats obviously all.
Winner- Michael Shane
Shane isn't done however, he has Lee pick up Yang for Sweet Shane Music! Shane and Lee pose as Yang lies motionless on the canvas.
"The Machine Gun" Karl Anderson vs Sheamus "Fella"
Sheamus offered a handshake to Anderson pre-match, but Anderson refused, saying he isn't here to make friends, but to kick some ass. So the two decide to get straight to it, as much like Anderson's match with Wade Barrett last week the two men start off with a slugfest, throwing lots of rights and lefts, and it ended up outside the ring as the two brawled into the crowd. Anderson took the opportunity to grab a fan's chair and smash Sheamus over the head with it! Anderson then grabbed a can of Guinness to mock Sheamus, downing it in one before busting Sheamus' head open with the empty can. Anderson throws Sheamus back in the ring, and starts stomping away on him, then picks him up and throws him off the ropes looking for a Spinebuster. But Sheamus avoids it, BROGUE KICK! Sheamus is too weak to capitalise though, and both men make it to their feet, and exchange more lefts and rights. Sheamus wins this exchange, and takes Anderson down with the Irish Curse. ITS FELLA TIME! Sheamus is calling for that Brogue Kick, and goes for it, but Anderson avoids it, GUN STUN! 1-2-3, Karl Anderson just pinned the former NWA World Heavyweight Champion clean in the middle of the ring!
Winner- Karl Anderson
Anderson raises his arms and leaves, refusing a beer bash with Sheamus, who shrugs and has one himself anyway. If this is any indication, Karl Anderson is on his way to the top, and could be there sooner rather than later.
"The Angel of Death" Azrieal vs Randy Orton
Azrieal came very close to his first major NWA Extreme win against Sheamus last week, and this week has another chance against another former champion, Randy Orton. Lockup and Orton gets a wristlock, but Azrieal flips his way out and takes Orton down with a Headscissors, followed by a Hurricanrana. But Orton gets a Clothesline to kill Azrieal's momentum before it can build too much. Orton grabs a chinlock as the fans begin to get agitated, chanting "boring" at Orton. Azrieal fight his way back up and charges the ropes, avoids a Powerslam and Dropkicks Orton outside the ring. SUICIDE DIVE BY AZRIEAL! Azrieal looks really good here, he throws Orton back in, EG SPLASH! 1-2-NO, Orton kicks out! Azrieal goes for the Dusted Driver, but Orton escapes the ring as Azrieal gives chase. Orton grabs a chair and gets back in the ring, AND LEVELS AZRIEAL WITH THE CHAIR! RKO ON THE CHAIR! 1-2-3. Orton wins, but had it not been for the chair he could very easily have lost this one.
Winner- Randy Orton
Wade Barrett vs KENTA
Barrett attacks KENTA the second he gets in the ring, which wasn't exactly a wise move as for every right hand Barrett threw, KENTA has a kick to reply with. So to get an advantage, Barrett decided to go to the eyes, raking them, then raking KENTA's face along the top rope. Barrett raised his arms to the fans, who booed him mercilessly, and it was also a bad move as it allowed KENTA to drill him in the back of the head with the Busaiku Knee Kick. KENTA however made his own mistake, not going for the cover and instead trying to get Barrett up for the Go 2 Sleep, not wise considering the size difference. KENTA collapsed under the weight and Barrett took immediate advantage with the Souvenir. One 3 count later and this match belonged to Barrett.
Winner- Wade Barrett
Barrett grabbed the mic post match-
Barrett: Take note NWA, the Barrett Barrage is coming your way alongside the winds of change, and I'm ready to take you all down. I'm one punch away from glory whenever I want it!
"The Shooter" Vordell Walker vs Chris Dickinson
This one was a fight, its as pure and simple as that. The two went in exchanging fists, forearms and kicks, and while Walker has proven to be a more than competent fighter, Dickinson matched him blow for blow, and after near 2 minutes of vicious strikes neither man had an advantage. The match goes to the outside, with Walker beginning to find an edge with some more of those vicious right hands, but Dickinson grabs a chair and smashes Walker over the head with it! Dickinson throws Walker back in and locks him in a Stretch Plum, trying to make Walker pass out, but he holds on and Dickinson decides to release the hold. He hits a big German Suplex, then signal for the Brainbuster. He picks up Walker, but he gets a nasty right hand out of nowhere that takes Walker down! Both men get back up as time is running out, and Walker fires away with some more of those destructive right hands, then tosses Dickinson across the ring with a T-Bone Suplex. Here it comes, Juji-Gatame! Dickinson holds on for a good 20-30 seconds, and the time limit expires, so its up to the fans now. THE FANS RULE IN FAVOUR OF VORDELL WALKER! Controversial, but I guess the fans are ruling for their home promotion favourite.
Winner- Vordell Walker
Dickinson is not happy, he grabs Walker. BRAIN DRILL! Utterly brutal move, and the fans boo Dickinson as he raises his arms on his way backstage. This one certainly can't be called over.
Hernandez w/Chavo Guerrero vs Jack Evans w/Teddy Hart
Evans tries to one up Hernandez with some break dancing to start this off, and the fans chant "you got served" as Hernandez looks perplexed. Hernandez answers Evans dancing by punching him in the face, then lifting him up in a Body Press with ease, TOSSING HIM ONTO TEDDY HART ON THE FLOOR! Hernandez runs the ropes, SUICIDE DIVE! Insane agility by Hernandez, as he picks up Evans and tosses him into the ring. Hart throws a forearm at the back of Hernandez as he gets back in, and it has no effect as Hernandez stares down Hart, and Chavo Guerrero starts brawling with Hart on the outside. SPRINGBOARD 450 BY EVANS! But Evans wastes time after that awesome move by posing to the fans, giving Hernandez time to recover. The two are back in the ring as Evans goes up top looking for a 630. Hernandez kicks up and grabs Evans in mid air, BORDER TOSS! 1-2-3, thats all for Evans.
Winner- Hernandez
Kyle Matthews vs "The King of Controversy" Teddy Hart
Hart attacks Matthews during his entrance, not even letting the bell ring as the two brawled down the ramp. Hart's move backfired as Matthews began to lay into him with rights and lefts, but Hart kicked Matthews low to stop him in his tracks. Hart gets back in the ring, spring onto the top rope, SHOOTING STAR PRESS TO THE OUTSIDE! Hart raises his arms as the fans boo, this still hasn't started yet. Hart throws Matthews back in and goes up top, looking for Open Hart Surgery, but Matthews somehow avoids it! Matthews and Hart get up at about the same time, and its a slugfest again, which Matthews wins, and before Hart can go low again Matthews catches his foot and sweeps the leg out. ALBERTO DEL RIO ATTACKS FROM BEHIND! The champ snuck in through the crowd and smacked Matthews in the back of the head with his belt. ENZIGURI! Hart recovers as Del Rio heads up the ramp. OPEN HART SURGERY! 1-2-MATTHEWS KICKS OUT! Hart and Del Rio cannot believe it as Hart signals to the back. Jack Evans now makes his way out, and they are looking for the Dropkick/Hart Destroyer combo they used last week. But Matthews moves and Evans hits Hart! HIDAKA LOCK! Hart has nowhere to go, he taps!
Winner- Kyle Matthews
Matthews raises his arms as Hart lies down on the canvas, as Evans does his best to help his partner with his hurt arm. Meanwhile Del Rio is fuming on the ramp, and looks to leave, BUT BROCK LESNAR ATTACKS! F5 ON THE RAMP! Lesnar has a mic with him.
Lesnar: Hey Del Rio, I was the first King of Extreme, and if that doesn't entitle me to a shot at that belt then I don't know what will. Your not even going to make it to April 1st as champ because that belt is mine, and there's not a thing you or anyone else can do to stop me. The War Machine will be the most dominant NWA World Champion of all time!
Lesnar picks up Del Rio and locks him in the Brock Lock as Del Rio screams in pain, and Matthews looks on unsure what to make of this. What a statement of intent by "The War Machine!"
