The show opens with Steve Corino standing in the spot that used to be where the president stood.
Corino: I've got a few big announcements tonight, that will have Uncivil War implications. First off, I've reinstated Bobby Fish, as he's a wonderful talent. He will also be re-entered into the 3 Rivers title match at Uncivil War! Welcome back Mr. Fish! Secondly, this years Uncivil War will be a 10 man match! Sadly though Latin America is only four men strong so it looks like TOXIC will not only get the man advantage they'll also have an extra man. But I'm a fair man, if Latin America can find someone foo...err BRAVE enough to help them in the War Games match, I'll allow it!
Speaking of TOXIC, tonight Jon Moxley will be in a little tournament for the NWA Impact title! We're having a pair of matches tonight, and the winners will go on to the supershow to fight for the Impact title! Now let's start the show!
TaDarius is a great athlete but he's gotten a bad starting draw, facing off against two incredible talents. Kingston is a very vicious puppet for Prince Nana, using his incredible agility to impose his will. Thomas showed off his Capoeira skills to mount a come back, clapping and getting the crowd to egg him on as he stunned Kingston with a few punches, following up with a handstand kick knocking Kingston out of the ring. TaDarius tried for a baseball slide but Kingston was able to sidestep and yank Thomas out of the ring onto the floor. Kingston tied up the ref as Nana would wander over and stand on the throat of Thomas, walking away as the ref would turn to check on Thomas. Kingston tried to get a pin shortly after rolling his opponent in the ring, but Thomas would kick out. Kingston would allow Thomas to get up as he stalked his man, hitting the trouble in Ghana to pick up the win. After the match, Kingston like last week would stand over his opponent and put his hands together to signafy the embassy.
Tonight was the return of Future Shock, adding more fire to an already hot tag team division, capped off with Impacts own Briscoes. The Impact All-Stars are always fun to watch, and always give the crowd their moneys worth. But Future Shock didn't look to have much rust as they isolated Famous B, keeping him from his larger tag team partner. Famous B was in a ton of trouble as Future Shock made lots of quick tags keeping themselves fresh. Famous B fought for his life tagging out to Willie Mack who was like a run away train. The crowd cheered wildly as Willie Mack gave the crowd all kinds of attention. Willie Mack continued to bring the fight to the former tag team champions of the world. But Adam Cole was able to score with a knock out Superkick pinning Mack for a three count as O'Reilly hugged Famous B around the waist keeping him from making the save.
AmDrag is on a collision course with NWA World Heavyweight champion, Alberto del Rio at Uncivil War. Tonight however he was in for a fight, taking on the talented Prince Devitt. These two men put it all on the line in a PPV calibur match up. Devitt has been on a bad streak and every week he seems to get a little more bitter with each loss. Devitt fired off a series of brutal kicks that Danielson would absorb and retaliate with brutal chops. The mat wrestling was solid as both men tried to counter the other in an exciting contest. Danielson may have won the right to wrestle for the World title, but Devitt was giving him a run for his money. Devitt thought he had the match won with a double stomp off the top, but Danielson was able to roll Devitt up out of nowhere with a small package for a two count. Danielson fired off brutal kicks to the chest of Devitt before coming off the ropes with a sliding clothesline for another near fall. Danielson tried to go up top, but Devitt would spring to life running up and hitting Danielson with a huge superplex that bounced both men off the mat violently. Devitt was the first one up calling for the finish, trying for the bloody sunday. This brought about Danielson's survival instinct as he fought with everything he had to get free. The men were in the middle of the ring exchanging strikes, but Danielson would drag Devitt to the mat locking on a crossface with nowhere for Devitt to go he was forced to submit.
This was the first time Fish has been allowed in the building since putting the NWA President in the hospital. Dingo got a great ovation, coming out to the ring yelling "Aussie Aussie Aussie!" which the crowd would give him the love back, chanting "Oi Oi Oi!" Fish seemed disgusted by his partner as Delirious and Ricochet seemed to be a more cohesive unit, being in "enemy territory". Dingo was the first one in for team Impact, and he locked up with the former NWA World Junior champion, Ricochet. Ricochet would try to use his high flying skills but Dingo wasn't having it throwing a vicious kick to Ricochet's midsection when the high flyer tried to hit a springboard moonsault. Dingo looked to continue with that opening but was blind tagged by Fish with a vicious chop to Dingo's back. If looks could kill then Dingo would have committed murder as Fish took over the match, but due to taking their eyes off of Ricochet to have their lil staredown, it gave Ricochet the opening to hit an enziguri. Ricochet would dive into his corner for a tag to Delirious who would level Fish with clotheslines, before Fish was able to cut off Delirious and start plying his craft against the masked maniac. Fish looked to be getting the advantage this time only to have Dingo return the favor with a chop to his opponents back. It was Fish's turn to glare as Dingo took over, but Fish had enough and left his partner for dead in the ring giving him the finger as he walked away. Dingo would turn his attention to Fish exchanging words, and Delirious would schoolboy Dingo, stacking him on his shoulders long enough for the three count!
This was a joke, commissioner Corino is a guy who always favors the heel and tonight he pretty much gave Moxley a bye to the Impact title match at the Supershow. Douglas got a great reaction from the crowd as "Perfect Strangers" by Deep Purple played over the house speakers. Douglas took this match very seriously but Moxley's youth and brutality were hard to combat. Shane Douglas is nearly 50 years old, but he was able to put together a string of punches and chops that absolutely stunned Moxley who ended up thumbing the eyes of the Franchise, not letting Douglas get any more offense as he hit the Boma Ye. Moxley could have ended the match there, but instead he'd pull the extreme legend up at the count of two, continuing his sick display. Moxley would stalk Douglas out of the corner, giving him the familiar finger gun shot. The franchise would try getting to a knee as Moxley would pull down his knee pad and hit another sickening Boma Ye to Douglas, this time Moxley would make the cover and get the victory.
In a contrast of the other tournament match, these two guys are both at the top of their game. Corino had to be smiling in his office as he watched the two faction leaders that oppose TOXIC, facing off against each other for the right to fight Moxley at the supershow. Neither man had anyone in their corner as both men have respect for one another. This match was brutal and bloody with Homicide bringing his street style into the match, but Punk's a former world champion and was able to give back as good as he got. Homicide nailed off the Ace Cutter but Punk was able to get his shoulder off the mat. Homicide would try to pull Punk to his feet to go for something else but Punk would fight out of Homicides grip and hit a standing kick to the side of Homicides head, stunning his opponent. Punk would hit the double underhook into a backbreaker for a two count. Punk would immediatly slip Homicide in the anaconda vice, but Cide was to close to the ropes and was able to get a rope break, that Punk would begrudgingly adhere to. Homicide had a lapse in judgement pulling himself up in the corner, where Punk would hit the high knee followed up with the bulldog. Punk looked in control as he went to the top for the elbow drop, but Cide would move out of the way letting Punk crash and burn. It was Homicides turn to put Punk through hell as Punk held his elbow in pain, Homicide would damn near kick Punk's head off, before trying to slap on the STF. Punk would drag Homicide with him to the rope, hanging onto the bottom rope for dear life as Homicide released the hold, getting in a war of words with the ref. Homicide looked for the cop killa but Punk would spin Cide into the pepsi twist, before signalling for the G2S. Cide looked a bit wobbly as he got to his feet and Punk wouldn't waste anytime hoisting up Cide, and dropping him face first across his knee. Punk would hook the leg of Homicide to get the hard fought win.
Punk looked exhausted as he let it sink in that he's going to the supershow to battle Moxley for the NWA Impact title. He was snapped back to reality as Moxley stepped out from behind the curtain applauding, getting halfway to the ring as Punk beckoned for Moxley to get in the ring. Moxley just smiled as TOXIC spilled from behind the curtain, Moxley's army looked to dismantle both Homicide and Punk who looked to be in trouble. But as TOXIC surrounded the two leaders, their respective teams would rush the ring! Latin America and the Straight Edge Society would work together to battle against TOXIC!
Joey Styles: OH MY GOD! It's an absolute war! TOXIC, Latin America and the Straight Edge Society look to rip this place apart! We're out of time, but you don't want to miss Uncivil War this sunday only on iPPV! Than--
