The show opens with Joey Styles and "Lord" William Regal standing in the middle of the ring.
Joey Styles: Ladies and gentlemen welcome to Uncivil War 2013! I am your host Joey Styles and this is my...
Joey Styles eyes roll as he's interupted by the acting commissioner of NWA Impact, "The King of Old School" Steve Corino.
Steve Corino: Get out of MY ring!
Styles and Regal looked a bit pissed off but are forced to exit the ring as Corino takes there spot looking very aggitated.
Corino: Who did it?! I wanna know who attacked one of our guests tonight, Jimmy Jacobs! Come out here right now or there will be hell to pay!
After a few moments Corino gets red in the face.
Corino: Fine have it your way! But when I find out who you are...so help me...
Corino exits the ring as the camera goes to Styles and Corino at the announce table as they finish introducing themselves and run down tonights card main evented by the War Games match.
TAG TEAM MATCH
DDR(Shockwave & BxB Hulk) vs. Future Shock(Kyle O'Reilly & Adam Cole)
DDR(Shockwave & BxB Hulk) vs. Future Shock(Kyle O'Reilly & Adam Cole)
The first match features the dancing, fun loving team of Shockwave the Robot and BxB Hulk, along with a few dancing girls that dance their way to the ring. The other side of the ring are two men who have been to the top of the Tag Team division, former World Tag Champions, Future Shock. Future Shock are going to face off against the current tag champs, The Briscoes, but tonight they'd have to focus on two men who may come off silly but are brutally efficent. Cole didn't take DDR seriously enough and ended up in the wrong corner as DDR cut him off using a lot of double team moves that they've really found their niche with. Shockwave would lift Hulk for what looked like a belly to back suplex but instead used his robot strength to drop his partner with a huge leg drop onto Cole for a near fall. Shockwave tried for a static charged leg drop but only came away with a two count as Cole tried to get a tag, when O'Reilly got into the ring he was on fire dropping DDR with rapid fire clotheslines taking control of the match for his team. Future Shock look to have gotten back on the same page after not tagging for a long period of time. Adam Cole was able to score with a straight jacket german suplex that got a two count, but Cole would tag in O'Reilly who would finish off Hulk with the cloverleaf forcing him to submit.
Adam Cole would get a microphone from the ring announcer as Kyle would skulk around the ring still ready to fight.
Adam Cole: No matter how things go down tonight, weither it be the Rockstars or the Briscoes, come the Supershow... the belts are coming back to Kyle and I.
SINGLES MATCH
Paul London vs. Prince Devitt
Paul London vs. Prince Devitt
You have to think that the winner of this match would be put in the spotlight for an X division title match with Austin Aries in the near future. Both of these men are extremely talented and put on a very solid match. London come into this match not going as high risk, not wanting to cost himself this match. Paul London has matured a lot here in Impact and now when he uses a risky move he picks his spots much more carefully. Devitt thought he had the upperhand but got dropped with a dropsault from London out of seemingly nowhere. Devitt looked stunned as London went to the top for his shooting star press but Devitt had enough awareness to put his knees up in time doubling over London. Prince Devitt would hop to life hitting the bloody sunday on London but only got a two count as Devitt looked stunned. Devitt waited for London to set up, stalking him for a knock out kick, but London would drop back down making Devitt miss before kipping back up and hit a reverse hurrincanrana on Devitt. London tried to make the cover but Devitt would kick out, and it was London's turn to be stunned. London tried to hit the waffleface but Devitt would roll him up for a near fall, this time Devitt was ready and London wasn't as Devitt threw another knock out kick, this one scored him the win.
SIX MAN TAG TEAM MATCH
Austin Aries, Josh Daniels & John Walters vs. CM Punk, Famous B and Willie Mack
Austin Aries, Josh Daniels & John Walters vs. CM Punk, Famous B and Willie Mack
This was a fun six man tag, it was very lucha inspired as the tagging in and out kind of went out the window. It was as organized as a free for all could ever be, of course Aries and Punk didn't get in the ring against each other for a long period of the match up. Aries would spit in the face of Punk, drawing Punk into the ring forcing the ref to hold him back as Aries would thumb the eyes of Famous B pulling him to the wrong corner where Daniels would be tagged in to ply his vicious style on B. Josh Daniels was like a surgeon and would work over the arm of B any and every which way he could before tagging Aries back in who would smile wide as he just had a weakened opponent to toy with, Aries was more worried about getting into a war of words with Punk on the apron, trying to make sure he was more of a showpiece than Punk. The match took a turn as Famous B hit a pinpoint dropkick on Aries, before tagging out to Punk who finally got his hands on Aries. These two guys tore it up in the ring exchanging holds until Punk got the best of Aries who would high tail it to his corner to tag out to Walters. Aries would go back to talking smack when he was on the apron out of harms way of Punk, as Punk would work over Walters, before spitting in the face of Aries! Aries tried to get in the ring and Punk who also knows every trick in the book would thumb the eyes of Walters and push him into his corner for a tag to Mack. Willie Mack is so agile for his size and he would impose his will on Walters hitting a big samoan drop followed up with a standing moonsault, but couldn't get the win as Daniels and Aries would hit the ring inciting a riot in the ring as all six men would unload on each other. The Impact All-Stars, Famous B and Willie Mack would hold their opponents at bay as Punk finished off Walters with the Go to Sleep to score the win for his team. Aries would mouth off after that match that Daniels and Walters held him back as he hugged his X division title like a spoiled brat.
The show cuts to Joey Styles who lets the fans watching that they're cutting to the locker room of TOXIC where Jon Moxley, and the remaining members of TOXIC find Stevie Richards knocked out just like Jimmy Jacobs earlier, someone's picking off TOXIC tonight and it was rattling the nerves of the most dangerous stable in NWA Impact history.
NWA 3 RIVERS TITLE MATCH
"Diamondback" Dingo(Impact) vs. Bobby Fish(Impact) vs. Ricochet vs. Delirious(WarZone)
"Diamondback" Dingo(Impact) vs. Bobby Fish(Impact) vs. Ricochet vs. Delirious(WarZone)
When this match was originally set up Ricochet was apart of the NWA WarZone roster, but things have changed but this could be a chance for Ricochet to get a spotlight shown on him. The match opened up with Dingo and Fish immediatly going toe to toe as Delirious and Ricochet would look on, letting the Impact members work each other over. Ricochet eventually got involved as Dingo went for a pin on Fish. This drew Ricochet into the fray as Delirious did his best impression of a ref, trying to count the threes and rope breaks along with the actual ref who ended up in a shouting match with Delirious. This caused the ref to miss the count on a pin by Ricochet, causing Ricochet to attack Delirious as Fish and Dingo continued to fight a very personal war across the ring. Deirious would get whipped into Fish and Dingo clotheslining them both out of the ring! Delirious would get up ended over the top by Ricochet, landing on both Fish and Dingo sending them crashing back down on the floor! Ricochet wound wait for all three men to get up, hurling himself over the top rope onto everyone, landing on his feet and playing to the crowd. Fish was the first one up driving Ricochet into the steel turnbuckle. Bobby Fish you could tell was tired of the nonsense attacking Delirious ruthlessly. Dingo would inadvertantly save Delirious as he would whip Fish into the guard rail, following him in with a knee to the gut. Delirious would come off the apron with an axe handle before the men start making their way back into the ring. Delirious tried to hit the chemical imbalance on Ricochet but ended up taking a jumping roundhouse from Bobby Fish. Dingo tried to capitalize and hit Fish from behind but Fish would duck a clothesline and roll up Dingo pulling the tights but out of the refs vision to eek out the three count.
Fish got his hand raised in victory as an extremely pissed off Dingo watched, you can tell these two are going to mix it up again in the future.
NWA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
The Rockstars of Wrestling w/ Lena Yada vs. The Briscoes(c)
The Rockstars of Wrestling w/ Lena Yada vs. The Briscoes(c)
The Briscoes were the team that unseated the Rockstars as the NWA World Tag Team champions, and tonight they'd get a shot at regaining the championship going into the SuperShow. The usually arrogant Rockstars were focused tonight, wanting to get the gold back around their waists, and a loss tonight would surely drop them out of the tag picture for some time. The Briscoes are a pair of fan favorites that get the crowd pumped when they make their way to the ring. Jimmy Rave and Jay Briscoe started things off and you could tell that everytime Jay would come out on top after a series of holds, Rave would get a bit aggrivating, trying hard to keep his temper in check. Lena Yada would do her best to direct her team, trying to get the match in their favor but the Briscoes were just to hot to be contained. Yada would watch on in horror as Mark Briscoe downed both members of RoW with a pair of bionic elbows. Mark would try for a crab walk across the ropes, looking to drop a big elbow but Yada would grab his ankle, getting her ejected by the ref but saving her team as she cussed and screamed on her way to the back. The Rockstars used the distraction to try to get the upperhand but the Briscoes on this night were to much as Jay Briscoe planted Jason Hades with the J-Driller for the win. The Briscoes retained their titles going into the Supershow, and the Rockstars are left to figure out how to beat the team that they just can't stop.
NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH
"The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson vs. Alberto del Rio(c)
"The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson vs. Alberto del Rio(c)
Although Alberto del Rio has to defend his World title on April 1st, he still had to come to Pittsburgh tonight to face off against "The American Dragon"! Rio took this match extremely serious knowing the reputation that Danielson carries. These two grapplers exchanged holds like a chess match with neither man wanting to be caught in the others crippling submission. Although the calibur of the challenger is high, Rio is the current heavyweight champion of the world, and son of wrestling legend Dos Caras. Danielson controlled most of the middle of the match but Rio was slowly working on the arm of the American Dragon. It was suttle at first, Bryan would try to shake off the numbness in his arm as he continued to press his advantage, stretching Rio every chance he could get, but after awhile Danielson would have to protect his arm as the damage to it was mounting as Rio continued with his battle plan. Danielson tried to apply the crossface chickenwing, a hold that's fell many an opponent, but he didn't have enough arm strength left to keep it tight and del Rio was able to wiggle free. The first time Rio went for the armbar Danielson was able to crawl to the rope and get a break forcing the match to go longer, as Danielson tried to put away the champion before his arm would give out. Danielson would light up Rio with chops and kicks, but Alberto would catch the arm of Danielson again putting him in another painful armbar, Danielson tried to claw and drag his way to the ropes but Rio would release the hold enough to drag Danielson back to the middle of the ring forcing him to finally submit after an incredible world title match!
WAR GAMES MATCH
TOXIC(SJK, Rocky Romero, Davey Richards, Sami Callihan & Jon Moxley) w/ Eli Cottonwood vs. Latin America(Alex Colon, Ricky Reyes, Bandido Jr. Homicide & ?)
TOXIC(SJK, Rocky Romero, Davey Richards, Sami Callihan & Jon Moxley) w/ Eli Cottonwood vs. Latin America(Alex Colon, Ricky Reyes, Bandido Jr. Homicide & ?)
This was an uphill battle for Latin America, but it's not as bad as it could have been. Alex Colon started off against Sterling James Keenan as the War Games match officially kicked off! Colon came out fighting trying to wear down Keenan as much as possible before the next member of TOXIC would hit the ring. Colon looked in control, until Rocky Romero hit the ring, starting the lop sided fight that Latin America would face tonight. Ricky Reyes was the next one in taking shots at TOXIC and picking a fight with his former partner in Romero. Davey Richards was the next one in and he's so explosive, and he commanded his TOXIC teammates like a true ring general. Bandido Jr tried a different approach keeping his distance and picking his shots, until Callihan got in behind him knocking him down with a clothesline to the back of his head. TOXIC were in control as Homicide came to the ring trying to help his brothers in arms. Homicide got a huge pop from the crowd, but when Moxley got to the ring followed up by his bodyguard Eli Cottonwood you could just tell it was a losing battle for Latin America. The timer ticked away for Latin America's last entrant but Joey Styles pointed out that no one was stepping up and it was just for show. That is until "iOLE!" by the Bouncing Souls hit as El Generico made his return to NWA Impact and the capacity crowd was deafening as they cheered on the returning Generico! Joey Styles alluded to the "Angel of Death" trying to figure out why Generico would use that for his return. Cottonwood would step between Generico and the cage, causing the crowd to boo wildly. The lights go out...
3/23/13
The haunting music plays as the lights come back up, "The Stone Jaw Outlaw" Garrett Dylan stands at the top of the ramp, staring down Cottonwood with a cold hard glare. Cottonwood leaves Generico to face this new member of NWA Impact. These two men are massive, Cottonwood approaches Dylan who hasn't moved a muscle, but once Cottonwood stepped into striking distance, "The Angel of Death" would strike with a clothesline to hell dropping Eli. Moxley looked on in horror that his body guard is knocked cold, the ref opens the cage door and Generico is all over Moxley. Dylan slips away as quietly as he appeared, as Generico rallies Latin America! Homicide drops Moxley with the cop killa and Generico follows up with a 450 splash. Moxley is crumpled up in pain as he starts shouting that he gives up! The crowd goes wild as Latin America lead by the returning Generico have finally won a major battle in the war against TOXIC!
