DARK MATCHES
SINGLES MATCH
Jinder Mahal vs. Matthew Justice
00:07:00
Mahal would dominate his taller opponent early by attacking the knee with kicks and then keeping him grounded with elbows and joint holds, really showing a vicious streak. The fans were not fond of Mahal, who showed no respect to his opponent and would taunt them, leading them to rally behind Justice, who would come back with elbows to the gut of the Punjabi star, followed by big time clotheslines and dropkicks, leading to the 6'06" star showing his great agility with a dive to the outside! Justice sends Mahal back into the ring and flies with a Springboard Clothesline he calls Air Justice, and that's all she wrote! That energized the fans a bit, as it was a pretty good run through the fundamentals of match building for both men.
TAG TEAM MATCH
Courtney Rush & "The Anti-Diva" Serena Deeb vs. Melanie Cruise & "The Canadian Ninja" Portia Perez
00:11:30
Perez would offer the handshake to Rush as the match began. Rush would accept, leading to Perez taking her down with a knee strike! Dirty! Perez and Cruise take Rush to the woodshed from here, pounding her in the corner and on the mat, before Rush is able to catch Cruise with some elbows to break a headlock and deliver a big Exploder Suplex to get free, managing a hot tag afterward. Deeb would nail a couple of big spears, getting a close two at one point, but she would also get overwhelmed, as Cruise resorted to hair pulling and choking to really put a hurting on the "Anti-Diva." This match would come to an end with Perez hitting a Swinging Reverse STO on Rush after some quick action involving all four women, earning the three count victory in a climatic finish.
TRIANGLE MATCH
"The God of War" Crimson vs. Darren Young vs. "Maverick" Tony Nese
00:11:30
All three of these men come into this match with a slightly different style, though all of them are very capable of brawling and laying a suplex on somebody. Crimson is a good 5 to 7 inches taller than his opponents and would use that excess leverage to his advantage, but it was Nese who was able to use his speed to make the most of an impact, hitting some big time kicks and knee strikes, but also showed his power by hitting a German Suplex on the much bigger Crimson to get a good reaction from the crowd. Young would actually have the most near falls in the match, capitalizing on whatever he could and picking his spots nicely, for the most part, but would end up eating a 450 Splash from "Maverick" at the end of the match to lose by pinfall.

Opening Segment
00:00:30
Mike Tenay and Scott Hudson welcome the fans back, running down some of the big matches signed for tonight, including Johnny Gargano defending his World Junior Heavyweight championship against Sami Callihan, and a big War Zone title match between Alex Shelley and Chris Hero later in the night! They are interrupted by the World Heavyweight champion making his way to the ring!
In-Ring Segment
00:04:00
Kyle Matthews comes out and says he's had an eye on the product, and has decided that to be a defending champion, he needs to defeat someone from this roster. He says he has beaten the best from around the world, and has earned his spot, but has yet to do battle here in the War Zone, and he feels that maybe it is a sign of disrespect from the office and that maybe it is time he put War Zone Wrestling in its place! He says he is the "Most Hybrid Athlete in the NWA," and can defeat anyone, any time, and if someone here wants his title, he'll be happy to snap their arm off as they try to take it from him! Shane Douglas comes to the ring and says while certain members of the roster already have obligations, he knew Matthews was coming and was going to be running his mouth, so he was able to scrounge up some names on short notice that will participate in a battle royale tonight, and the winner will be his challenger at the first ever War Zone iPPV, Doomsday!

Newcomer Leo Kruger comes to the ring accompanied by the beautiful Maria Kanellis. Maria introduces him as "The Headhunter" to the fans, absolute alpha male with the most killer instinct of any man in the history of the sport! Kruger takes the mic and puts out a challenge, saying that he can defeat anyone in the back in three minutes! This leads the light dimming and another debuting duo heading to the stage, as manager James Mitchell practically slithers out from the back to say he was looking for an opportunity, and it seems one has arrived, to introduce the new face of vengeance in professional wrestling, "The Dark Rider" Rick Victor... and he gladly accepts this challenge!
SINGLES MATCH
00:03:30
"The Headhunter" Leo Kruger w/ Maria Kanellis vs. "The Dark Rider" Rick Victor w/ James Mitchell
These two don't waste any time getting right to the big hits, as Kruger seemed to be very serious about the three minute thing, and Victor took it as he wasn't joking. This was a match between two very solid technicians, as the South African Kruger tried to out maneuver the Hart Dungeon trained Victor, and it made for a compelling contest, fast paced contest. The two would try to pin the others shoulders to the mat in a beautiful display on chain wrestling, but Victor was able to get his feet on the ropes during a roll-up, stealing a win out from under Kruger!
Mike Tenay:
Underhanded way to steal a win there, and Kanellis is trying to protest.
Scott Hudson:
Kruger is smiling, though, Mike, as he knows he got outsmarted tonight. I have a feeling this isn't the last time we'll see these two lock up, and I'm looking forward to it!

Backstage, Sami Callihan and Jimmy Jacobs approach Tyler Black on behalf of TOXIC. The supergroup is apparently looking to recruit, and they've apparently had their eye on Black. Jacobs says that he and Black go way back, and he'd love for him to join a winning team, stating that if he were to accept, that Callihan would graciously let him take his place in the main event tonight to get a shot at Gargano's championship. Black doesn't take much time to accept, wanting a shot at that gold!
Mike Tenay:
It looks like tonight we're going to be seeing Johnny Gargano and Tyler Black do battle for the World Junior Heavyweight title!
Scott Hudson:
That's going to be a war!
Pre-Match Segment
00:01:30
Out to the ring comes Eddie Kingston with a mic in hand. He cuts a promo with big man Hernandez by his side, stating that he and "SuperMex" came up from the streets and have made themselves two of the most well respected men in their respective hoods, and think it's time they got that same respect from the wrestling world! They said they don't care who they face tonight, but it's time they get some time on television to show the world what Nobleza del Raza looks like in action! This leads Lance Archer and Roman Reigns to come to the ring and say they aren't impressed with the "Raza" and it is instead time for the Reign of Terror to begin, starting with these two jabronies! It looks like they are about to brawl, which leads Shane Douglas to come out and say that he likes both teams enthusiasm and drive... but will it work against them? He says he is making a tag team match for right here, right now, but the man who picks up the pinfall in this tag team match will be entered into the Battle Royale later on tonight to decide who will face the World Heavyweight champion at Doomsday!
TAG TEAM MATCH
00:06:30
Nobleza del Raza: "The War King" Eddie Kingston & "SuperMex" Hernandez vs. Reign of Terror: "Texas Terror" Lance Archer & Roman Reigns
This is just an all out brawl, as these four all fight on the outside of the ring for a good portion of the match. Hernandez and Archer, the two biggest men in the match, actually prove to be the most agile, as Hernandez hits an impressive plancha to the outside at one point, while Archer nearly picks up a pinfall over "SuperMex" with a Moonsault! At nearly 7 feet tall, that is no small feat for "Texas Terror!" Kingston and Hernandez both try to steal pinfalls out from under the other, Kingston quickly jumping on Archer after Hernandez hits a splash on him and rolls off holding hit gut, but only gets a two, while Hernandez hops on Reigns after a Backdrop Driver, also getting a two count. This doesn't lead to hostility, however, as it is all just in friendly competition. In the end, though, perhaps the most unlikely of all, Roman Reigns, who has never worked in the territory, is able to catch Kingston with a big time Spear that was able to keep him down for the three count to get the win!
Mike Tenay:
Roman Reigns picks up the win here in a shocker! He's headed to the battle royale later in the night!
Scott Hudson:
Archer pats his partner on the back there, raising his hand and it's obvious he wishes him well. Obviously, all four men wanted that spot, but it was just a matter of being in the right place and the right time there, nearly cutting Kingston in half with a vicious Spear for the win.

TRIANGLE MATCH
00:07:00
"The Female Terminator" Alissa Flash vs. "The Banshee" MsChif vs. "The Queen of Wrestling" Sara Del Rey
This was a very smartly worked match, as three of the very best women's wrestlers in the world did battle here in what was a monumental match for women in the region. These fans were actually enthralled in the contest, as MsChif would show her flexibility, being stretched and slammed in very impressive fashions, but also did some great stretching of her own and would earn the most near falls in the contest. Flash would nearly get the win over MsChif with a Kudo Driver, but Del Rey would grab her off of "The Banshee" and hit a German Suplex, rolled into a Tiger Suplex, rolled into a Camel Clutch! MsChif would try to break it up with a boot to her face, but Del Rey catches the boot and flips her backwards, but MsChif lands on her feet and sprays a Green Mist into the eyes of Del Rey! She then comes up behind "The Queen of Wrestling" and tries for a Call From The Grave (Rolling Cutter), but Del Rey uses her instincts and twisting and hitting a Northern Lights Suplex transitioned into a Cross Armbar! Del Rey threatens to snap the arm, and Flash is trying to pull herself up in the corner, but it is too later. MsChif taps and Del Rey gets the win!
Mike Tenay:
Del Rey shows her technical excellence, earning the submission victory with that Cross Armbar on MsChif!
Scott Hudson:
That was a gutsy move, as you can tell she is still practically blind from that Green Mist earlier. Stellar performance from all three of these ladies tonight!

Yte another newcomer, Richie Steamboat, the son of the legendary Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, makes his way to the ring with a mic in hand. He says he's excited to be here and wants to make a move for Alex Shelley's championship, and would like to challenge anybody in the back! This, however, takes a surprising turn, as his challenge is accepted by another newcomer... AMERICAN DRAGON! Dragon has a mic and says he is tired of guys like Steamboat who think they can just jump over everyone who has worked hard in this business and get title shots off of their famous last names, and tonight, for anybody who was asking themselves, "Is Richie Steamboat going to be the next War Zone champion?" and for Little Richie, who is asking himself, "Do I have what it takes to be as great as my father? Could I be one of the greats in this business?" To all of you asking these questions, the answer is simply... NO! NO! NO!
SINGLES MATCH
00:07:00
American Dragon vs. Richie Steamboat
Steamboat surprises Dragon early on with two deep armdrags, the second of which he turns into a tight armbar. Dragon slams his fist on the mat in anger before reversing the hold, but Steamboat is able to catch him with a chop, followed by a Dropkick to send him to the outside! Steamboat looks like he might dive, but Dragon gets up on the apron and kicks him in the face before he can do so, following up with a Springboard European Uppercut, which he follows up for a two count. Dragon really grinds and stretches Steamboat out from here, mocking him and getting the fans behind Steamboat, as the second generation star tries to fight back. This leads Dragon to hit a series of European uppercuts as he gets to his feet, sending him into the corner where Dragon blasts him with a flurry of shoot kicks, followed by a Snap Underhook Suplex, which also earns him a two count. Dragon seems to be tiring of this and tries for a Dragon Suplex, but Steamboat breaks free and drops down, rolling up Dragon for a two count! Dragon gets up, besides himself, attempting a Spinning Backchop, but Steamboat ducks it, running off the ropes and hitting a Running Forearm, followed by another big Arm Drag, finishing up with a Sliding Lariat for a two count! Steamboat heads up top, looking for a Diving Crossbody, but Dragon catches him with a dropkick coming off the ropes! Dragon hits a Northern Lights Suplex on Steamboat from here, picking him up and then trying to transition behind for a German Suplex, perhaps, but Steamboat quickly rolls him up with a Small Package! The referee counts and gets to three!
Mike Tenay:
Good God, Richie Steamboat got the win! Richie Steamboat got the win!
Scott Hudson:
He can't believe it... we can't believe it! Most of all, American Dragon can't believe it!
Post-Match Segment
00:02:00
Dragon is obviously embarrased, and in turn attacks Steamboat as he is celebrating, hitting a Dragon Suplex on him and then transitioning it into the Cattle Mutilation! This leads Spanky to come out, getting a roar from the crowd! Spanky lands some big punches and a dropkick on Dragon, followed by a Pescado and more punches! This leads Shane Douglas to come out and say that he won't tolerate this kind of chaos! He says that right now, Dragon and Steamboat need to get to the back, and Spanky needs to get into that ring. He says he's been on a bit of a slump the last couple of weeks, and this week he gets a chance to turn that around, but it won't be easy. Tonight, he faces a major acquisition War Zone has made from Japan... tonight he faces a man by the name of Yoshi Tatsu!
SINGLES MATCH
00:07:00
Spanky vs. Yoshi Tatsu
Tatsu is able to keep Spanky at bay early by feigning kicks at him, trying to feel out his more experienced opponent and set the pace for this match himself. Spanky was able to latch onto on of his legs though and take this match to the mat, where he wanted it, and would stretch out Tatsu with some submission holds, but Tatsu showed he had a good working knowledge of the mat, as was to be expected, and would make his way up to his feet and light up Spanky with some of those kicks, getting the fans into this as he racked up a few near falls. Spanky would fight back viciously with elbows and forearms, followed by a Springboard Back Kick and then a German Suplex bridged for a two count. Tatsu would try to head outside to catch a breather, but Spanky would threaten to dive out, catching himself on the ropes as Tatsu attempted to evade, heading to the apron and then running off with a Rolling Senton attack to smash Tatsu on the outside and get the fans on their feet! Spanky would nail a Sliced Bread #2 on the outside, pushing off the turnpost, before rolling Tatsu to the inside. Spanky attempts to cover, but only a two. Spanky tries to pick up Tatsu and hit his patented finisher on the inside, only to eat a barrage of shoot kicks to the legs, followed by a Snapmare and then a shoot kick to the chest, which earned Tatsu a two count. Tatsu would attempt a Shining Wizard, but Spanky ducked it, running and climbing the buckles afterwards and coming off with a Rotating Crossbody, only for a two count. Tatsu tries for a Roundhouse Kick to Spanky's head as they get up, but Spanky ducks it, catching Tatsu with an Enzuigiri, followed by a Sliced Bread #2, and it's all over! Spanky gets the pinfall victory!
Mike Tenay:
Spanky wins a tough battle with the Japanese star Yoshi Tatsu here, and the fans are on their feet... oh, what is this!
Post-Match Segment
00:0:00
American Dragon is back on the scene, and he and Tatsu are both actually laying it into Spanky, Tatsu showing that he is a bit of a sore loser, before Dragon grabs Spanky by both of his wrists and just starts stomping him to the chest and face! Douglas makes his way back out, yelling, "That's enough!" He then says that next week, Dragon will have plenty of opportunity to get some revenge, as it'll be Spanky and Steamboat taking on he and Tatsu in a tag team match! Dragon and Tatsu both seem very pleased with this as they leave the ring.

Azrieal vs. BJ Whitmer vs. Chris Dickinson vs. Delirious vs. Eddie Edwards vs. Eric Ryan vs. JTG vs. Kenny Omega vs. Roman Reigns vs. Shiima Xion
This was an all out brawl, as you might expect. Dickinson and Whitmer were at each other right off the back, while Whitmer's partner Azrieal and Dickinson's partner Ryan tried to help them and would fight each other throughout. From there, the first elimination was Xion, who tried running and attacking JTG, but JTG dropped down, grabbing the top rope and sending the Filipino star flying over the top and to the floor. JTG would be the next to go, however, as he was caught taunting, getting caught by Reigns and Edwards from behind and tossed to the outside. Ryan and Azrieal were the next two to go, as Delirious dropkicked Ryan to the back as he tried to shove Azrieal over, sending both men tumbling over the top!
Mid-Match Commercial Break
00:00:30
Kenny Omega is able to eliminate Edwards next, attempting to Back Body Drop him over the top, but Edwards lands on his feet, only to catch an Overhead Kick to the face from the Canadian star which sent him flying off the apron and into the guardrail! Whitmer and Dickinson would continue to brutalize each other, which would lead Delirious and Omega to team up on them and try to get rid of them, only to have Roman Reigns come up from behind and try to get rid of Omega! Omega would catch the top rope and try to skim the cat, but Reigns caught him with a dropkick to the chest and sent him tumbling to the floor!
Delirious lights up Reigns with multiple chops and whips him, trying to send him over the top, but Reigns grabs the top rope and lands on his feet on the apron. Reigns shoulderblocks Delirious and tries to Suplex him to the outside, but Delirious knees him in the head to block and reverse it, running and Springboarding off the middle rope, catching Reigns with a Back Elbow that sent him falling to the outside! Delirious rushes and tries to eliminate Whitmer with a Leaping Clothesline, but Whitmer actually catches Delirious mid-move and executes an EXPLODER SUPLEX! That send Delirious over the ropes, sending him landing with the back of his head and right shoulder on the apron as he falls to the floor, eliminating him!
The match comes down to Whitmer and Dickinson, who have been bitter rivals almost as long as the current incarnation of this territory has been up and running. These two just blast each other with huge chops and punches, both men showing visible welts and Dickinson is bleeding from his eyebrow after catching some sharp MMA style elbows from Whitmer earlier in the match. Whitmer hooks in Dickinson and looks be trying to Suplex him to the outside, but Dickinson clinches in the arm and spins around, trying to use the momentum to send Whitmer up and over the ropes, but Whimter is able to catch himself, straddling the top rope with his arms and legs. He's trapped, though, and Dickinson backs up and before Whitmer can do anything, Dickinson BICYCLE KICKS WHITMER TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD AS HE STRADDLES THE TOP ROPE, SENDING HIM FLYING AWKWARDLY TO THE OUTSIDE!
Mike Tenay:
My God! Whitmer just took a huge fall there!
Scott Hudson:
He just got kicked in the head there in that crazy awkward position... wow. What a finish... and it's Chris Dickinson headed to Doomsday to face Kyle Matthews for the World Heavyeight championship!

SINGLES MATCH
00:11:30
Alex Shelley (c) vs. Chris Hero
Hero was defeated by Shelley in the title tournament weeks ago, but he had also picked up a pinfall victory over the champion in a tag team match prior to that, so these two are familiar and ready to go to war for the highest prize in War Zone Wrestling. Shelley and Hero put on an absolute mat wrestling clinic in the first five minutes of this match, leaving these fans just amazed as they chant "THIS IS AWESOME!" You'll be hard pressed to find two guys who can work the mat better than these two, and it was really either man's match, as Shelley used his superior speed to try and slip through Hero's holds, while Hero tried to pin down Shelley with his strength and size, leaving both men a little frustrated.
Mid-Match Commercial Break
00:00:30
As we come back from the commercial, Hero has taken to laying into Shelley with big elbows, pinning him in the corner with a choke afterwards, before hitting a Saito Suplex en route to getting a two count. Shelley is able to fight back with very quick snapping shoot kicks to Hero's knee, followed by an Enzuigiri. Shelley comes off the ropes and hits a Spinning Headscissors before trying to jump and elbow Hero as he leans against the ropes, but Hero catches him in mid-air, dropping him on the top rope throat first! Shelley rolls to the outside and Hero leans backwards against the ropes, flipping backwards and onto his feet before nailing a big running boot to Shelley on the outside! Hero hammerlocks Shelley and sends him shoulder first into the turnpost before sending him back inside.
Hero attempts to clean Shelley's clock with a Rolling Elbow back in the ring, but Shelley drops to his back and kips up, delivering a Superkick to Hero before trying a ShellShock, but Hero twists into a Belly to Back position, flipping Shelley backwards, which the champ lands on his feet, but Hero is quick to turn and smash him with a Rolling Elbow, sending him inside out! Hero goes for the cover, but only gets a two count! Hero calls for the end and tries for a Hangman's Clutch, but Shelley is able to slip through the Cravat and roll over Hero, locking on the Border City Stretch! Hero pulls himself up and picks up Shelley to his side, nailing a Backbreaker before transitioning then trying to come down with a vicious downward Elbow Strike, but Shelley rolls out of the way out that and hits a wicked Shining Wizard right to Hero's face! Shelley heads up top and comes down with a beautiful textbook Frog Splash, and it's all over! Shelley retains!
Mike Tenay:
Crisp, tight action ends with Alex Shelley defeating perhaps his greatest foe in Chris Hero here, sealing the deal with a Frog Splash tonight.
Scott Hudson:
Chris Hero was just one move away from winning it there, but Shelley just trusted his instincts and they carried him through a very tough title defense. Impressive showing by both men.
Backstage Segment
00:01:00
BJ Whitmer is backstage, accompanied by Azrieal but he is far from jovial as he confronts Shane Douglas. Whitmer tells Douglas that he is going insane, and he needs... he MUST defeat Chris Dickinson, and says he's begging Douglas, pleading him for a match next week with Dickinson to try to regain some of his manhood after suffering loss after loss. Douglas says these two need to settle it, once and for all, and says next week... STEEL CAGE MATCH... and that needs to be the end of it! Whitmer thanks Douglas as he ponders the challenge ahead, and we are headed to the main event.

SINGLES MATCH
00:07:00
"The Blockbuster!" Johnny Gargano (c) vs. Tyler Black
Gargano doesn't seem eager to really mix it up with Black after Black comes out on top of two quick exchanges of arm wringers and headlocks, Gargano realizing this is going to be a very tall order. Black is able to take the champion down and roll him up for a two count, leading Gargano to head to the outside and try to rethink things, but Black rushes up the turnbuckles and flies to the outside, catching Gargano with a twisting plancha! Black sends Gargano back into the ring and tries for the Avada Kedavra, but Gargano rolls under it and jumps, Springboarding off the middle rope and catching Black with a Reverse STO, getting a two count! Gargano then lifts up Black and gets on his shoulders, yelling "YOU'RE DEAD!" before sending him into the buckles with the Lawn Dart, but he still only gets a two count! Gargano goes looking for the Garga-NO Escape, but Black slips out of it and pulls him into the Paroxysm, but only a two count! Black tries to catch Gargano with a Superkick, but Gargano ducks and it connects with the referee! Gargano comes off the ropes tries for a clothesline, but Black ducks it. Both men then try to hit Superkicks, neither connecting, before they rush in and hit a Double Clothesline, and now both men are down! As they try to get up, out come Sami Callihan and Jimmy Jacobs!
Mike Tenay:
Oh, what do these guys want!
Jacobs grabs a chair and slides it in, but it is closer to Gargano. Gargano sees the chair and says, "Thanks!" to Jacobs, before smashing Black over the head with it! He then picks up Black, and nails the Hurts Donut on the chair, before sliding it out of the ring. Gargano hooks the leg, and the referee turns to see Black pinned. The fans are booing wildly now, as Gargano manages to retain!
Mike Tenay:
A miscalculation there on TOXIC's part leads to Gargano getting the win, but in very, very shady fashion.
Scott Hudson:
Yeah, I agree, it looked like Black may have very well had his number here tonight.
Post-Match Segment
00:02:30
Callihan and Jacobs enter the ring and confront Gargano. Black gets to his feet, coming up behind Jacobs and Callihan, pointing and cursing at Gargano... before CALLIHAN TURNS AND CATCHES BLACK WITH A VICIOUS LARIAT! Callihan stands up, grinning ear to ear, before stomping Black into the mat. Jacobs laughs as he takes a mic, Gargano looking pleased with his title over his shoulder. "Ladies and gentlemen, allow us to introduce to you the NEWEST MEMBER OF TOXIC... the WORLD JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION... JOHNNY... GARGANO!" Gargano shakes both men's hands, before taking the mic, "It feels good to be the company of true greatness, just as I should be! With TOXIC, nobody... and I mean NOBODY can stop Johnny Gargano!"
Mike Tenay:
What a slimy, conniving snake that Johnny Gargano is! This is outrageous!
Scott Hudson:
I really don't know what to say. He has sunken down about as low as you can go, that title consuming his soul. He'll do anything to keep it, Mike, and this right here proves it.
Mike Tenay:
For Scott Hudson, I'm Mike Tenay... we'll see you next week!
